Vice President Kamala Harris’ Campaign Drops New Ads Featuring MAGA Racist Rhetoric About Puerto Ricans After NYC Rally

Screen Shot 2024 10 28 at 4.50.03 PM

Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign is spotlighting recent despicable comments made by a speaker at that MAGA rally in New York City over the weekend that disparaged Puerto Ricans. The digital ads targeted Latino voters. The ad also argued that the community “deserves better” than what former President Trump offers. Facts.

During the pre-show at Trump’s MAGA rally, so-called comedian Tony Hinchcliffe made disgusting jokes about Latinos and called Puerto Rico a “floating island of garbage.” Unsurprising but this is who they are by all account of Trump’s detractors.

Get this, the 30-second ad will run on digital platforms popular with Latino viewers, such as YouTube TV, Hulu, and Snapchat, in battleground states. According to a Harris campaign official who shared details with NBC News, the ad aims to reach Puerto Rican populations in key states like Pennsylvania, which has over 450,000 Puerto Ricans, including more than 300,000 eligible voters. North Carolina, Wisconsin, and Michigan also have substantial Puerto Rican communities, and small margins could determine the race outcome in these states.

Along with this new ad, the Harris campaign will place digital ads in El Nuevo Dia, Puerto Rico’s leading newspaper, through Election Day. The ad includes a GIF in Spanish that reads: “Focus on your family in the States. One voice, one vote.”

What’s more the ad begins with a clip of Hinchcliffe’s offensive remarks before showing Trump mentioning “Puerto Rico” and ends with Harris’ comments on Trump’s response to Hurricane Maria. “I will never forget what Donald Trump did. He abandoned the island and offered nothing more than paper towels and insults,” Harris states, referencing her message to Puerto Rican voters in Pennsylvania, released prior to Trump’s rally. “As president, I will always fight for you and your families, and together, we can chart a new way forward,” she adds.

Anyway, the Trump campaign tried to distance itself from the remarks, and notable Republicans quickly condemned the comments. Whatever.

Even before the nonsense, ahead of Trump’s MAGA event, Harris outlined her economic agenda for Puerto Ricans, stopping at a Puerto Rican restaurant in Philadelphia. Who said the VP does not have policies.

Her proposals include an “opportunity economy” for Puerto Rico, which would involve building a robust energy grid and streamlining bureaucratic processes that have slowed projects.

To further amplify her proactive message, Harris’ campaign posted a video summarizing her policy, which Puerto Rican stars like Bad Bunny, Jennifer Lopez, Ricky Martin, and Luis Fonsi later shared on Instagram. While some of these artists already endorsed Harris, the campaign hopes their support will significantly extend the reach of her message. Combined, these musicians have over 300 million Instagram followers, providing a substantial platform for Harris’ outreach.

Rep for Madison Square Garden Responds to Trump Rally Outrage: “We Rent to either Side. We Don’t Censor Artists”

Screen Shot 2024 10 28 at 2.03.56 PM

Here comes the nonapology after what was widely regarded as a MAGA hate rally at Madison Square Garden. A representative for Madison Square Garden (MSG) has addressed recent backlash over a rally held by Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump at the New York venue on Sunday night, during which several racially charged comments were made.

Get this: In a curt statement to The Hollywood Reporter on Monday, an MSG Entertainment spokesperson said, “As a business, we are neutral in political matters. We rent to either side. We don’t censor artists, performers, or speakers.”

The “event,” or whatever it was, faced outrage in part due to stand-up comedian Tony Hinchcliffe’s offensive remarks targeting Latinos, Jews, and Black people—key constituencies in the approaching election. Hinchcliffe’s comments included a controversial statement referring to Puerto Rico as a “floating island of garbage” and a racially insensitive joke about a Black audience member.

What’s more, actress Ellen Barkin publicly criticized MSG owner James Dolan, posting on X (formerly Twitter): “James Dolan owns Madison Square Garden. A major supporter of nazi trump. His accomplice is one Irving Azoff. A Jew. A shonda for the goyim if ever one lived. May they suffer the pain of all who suffered at the hands of the Nazi regime.”

Here’s how what a source emphasized. The Trump campaign had rented Madison Square Garden, a venue with a longstanding history of hosting political and civic events. In the past, MSG has hosted both the Democratic and Republican National Conventions. Additionally, President Joe Biden held an event in March at Radio City Music Hall, another venue owned by the Dolan family, where former Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama joined him.

It is important to note that back in 1939, there was a Nazi rally at Madison Square Garden that echoed similar rhetoric and brought out the same hateful abuse just a few years before World War II began.

