Cardi B Claps Back At Postpartum Plastic Surgery Rumors (Yet Again) Following The Birth Of Her Third Child

Back in September, Cardi B announced the birth of her third child with estranged husband Offset. Shortly after, Cardi B hit the gym before dominating 2024 Paris Fashion Week.

Many supporters praised Cardi B for her unbelievable postpartum transformation. However, others began to allege that the Grammy winner’s curvy figure was due to her undergoing new cosmetic procedures. Today (October 5), Cardi B clapped back at the postpartum plastic surgery rumors.

Over on X (formerly Twitter), Cardi B slammed a troll for body-shaming her after she uploaded a video online. “Y’all really need to relax,” she wrote. “This is how my body REALLY LOOKS LIKE. My body looks exaggerated in the other video cause I have a 5X faja on. I want y’all to think with y’all brain. Y’all were just praising my body couple days ago. Do y’all think I went and got surgery in 2 days?”

Cardi B’s love for fajas (body-shaping garments) is the latest viral TikTok sound. While discussing her post-delivery plans, Cardi B laughed about how her younger sister, Hennessy Carolina, would be responsible for placing the garment on her moments after delivery.

Sadly, this isn’t the first time Cardi B has pushed back against the same accusation. After the birth of her son Wave in 2021, the “Like What” rapper slammed users online for suggesting she sneakily went under the knife. While, Cardi B has been opened about her past surgical work she insists her physique has nothing to do with a recent procedure.

Other celebrities including Beyoncé, Rihanna, and Kash Doll have all in some way addressed the pressure placed on women entertainers to quickly “snapback” to their former figure after giving birth.

Takeoff’s Brother Checks Offset For Mentioning His “Twin” In Twitter Rant

It has been a roller coaster week for Offset. The Migos rapper started things off strong, securing his first ever Diamond plaque for his appearance on Tyga’s “Taste.” The same day he got his plaque, though, his ex, Cardi B exploded on social media. She took to Instagram to air out their personal issues. They hurled insults at each other in the comment section. At one point, Cardi even posted screenshots of NSFW texts between her and Offset. It was a lot. And it kept going the next day.

Offset fired off a few angry tweets on Thursday morning. One of them alluded to the fact that he should have heeded the advice of those around him. Presumably, with regards to his relationship with Cardi B. “Listen to your ppl take and the bros TOld me,” he wrote. It seemed harmless enough. Offset wound up sparking another social media confrontation, though. YRN Lingo, the younger brother of Migos rapper Takeoff, didn’t like what Offset had to say. He called out Offset for alluding to Takeoff, and told him to think twice before involving the late rapper in personal drama.

YRN Lingo Urged Offset To Let His Brother Rest

“My brother ain’t tell him sh*t,” YRN Lingo wrote on Instagram. “Let my twin rest.” The comment makes sense when considering the strained relationship Offset had with Takeoff at the time of his death. They had a falling out around 2022, which led to the dissolution of Migos. Offset went solo, and Takeoff and Quavo started recording as a duo. It’s worth noting that Offset was not related to the other members of Migos. Takeoff avoided talking about the split during interviews, but Quavo made it clear that they were not close with the third member following the split.

“I just feel like we want to see our career as a duo,” Quavo told Revolt TV in 2022. He also threw shade at the lack of family ties between them and Offset. “We just came from a loyal family,” the rapper asserted. “Sh*t that’s supposed to stick together. And sometimes, when sh*t don’t work out, it ain’t meant to be.” Despite their falling out, Offset admitted that Takeoff’s death emotionally affected him. “That sh*t hurts,” he told Variety in 2023. “Some things I don’t never tell nobody. He’s not here.” We hope the Migos rapper catches a break in the near future. Maybe he should take a break from social media.

Cardi B and Offset had an eye-opening night online yesterday (September 25).

As HotNewHipHop notes, Cardi took to Instagram Live to vent about Offset, who she called “lame.” She accused Offset of trying to hurt her feelings by calling on FaceTime to show her women he’s been “f*cking or talking to.”

Offset caught wind of this and he wrote in a comment on the broadcast, “U f*cked with a baby inside tell the truth !!”

