Dave Portnoy’s beef with the owner of Dragon Pizza in Somerville, Massachusetts has gone viral. Portnoy visited the shop in the latest episode of his show, One Bite Pizza. While reviewing the pizza shop, Portnoy was interrupted by the owner, who confronted the media mogul. “Enjoy your pizza as any customer but I don’t appreciate what you do. Coming in and judging a business with one bite,” the owner yelled at Portnoy. Ever the mature human being, Portnoy had Barstool publish an article that called the man “one of the worst humans in history”.

Portnoy, the founder and owner of Barstool Sports, may have a legion of fans online. However, he is much less loved in the real world. In 2013, Portnoy tried to run for Mayor but failed to get enough signatures to appear on the ballot. Furthermore, many Massachusetts residents aren’t fond of him. MassTok has been full of videos of people hailing the pizza shop owner as a hero for standing up to Portnoy. Of course, Barstool‘s loyal army of trolls was also present to attack the man who said some mildly mean things to “El Presidente”.

Dave Portnoy Goes On Bizarre Rant About Pizza Shop Owner

Portnoy, seemed very upset about being told that his show sucks. “Like even my most ardent haters have to begrudgingly admit that I’ve done more for small business than 99.9 of private citizens in this country. It just shows how little this guy actually knows about me that he couldn’t name 1 actual reason he really hated me besides The New York Times. And that is why this guy is everything that is wrong with America right now,” Portnoy wrote in his op-ed. All this from an “alpha male destroyer of wokeness”. One who was formally reprimanded for union-busting at his media outlet in 2020.

There are of course, far bigger problems in America right now than a guy standing up to Dave Portnoy. However, that’s not how Dave Portnoy sees it. Portnoy, who as recently as last year was facing multiple allegations of sexual misconduct, decided that this was the hill he must die on. The pizza shop owner also posted to Instagram at the time of Portnoy’s visit. “F@$K you and the Stool you came in on, Dave Douchebag. Your show sucks. You suck, and you truly are the classless tool I thought you are.”

Kodak Black Learns How To Make Pizza

It was reported earlier this weeks that Kodak Black is on vacation in Italy. With that being said, his lawyers are currently battling it out in court for the rapper, who’s facing drug charges. Despite the legal drama back at home, Kodak seems to be enjoying himself on the getaway. This is showcased in a recently-surfaced clip of him trying his hand at Italian cuisine. In the clip, he appears to be joined by a couple of Italian chefs, who guide him along in the process of making a pizza.

He’s seen giving the Italian language his best shot, and even putting a silver chain around the neck of one of the chefs. They move through each step, from kneading the dough to removing the pizza from the oven, allowing Kodak to do the honor of cutting into it. The trio appears to be in great spirits, chatting, laughing, and even hugging it out and thanking each other at the end.

Some have been criticizing Kodak Black for living it up in Italy amid his legal battle. Others, however, are just happy to see him doing well. Earlier this month, it was reported that the artist had checked into a hospital on a stretcher. This sparked a lot of concern among fans, for obvious reasons. It’s unclear what exactly the 26-year-old could have been hospitalized for, however, some speculate that it involved substance use.

He’s also been making headlines for his recent collab with 6ix9ine and Yailin la Mas Viral, “Shaka Laka.” He got some pushback for the project, as 6ix9ine has been famously labeled a “snitch.” Boosie Badazz perpetually roasted the rapper, even go so far as to claim he has “no morals” and “no principles.” Boosie’s notorious for going in on alleged “rats,” so it’s no surprise that he had a strong opinion.

Perhaps Drake could use the pizza profit, as his credit card recently declined live on stream. All jokes aside, it’s clear that Drake isn’t hurting for cash, judging by the massive $1 million NBA Finals bet he placed last week.

Yesterday, Drake also teased “something crazy” he has coming up with Sampha. He shared a photo on his Instagram story alongside the artist, telling his fans, “@sampha and me cooking up something crazy.” “Weird you lost your London accent, but whatever,” he also added, “People evolve I guess.”

Drake also recently appeared on the season 3 finale of FXX’s Dave, joined by Brad Pitt. Lil Dicky shared with Rolling Stone how he was able to land a Drake cameo. “A guy like Brad Pitt isn’t going to get in a show that he doesn’t think is one of the best shows. Because I have this show out, it’s a lot easier for a guy on Brad’s level to believe in it. It didn’t take me moving mountains to get Brad Pitt in the show,” he explained. Pete Davidson Brings Pizzas To WGA Picket Lines

We are nearing the end of the first week of the Writers Guild of America strikes. The WGA, which represents film and television writers, authorized a work stoppage and strike on May 2. The strike comes after the AMPTP, which represents film and television studios, refused to bring a reasonable deal to the table before the expiration of the current WGA contract. The WGA is seeking fairer wages, better residual structures, and protections from AI amongst many other issues.

