Taylor Swift Slyly Tweaks Song Off “Tortured Poets Department” To Diss Kanye West

As almost every music fan is aware of by now, Kanye West and Taylor Swift have a great disdain for one another. Of course, it started all the way back at the 2009 VMAs with the infamous award acceptance interruption. It then continued into the 2010s decade when Ye blasted the pop phenom on The Life Of Pablo via the track “Famous”. “For all my Southside n****s that know me best / I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that b**** famous (Goddamn) / I made that b**** famous“. Now, their beef is not as intense these days, but still there nonetheless in the 2020s.

Case and point, a song title change to a track off Taylor’s THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT seems to subtly fire back at Kanye. According to an article from Just Jared, along with some help of the Swifties, “thanK you aIMee” looks to be the song. This stylization is for Ye’s ex, Kim Kardashian whom the hitmaker has had issues with as well over the years. The way you can tell is because all of the letters in Kim’s first name are in upper case. If you listen to the track, there are even more hints that the entrepreneur is in Swift’s sights.

Taylor Swift & Kanye West Continue To Go At Each Other

However, this recent update is now shown as “thank You aimEe”, highlighting his apparently new name, “Ye”. Besides this tweak, this spelling is also signifying a new special rendition of the original song. You can only see this when you purchase a new digital version of the album which includes a live performance of “thanK you aIMee” in London. It’s on Taylor’s website for $4.99 until midnight. Perhaps the reason for her doing this is because of her album still remaining in the top spot this week on the Billboard Hot 200 after Ye and Ty Dolla $ign’s VULTURES 2 undersold hers, even in their first week of it being on the charts.

What are your thoughts on Taylor Swift changing the spelling of “thanK you aIMee” to “thank You aimEe” to diss Kanye West? Do you think she actually made this correction to do so following the recent sales numbers? Were you able to catch this? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Usher Unveils Why He Had To Postpone His Early Tour Stops

USHER had fans in an uproar yesterday over his surprise postponement of the inaugural show for his Past Present Future tour. He did so just hours before he was supposed to hit the stage in Atlanta, Georgia. The R&B superstar sent a few painful paragraphs to explain the reason for this. “For my 30-plus year career, 100% of my blood, sweat and tears has gone into putting on the best performance and creating a memorable experience for my fans. I have every intention of doing that for this tour as well. Which is why I have to postpone tonight’s show and reschedule it for a later date to give my body a second to rest and heal”.

People were suspecting that he was referring to all of his previous gigs such as the Super Bowl, his Las Vegas, Nevada residency, and etc. This had some fans understanding where he was coming from, especially since they recognize how much work he puts into his shows. Still, though, others felt blindsided. But it seems we now have specifics. According to a report from Bossip, USHER released yet another statement in which he revealed that he suffered a neck injury of sorts. “Earlier this week, I suffered an injury to my neck while rehearsing to provide my fans with the greatest USHER show of all time”, he began.

USHER Moves Tour Dates Around Following Neck Injury Announcement

“My hope was that with physical therapy and medical treatment, I would be able to overcome the injury and be ready for opening night. Unfortunately, the injury has not healed yet, and my doctors have instructed me not to perform any shows this week”. Thankfully, though, if he stays the course on the proper recovery track, he can hit the stage in Washington, D.C., Tuesday, August 20. Furthermore, the first three shows in Atlanta that were going to kick off the tour are rescheduled. The August 14 show will now be December 9. August 16 is being pushed back to December 10. Then, the performance on the 17 is going to take place on December 12.