Cardi also said, “I find it funny that n****s think that they can f*ck on anything. But when I start talking to n****s, you wanna threaten me with taking sh*t that I f*cking worked my ass off for.”

Offset later commented, “Everybody can see I don’t want you ! It’s ok I’m not talking bout this Nomo all love u will be calling me after couple months u my bm I won [crying-laughing emoji].”

Then, Cardi decided to share some alleged texts between her and Offset. The band-and-forth goes like this, with Offset going first: “U don’t want me?” “Not really.” “Ok. U want somebody else?” “Offset and please.” “Ok I’ll leave you alone.” “Please have a goodnight.” “I just wanted to know.” In an additional message from later on, Offset asked, “Can I jack off with you on the phone?”

This all comes shortly after Cardi gave birth to her third child, and Offset was there getting some skin-to-skin time with the baby.

Cardi B Leaks NSFW Text Messages With Offset Amidst IG Meltdown

The back-and-forth keeps getting worse. Cardi B and Offset spent the entirety of Wednesday evening tearing each other down on social media. The rappers/former spouses laid into each other about their respective infidelities. Offset accused Cardi B of cheating on him while she was pregnant with his kid, while the latter accused him of being a hypocrite due to his own cheating. Cardi B went on multiple IG Live rants throughout the night. Then, she resorted to posting text messages on her timeline.

There’s some context needed for the text messages to really click. Cardi B dismissed Offset’s casual attitude towards her by claiming he texts her nonstop. She got specific with this claim. So specific, in fact, she detailed an instance in which she was tried to block Offset on Instagram. “Coming from the same one that had to DM me all weekend,” she wrote. “Crashing out because he was blocked.” This caused Offset to fire back. The Migos rapper claimed that he doesn’t want anything to do with her. He also stated that he already “won” the argument because Cardi B is his “bm,” or baby mama.

Cardi B Posted Sexually Explicit Screenshots

Cardi B didn’t like that, apparently. She decided to up the ante and post text messages between her and Offset. The dates aren’t given, but the exchange does appear to support Cardi’s side of the story. Offset asks the rapper whether she still wants him. “Not really,” Cardi says in response. Offset then states that he will leave her alone before wishing her a good night. A period of time passes, and Offset seemingly takes a more blunt approach. In a NSFW exchange, the Migos rapper appears to ask Cardi B if he can “j*ck off” while she’s on the phone.

Cardi posted the screenshot while mockingly quoting Offset’s earlier insult. “Everybody can see I don’t want you,” she wrote. “Face a*s boy please.” It’s difficult to imagine this Instagram confrontation lasting much longer. Cardi and Offset have shown that they’re willing to embarrass the other person in front of fans. That said, this is a new level of sharing or rather, over-sharing. Hopefully the co-parents decide to set their differences aside. At this point in the feud, neither Cardi nor Offset appear the victor.

The tea continues to spill on Wednesday night. Cardi B and Offset have had a troubled romance over the years. They’ve publicly attacked each other and made up many times over. That said, September 25 was a particularly nasty airing out of dirty laundry. Cardi B took to Instagram Live to blast Offset for trying to take away her things. She went as far as to claim that she will be seeing her former spouse in court. The messiness continued, however, even after Cardi hopped off IG Live.

Offset decided to fire shots at Cardi B in the Instagram comment section. He alluded to the fact that the rapper has a relationship on the side. “Don’t you got a n**ga,” he wrote. “Ain’t we divorced.” Cardi B did not let the comment slide, though. She proceeded to respond to Offset’s comment within minutes, and took the gloves off. “Coming from the same one that had to DM me all weekend crashing out because he was blocked,” she wrote. Cardi B then vowed to stop talking about Offset, noting that she no longer has feelings for the father of her child. “It will be the last time talking about his lame a*s.”

Cardi B Claims She Blocked Offset On Instagram

The whole social media meltdown happened faster than outlets could report on it. DJ Akademiks took screenshots of the comments and posted them on his Instagram account. Then, minutes later, Offset posted another comment on Ak’s post. “Everybody can see I don’t want you,” the Migos rapper noted. “It’s ok I’m not talking bout this Nomo all love.” Offset decided to rub salt in the wound by claiming that Cardi B will be contacting him in the near future. “U will be calling me after couple months,” he added. “U my bm I won.” The last sentence came with a laughing emoji.