In response to Hinchcliffe’s remarks, several Puerto Rican entertainers, including Bad Bunny, Jennifer Lopez, and Ricky Martin, voiced their support for Trump’s Democratic opponent, Kamala Harris.

During his remarks at the rally, Trump thanked James Dolan, noting their long friendship and Dolan’s support: “I want to thank Jim Dolan. He’s been incredible. He’s been just incredible. The job they’ve done. The job they’ve done. Thank you.” Dolan, who is also a registered Democrat, held his wedding at Trump’s Mar-A-Lago resort in Florida, reflecting a friendship that spans more than 30 years.

Bad Bunny Endorses Kamala Harris After Trump Rally Speaker Drags Puerto Rico Through The Mud

Bad Bunny seems to have thrown his support behind Kamala Harris in her run for the president of the United States. Sadly, his Instagram repost of a video of Harris comes at an opportune time, as comedian Tony Hinchcliffe joked about the Puerto Rican rapper’s home country being “a floating island of garbage” during Republican presidential candidate (and convict) Donald Trump’s rally in Madison Square Garden in New York over the weekend. The video that Messi’s Adidas collaborator reposted features the Democratic candidate speaking on Puerto Rico, specifically blasting Trump’s response to Hurricane Maria and its devastation to the archipelago back in 2017.

However, it’s important to note that Bad Bunny has a much more important matter on his mind than the United States presidential election, and that’s Puerto Rico’s own electoral process. This one Kamala Harris video doesn’t amount to the many posts and public statements he recently made calling for an end to the bipartisan politics of the archipelago between pro-statehood and pro-status quo factions. P.R. continues to suffer under a colonial state and corrupt administrations that have allowed the United States to treat it horribly for over a century. The “MONACO” reggaetón giant is well-aware of this, and hopes the Puerto Rican people will elect progressive candidates that will clean up government malpractice.

Bad Bunny Endorses Kamala Harris

As such, there’s a small but powerful chance that Bad Bunny posted this video not as an endorsement, but as a subtle acknowledgement that Kamala Harris’ platform will not address these issues either. After all, his consistent zooms into Harris’ face in subsequent IG Story posts seem too intentional to not at least scrutinize. But the overwhelmingly likely interpretation is that this is an endorsement, so we won’t reach too much. Nevertheless, Benito’s principal focus is on Puerto Rico, something that also resonates with Boricuas on the mainland despite harmful bigotry threatening to silence that.

Elsewhere, Bad Bunny is still apparently linked to Kendal Jenner, and spent a majority of 2024 rolling out his trap-centric album from last year. Now, his priorities became clearer than ever. With just about a week left for the elections, we invite you to dive deeper into this issue of Puerto Rico if it’s unfamiliar to you.

Vote Or Else Initiative Town Hall Meeting Takes Over Atlanta

It was a day of civic engagement, community outreach and fellowship on Friday in Atlanta as Killer Mike welcomed an array of rappers, actors and athletes to his old neighborhood. The multi-time Grammy award winner once again teamed up with the organizations Mobilize Justice, The AAPI Victory Fund, Working Families and SEIU  to galvanize people to go and vote.

In the early part of the day, Mike was joined by Marvin Bing Founder and Leader of Mobilize Justice, and his band of luminaries Beanie Sigel, Jadakiss, Blacc Sam, Jorge “JP” Peniche of The Marathon, Jadakiss, Tamika Mallory, Latoya Tonodeo from “Power Book II: Ghost,” Smoke DZA and Wayno as they took to parts of ATL including the Camelot Projects. The collective went from door to door, talking to residents in an effort to encourage and excite people to vote in this historic and critical election, as well as to get educated about candidates running in state, and local Elections and then hit the polls on November 5.

Later that night, media personalities Angie Martinez and Ray Daniels moderated a Town Hall where most of the celebrity canvassers participated along with Dee-1, Benny The Butcher, Maurice “Moe” Mitchell of Working Families, International President of SEIU April Verrett, Founder and CEO of Onyx Impact Esosa Osa, Woody McCLain from “Power Book II: Ghost”, Isaac Keys, and J. Alphonse Nicholson plays Lil’ Murda in the hit Starz series “P-Valley”.

“We can really decide on what goes on in our own neighborhood,” Benny said about the urgency of voting. “What’s really happening in the fabric of America, we can make an impact and change on that. I’ve got mothers, daughterssisters, cousins, and it’s important… My daughter, she’s 19. I told her, ‘vote. Make sure you vote this year.’ This is her first time being able to vote. ‘Make sure you go do that and exerciseyour right to do that.”

Beanie Sigel who’s been canvassing and participating in town halls since this summer in cities such as Detroit, Chicago and Philadelphia, has been passionate about helping people get informed and to the polls.

