Nipsey Hussle’s Killer Is A “Target” In Prison, Lawyer Says: “There’s A Green Light On Him From All The Gangs”

Eric Holder’s life will be in danger behind bars, his attorney confirmed, after the 33-year-old was sentenced for the murder of Nipsey Hussle. The judge handed down a 60-year sentence to Holder after a jury found him guilty on all counts. However, his attorney believes that his life behind bars will be a living hell. He explained there are many people who are looking to inflict harm upon Holder.

A clip of Holder’s court appearance surfaced this week where a person, that many believe to be the judge, warned him of what life will be like incarcerated. However, as Hollywood Unlocked notes, it was actually his lawyer who suggested Eric Holder might not make it out of his prison sentence alive and asked for protective custody. “Once he gets to state prison, he’s a target,” the attorney said. “There’s a green light on him from all the gangs, all the people that loved Nipsey Hussle. And so, his life in prison is going to be hell for as long as it lasts.”

Eric Holder’s 60-Year Sentence For Nipsey Hussle’s Death

The concerns expressed by Holder’s attorney have already been proven true before the trial began. In July, his attorney Aaron Jensen confirmed that he was attacked behind bars by a group of men. “Mr. Holder, Jr. was assaulted by multiple individuals while he was in the holding cell at the jail while waiting to be brought to court yesterday morning,” Jansen told CBS News. “The attack included a razor and the back of his head was cut.” Shortly after, Holder appeared in court with bruises and a swollen face from the attack.

The jury ultimately found Eric Holder guilty of the first-degree murder of Nipsey Hussle. He was also found guilty of two counts of attempted voluntary manslaughter and one count of possession of a firearm. Hussle, whose 4-year death anniversary approaches this Friday, reportedly confronted Eric Holder for cooperating with authorities in front of the Marathon Store on Crenshaw and Slauson. Holder returned where he fired numerous shots at Nipsey Hussle and killed him. Check out the clip of Holder above. We’ll keep you posted with any further updates.

Josh Duggar’s Prison Sentence For Child Porn Extended

Josh Duggar will be spending an extra two months in prison for his 12-year sentence for child pornography. The former 19 Kids And Counting star will be released in October 2032, according to the Bureau of Prisons. Duggar was previously sentenced to 151 months in May 2022. Duggar is currently serving that sentence at FCI Seagoville in Texas. He was placed in solitary confinement, last month, after being found with a contraband cell phone.

At the time of Duggar’s arrest, the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Western District of Arkansas said in a press release, “According to court documents, Joshua James Duggar, 33, allegedly used the internet to download child sexual abuse material. Duggar allegedly possessed this material, some of which depicts the sexual abuse of children under the age of 12, in May 2019.”

As part of his sentencing, Duggar is not allowed to have any unsupervised contact with minors. Court documents obtained by Us in June 2022 state, “If there is a concern about the potential for inadvertent contact with a minor at a particular place, function, or event, then the Defendant shall get approval from the U.S. Probation Office before attending any such place, function or event.” Additionally, once Duggar is released, he cannot “possess, use, or have access to a computer or any other electronic device that has Internet or photograph storage capabilities without prior advance notice and approval of the U.S. Probation Office.”

Duggar’s wife, Anna, recently gave birth to the couple’s seventh baby. Altogether they share Mackynzie, 13, Michael, 11, Marcus, 9, Meredith, 7, Mason, 5, and Maryella, 3, and their youngest, Madyson. Duggar and his lawyers are currently seeking to reverse his conviction. They argued his case during a federal appeals court hearing on the matter in February. They claim investigators violated his rights by taking the phone he was using to call his lawyer. This is when they found the child pornography.

6ix9ine Associate & Chief Keef Shooter Kooda B Released From Prison

Kooda B was just released from prison, a rapper and former 6ix9ine associate who shot at Chief Keef some years ago. Moreover, it seems he served a portion of his 54-month sentence he received back in December of 2020. According to Complex, his sentence also included three years of supervised release and previously received temporary release on $300,000 earlier in the year due to concerns of COVID-19 given his asthma. Furthermore, he pleaded guilty in 2019 to assault with a deadly weapon in the name of racketeering for the 2018 shooting of Chief Keef outside of the W Hotel in Times Square.

Fortunately, Keef was not harmed in the incident. Afterwards, 6ix9ine allegedly ratted Kooda out as the shooter after he admitted to offering Kooda $20,000 for the hit and paying him half. Now, Worldstar obtained a video of him leaving a correctional facility and greeting loves ones. In addition, he also took to his Instagram to share the good news. Neither Sosa nor the “FEFE” rapper have responded to this development as of writing this article.

