Kanye West Blasts Kim Kardashian In New Verse For Replacing Him With A “Manny”

Rich The Kid, Kanye West, and Ty Dolla $ign’s “Gimme A Second 2” is hyping up Rich’s new album. But it’s also contributing to the ever-present tension between Ye and his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian. Moreover, in his verse, he blasts Kim for hiring a “manny” to provide a stronger and more present male influence. “My oldest said, ‘Daddy not going to Heaven,’” the Chicago artist raps on the cut. “Treat me like a deadbeat, said I wasn’t present / They was tryna treat a king like a peasant / They bought my son a new dad like it’s no headache / Don’t give a f**k about s**t, I’m irreverent.”

“I do think that my household, and even in our family, it’s very female-dominated,” Kim Kardashian said of this decision during the current season of The Kardashians. She continued: “I recently hired a manny, I really wanted a male around that was going to be picking them up and taking them to sports. I was scared out of my mind to tell their dad that.” Clearly, that fear manifested into a Kanye West verse, although things reportedly didn’t seem so bad at the onset.

Rich The Kid, Kanye West & Ty Dolla $ign’s “Gimme A Second 2”: Listen

“When he was dropping off the kids, Kanye introduced himself. Played two-on-two with Saint and him, has been so nice to him,” Kim Kardashian revealed. “Saying, ‘Hey, if you’re going to help raise my son – because he handed him the ball really easily – don’t do that, make him go get it himself. These are some of the rules that I would want.’” It’s a curious, albeit precedented, change of heart and double-edged sword that prompts connection and jealousy.

Meanwhile, Kanye West is busy with his wife Bianca Censori… and with a sexual harassment lawsuit against him. It’s a pretty turbulent time in the Yeezy universe right now, but then again, what else is new? It will be interesting to see whether this change in family dynamic will cause more rifts or chill things out. Our best wishes have the latter in mind.

B.G. Clarifies Lil Wayne Diss, Shares That They Spoke About It

B.G. sent the hip-hop world into a flurry when he dissed Lil Wayne on his verse on Finesse2Tymes’ track “Gangstafied.” “My n***a Boosie went home and my dawg was steady blowing,” he spits on the record. “My n***a Weezy steady touring but he’s a b***h and it’s showing. I’m still a living legend, don’t act like you didn’t know it.” Given their history as members of the Hot Boyz and the New Orleans native’s recent release from prison, one would think that there’s more camaraderie here than these bars suggest. But turns out that we and many others got the wrong impression, as he came through on social media with a new video explaining the line.

“[You] don’t really understand what the f**k be going on, man,” B.G. expressed in the new clip of the presumed Lil Wayne diss. “You know what I’m saying? I tell a n***a I love him and call him a b***h all in the same sentence, man. You know what I’m saying? You know? Man, look, this family business, man. You know what I’m saying? Shout out to my little brother Weezy too, man. I talked to my little brother last night, man, you know what I’m saying? Yeah, man, shout out to Charlotte, man. Still my lil’ bro, man, love my lil’ bro, man, you heard me? You know what I’m saying? S**t be complicated sometimes, man. Gizzle gon’ do what Gizzle does, man.”

B.G. Explains Lil Wayne Bars On “Gangstafied”: Watch

As such, it looks like this relates to differing viewpoints on whether they should do a Cash Money or Hot Boyz reunion tour. That means that B.G. would still be showing love to Lil Wayne’s run of shows, but calling him out for not getting that joint rekindling underway. We know that Birdman, and of course many fans, are excited about the idea, so maybe this was just a light tease that wasn’t meant to be anything personal. At least they apparently talked things out after it dropped, as communication between rivals isn’t always a factor in supposed rap beef.

Meanwhile, their journey intertwined in many ways, and now they can finally band together like the good old days. That’s why so many fans expressed disappointment when this looked like a legitimate conflict. But they’re probably fine based on this response; we’ll see if Tunechi has anything to add. On that note, come back to HNHH for the latest news and more updates on B.G. and Lil Wayne.

B.G. Disses Lil Wayne: Fans React

It looks like we’ll never fully get that Cash Money reunion tour– at least, if this new Finesse2tymes song “Gangstafied” is any indication. Moreover, the Memphis MC got a feature from the Hot Boyz’ own B.G., who is currently celebrating his return to the game following a long prison stint. To many fans’ surprise, he dissed his fellow Hot Boy and Cash Money icon Lil Wayne, who also launched the Young Money imprint as an offshoot, while shouting out Boosie Badazz. “My n***a Boosie went home and my dawg was steady blowing,” the New Orleans native rapped on the cut. “My n***a Weezy steady touring but he’s b***h and it’s showing. I’m still a living legend, don’t act like you didn’t know it.”

Furthermore, this also connects to rumors that Cash Money had something to do with snitching accusations levied around B.G. While those are just speculative, plenty of fans had a lot to say about this new shot for Tunechi. “No Lil Wayne slander shall be tolerated. F**k BG,” one passionate fan expressed on Twitter. “Who the hell is this and why do he think he can diss lil Wayne,” another chimed in, who’s probably unfamiliar with their career trajectories.

