Joe Budden’s Criticism Is What Made Drake Drop “Scary Hours 3,” Fans Theorize

Drake’s upcoming EP Scary Hours 3, which drops tomorrow (Friday, November 17), has fans pretty excited. Even though he said that he’s taking a break from music after the release of For All The Dogs and his It’s All A Blur tour with 21 S*vage this year, it seems like this is potentially the last gas left in the tank for him in 2023. Of course, Drizzy could prove us wrong with some more drops or activity in the future, just as he did with his announcement of the Big As The What? tour with J. Cole. However, some fans believe that there’s a thorn in his side that is what actually compelled him to drop Scary Hours 3, and that’s Joe Budden.

Moreover, a lot of fans took to social media to “thank” the rapper for supposedly prompting Drake to put out more material. This is because Joe Budden’s criticism of For All The Dogs and its artist in general really rubbed the Toronto native the wrong way. Most likely, this idea centers around the OVO mogul wanting to prove the Slaughterhouse MC wrong with more solid bar-writing, straight-up hip-hop tracks, and probably a few subliminal or direct disses here and there. Other fans who subscribe to this theory, though, are just excited to see whether the former Everyday Struggle host rips into this project, too.

Fans Think Joe Budden Pressured Drake Into Dropping New Music

Of course, this is all purely speculative and probably just a meme or head-canon moment for most people. However, since Drake said that he wrote this material in a very raw way directly after For All The Dogs dropped, it’s clear that Joe Budden is a big story and moment in his recent life that will likely inform this collection of tracks. Even if this is just a joke or doesn’t turn out to be as obvious on Scary Hours 3, it’s going to be hard not to keep Budden in the back of your head while listening. Nevertheless, check out more hilarious reactions to this announcement and its proximity to the media personality down below.

More Fan Reactions

Meanwhile, the podcaster isn’t really looking forward to Scary Hours 3, and probably won’t be talking about it at all. Maybe some disses his way will have to change that, but it’s clear that he’s taking the high road on this one. So, are the fans right or is there going to be completely new or unrelated subject matter on this EP? Let us know your predictions in the comments and stick around on HNHH for more news and updates on Drake and Joe Budden.

Reginae Carter Shares Tearful Response To Online Pressure: “I’m Still Learning”

In a recent video, Reginae Carter describes ongoing pressure that she feels the world puts on the younger generation. She gets emotional in the clip, revealing that she’d appreciate if people just gave her a break. Carter goes on to describe growing up in the public eye, revealing that at age 24, she is still growing and evolving.

“Growing up, I feel like you guys have seen me in different lights,” she begins. “I never hid myself. I never hid who I am. I’ve always stayed true to myself.” Carter reflects, “You guys [have] seen me grow up. You guys have seen me clap back, you’ve seen the ‘spoiled brat’ side, you’ve seen all of this. I want y’all to give me some grace and to understand that I am learning, I am only 24-years-old.” She gets emotional, saying, “Child… I’m strong as hell, but like, sometimes this world puts too much on … the younger generation. We put too much on ourselves.” “We want to be the biggest and have the most money and be all figured out in our 20s. It’s just not gonna happen, it don’t go like that,” she explains. She then went on to describe facing judgment from people older than her and suggests that people need to start helping one another and providing guidance instead of judgement.

Reginae Carter Says The World Puts Too Much On Young People

Last month, Carter took to social media to reveal that she had been the victim of a home invasion. “Two guys tried to break in my home last night. So Glad I wasn’t there. people are sick! This is my sign to get Tf out of here, and to be more private and more to myself about everything,” she wrote on Twitter. She later shared that her boyfriend at the time, Armon Warren, didn’t check on her following the incident and instead made a YouTube video about it.

“When I see so many females bashing me because I go on Instagram and Twitter and I’m filled with emotions, and everybody does it, our generation we grew up on that…but I can’t do it cause I’m Reginae Carter…and if I do it I’m bashing somebody,” she went on to explain, “That’s not the case. I love very hard and I’m very genuine and something really big happened to me and the person who I love did not check on me, but he made a YouTube video, so yes I do feel like that’s a little clout chasing.” YK Osiris took the opportunity to shoot his shot, again, and threatened to “slap the sh*t out of” Warren.

Machine Gun Kelly Goes Back To Rapping With New Track “Pressure”

If you have been paying attention to the career of Machine Gun Kelly, then you know that he has been on a completely different wave as of late. Although he began his career as a rapper, he quickly pivoted to pop punk. In fact, his pop-punk music became incredibly popular. While rock purists hate him, MGK has millions of fans who don’t care for the critics. Overall, this style has brought him a lot of professional success. This has included a ton of record sales and some massive sold-out shows.

However, over the last couple of months, Machine Gun Kelly has hinted at a return to rap. For instance, he has done some freestyles, including one with Cordae. Subsequently, he has just dropped a brand-new song called “Pressure.” Upon pressing play on this track, you will immediately realize that MGK is making an official return to hip-hop. Fans are immediately met with some intense production, all while Machine Gun Kelly spits a plethora of bars.

Rapping Machine Gun Kelly Has Returned

Sonically, MGK tries to do as much as possible within the four minutes and 20 seconds time span. There are numerous beat switches and a flurry of bars that are spat using a fast flow. This is the MGK that fans were used to prior to his switch to pop-punk. Although, if you got into him through pop-punk, then this song will be polarizing.

Moving forward, it is going to be interesting to see if MGK continues to go down this road. Of course, he always has pop-punk to fall back on if fans don’t appreciate his return to rap. No matter what, 2023 will be an interesting year for him. Let us know your thoughts on this track, down in the comments section below.

Quotable Lyrics:

I know how to make an entrance, I hop out the truck in a fur with some henchmen (Hmph)
You can skip the introduction, I’m introverted, I don’t want your attention (Eh)
Stand on whatеver I say, I’ll say it to your face, I don’t do it in mentions (For rеal)
I believe God had put me through hell so that I could learn me a lesson
