Plies Reacts to 2024 Election: ‘Character No Longer Matters’

Watch Plies Says Women With Plastic Surgery Only Attracts Ugly Men

President-elect Donald Trump is on a victory lap, and everyone isn’t feeling it—especially Plies. The rapper is looking at the results of the 2024 election and has come to one conclusion: “Character no longer matters.”

“Just because the person that you felt should have won didn’t make it across the finish line, don’t for a second allow yourself to question your beliefs and what it is that you stand for,” Plies said on Instagram. “Just because some results didn’t go how you foreseen them to go, it doesn’t mean you wrong about anything.”

He added, “One thing this election did teach me is something that he knew and something that I didn’t know. That character no longer matters. That all the dark and divisiveness and all the things he said, he knew people wanted that, I just didn’t think that they did.”

Lil Pump Tweets “F**k” Eminem And Taylor Swift During Election Celebration

Lil Pump is the MAGA rapper. People like Tom Macdonald and Kid Rock can try all they want, but Pump has really cornered the market on supporting Donald Trump. The rapper has been rocking the red hat since he was accidentally called “Little Pimp” in 2020, and he’s overjoyed with the results of the latest election. Lil Pump posted a video of him celebrating the night of the election. He was obviously happy, but he made sure to throw insults at some of Kamala Harris’ most notable supporters in the process. Because why not?

“F**k Taylor Swift,” he tweeted. “F**k Eminem … This is the best day of my life.” Lil Pump then took aim at the many, many people who knock him for his lack of intelligence. “You might think I’m dumb, but I’m very smart I’mma keep it that way.” The rapper then claimed that he was planning to leave the country if Kamala Harris had managed to secure the electoral college. “Thank God Donald Trump won because if not, I would’ve left the country,” he added. You can scroll through Lil Pump’s Twitter account to get the full breadth of his election day tweets. There’s lots of praise leveled at Trump, and lots of hatred aimed towards anyone who opposed him.

Lil Pump Previously Dissed Slim And Swift On Twitter

Lil Pump has taken issue with Taylor Swift and Eminem in the past. The rapper called out the former when she confirmed that she was endorsing Kamala Harris for president. “Taylor Swift, you have no clue why ur even voting for Kamala,” he tweeted at the pop star. “You said do ur research, clearly you didn’t do ur research. Right after the debate u endorsed her lol Right after she lied many many times!” Pump was similarly outraged when Eminem threw his support behind Harris. The rapper showed up at Harris’ rally in Detroit, and Lil Pump decided to invoke Em’s daughter. “F*ck you and f*ck Hailie,” he said via IG.

Lil Pump’s mouth has always run a mile a minute. He has decided to up this, however, with regards to the election. He praised himself for supporting Donald Trump when he claimed other artists were too scared to do so. “Everybody was so p**sy to endorse Trump, but guess what, I speak what was on my mind and I don’t give a f*ck,” he added. “I told you he was gonna win four years ago you guys looked at me crazy now look this country is gonna be its best.” Time will tell if Pumpernickel gets what he wants.

Cardi B Demands Trump Supporters Leave Her The “F**k Alone”

There were countless celebrities who endorsed Kamala Harris for president. Eminem, Beyonce and Taylor Swift are some of the most notable. Megan Thee Stallion and GloRilla performed in support of Harris at the DNC and a campaign rally, respectively. Regardless, Cardi B is the celebrity who’s come under the most fire. The rapper recently spoke at Kamala Harris’ rally in Milwaukee, and Donald Trump voters have delighted in mocking her ever since it was announced that Trump won the election.

Cardi B issued two responses via social media on November 6. The first was measured, and positive. Cardi praised Kamala Harris for her poise, regardless of the outcome of the election. “To Vice President Kamala,” she wrote on Instagram. “No matter what they’ve said to bring you down or belittle your run for the presidency, they can never say you didn’t run your race with honesty and with integrity.” It was an unexpectedly wholesome take for a rapper known for going nuclear on social media. As the day wore on, however, and people continued to taunt Cardi B, she clapped back.

Cardi B Threatened To “Light Up” Her Detractors

The rapper posted a second video to Twitter. This time, she targeted those who opposed Harris. “Y’all won, I know y’all happy,” she explained. “Ain’t nobody acting like bitter losers.” It was with the word “however,” though, that the Cardi fans know and love came out. “Y’all need to leave me the f*ck alone,” she asserted. “Because I got one more f*cking cigarette in me before I start lighting your a*ses up.” The rapper closed out her statement by extending her warning to anyone and everyone. “That’s word to the motherf*cking United States of America.”

Cardi B has been on the same rollercoaster of emotions that other Harris supporters have been on over the last day. We know because she has documented the entire thing on social media. The rapper stated that the Harris campaign needed a “Hail Mary” when the election started to slip away from them during the evening of Election Day. When it was clear that Trump would be the victor, Cardi B posted a photo of herself looking very distraught. “I hate y’all,” she wrote over the photo. Hopefully the bullying dies down for the rapper as the week unfolds.