What are your thoughts on USHER revealing that a neck injury was the reason for postponing the early Atlanta tour dates? Do you think the fans that were bashing him should apologize? How do you feel about the timing for the rescheduled shows? Are you planning on going to one of the performances? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Meek Mill Appears To Be Fine With Michael Rubin’s Controversial Black Culture Comments

Earlier today, The Breakfast Club brought Michael Rubin to their show. The CEO of Fanatics spoke about banning “Not Like Us” at his recent all-white Fourth of July bash, his friendship with Meek Mill, among other things. However, instead of it being just another interview, the episode has gone quite viral, and not in a good way. Additionally, Meek Mill’s name happened to be mixed into Michael Rubin’s controversial comments. Here’s is what the latter said that has stirred up debate: “Look, I’m just being blunt. It’s me, It’s the one thing I’ve learned about Black culture that I don’t like is that Black hate on hate”, he began.

Charlamagne tha God then asked him to explain what he means. Rubin then says, “I think there’s a little bit of Black culture where it’s Black hate on hate. It’s like that Black judge that Meek had, that hated on him and want to go extra hard on him. Okay. I, it’s what people always say to me. It’s like black hate on hate, so I think it’s terrible. It’s something that I think is culturally wrong and I’ll probably get killed for saying this”. During this discussion, he used his close friend Meek Mill to help make his point.

Meek Mill Shares His Thoughts On Michael Rubin

“When I see the narrative of a really good friend of mine like Meek, and people are trying to… Again, if he was gay — which there’s not one gay bone in his body — who cares, number one. If people wanna be gay, it is 2024. Who the f*** cares”? Number two, there’s not a gay bone in his body, so why do people wanna lie about that”? It’s certainly a lot to unpack and a lot of people, especially those in the Black community have torn into him for it coming from a white man and also him being so comfortable to say this out loud. However, like Rubin is to Meek, the latter is showing that he’s going to stick up for his friend, too.

The Philadelphia product seems to agree with Rubin’s overall message. However, he doesn’t address the gay comments. “Rubin shouldn’t be saying that type stuff out loud… a black man suppose to but nobody saying it”, he begins in his tweet. “Its like we only collab on songs women and parties… he be hearing my friends getting murdered like why meek, I can’t explain it to him in a sensible way”! However, it seems a lot of people are confused on the message, as well as the format of Meek’s tweet.

Joe Budden Calls Lil Pump “A Sh*t Stain”

In late January of this year, controversial Miami, Florida rapper and rabid Donald Trump supporter, Lil Pump, unleashed on Joe Budden. Overall, it was a pretty shocking headline, as neither hip-hop figure has seemed to show any ill will toward one another in the past. At the time of this story hitting the internet, XXL mentioned that the “Gucci Gang” MC did co-sign Migos’ diss record “Ice Tray” when it released in 2017. That appears to be the only sliver of causation for Lil Pump to go off on Joe Budden several months ago. As for what the hitmaker said about the now podcaster, he brought his past addiction and assault allegations against women.

“F*** Joe Budden, 43-year-old drug addict [woman beater]”, via an Instagram Story. “[You’re] worthless. Go hit a man, not a [woman]. It’s never okay to hit women, [you’re] a piece of s***”. Now, after pretty much ignoring this random lash out, the equally controversial podcast host is firing back. Whether or not it has something to do with the aforementioned quotes is up for debate. Although, the person who clipped this portion of the episode of Budden’s show mentions that it deals with Pump’s Trump co-sign.

Joe Budden Doesn’t Understand How Lil Pump Is Still Relevant

“I still don’t know why he’s a thing”, he says as he begins his rant. “Like I just think of a s*** stain… a white s*** stain… I’ve never seen him not look s*** stainish…”. After that outburst, he hilariously asks one of his co-hosts, “Is this your man?”, seeing if he’s dealing with any Pump fans. He responds back with a simple, “nope”. Budden, then encourages him to get in on the comedy bit, “Then do some whipping”. A few seconds later, he decides to add him to his “hit list” because he’s an “easy target”. Maybe a diss a track is coming from Joe?

What are your thoughts on Joe Budden calling Lil Pump a “s*** stain”? Do you think this has to do with the latter calling out the former earlier this year? Do you think we will get a diss track from Lil Pump now? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Lil Pump and Joe Budden. Finally, stay with us for everything else going on in the music world.