Kooda B Released From Prison

“I’m willing to take full responsibility for my actions,” the former prisoner wrote in a court-addressed letter. ”That was an extremely foolish choice I made. I allowed myself to look up to and listen to someone with more success and fame. That was not the right thing to do, I regret it and it won’t happen again. I thought he was a good friend. I was excited that he named a song after me.” If his 54-month sentence includes time served (like his former affiliate’s did), he still saw an early release, as that timeframe would indicate an August 2024 release.

Regardless, Judge Paul Engelmayer scolded the rapper for his actions. “So let me be blunt,” he told Kooda. “You need to grow up and get a more mature perspective on gang activity. If you continue to pursue a career involving rapping and public performances, I hope you will stop romanticizing gang violence. I hope you have learned from this experience that gang violence is not something to celebrate.” Moreover, he faced up to life in prison following his original February 2019 arrest, though the sentence clearly did not reach that mark. Regardless, come back to HNHH for the latest on Kooda B, Chief Keef, and 6ix9ine.

Metro Boomin Updates Fans On Young Thug

Metro Boomin just took to Instagram to update fans on Young Thug, who’s currently behind bars awaiting trial for RICO charges against him and the YSL crew. Moreover, the process in this case proved to be painstaking, arduous, and unpredictable in the months since the collective’s May 2022 arrest. Still, many in the music industry, especially close collaborators, have shown Thug in particular a lot of support and well-wishes. As such, some of his closest friends like producer Metro Boomin sometimes get the chance to speak to Thug. Now, Metro provided fans with some light at the end of the tunnel.

“Talked to [spider emoji] today and just know when he touchdown the whole [earth emoji] gon feel it [bicep flex emoji],” he wrote. Furthermore, the producer spoke on their consistent communication on DJ Drama’s The Streetz Iz Watching podcast. However, this update also comes after the case’s jury selection process suffered multiple delays. Between everything going on in the trial, this seems to be one of the main obstacles the case’s progress faces. Another important element to consider is information leaks and further wrongdoing from the YSL camp as they await their fate.

Metro Boomin Gives Update On Young Thug

Regardless, the iconic producer believes that his good spirits are holding him together right now. “I be talking to him, he’s blessed man,” the HEROES & VILLAINS architect explained. “Anybody know Slime know he got a heart of gold but he got the heart of a warrior at the same time so like, he got his head up. And I pray for him every single day, even since everything first happened, I pray for him every single day.

“The day he got locked up he was supposed to be in the ‘Superhero’ video,” Metro continued. “He had a whole scene set up where he was gonna say the tag and do some other shit. I remember talking to him on the FaceTime, he was like, ‘yeah I’m finna pull up.’” Hopefully Thug’s spirits stay high as the media world bites their nails ahead of his future. In fact, Thugger’s sister also posted a picture of a call with him. In the snapshot, which you can peep below, he flexes his muscles and puts on a big smile. Regardless, come back to HNHH for the latest from Metro Boomin and more updates on the YSL case and Young Thug.

Ciara & Russell Wilson Visit Prison, Dance & Sing With Inmates

Ciara & Russell Wilson recently paid a visit to a prison to engage with inmates and lead a prayer together. Moreover, they worked with the organization God Behind Bars to host the event, which seems to be a group that connects incarcerated individuals to local churches. Overall, clips from the event showed everyone having a wonderful time, with some like the “1, 2 Step” singer being moved to tears. Furthermore, her and Wilson visited over 300 inmates in Everglades Correctional Institution in Florida. Readers may remember some of the couple’s previous philanthropic efforts, such as donating to food banks during the pandemic.

At this specific event, the Denver Broncos star read a Bible verse and Ciara sung after he spoke. In fact, she seemed moved by the event to the point of tears as they led a prayer together. On his end, Wilson posted a video of him singing along with inmates to a gospel hit, some of whom serve life sentences. In addition to their own testimonies and clips, God Behind Bars also spoke glowingly of their involvement on social media.

Ciara & Russell Wilson Connect With Prison Inmates

“The voices of the incarcerated were so loud, it felt like it could be heard by the entire prison,” officials remarked on Instagram. “In a place so easily filled with so much division, there was a moment where Incarcerated men put their arms around each other and prayed for those struggling with anxiety and depression. After @ciara sang WAYMAKER, men came to the front and wept, giving their lives to Jesus. Many of these men are serving life sentences in prison, but now they will be spending LIFE with Jesus. It is hard to put words into what happened but it was a night of UNITY, PRAISE, and SALVATION! We will never be the same!”

