To celebrate, the hitmaker took to her story, unveiling an image of herself as a SpongeBob SquarePants character. “10 MILLION FOLLOWERS OOUUUUUU,” she wrote. “HOLD ON LEMME COOK!!!!”
Clearly, the “Bikini Bottom” performer is proud of the massive audience she’s managed to garner so early in her career, and continues to be grateful for each and every one of her Munchkins. While Ice Spice’s success is impressive, it doesn’t come without some downsides. During a recent interview with Variety, she opened up about some of the struggles she goes through as such famous public figure.

“The truth is, I’m everywhere. I’m constantly moving,” she explained. “I’m always moving because people are starting to notice me a lot, and things get weird and creepy really quickly. But I mostly be staying in hotel rooms; that’s really where I live.” Though the 23-year-old MC may not have just one place to call home, she has gotten pretty comfy at the top of the charts. Her tracks with Nicki Minaj continue to be a success, along with her various other collabs and solo offerings. Most recently, she teamed up with Rema to drop off a new song called “Pretty Girl” alongside a fun accompanying visual.
On top of her successful music career, Ice Spice also appears to have some exciting things going on in her love life as of late. She recently chatted with the Los Angeles Times, revealing that she’s dating. Jalen Hurts got to rub shoulders with the rich and famous during a recent appearance at the TIME 100 Gala. Attending with long-time partner Bry Burrows, Hurts found himself sitting alongside Nigerian musician Tems. The pair were seen exchanging pleasantries in videos posted to social media. Unfortunately, many of the videos were posted without audio so it remains a mystery what the pair talked about.
Hurts is having another stellar season with the Eagles, entering week 8 with a 6-1 record. He has over 1800 yards and 9 touchdowns already. However, he is already on pace to set a career in interceptions, having already thrown eight picks. He was also Mister Resilient this past weekend, playing the second half of a crucial win over the Dolphins while wearing a leg brace. The NFL is full of musical crossovers at the moment. While Jalen Hurts is meeting Tems, Travis Kelce is being hit with surprising Taylor Swift stats. During Chiefs-Chargers this weekend, CBS pointed out that Travis Kelce’s yards per game more than double when Taylor Swift is in attendance. It’s an amusing stat, if a little inaccurate. Yes, Kelce is averaging 108 yards per Swift-attended game compared to 46.5 yards in the games the singer didn’t attend. However, it’s a data set of four games against a data set of two games. Furthermore, a majority of his Swift-attended stats can be attributed to his two most recent games – monster performances against the Broncos (124 yards) and Chargers (174 yards). Before the Broncos game, Kelce hadn’t cracked 70 yards in a game.
Regardless, both Kelce and head coach Andy Reid appeared pretty tickled by the notion. “Hard for me to wrap my head around that sentence,” Kelce noted about the graphic. “Kelce keeps getting better with time — Taylor can stay around all she wants,” Reid joked at his post-game press conference. The Chiefs are next in action on the road against Denver. Going back to Hurts for a moment, the Eagles face the Chiefs in Week 11 in a Super Bowl rematch.

During a court hearing today, Judge Michael Gaffey denied Jonathan Majors’ motion to have his domestic abuse charges dropped. This means that his case will now go to trial, which is scheduled to begin on November 29 of this year. Majors’ team also put in a new motion, requesting for the judge to keep “contested evidence” away from the public due to his celebrity status. “The disclosure of sensitive information will limit Mr. Majors’ right to a fair trial,” his team claims.
Majors was first arrested in March of this year, after an alleged dispute with his girlfriend at the time, Grace Jabbari. He was handed assault and aggravated harassment charges, and later pled not guilty to all four. The following month, several additional women came forward with their own allegations against the actor. Reportedly, they worked alongside the DA to build a case against Majors.

The DA responded to his motion to dismiss with a lengthy document, unveiling new details about the night of the alleged incident. According to the 115-page filing, the duo were in the back of a cab on their way home from a party when Jabbari spotted a flirtatious text on her then-partner’s phone. She then grabbed his phone, which resulted in a struggle. As he tried to pry the device away from Jabbari, she says she sustained various injuries, including “bruising, swelling, and substantial pain.”
He then allegedly struck her in her right ear. The filing claims that once the cab came to a stop, both of them got out of the vehicle. Usher has extended an invite to the Las Vegas Aces to attended his “My Way” residency show. “I wish I could’ve been there, but pull up to my show… I got U. While Usher was unable to attend the Aces’ parade after defending their WNBA title, 2 Chainz was on hand to perform.

Last week, the Aces made history. With a 70-69 road victory, the Las Vegas Aces secured their second WNBA title in as many seasons. After a double-digit loss in Game 3, the Aces bounced back to take a one-point win in front of a hostile and sold-out New York home crowd. A’ja Wilson had a game-high 24 points as injuries to key starters limited the Aces’ dominance but did not relegate them to silver scrapes. With the win, the Aces became the first team since the 2002 Los Angeles Sparks to win back-to-back titles. They were also the first defending champions to even make the Finals since the Sparks in 2017.
“This one’s sweeter. It just is. It’s harder to do,” head coach Becky Hammon said after the game. “This is what it’s all about, to have your name etched in history right now with other teams. We never gave up, and this is a moment that we need to celebrate. This is a moment that not a lot of people get a chance to do it, and for us to do it shorthanded, it is truly amazing. It just makes winning that much better,” Wilson, who was named Finals MVP, added.
