The “Beep Beep” rapper kicked the extensive globe run-off yesterday (March 2) in Oakland, California. Thanks to the devoted Barbs (Minaj’s super fans), we’ve been able to share the setlist and in-person merch pricing with you. Still, there are a number of elements the world is waiting to learn about the tour.

Atop the list is, who will do the honors of opening for the record-setting musician? We can’t confirm that quite yet. But according to a note shared on Setlist.fm, we can semi-confirm when the run of show. Continue below the set time details, remaining tour date schedule, and official tour poster.

What Time Does Nicki Minaj Go On Stage For ‘Pink Friday 2 World Tour?’

Concertgoers have reported that for opening night, doors to the venue opened at 7 p.m. local time. By 9:40 p.m., Nicki Minaj takes the stage to begin the show officially. Minaj’s set reportedly runs until midnight. It is safe to assume that this schedule will remain consistent across the remaining dates for each venue without a curfew.

It is important to note that Minaj takes a break after Act V of her set. At this time, Monica takes the stage for a thirty-minute performance, according to Setlist.fm.

Yesterday (March 1), Nicki Minaj kicked off her Pink Friday 2 World Tour in Oakland, California. Thanks to attendees, we now know the working setlist expected to continue across the remaining 55-dates. But users online also shared another important element of the global performance—the merch.

For those looking to take something home with them to commemorate the show, you are in luck. At the Pink Friday 2 World Tour merchandise table, concertgoers have their choice of memorabilia. According to a photograph shared online, these items include the ‘Gag City Passport Card’ ($10), ‘Pink Friday 2 Fuzzy Pack’ ($20), ‘Pink Friday 2 Black Cap’ ($30), and Pink Friday 2 vinyl album ($40).

Short sleeve t-shirts include the ‘Gag City World Tour,’ ‘Beep Beep,’ and ‘Nicki Minaj portrait’ for $45. The long-sleeved t-shirts include ‘Gag City’ in pink and ‘Gag City’ in black, both for $75.

In addition to the items being sold in-person at each tour stop, Minaj does have other limited edition piecefor sale on her website. Nicki Minaj officially kicked off her Pink Friday 2 tour on Friday (March 1) in Oakland, California, and fans couldn’t be happier with the results. Moreover, the Barbz took to social media to share not just their hype for the trek, but in the case of those who attended, some high praise. For example, many folks remarked on the extensive and versatile setlist, whereas others lauded the production design, outfit changes, Monica’s mid-show slot, and much more. Most importantly, though, die-hards are very happy to see the Trinidadian MC’s excited and engaged energy during this first show, and hope it continues for the rest of the journey.

Moreover, Planned Parenthood of Greater New York recently announced that they would give her the organization’s honor as an entrepreneur and social influence in the entertainment world. It’s unclear in which form the nonprofit will manifest this honor; a plaque, a ceremony, or something else? Regardless, Nike’s newest collaborator receives the praise for being an “extraordinary advocate” through her “music and performances [which] have shined a light on women’s empowerment, mental health and social justice.”

“An outspoken advocate for women’s rights and Planned Parenthood, Megan has used her global platform to draw attention to the organization’s mission and work,” Planned Parenthood’s statement continued. “She also launched The Pete and Thomas Foundation, a nonprofit organization focused on uplifting and assisting women, children, senior citizens, and underserved communities in Houston, Texas and across the world.” However, Nicki Minaj fans took significant issue with this given their beef. As a result, the rap queen has found herself entangled in some of the most memorable clashes in recent memory. 

Surprisingly, some of these explosive confrontations have contributed in defining her journey. Many of these feuds are iconic in their different ways. Additionally, many fans think they showcase the rapper’s resilience and willingness to stand against adversity. Consequently, the Barbz double down in their support of their queen every time a new Nicki Minaj beef comes up and she has participated in many throughout her career. On October 13, 2022, Nicki Minaj took to Twitter to rant about feeling slighted. Earlier, it had been revealed that her smash hit, “Super Freaky Girl” would not be considered in the rap categories at the Grammys. Contrarily, Latto’s “Big Energy” was being regarded as a rap song, and Nicki thought that was unfair. While trying to make her point and defend her song’s designated genre, she brought Latto into the fold. When Latto logged onto Twitter later that day, she tweeted an indirect response to Nicki. At the 2015 VMAs, Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda” was not nominated for Video of the Year. However, she did win the VMA for Best Hip Hop Video. She famously ended her acceptance speech with a verbal jab at Cyrus. “Back to this bit*h that had a lot to say about me the other day in the press. Miley, what’s good?” she asked. While the tension slowly fizzled out over the next couple of years, Cyrus’s “Cattitude” (2019) stirred up trouble again. Since then, their relationship has not been the same.

