Drake’s Latest Joe Budden Trolling Tactic Is His Pettiest Move Yet

It seems that there is more than meets the eye when it comes to Drake’s music release schedule. According to a repost on X from Toronto hip-hop outlet keep6ixsolid, DJ Akademiks was on yet another live stream as he usually is. He appears to be talking fans or even some friends and their conversation is centering around Drizzy’s most recent trio of tracks from his IG burner account and his 100gigs.org site. He dropped “No Face” featuring Playboi Carti, “Circadian Rhythm”, and “Supersoak (SOD)” minus Lil Yachty last Friday, August 23. Obviously, the final day of the work week is when artists release new music. However, given that Drake put out these songs in the middle of the afternoon, Akademiks feels this has something to do with Joe Budden.

Almost every follower of hip-hop knows that The Boy and the podcast host have quite a bit of disdain for one another. That was especially true on the part of Joe Budden because he dragged Drake multiple times during the Kendrick Lamar beef whenever he dropped a new diss track in time for him to rip it apart. Because of this, Drake’s number one fan/reporter firmly believes that it could be a real possibility that he would do this so The Joe Budden Podcast couldn’t discuss the new Drizzy records that same day. Akademiks admits he doesn’t want to come to grips with it. But after talking with his fellow controversial contemporary during the Drake and Kendrick beef about this idea, he’s entertaining it.

DJ Akademiks Is Entertaining This Drake/Joe Budden Theory

Ak even noticed how he was the only major show/podcast talking about the new Drake drops because others were gone for the weekend. He reveals that Joe records his first episode on Friday around 3 p.m. local time for them to be put up on Saturdays. Then, Ak shares that we don’t a second recording until Wednesday. So, with all of that in mind, it’s going to be quite interesting to see if Budden talks about Drake and his alleged scheme in the next podcast.

Travis Scott Delivers A Long-Winded But Wholesome Birthday Toast To James Harden

Travis Scott and James Harden were broing it up last night in Las Vegas, according to Sportskeeda. The Houston rapper and the Los Angeles-bred NBA star guard have been close pals for quite some time. Their relationship grew, especially when the Arizona State product played for the Scott’s hometown Rockets. In fact, James Harden describes his relationship with the Cactus Jack label head as one that betters them both. “We’ve grown a friendship, a friendship that’s grown pretty tight. We talk very, very often… give each other confidence”, Harden explained in 2019.

We talk about how we can be better in our own class. It’s really grown to be a real brotherhood and a friendship. It’s pretty dope”. Well, it seems that last night was an accumulation of all of that time as friends because Travis heaped tons of love and praise on James during a birthday toast, according to DJ Akademiks. The Los Angeles Clipper guard turned 35 yesterday and invited La Flame, as well as many other high-profile guests. In Harden’s post from the bash, Lil Baby, former teammate Kevin Durant, Michael Rubin, and presumably many others were in attendance as well.

Scott can be a pretty awkward dude, but it makes this speech about his “brother” all the more wholesome. “I just want everybody to go to the next level for the greatest human of all time. Congratulations are in order for Tasha K, who recently revealed that she’s expecting a child. However, not everyone has the same sympathy, as social media reacted to this news by harshly bringing up all of her celebrity conflicts and her various lawsuits for allegedly defamatory comments. The commentator has beef with plenty of public figures who have blasted her claims and perspective in the past, and accumulated a lot of debt thanks to judgements in cases involving Cardi B and others. As such, folks online joked that this child would be born with a lot of debt too, which is quite the mean thing to tease about.

Still, fans pointed to how Tasha K has spoken on other celebrities and their children like Chrisean Jr., so they think that it’s all fair game to clown her amid this joyous occasion. Still, she did get a recent win in court, so maybe things will really turn around and pick up for her moving forward. The court will apparently dismiss R. Kelly’s lawsuit against Tasha and the U.S. government, which he filed last November due to allegedly leaked information. Steve Harvey has finally fired back at Katt Williams for the bombshell criticism he leveled at him during an appearance on Club Shay-Shay with Shannon Sharpe, earlier this year. He addressed his fellow comedian while speaking at Invest Fest in Atlanta, over the weekend. In doing so, he offered to turn their rivalry physical.

“You’ll never have a hater that’s doing better than you. Always know that,” Harvey remarked to Stephen A Smith while discussing Williams. He then joked about his fighting skills before adding: “I’d knock your short ass out.” When The Neighborhood Talk posted the clip on Instagram, fans mainly took Williams’ side in the comments section.

Akbar V is one of Nicki Minaj’s strongest defenders, and she wants to make this clear in a court of law. Moreover, she recently tweeted some interesting claims concerning the Trinidadian MC’s $5 million lawsuit from a former super fan who accused her of slander and mistreatment. Apparently, Nicki has a countersuit ready to go, but that doesn’t mean that Akbar can’t contribute to her defense… Well, in the online space, at least. Moreover, she claimed to have evidence that paints this former Barb as a manipulator and as the person who instigated a lot of this complicated relationship, so we’ll see what comes of that.

“I will be going to court and telling the judge how he did this mess and how he act like he was Nicki team,” Akbar V said in defense of Nicki Minaj. “So @NICKIMINAJ give me the court date he text me several of times also i have the messages and calls. Ice Cube’s son, O’Shea Jackson Jr., is concerned about Ludacris after the rapper shared a video of himself drinking still water directly from a glacier in Alaska. In the viral clip, he fills up his flask with the ice-cold water and takes a brave sip. Responding to the move on X (formerly Twitter), Jackson Jr. wrote: “……how long ago did he shoot this and have we been monitoring him?” In a subsequent post, he added: “I see a lot of people name calling but still water is still water. Boil that sh*t and make it cold again. Shoutout to @big_business_ I saw this video on his post about the same thing.”

When Hollywood Unlocked posted the clip on Instagram, users expressed similar concerns for Ludacris’ wellbeing. “First off…. You should NEVER drink any water that is STILL,” one fan wrote. “Unless, of course, you’re in the wilderness and happen to have a water purification kit. Now, he said it was a 600,000 year old glacier… how much ancient bacteria, parasites, diseases etc is defrosting and blooming in that water? Fivio Foreign Angers Fans After Filming A Man Shooting Up Drugs

Fivio Foreign sparked outrage online for filming a man using drugs amid a crowd that jeered and cheered him on, posting the interaction on social media on Sunday (August 25). This was during a link-up with Philly rapper Skrilla, and many felt like this clip promoted drug use and trade. “Philly bloccs Show got canceled we went to the hood to checc Skrilla,” he captioned the clip. The group around the user chanted “dog food,” a term often used to refer to heroin. One big part of the backlash was how the New York MC’s promotion of drug use contrasts with his 2024 U.S. presidential pick‘s policy.

Moreover, Donald Trump and his running mate J.D. Vance are very anti-drug, with the latter promising to subject convicted drug dealers to the death penalty if their campaign is victorious. Vance, an Ohio senator, should know well that the opioid crisis became a public health crisis in the state. This pairs with a rise in overdose deaths due to substances such as fentanyl. If Fivio Foreign thinks that drug use is a casual phenomenon that he should film indiscriminately, then perhaps he should reconsider his Trump support.