Of course, Wilson’s charities apparently just donates a fraction of its total earnings. As such, some of these acts are perhaps hypocritical, but nonetheless useful and important for those they impact. A wrong does not undo a right, but we’ve also seen whether they prioritize image or true impact. Regardless, come back to HNHH for the latest on Ciara and Russell Wilson.

YouTuber ‘Omi In A Hellcat’ Gets 5 Years & Forfeits $30Mil In Cable TV Scam

There has been a flurry of social media stars flaunting their wealth online, much like Omi in a Hellcat. The Youtube star boasts nearly one million followers, and often, he is seen showing off his luxury goods. Omi, real name Bill Omar Carrasquillo, is one of many everyday people to find success through social media influencing. A quick look at his Instagram shows him posing in front of his fleet of vehicles, flexing luxury brands, and boasting about his sneaker collection.

It looked as if he was living the good life without a care in the world. However, police say it was all an illusion, stating that the riches were acquired through an illegal cable TV piracy scam. It was labeled as one of the most “brazen and successful,” according to The Philadelphia Inquirer.

A Tough Sentencing For Omi In A Hellcat

Carrasquillo faced a slew of charges including money laundering, conspiracy, tax evasion, and copyright infringement. It is a far cry from the inspiring story of Omi’s rise; the Philly native has 37 siblings, and his mother passed away from a drug overdose. His drug-dealing father taught him the game when he was just 12 years old, and Omi spent much of his childhood being moved from relatives’ homes to foster care. In his 20s, he was floating in and out of the system, but he helped develop a company that soon was a multimillion-dollar business.

It’s reported that the company would provide hundreds of movies to subscribers, as well as on-demand and pay-per-view deals. Omi was said to have brought in upwards of $34 million before the authorities ended his operation. He pleaded guilty, and earlier today (March 8), he was sentenced to 5.5 years in prison.

Carrasquillo Addresses The Court

Additionally, Omi has to forfeit more than $30 million in assets—which includes at least $6 million in cash. He must also turn over the luxury whips, including Porches, Lamborghinis, McLarens, and more. He further has over 12 properties that he has to give up. During sentencing, Carrasquillo apologized for his crimes and said that getting caught “saved my life.”

“I really didn’t know the significance of this crime until I was picked up [by the FBI] at my home,” he said. “I feel like I let everybody down.” When he was initially investigated, he appeared on social media to say the FBI took everything from him. He further stated he was only guilty of making money.

Tay-K Appears In Good Spirits On Video Call From Prison

Tay-K appears to be in good spirits as he awaits trial for allegedly shooting 23-year-old Mark Anthony Saldivar. Tay-K was previously sentenced to 55 years in prison for his involvement in the 2016 home invasion and robbery that resulted in the death of 21-year-old Ethan Walker. He has been convicted of murder and aggravated robbery. Tay-K is best known for his 2017 hit song “The Race“. The single reached number 44 on the US Billboard Hot 100. It’s since been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

“I know bro is rethinking that decision to go on da run every hour of every day,” one fan commented on a post of the new video call that was shared by NoJumper. Another argued: “He’s definitely been in there too long? How does one expect rehabilitation if u just locking up like rabbid dogs? Wasn’t he 16/17? If he getting his GED, doing good why he still in there? Can he not change his whole life around?”

Tay-K’s Video Call From Prison

Tay-K previously pleaded for a “second chance at adulthood” during a series of tweets posted back in January. “I really just need 1 chance @ adulthood,” he wrote. “I bet if I was a lil white kid they wouldn’t have gave me no 55 years for a crime I was alleged to play the most insignificant role in when I was 16….they woulda rightfully argued that my mind wasn’t fully developed and gave me rehabilitation and a 2nd (1st) chance at adulthood.”

He also referenced the 16-year-old white female co-defendant who was given 10 years probation and has since been released from prison. He added: “One of my codefendants was a white girl who was 16 jus like me…they didn’t certify her as an adult but they certified me n pimp as adults, pimp got 30, I got 55, she ended up getting 10 years of probation without no deal…that girl @ home rn.”

At the time of his initial arrest, Tay-K had just turned 17 years old. He spent a total of three months on the run beforehand. On the day that he was brought in, he released “The Race.”

