Peso Pluma Cancels Multiple Concerts Amid Cartel Threats

Peso Pluma, the wildly popular Mexican musician, rescheduled several concerts this week without warning. Shows between September 15 and 17 in Milwaukee, Chicago, Indianapolis, and Birmingham were quietly axed. Furthermore, ticketing sites promised a rescheduling date. At the time of writing, Pluma is next scheduled to perform in Chula Vista, California on September 30.

No official reason has been given for the cancelation. However, many believe it is related to the cartel death threats Pluma received earlier in the week. As Pluma attended the VMAs on September 12, a number of banners appeared around Tijuana, Mexico. “This goes to Peso Pluma, refrain from presenting yourself on October 14, because it will be your last show due to your disrespect and loose tongue. You show up and we are going to break you,” one of the banners read. Several of the banners were signed with the initials of the Cartel Jalisco Nueva Generación. JNG is of the largest cartels in Mexico. Mexican authorities are investigating the credibility of the threats.

Why Is The Cartel Targeting Peso Pluma?

According to Tijuana mayor Montserrat Caballero, Pluma and other artists become cartel targets through their music. “Let’s be clear: They sing and make an apology of crime and thus they should know the risk and consequences,” Caballero told the New York Times. Furthermore, Caballero said the decision to cancel Pluma’s October 14 concert would be based on whether the investigation determined the banners, locally referred to as narcomantas, to be legitimately from a cartel. Additionally, Pluma has been recently criticized by Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador. Obrador took issue with “AMG”, stating that “As if material things were the most important things — brand clothes, houses, jewelry, power or arrogance.”

However, Pluma is not the only musician who has faced threats from the cartel. Natanael Cano recently stopped midway through “Cuerno Azulado” and declared that it was “going to get him killed”. The song makes reference to drug deals, government corruption, and even infamous cartel leader El Chapo. As far back as February, ticket vendors have been offering refunds for Pluma’s Tijuana show. This option was offered due to “due to insecurity and threats towards other events.”

Nipsey Hussle’s Baby Mama Allegedly Has “Unapproved” Recording Of Their Daughter

Nipsey Hussle’s ex, Tanisha Foster, continues to battle the late artist’s estate in court. Over the years, their legal back and forth has primarily surrounded the custody of their 14-year-old daughter, Emani. Most recently, Emani’s legal advocate, William Spiller, accused Foster of being in possession of an “unlawful” recording of the teen.

Though it remains unclear exactly what the recording is, Spiller notes that any conversation he has with Emani is protected under the law, and her having the recording is in violation of their attorney-client privilege. He claims that she’s failed to relinquish the tape, which he calls “surreptitious, unlawful, [and] unapproved.”

“It cannot be stressed enough that such a recording is unlawful,” Spiller emphasizes. He wants sanctions adding up to $2,500 filed against her, but according to her, she doesn’t have to pay up. Foster is now working to try to get Spiller removed from his position as Emani’s guardian ad litem, though she failed to specify a reason why. Nipsey Hussle’s family members are Emani’s primary legal guardians, after a judge ruled in 2019 not to give Foster guardianship. Instead, Nipsey’s siblings Samantha Smith and Sam Asghedom as well as his mother Angelique Smith, were given custody. At the time, they described Foster as being “unfit” to be Emani’s primary guardian.

His estate has also gone back and forth with the mother of his other child in the past, Lauren London. Regardless, both of his children are expected to inherit around $1 million from their late father. Announced last week, the collab dropped on September 15. The collection has mostly sold out already, with the shoes retailing for $160 or $170. In non-sneaker news, Rihanna also recently announced the name of her recently-born child. The name of Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s son, born earlier this month, is called Riot Rose. However, fans were split over the name. “Riot Rose is actually a super cute unique name lol very fitting for Rihanna!” one fan wrote in support. “I hate celebrity baby names but Riot Rose knocks,” added another.

However, some fans took the opportunity to troll. “Riot Rose is a terrible name,” one person said bluntly. “*Rihanna named her 2nd son Riot* When he enter club and hypeman shout “we have Riot in the building!” joked another user. Rick Ross Hits Up Tyrese For A Collab Amid DJ Envy Beef

Rick Ross has waded into the current beef between Tyrese and DJ Envy. “@Tyrese, let’s drop one,” alongside a picture of Hollywood Unlocked reporting on claims that Ross wants to sign the musician to MMG. Tyrese is currently feuding with The Breakfast Club host after he claims that Envy mocked his divorce. In a lengthy Instagram post, Tyrese said that “the gloves are off”. Furthermore, Tyrese warned Envy that, “I would strongly suggest you tread lightly, I don’t do cease-and-desist letters, I don’t deal with lawyers, I don’t snitch, I don’t gaslight.”

Of course, Ross has his own beef with Envy. The two artists feuded over their rival car shows earlier this year. Meanwhile, Ross took jabs at Envy over a collection of real estate scam allegations that the DJ is also facing. With this latest move, it’s clear that Ross is more than happy to add fuel to the fire and team up with others that are currently squaring off with Envy.

However, some people have questioned whether this is a real offer, or if Ross is just trying to flame Envy. After all, Tyrese’s Instagram post about Envy turned very emotional very quick. “”I’m aggressive – not passive aggressive,” Tyrese continued on the social media platform. “If ANY MAN were to ever disrespect my wife, I wouldn’t still be IN TOUCH with him in any capacity and try to confront [him] 6 years later. And we’ve all been in touch this whole time. The only drama I have in my life is BM drama and divorce drama,” the actor and rapper wrote. “I don’t bother nobody… I disrespect no one,” he concluded. “I’m sorry if I let anyone down from addressing this, I just couldn’t let this one roll off my back. Y’all have fun. He wanted to go viral from threatening me and calling himself confronting me while the cameras was rolling. 6 years of SILENCE? Famous actor Russell Brand recently posted a video on his social media predicting allegations against him before they even surfaced. Moreover, it seems he’s been accused of sexual assault and harassment in his past by multiple women, and he called these “criminal” claims false in his statement. While he didn’t name anyone or any entity, many connected this to a Dispatched TV special airing in the United Kingdom on Saturday night (September 16). Furthermore, this will air in about three hours as of writing this article on Channel 4 (9pm local time). Now, with stories coming forward about his misconduct, this will surely impact his life and the lives of many others.

“I’ve received two extremely disturbing letters, or a letter and an email,” Russell Brand began. “One from a mainstream media TV company, one from a newspaper, listing a litany of extremely egregious and aggressive attacks. But amidst this litany of astonishing, rather baroque attacks, are some very serious allegations that I absolutely refute. These allegations pertain to the time when I was working in the mainstream, when I was in the newspapers all the time, when I was in the movies.

“As I’ve written about extensively in my books, I was very, very promiscuous,” Russell Brand continued. “Now during that time of promiscuity, the relationships I had were absolutely, always consensual. I was always transparent about that then- almost too transparent. And I’m being transparent about it now as well. And to see that transparency metastasized into something criminal, that I absolutely deny. I don’t mind them using my books and my stand-up to talk about my promiscuous, consensual conduct in the past. What I seriously refute are these very, very, serious criminal allegations.

“Also, it’s worth mentioning that there are witnesses whose evidence directly contradicts the narratives that these two mainstream media outlets are trying to construct apparently, in what seems to me to be, a coordinated attack,” he concluded. “Now, I don’t want to get into this any further, because of the serious nature of the allegations. But I feel like I’m being attacked and plainly they are working very closely together. We are obviously going to look into this matter because it’s very, very, serious.
