Texas Rapper Big Jade Cuts Straight To The Point In Her No-Nonsense Video For ‘I’ll Tell You What’

Texas’ own Big Jade has been moving up in the hip-hop world. She recently released Pressure, whose track “I’ll Tell You What” now has a new video. It finds her posted up outside a store with a few of her friends while she delivers sharp raps. “A lot of h*es not in their bag, they’re in their bed, these b*tches lazy,” she proclaims. “Gotta watch your circle, everybody ain’t happy for you, n****s’ shady.”

It’s a highlight of Pressure, which boasts head-knocking production by BeatKing and guest appearances from fellow Texans OMB Bloodbath, Queendom Come, and more. Big Jade had began catching attention long before the album’s arrival, including joining Erica Banks in their eye-catching video for “Dem Girlz.” Jade also impressed with a number of freestyles and singles that include “Gucci Bag,” “Bonnet Freestyle,” “No Hook,” and “Groupies, all of which appeared in Uproxx’s weekly “Best New Hip-Hop This Week” column.

While Dallas’ Erica Banks is swiftly following in Meg’s footsteps thanks to the viral “Buss It” challenge utilizing her breakout single, another Texas rapper has been building a buzz with the support of local impresario BeatKing and a string of impressive freestyles and self-released bangers. Big Jade, who previously released the eye-catching “Dem Girlz” video featuring Erica Banks, dropped her debut album Pressure today, and it’s well worth giving it a spin (or a stream, I guess).

Erica Banks Joins Fellow Texans Big Jade And Beatking To Celebrate ‘Dem Girlz’ In Their New Video

The Lone Star State is truly having a moment right now. With Megan Thee Stallion taking a break from her reign at the forefront of pop culture, fans hungry for more of her Texas twang have plenty of options thanks to Big Jade and Erica Banks. The two rappers link up in the video for Jade’s new single “Dem Girlz” featuring Beatking to champion around-the-way girls over a chopped-and-screwed sample of David Banner’s 2003 hit “Like A Pimp.” The celebratory video sees the trio surrounded by lowriders at a car meet, a Houston, Texas staple.

The song will appear on Big Jade’s upcoming debut album, Pressure, set for release soon from Alamo Records. Like its latest single, Pressure will be a showcase of Texas talent, with appearances from DJ Chose, OMB Bloodbath, and Houston legend Slim Thug. Jade’s been promoting the upcoming album through a series of freestyles and music videos for songs like “Gucci Bag” and “No Hook,” but will surely receive even more attention thanks to Erica Banks’ appearance. Banks’ song “Buss It” was recently a viral hit thanks to the TikTok “Buss It Challenge” that saw the song jump from regional banger to the Billboard charts.