The strike has brought Hollywood, and the East Coast TV networks, to a standstill. In New York, most late-night shows have gone off the air as their writer’s rooms walked out. Meanwhile, the pre-production of several films, such as Marvel’s Blade, has also come to an end. However, it appears as though the AMPTP is settling in for a long strike. Unconfirmed reports suggest that studio executives are booking yachts and European vacations to take advantage of the work stoppage. The WGA last went on strike in November 2007, remaining on strike until February 2008.

Pete Davidson Brings Pizza And Signs To the Picket Line

Pete Davidson saw his Saturday Night Live hosting spot canceled due to the strikes. However, Davidson is a union man through and through. He visited the picket outside the famous Silvercup Studios in Queens. One video posted to TikTok by a Davidson fan account includes audio of Davidson saying “no writers, no shows” to picketers. Photos also emerged of Davidson joining the picket, holding a sign that read “We want fair contracts now!” along with an illustration of a set of scales.

But picketing is also hungry work, especially when the studios have been paying you barely enough to live on. Davidson came around with a tower of pizza boxes to help keep the picketers going. In a similar move, Jay Leno brought donuts for picketers at Disney Studios in Burbank earlier in the week. The WGA strikes have received overwhelming support from actors and producers. Figures like Brett Goldstein, Quinta Brunson, JJ Abrams, and Mike Flanagan have all visited the picket lines. Donald Trump Offers Supporters His Half-Eaten Pizza

Donald Trump offered a crowd of his supporters a slice of pizza he already bit into at Downtown House of Pizza in Fort Meyers, Florida, on Friday night. CNN reporter Kate Sullivan posted a video of the interaction on Twitter afterward. Earlier in the day, Trump had attended the Lee County Republican Party’s Lincoln Reagan Dinner.

In the video from the event, the former president can be seen holding up a box of pepperoni pizza as the crowd chants his name. “Does anybody want a piece that I’ve eaten?” Trump asks at one point. The crowd yells back “No!” in unison as Trump laughs. The clip has been going viral on social media over the weekend.

The pizza incident comes after Trump fired off an email attacking Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis earlier in the night. Trump remarked that Florida is “among the worst states” to live, die, pay taxes, and “be safe”, among other complaints. Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung added: “The real DeSantis record is one of misery and despair. He has left a wake of destruction all across Florida and people are hurting because he has spent more time playing public relations games instead of actually doing the hard-work needed to improve the lives of the people he represents.”

The email is just the latest in a number of attacks Trump has made at DeSantis as the 2024 campaign heats up. Earlier this month, a pro-Trump super PAC launched an ad targeting DeSantis’ “pudding fingers,” referencing a story of a time he allegedly ate pudding without a spoon. “Ron DeSantis loves sticking his fingers where they don’t belong. And we’re not just talking about pudding,” the ad reads. “DeSantis has his dirty fingers all over senior entitlements, like cutting Medicare, slashing Social Security, and even raising our retirement age.” In addition to the ad airing on CNN and Fox, the Trump campaign also tweeted it out.

The couple stopped by the Brooklyn eatery, and it looked as if it was the Snowfall actor’s first time. He was filmed holding a slice of pizza loaded with toppings, forcing Idris to figure out how to hold it. As soon as he took the first bite, the actor made a production out of his reaction. This elicited laughs from his team and his girlfriend. The person filming explained that the slice was “sweet chili oxtail,” and Idris was clearly impressed. “Crazy! It’s unclear why the pair were in the city, but they’ve been enjoying their coast-to-coast lifestyle. The British actor seemingly went all out last month for Valentine’s Day, although they kept it a secret where they were celebrating. Noted Pizza Loyalist Lil Yachty Launches Yachty’s Pizzeria, His Own Frozen Pizza Line

Following a year of fast food partnerships with rappers, including Saweetie at McDonald’s, Jack Harlow at KFC, and Megan Thee Stallion at Popeye’s, it appears grocery partnerships are the new wave: Lil Yachty has officially launched Yachty’s Pizzeria, a line-up of frozen pizzas now available in Walmart stores.

Yachty’s Pizzeria comes in four different flavors, including buffalo-style chicken, hot honey cheese, pepperoni and bacon, and veggie supreme.

In an interview with Complex, Yachty shared how his pizza brand, which comes in partnership with Deep Cuts, came to be.

“The fact is bro, I really love pizza,” Yachty said. “It’s really my favorite food, especially frozen pizza. So, it’s been something I’ve been saying for years. It became more serious within the last year-and-a-half.”

While many artists have executed some of their ideas outside of music during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Yachty said this is something he has wanted to do since the beginning of his career. “I just added a new manager to my team who made it happen,” he said.

Yachty once said he had eaten pizza every day since the second grade, although now, he says his pizza-eating habits are “not as hardcore” these days.

Elsewhere in the interview, Yachty reiterated the importance of partnering with brands that reflect an artist’s values and how they can expand their cash flow beyond music.

“I mean, [brand partnership is] extremely important if that’s what you care about,” Yachty said. “For some people, that may not be what they’re here for. If you care to become this public figure and be on a cereal box, or a f*cking lotion bottle, or you want a cologne company, whatever it is, then yes, expanding your brand is so important.”