Charlamagne Tha God Urges Drake To Take Lengthy Hiatus

A lot of people are trying to play the role of Drake’s manager and advisor these days following his Kendrick Lamar battle. The latest slightly patronizing take about what his next moves should be comes from Charlamagne Tha God, who discussed his latest career updates on the Brilliant Idiots podcast. These include a Lil Yachty collab that Kai Cenat leaked on his livestream, as well as presumably the 6ix God’s 100 GIGS drop of new songs and BTS material. Despite all the attention on him right now, the Breakfast Club host thinks that he should hang it up for a little bit and then come back.

“Listen, to your point, when the dust settles, it’s not gon’ really be anything,” Charlamagne Tha God told Andrew Schulz, possibly making a specific reference to the Kendrick Lamar beef. “But I think that Drake should go away for, like, a year. And let nostalgia bring him back. Or maybe six months, just take a break.” While there are plenty of reasons as to why the Toronto superstar might want to take a break right now, many see it as a direct result of his perceived loss in the K.Dot battle.

Charlamagne Tha God Wants People To Miss Drake Again

However, Drake already wanted to take a break last year, as he indicated in the For All The Dogs era and at the beginning of the Kendrick Lamar battle. As such, it seems like we just can’t let him go for whatever reason. There’s something to be said about how paradoxical these discussions can be. For example, folks have flip-flopped a lot on whether or not Drizzy is on the clock to respond to a diss, doing too much with his subsequent releases, not doing enough to prove himself… You get the idea.

Regardless of what Charlamagne Tha God thinks, Drake’s recent moves suggest that he isn’t going away anytime soon. Fans are already theorizing as to what his next project will be about thanks to some social media hints. Many fans think that this strategy will work in his favor, and others believe that it won’t do anything to erase the reality of the Kendrick Lamar battle. Only time will tell, so let’s give this debacle even more time to age and anchor itself in rap history.

Lil Rod Addresses Diddy In New Video: “I Want My Money By Monday”

Lil Rod’s lawsuit against Diddy is one of several filings accusing the Bad Boy mogul of sexual assault, harassment, abuse, sex trafficking, and other crimes. Moreover, it seems like Rodney Jones Jr.’s still waiting for his money and expecting Sean Combs to respond eventually, as he detailed in a new video. Uncle Murda ran into Rod at 50 Cent’s “Humor & Harmony Weekend” event, and teased him about being the one to sue Puffy for $30 million. Eventually, Jones Jr. said “I want my money by Monday.” It makes sense that the two men would be joking about this, as neither has much love for Combs and Fif is an even more ardent detractor of his fellow executive’s.

Furthermore, the last update we got on Diddy’s situation is another theory from the G-Unit mogul. “I’m the only person in hip-hop culture that has produced any hit television. Why wouldn’t I be the person to produce it?” he told US Weekly about the documentary he produced about the disgraced multi-hyphenate. “And I’m not on the tapes. See, some of the people who have been around in the culture who are not saying anything. That’s because they’ve been to the parties… They don’t know what part of their experiences are on tape. So it keeps them quiet. And it looks like I’m the only guy, but I’ve been [saying] for years that something’s not right.”

Lil Rod Calls Diddy Out

Elsewhere, Boosie Badazz thinks that other accusers like Cassie want even more money from Diddy, much like how Lil Rod is demanding his cut. “It’s just a mess right now,” he posited during his latest DJ Vlad interview. “It’s just a mess everywhere right now. Cassie and that side don’t sound too happy. I know she ain’t got no $30 million.”

Meanwhile, as far as Diddy’s legal situation, there haven’t really been much updates on his whereabouts or his moves. Instead, a lot of recent conversation revolved around Yung Miami’s Caresha Please confessions about their relationship. As for his numerous lawsuits on the table, we haven’t really seen much development in any of them. But all of that could change very quickly, so we need to simply keep our eyes peeled and keep asking for what’s next.