“I always say, ‘the closest to the problem, are the closest to the solution,’’ Beanie Sigel told the people at the Town Hall, which took place at Atlanta’s Gathering Spot.

Sigel also reflected on speaking to a gaggle of kids at a neighborhood community hub called PawKids which focuses on enriching the neighborhood youth, health and education.

Screenshot 2024 10 28 at 9.49.17 AM

“I was one of those children,” Beanie added. “I talked with them. I didn’t talk to them. I didn’t talk at them. I talked with those kids. A lot of us talk at each other. But let’s talk with each other. One of my biggest records ,I say ‘Why I’m here? I go through it, so you wouldn’t do it after me.’ If I can’t teach these kids or anybody nothing else, I can teach them what not to do from the mistakes I made in my life. It’s never too late for change. So If I could do it, I encourage all of us to do it.”

“The past few months in particularly, we have turned up our efforts to focus on inner city, communities that often get neglected in mainstream campaigning, and targets sub cultures within the black community to get educated and engaged, registered to vote, and ultimately to vote,” says Marvin Bing. “You see my organization Mobilize Justice working with the AAPI Victory Fund, SEIU, Working Families and so many others. It’s a real concerted unified effort. The hip-hop community is also stepping up to educate everyone and get the neighborhoods involved. The OGs have been building with some of the younger entertainers and they are all sharing ideas, learning from one another and passing on the information to the community. Everyone has also been learning from some of the members of the community as well. The biggest take away is that everyone has a voice and everyone has power with their vote. We will be coming to more cities in these last few days before November 5, in an effort to get everyone involved.”

Bad Bunny and Jennifer Lopez Support VP Harris as Trump’s MSG Rally Delivers Racist Remarks to Puerto Rican People

Bad Bunny Joins Adam Sandler’s Sequel to Happy Gilmore

Bad Bunny Joins Adam Sandler’s Sequel to Happy Gilmore

Bad Bunny and Jennifer Lopez have publicly supported Vice President Kamala Harris on Instagram. They shared the Harris-Walz campaign’s plan for the Puerto Rican people.

In the video, Harris says, “I will never forget what Donald Trump did, and what he did not do, when Puerto Rico needed a caring and a competent leader. He abandoned the island, tried to block aid after back-to-back devastating hurricanes and offered nothing more than paper towels and insults.”

The endorsements from Bunny and Lopez come as former president Donald Trump held a MAGA rally at Madison Square Garden, which had its fair share of racist moments. Let’s break them down.

Opening the event, the Trump campaign introduced comedian Tony Hinchcliffe to the crowd, who lashed out at the Latino community. One of the wild jokes was, “They love making babies. They do. They do. There’s no pulling out. They don’t do that. They come inside, just like they did to our country.”

Then he just spoke against Puerto Rico as a whole: “There is literally a floating pile of garbage in the middle of the ocean right now. I think it’s called Puerto Rico.”

But wait, he came for Black people too suggesting they carve watermelons instead of pumpkins on Halloween.

If that’s not enough, the following speakers also had wild moments. For instance, speaker David Rem held a cross in the air and called Vice President Kamala Harris the “antichrist.” Then another, SId Rosenberg, stood ten toes down in referencing immigrants as “fucking illegals.”

The rally and it’s rhetoric arrived on the same day the Harris-Walz campaign highlighted their plan to aide the Puerto Rican population.

JD Vance Amplifies Trump’s Message, Labeling Fellow Americans as “The Enemy Within”

unnamed (2)

In a recent Meet the Press interview on NBC, Senator JD Vance echoed former President Donald Trump’s divisive stance, labeling certain Americans as “the enemy within.” According to Trump’s perspective, Vance further asserted that these individuals pose a “greater threat” to the United States than any foreign adversaries. The comments highlight an intensifying rhetoric in the political discourse, with Vance aligning closely with Trump’s framing of internal opposition.

This interview follows remarks by former White House Chief of Staff General John Kelly, who issued a strong warning about the dangers of a potential second Trump term. Kelly, who served under Trump, cautioned that Trump’s aspirations lean toward authoritarian rule. According to Kelly, if Trump were re-elected, he would likely operate without the constraints or “guardrails” that tempered his first term, describing a possible future administration as “unchecked” and “unrestrained.”

The stark tone of these statements reflects ongoing tension over Trump’s influence in the Republican party and raises concerns about the potential direction of his leadership if re-elected.