During the Hot 97 Summer Jam in 2012, Peter Rosenberg effectively instigated the beef between himself and Nicki Minaj. It reached its peak in 2017 and involved diss tracks, social media jabs, and public accusations. The feud significantly intensified in 2017 when Remy Ma dropped “ShETHER” and quickly followed it with “Another One.” Subsequently, Nicki Minaj responded with her own diss track, “No Frauds” featuring Drake and Lil Wayne. Despite the intense back-and-forth, the feud eventually cooled off over the years.

Megan Thee Stallion

Arguably, the most talked about beef in Hip Hop right now is the one involving Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion. Although their relationship started out pretty great, it has deteriorated over time. Fans believe they are at a point of no return, and that there’ll never be any reconciliation between the two. While their feud has been simmering for a while, it reached its boiling point in January 2024 when Megan released “Hiss.” In response to the popular diss track, Nicki dropped “Big Foot.” Many nasty things have been said, and it’s too early to conclude that the coast is clear. Either of the two femcees just might drop another diss track.

The beef between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B is certainly one for the books, and will probably always be remembered. Without a doubt, it is one of the most high-profile and publicized rivalries in Hip Hop history. It began to escalate in 2017 and reached its peak in 2018 with a physical altercation at a New York Fashion Week event. Since then, both rappers have continued to throw shade at each other through their music and otherwise. While things are calmer between them these days, Nicki Minaj and Cardi B are certainly not friends.

After a chaotic few weeks in the world of female rap, Nicki Minaj has finally stopped lashing out at Megan Thee Stallion. The Houston native’s “HISS” track left the Queen of Rap in her feelings, specifically over a bar about Megan’s Law that seemed to be a direct shot at her husband, Kenneth Petty. For the most part, the Hotties and the Barbz have reduced the number of shots being thrown at one another, though the latter came rushing to Minaj’s defense, insisting legal action be taken after a fake Live Nation announcement surfaced online earlier this week.

“Disclaimer: Please be advised that in accordance with California state regulations, we are obligated to disclose the presence of a level three sex offender backstage,” the screenshot states. “Mr. Kenneth Petty will be present. Attendees under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or older. Identification will be verified prior to entry through the metal detectors. We kindly request that attendees refrain from engaging with the aforementioned individual.”

Nicki Minaj Opps Target Her Husband, Kenneth Petty

The doctored notice also says that “Individuals under the age of 18 will be mandated to wear a distinctive pink neon vest labelled “CHILD UNDER 18″ and will be directed to a designated pit area reserved exclusively for minors. Security personnel will be stationed in close proximity to ensure their safety and well-being throughout the event.” So far, Minaj doesn’t seem to be responding to the petty antics, but if they continue, we can almost guarantee she won’t keep quiet.

Haters are making it hard for Nicki Minaj to focus solely on putting the final touches on her Pink Friday 2 Gag City Tour ahead of its March 1st debut. Nicki Minaj is a Big Fan of Rihanna

On her Twitter/X profile, Papa Bear’s mom only had more love to give her longtime friend. “There’s only one holiday in #GagCity and that’s #QUEENRih birthday,” Minaj tweeted. “Dear Rih, Thank you. Love always, – an immigrant,” she added, referencing their shared bond of originally hailing from outside of America. It’s unclear if they have plans to collaborate again in the future, but the Barbz would surely like to see it.

Rihanna’s Navy was happy to help her celebrate her 36th birthday this week, and they’ve only grown more enthused since her beau, ASAP Rocky, confirmed that a new album is on the way.
