Yung Miami Shares That Her Experience With Domestic Violence Did Not Relate To Diddy

Yung Miami’s Season 2 premiere of the Caresha Please podcast wasn’t the only outlet through which she broke her silence on her former boo Diddy’s allegations. Moreover, she also spoke to PEOPLE about their relationship, why it ended, why she remained quiet on his various lawsuits and alleged victims, and how she wants to reckon with that reality today. For example, the former City Girl said that she felt “deeply hurt and shocked after watching the video” of the Bad Boy mogul assaulting Cassie in a hotel room. “That was not my experience at all,” she added before clarifying that her experiences with abuse, domestic violence, or just generally toxic relationships have nothing to do with Sean Combs.

“I’ve been in a toxic relationship before when I was younger,” Yung Miami told the outlet. “In high school, my early 20s, and they’re not healthy. They’re not fun. It’s just I’ve been there, done that, and that’s somewhere I would never want to put myself. Now, being 30 with two kids, that’s something I don’t condone or tolerate, something that I grew from. That’s why I say that wasn’t my experience with him, because I wouldn’t even put up with that [again].”

Yung Miami Speaking On Diddy

“I can’t speak on something that wasn’t my experience, and I can’t speak on something that I don’t know,” Yung Miami told Saucy Santana on Caresha Please. “I can’t speak on these allegations. Because I wasn’t around at the time. I don’t know that person, and that wasn’t my experience. People feel like I was Diddy’s biggest cheerleader and I made him my brand. And I feel like Diddy was on brand for me.

“I met him when he was in another era,” Yung Miami added. “I met Diddy when the world was celebrating him and giving him his flowers when he was alive. He was getting the Global Icon Award, the lifetime achievement award, the key to the city. He had a new album that was coming out, so I was celebrating him with the world. And I just feel like everybody’s trying to crucify me for it. I was just celebrating when the world was celebrating him, so why am I being crucified, or why am I being separated?”

Lil Reese went through a bit of a legal rollercoaster as of late, as authorities arrested him in Los Angeles after a woman accused him of sexual assault at a hotel. Boosie Badazz revealed the news to his social media followers, even though back then, we still didn’t know the circumstances behind the situation. However, it seems like Reese is starting to get past this situation, as he posted evidence of the court dismissing his case and joked about getting the money that his accuser allegedly stole from him back so he can make up his bond payment. While little details exist of the incident and the legal steps to follow, he’s feeling himself and blasting the media for misrepresenting this development.

Even though it’s only been in our hands for a couple of hours, though, fans were quick to compile and break down all the spiciest moments from the bombastic tracklist. Moreover, in their research, fans found some potential subtle (and not-so-subtle) disses against the likes of Ice Spice, Nicki Minaj, and Coi Leray. Of course, it’s important to note these aren’t explicit enough shots to really cause an uproar in “Like That” fashion, and that they could be about other rappers or just the rap game in general. So, take this speculation with a grain of salt, but the Atlanta femcee surely came through with some fiery lines either way.

For example, there’s “Settle Down” and Latto’s dismissive remarks about an unnamed rapper. “Got these b***hes waiting for me to drop / Know they probably waiting on me to flop / You was just a fan before you popped / I don’t even know you, how we opps?… Thousand-dollar steak and a b***h think we gon’ beef for free? / Lap dog better not think she getting off the leash with me.”

In general, ¥$ have been feeding fans past recordings from older albums so far during this trilogy. But the second installment is living up to that even more so. Last night, the controversial duo dropped three new songs in the forms of “BELIEVER”, “DRUNK”, with Peso Pluma and Kodak Black, and “GUN TO MY HEAD” with Kid Cudi. But Kanye West wanted to treat his most loyal supporters with the official release “CAN U BE”.

This track is perhaps the most sought after of the bunch, as it was recorded during The Life Of Pablo sessions. It used to be referred to as “Pressure”, which you can find on Soundcloud and YouTube. This updated rendition clocks in at around 2:30 minutes and now includes an additional verse from Ty Dolla $ign. The track famously incorporates a flip of Marvin Gaye and Diana Ross’s “Stop, Look, Listen (to Your Heart)”, perhaps just another reason why this track was highly requested.

Fans Buy Out “CAN U BE” Deluxe Version Of Kanye & Ty’s VULTURES 2

Genius, as usual, as some pretty interesting facts about “CAN U BE”. In their annotation, they share that this is a song that Kanye West was not a big fan of. Because of this, he stopped working on in it in 2017. However, his fans, as we have stated, have adored this record since it was first leaked. That brings us to our next interesting tidbit. The leaking community valued this track so highly that they tried to put it up for auction. Interestingly, it would take quite a bid of time before bidders got involved. Eventually, it would be sold for an alleged sticker price of $25,000 and the files would be released to the public in May of this year. Finally, “CAN U BE” is a fan given name, thanks to Ye’s repetitive chorus.

So, there is some speculation that fans released this and not Ye. It did make into onto streaming platforms briefly before being taken down and included on the YEEZY.com site for $5.00.