Ray J And Amber Rose Pose In MAGA Hats After Trump Wins U.S. Election

Ray J and Amber Rose occupy an odd pocket in hip hop culture. Both are significant figures dating back a decade plus. That said, neither have played a direct role role in music in recent years, and they become more known for their antics than their careers. Some could argue their antics have become their careers. This definitely seemed the case on November 6. Amber Rose posted a photo alongside Ray J on her IG Story. Harmless enough? Well, the photo was made a bit more controversial by the fact that both celebs were wearing Donald Trump’s MAGA hat.

The timing of the post was not accidental. Trump won his second term as President on November 6, and Amber Rose has been a vocal supporter throughout his campaign. She was more than happy to get Ray J in on the celebration. “Look who I ran into,” she wrote over the photo. Ray sporting a MAGA hat is a bit more surprising than Rose, but not by much. The entertainer has been linked to Trump several times over the years. Usually, on his own accord. Ray J went on Hollywood Unlocked in 2020 and declared that the future U.S. President is “the homie.” He told host Jason Lee that he could get in touch with Trump in the span of a few minutes.

Ray J Has Met With Donald Trump On Multiple Occasions

Ray J also met with Trump in 2022. The entertainer’s manager, David Weintraub, told People that Ray J and Trump spent the day at Mar-a-Lago golfing and talking about business ventures. “He just felt like it was a good time to talk about business and technology and Black empowerment,” Weintraub explained. “What he’s doing right now is he’s exploring options and creating relationships.” Ray J’s affiliation with Trump even led to a spat with fellow artist Kodak Black in 2023.

Ray went to the comment section on DJ Akademiks profile and claimed that Kodak acted disrespectfully when they both went to meet with Donald Trump. “I took him to Trump house and he did the most,” Ray J claimed. “They were not happy with the experience bc he had no guidance and respect. Let’s figure out how we can help this guy instead of watching him self destruct.” Wack 100 dismissed the claims that the Florida rapper misbehaved. Kodak Black himself, denied these allegations during his appearance on the Drink Champs podcast. Regardless, Ray J’s opinion of Trump is seemingly stronger than ever.

Meek Mill Claims Voters Were “Brainwashed” During U.S. Election

Reactions following the U.S. election were varied. Some celebrated victory, others lamented defeat. Meek Mill, however, did neither. The rapper decided to hop on Twitter instead, and voice happiness over the fact that the election is over. Meek Mill had been vocal throughout the entire election season. He even dropped a song on November 3 called “WHO YOU VOTING FOR?.” Evidently, the “who” was not of importance to him. He’s just happy that the U.S. public is no longer, in his estimation “brainwashed.”

Meek Mill was downright giddy on November 5. “I’m glad the election over,” he tweeted. “The brainwash was turned up on max!.” He also reposted a tweet in which a photo of Kamala Harris was juxtaposed with a photo of a Simpsons episode in which a female president was depicted. The tweet claimed that this is the first time the show failed to predict a political event accurately, and it appears as though the rapper agreed. A few hours after Meek Mill criticized voters for their “brainwash” antics, he tweeted a reference to the 1999 film The Matrix. “They about to break the matrix lol,” he wrote, without specifying who “they” are supposed to be.

Meek Mill Previously Endorsed Kamala Harris In Song

Meek Mill’s political allegiance has been difficult to track. The rapper has said positive things about both Donald Trump and Kamala Harris over the course of the last year. He praised Donald Trump for somehow being able to win the election after two assassination attempts and several criminal charges. “Who is this guy trump fr,” he tweeted. “I know some wild guys but wtf lol just my thoughts!” Meek Mill also stated he would be interested in discussing policy with Kamala Harris, given her past as a prosecutor. “I would ask her three questions about black and brown men going to prison,” he asserted.

Despite claiming that he did not intend to endorse either candidate, Meek Mill seemingly endorsed Harris the day before the election. He did so on the aforementioned song, “WHO YOU VOTING FOR?.” He noted that he had friends who were Trump supporters, but couldn’t abide by the “venomous ways” in which he moved. “And I ain’t vote for Cam-a-la, I’m a probably vote Kamala,” he spit. “Somebody call her.” Meek is somebody that is prone to changing his mind, or making confusing public remarks. That said, his joy over the concluded election cycle seems genuine.

She had endorsed Harris during a rally in Milwaukee, earlier this month.

Fans had mixed responses to Glo’s post. One user complained about her facetious attitude: “This why Kamala lost yall wanna keep making jokes instead of taking some sh*t serious for once smh.” Another user wrote: “Y’all love laughing at ignorance while dressing it up as a joke.” Check out GloRilla’s full post on Instagram below.