Future Signee Lil Double 0 Reportedly Facing 15 Years In Jail For Drug & Gun Charges

Lil Double 0, signee to Future’s record label Freebandz, reportedly faces 15 years in prison on drug and gun charges. Moreover, the Memphis-born rapper tweeted that he’d turn himself in to Broward County Jail in Florida on Monday (February 27). From what reports from DJ Akademiks indicate, he did so following a December arrest in the state. Furthermore, paperwork shows that the “Fight That Switch” MC faces charges of trafficking of oxycodone, unlawful carrying of a concealed firearm, possession of ecstasy/MDMA, and driving without a valid license.

Also, Double 0 tweeted a somewhat cryptic message on Wednesday (March 1) that may or may not refer to his circumstances. “Can’t nobody f**k with me !” the rapper tweeted, real name Tyreke Rogers. “I’m just underrated but when I go global they wish they knew me!” In addition, the “Good On Love” artist wrote “Let’s make this week epic” when announcing he’d turn himself in. Even with all the other prolific cases in hip-hop going on at the moment, this might strike fans as a strange anomaly. While it’s not clear whether he’s flexing this move or trying to be proactive, at least his social media doesn’t indicate any fear.

Lil Double 0 Reportedly Set For 15 Years Of Jail Time

Interestingly, this isn’t the only recent arrest related to Broward County. Furthermore, Kodak Black faced rehab for 30 days after he allegedly failed a drug test due to traces of fentanyl reportedly in his system. According to authorities, Yak handed in a drug test five days after failing to submit to a random test, and said submission came back positive. However, while in court on Tuesday (February 28), his legal team maintained that their client never tested positive in the first place.

Moreover, they claim that Kodak’s been seeking help in his other drug addictions. His lawyer Bradford Cohen believes that the testing lab might’ve made a mistake or mixed up his urine sample. In fact, an allegedly star-struck employee admitted that an error in the tests was probable. While Judge Barbara Duffy suggested a hair sample to clear any confusion instead, the Floria rapper declined. Regardless of your take, come back to HNHH for the latest on Lil Double 0.

Pretty Ricky’s Baby Blue Released From Prison Early

A Paycheck Protection Program scam landed him in prison, but Baby Blue is now a free man. It was almost a year ago that the Pretty Ricky singer was sentenced to 20 months in prison, but it looks like he was awarded an early release. Blue was accused of being part of a fraud during the COVID pandemic that earned him upwards of almost $25 million. He denied culpability and warned others against doing deals with people without knowing the full extent of what is going on.

The Shade Room shared a video of Baby Blue as he was reuniting with Spectacular and Pleasure P. The Pretty Ricky trio celebrated outside of the prison, and Blue gave an exclusive statement to the TSR after being released thanks to the First Step Act. “I met a lot of REAL n*ggas in the feds,” he said.

Fredo Bang Reveals Drug Smuggling Tales From Behind Bars

Fredo Bang recently opened up about his experiences behind bars for two years, and also shared his proximity to drug smugglers in prison. While he doesn’t have much first-hand experience, he revealed some curious terminology. Moreover, the Baton Rouge MC served two years in jail for a second degree attempted murder charge. He spoke to VladTV of his tales, and as he dug deeper, he had some terms to explain. Furthermore, Vlad asked him of the cruel ways in which people rob smugglers who use their anal cavities to hide drugs. During his explanation, he said that people in prison call their rear end their Gucci bag.

“Your Gucci bag,” he stated, before explaining that using it didn’t mean you were safe from a beatdown. “They gon’ beat you up, they gon’ pin you down, they going off in there. They want that mojo, they want that meth and they want that back. If they gotta go in that back, that’s what they doing.” While Fredo sold drugs while he served time, he claimed to never have gone that far.

“I ain’t even gon’ lie, I ain’t never played those games,” Fredo said, “I don’t even know how to wipe back there too long, you feel me? I ain’t never played with my Gucci bag. When I was selling drugs in jail, I used to have like a little pocket. I had a migo stitch in the pocket. So when I go in there, I just pull it out the pants. If I’m getting searched it don’t really show too much. I ain’t put nothing in my Gucci bag.”

Still, the 26-year-old didn’t give much further details about how he got the drugs in the facility. In fact, that seems to be part of his nature. Reportedly, he refused to answer questions during a pre-trial conference for YNW Melly’s double murder trial last June. Fredo continuously invoked his Fifth Amendment rights and the judge denied the prosecution’s motion to require him to answer. As always, log back into HNHH for the latest on Fredo Bang, the case of YNW Melly, and more interesting revelations from rappers.