Finesse2tymes’ Music Video For “Gangstafied” With B.G. Featuring Lil Wayne Diss: Watch

“B.G. throwing a shot at Lil’ Wayne is wack to me,” one fan posited, elaborating further on why the diss might’ve happened in the first place. “If it’s about the whole tour thing, it doesn’t make sense to do a Hot Boy tour. This isn’t 1999 when he was the little guy anymore. He’s a mega star now. Michael Jackson didn’t do a Jackson 5 tour again after the Victory tour. I don’t care if they were childhood friends. I just said Michael wouldn’t go on tour with his blood brothers. Maybe a Lil’ Wayne tour featuring Hot Boy$ as special guests. When you’re that big of a star with that vast of a catalog, you have to be the headliner. Nobody owes you.” Check out more reactions down below.

Fans React To B Gizzle’s Shots At Weezy

Meanwhile, other fans hope that the No Ceilings lyricist pops out of the woodwork to engage in some back-and-forth. “This s**t fireeeeee but lil Wayne response would end him,” one fan wrote in response to B.G.’s verse. To see what all the fuss is about, peep the music video for “Gangstafied” above. For more news and the latest updates on these seemingly former friends, log back into HNHH.

Fivio Foreign Sends Kanye West New Verse, Hints At “Vultures” Appearance

Fivio Foreign and Kanye West have quite the collaborative history together, so to see it move forward is really no surprise. Still, fans are nonetheless excited because the former tweeted on Friday night (December 29) that he just turned his verse in to the latter. As such, there’s plenty of reason to believe that these two rappers will be coming through with some more heat together in the near future. But this is Ye we’re talking about; entire institutions could dedicate millions of dollars to researching every time this man has promised music that never saw the light of day. But we’re close to the New Year; can’t we be optimistic one more time before 2024 rolls around?

Jokes aside, this is most likely going to show up on Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s collaborative album Vultures– well, if it ever ends up dropping, that is. There’s also the change that Fivio Foreign’s verse just doesn’t fit into the final cut, which is another common trait of Yeezy album cycles and rollouts. Regardless, it’s become curious to see how the New York drill exponent became one of the Chicago artist’s closest musical companions in recent years. There’s a certain chemistry when they link even when the end result isn’t perfect, so there’s always potential there.

Fivio Foreign Sent His Verse In, Fans Expect Appearance On Kanye West’s Vultures

What’s more is that this new collaboration might replace a recent and controversial one as Fivio Foreign’s current hot topic. For those unaware, he featured on Lil Mabu’s “TEACH ME HOW TO DRILL,” a pretty self-aware song about a hardened drill MC teaching a preppy white counterpart about the genre and lifestyle. It’s at least much more palatable than some of Mabu’s past work, which didn’t take this tongue-in-cheek approach that’s cognizant of its troll appeal. We’re not saying that’s a good thing, but you have to know what you are and what you’re up against if you want to be successful.

Meanwhile, with Kanye dropping shoes instead of songs these days, we’ll see whether this Fivio verse ever comes out. Where do you think he might fit in on Vultures? Let us know your predictions on these topics down in the comments section below. Also, stick around on HNHH for the latest news and updates on Fivio Foreign and Kanye West.

Yasiin Bey, F.K.A. Mos Def, Gives Andre 3000 Flute Track A Rap Verse At Dubai Show

Yasiin Bey, formerly known as Mos Def, is one of hip-hop’s all-time greats, a quality that he keeps on proving. Moreover, he recently held a show in Dubai on Saturday (December 9), and he had a very special surprise for the crowd, who seemed to be having an amazing time. At one point of the concert, the other half of Black Star began to rap over the opening track to André 3000’s new album, New Blue Sun. If you didn’t already know, this project is entirely instrumental and steeped in New Age, spiritual jazz, and ambient traditions. As such, it’s quite the treat to hear one rap legend give his own unique take, via a melodic and killer verse, to the new lane that another rap legend ventures into.

Furthermore, Yasiin Bey is not the first to engage in this kind of tribute and genre fusion. For example, Lupe Fiasco also rapped over New Blue Sun‘s opener, which gave Andre 3000’s song some uniquely creative and expertly rapped lyrics to go along with it. This was one point of contention for many in the hip-hop community: why isn’t one of the best rappers alive rapping?! That’s a debate we won’t engage in here, but perhaps it’s more important to celebrate how this new work is clearly still inspiring rappers left and right.

Yasiin Bey Adds Verse To A New Blue Sun Cut: Watch

Meanwhile, there are other rap exponents in addition to Yasiin Bey and Lupe Fiasco who think that New Blue Sun holds some real weight in the game. One curious and interesting suggestion came from Paul Wall, who gave 3 Stacks major props for his new effort. However, he posited that a chopped-and-screwed version of the improvisational LP could actually be quite compelling and exciting. It certainly wasn’t the first thing that came to mind when we heard “Andre’s flute album,” but who are we to judge?

On that note, though, what do you think of Bey’s verse on this song? Where do you fall on the debate around whether this is an interesting or worthwhile thing for MCs to do? Whatever the case, let us know in the comments down below. Also, stay up to date on HNHH for the latest news and updates on Yasiin Bey and Andre 3000.