“I was literally trolling,” she revealed tot he outlet. “I troll with my friends all the time. I did not think that was going to be international news. I love Beyonce. I know Beyonce. During Beyonce’s speech, she brought up the idea of motherhood, something Rose also touched on. “We are at the precipice of an incredible shift, the brink of history,” Beyonce said. “I’m not here as a celebrity, I’m not here as a politician. I’m here as a mother. A mother who cares deeply about the world my children and all of our children live in.” As for Rose’s RNC speech, she said at one point: “Most importantly, I’m a mother. My whole world revolves around providing for my children, keeping them safe, and giving them an opportunity for a better life. That’s something that unites all American parents. Whether we’re Republicans, Democrats, conservatives, or liberals, we all want a better country for our children.”

Former FLOTUS Michelle Obama Warns Women’s Health at Risk in 2024 Election

Screen Shot 2024 10 27 at 11.48.15 AM

Former First Lady Michelle Obama issued a powerful warning at a rally for Vice President Kamala Harris in Kalamazoo, Michigan, highlighting what she believes would be the severe risks to women’s health if Donald Trump were re-elected.

Speaking to the huge crowd, Obama stated, “I am asking y’all from the core of my being to take our lives seriously.” She emphasized how policies under a Trump administration could jeopardize the health and well-being of women, urging men to consider the impact on their loved ones. “To the men who love us,” she said, “let me just try to paint a picture of what it will feel like if America, the wealthiest nation on earth, keeps revoking basic care from its women and how it will affect every single woman in your life.”

Obama, who’s known to be a great orator described potential risks, such as women “in legal jeopardy if she needs a pill from out of state or overseas, or if she has to travel across state lines because the local clinic closed up.” She stressed that women could be denied critical health care: “Your daughter could be the one too terrified to call the doctor if she’s bleeding during an unexpected pregnancy… or your wife or mother could be the ones at higher risk of dying from undiagnosed cervical cancer because they have no access to regular gynecological care.”

What’s more, Obama also urged voters to take their decisions seriously, cautioning against not voting or choosing third-party candidates as a form of protest. “We as women will become collateral damage to your rage,” she said, asking, “Are you as men prepared to look into the eyes of the women and children you love and tell them that you supported this assault on our safety?”

The Vice President echoed these dire concerns, stating that Trump’s policies would endanger women’s rights and health. “The men of America don’t want this,” she said. “Women have died because of these bans… the consequences of him ever being president again are brutally serious.”

Meanwhile, Trump’s campaign, if you want to call it that, responded, asserting that he supports state rights on abortion matters and would not sign a federal abortion ban. Campaign spokesperson Karoline Leavitt added that Trump supports access to contraception and IVF.

Amber Rose Shades Beyonce For Kamala Harris Endorsement Speech

Amber Rose is firmly on Donald Trump’s team for this upcoming election between the convicted former president and Vice President Kamala Harris. At the Republican National Convention earlier this year, she gave a speech about the reasons why she stands behind No. 45 and why she opposed the Democratic Party’s candidate. But when the model heard Beyonce speak at a Texas rally in Houston, she couldn’t help but get some deja vu. “She wanna be me so bad. Literally took my whole speech,” she claimed in an Instagram comments section about the superstar’s remarks. Seemingly, it’s over their comments on motherhood.

“We are at the precipice of an incredible shift, the brink of history,” Beyoncé expressed. “I’m not here as a celebrity, I’m not here as a politician. I’m here as a mother. A mother who cares deeply about the world my children and all of our children live in.” Here’s an excerpt of Amber Rose’s RNC speech: “Most importantly, I’m a mother. My whole world revolves around providing for my children, keeping them safe, and giving them an opportunity for a better life. That’s something that unites all American parents. Whether we’re Republicans, Democrats, conservatives, or liberals, we all want a better country for our children.”

Amber Rose Reacts To Beyonce’s Kamala Harris Endorsement

Elsewhere, both celebrities are busy dealing with rumors, speculation, and drama surrounding their names. In the case of Amber Rose, she recently addressed the viral fight that she engaged in with Joseline Hernandez on the College Hill: Celebrity Edition reality television series from BET. Rose claimed that Hernandez talked smack about her, but also stated that she never wanted to fight and tried to stay quiet about the whole thing. Finally, she wished Hernandez and her family the best.

On the other hand, Beyoncé and Jay-Z allegedly reached out to Jason Lee for his supposed comments on their friendship with Diddy amid the Bad Boy mogul’s scandal. He doesn’t understand why they supposedly got into contact when his supposed remarks on the matter didn’t even implicate them significantly in his eyes. At press time, the couple hasn’t publicly addressed all the speculative allegations surrounding them and Sean Combs. Instead, they’d rather endorse Kamala Harris for the United States presidency.