Not enough drama? Don’t worry, Cardi B hopped BACK on Instagram Live to address Offset’s comment. She restated that she didn’t care what the Migos rapper got up to. She also claimed that he was blowing up her phone despite being out and cheating on her with multiple women. These accusations come right on the heels of Offset’s claim that Cardi B cheated on him while pregnant with their child. We’d say that there’s more to come, but you already know there will be. Strap in, it’s going to be a messy one.

Cardi B Threatens To Take Offset To Court In Scathing Instagram Rant

Cardi B wanted all of the smoke on September 25. The rapper took to Instagram Live and let loose a stream of claims about her husband, Offset. Cardi accused the Migos superstar of threatening to take away the gifts that he’d previously bought her. The rapper dismissed these threats as stemming from Offset’s insecurity, and proceeded to threaten him back with a lawsuit. “Now we going to court,” she announced. “Court war, right?”

Cardi B did not appreciate Offset’s alleged behavior in the months leading up to this explosive rant. She aired out all of the dirty laundry between her and the father of her child. “A n**ga think that they can just buy a b**ch,” she explained. “I love me sh*t but you can’t buy me.” Cardi then flipped the script on Offset and accused the Migos rapper of being a hypocrite. “I find it funny that n**gas think that they can f**k on anything,” she asserted. “But when I start talking to n**gas you wanna threaten me with taking sh*t that I f**king worked my a*s off for.”

Cardi B Claims That She Earned All Her Belongings

The frustration in Cardi B’s voice became more evident as the IG Live wore on. She made it clear to both Offset and the people watching that she wants to move on from her relationship. She’d prefer it if Offset did the same. “You wanna play those games with me,” she asked her spouse. “Since you wanna threaten me, talking about you wanna take my sh*t cuse I wanna move on? Move on.” Cardi twisted the knife one more time by reminding Offset of his infidelity in the past. “It’s no fun when momma got the gun, right,” she posited.

To be fair, both parties seem to have made missteps. At least, if the claims by Cardi B and Offset are to be believed. While the former was going nuclear on Instagram Live, Offset went into the comments and accused her of cheating. Worse still, the Migos rapper claimed that Cardi slept with another man while she was pregnant with his child. “U f**ked with a baby inside tell the truth,” he wrote on the screen. It’s going to be a messy break up for the two rap stars. Especially if Cardi’s claims about going to court are true.

Cardi B Slams A Lawsuit That Alleged Her And Offset Didn’t Pay For Use Of A Mansion Featured In Their ‘Like That’ Music Video

Last week, Cardi B announced the arrival of her third child with estranged husband Offset. Unfortunately, their celebration of this joyous occasion has been interrupted by litigation.

According to TMZ, both Cardi B and Offset are being sued in connection with the “Like That (Freestyle)” music video. In the court documents obtained by the outlet, the owner of the Beverly Hills, California mansion featured in the visual accused the pair of not paying the rental fee.

However, shortly after the exclusive report was published Cardi B slammed the nonpayment allegation. In a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter), Cardi shared receipts (viewable here) to the contrary including a conversation with Offset (the video’s director) about the rental fee and a screenshot of $4,500 payment on March 13.

“We paid those people $10,000 IN CASH to rent the property for a whole 24 hours that same day 6 am to 6 am the next morning,” she wrote. “We went over by ONE hour which we paid overage fees to the realtor for in March. There were cameras all over and both the realtors and the owners were there the ENTIRE time. I got pics and videos of them on set!”

Cardi then addressed the claim that her team lied about their intended use of the space, writing: “Now they wanna finesse us trying to say we told them it was a TikTok video when that was nowhere in the contract and like they didn’t hear the whole song playing and see how long we were shooting. Why would it take us 24 hours to shoot a TikTok? The problem is people wanna find loopholes and get over but IRON YOUR BEST SUIT B*TCH I’ll see you in court!!!!”

The evidence Cardi B posted alleged that they agreed to a $10,000 rental fee with an additional $500 cleaning charge.

The property’s own is seeking $35,000 in damages.
