While BLP KOSHER might turn people off on the surface, we encourage you to give him a chance. The Broward County, Florida rapper has been blowing up over the past several months or so. The reason for that is fairly clear; this guy is a pure entertainer. KOSHER’s personality is colorful and downright hilarious. He possesses the ability to make the oddest similies make sense somehow better than most rappers today. This is why we are happy to talk about his newest single “Virgin Ears.”

This is the second single from his next endeavor called Scarecrow. That is the rumored title for BLP KOSHER’s third tape. It would follow up his 2023 breakout release Bars Mitzvah which features songs like “Special K” and “The Nac 3.” Just a little while back we covered his first single of 2024 “Dreidel Bop.”

“Virgin Ears” is another trap-flavored banger with resonant piano keys and heavy kick drums. While the beat is not anything out of his wheelhouse, the bars are again the main draw. The chorus has some particularly interesting references to Disney shows and candy. Kanye West, Ty Dolla $ign, & Chris Brown Are Taking No Prisoners On Epic “BEG FORGIVENESS”

After a weekend with Kanye West & Ty Dolla $ign’s collaboration tape VULTURES 1, fans are lukewarm on it. Some say it is an outstanding record, while others do not like how Ye comes across on some of the tracks. One thing that people seem to be collectively agreeing on is the quality of the production. It certainly helps when you have so many creative geniuses coming together like JPEGMAFIA and London On Da Track, for example. They have excellent contributions to “BEG FORGIVENESS.”

It is one of the few serious moments on the LP, and this may be the strongest of that bunch. When Kanye drops introspective and minimal tracks, they almost always seem to hit differently. If you do not believe us, go listen to ones like “FML,” “Say You Will,” or “Come to Life.” Those are just a handful of examples that show him at his best. Ye’s verse on “BEG FORGIVENESS” is quite touching as he hopes that his children will live amazing lives. Additionally, he talks about his own mortality and that he is comfortable with what he accomplised if he were to perish.

As for Ty and Breezy, they both dig deep and bring emotional performances. Brown delivers expertly written choruses, refrains, and pre-choruses. Ty finishes things up, belting out raspy and powerful lines like, “Say you wanna make amends before I go / Now you wanna put your heart on the line.” Both R&B talents are feeling resentful and it will send chills down your spine. For ultimate the crescendo, the instrumental feels tribal, epic, and cold in all the right ways. The chants of “beg forgiveness” are haunting but beautiful as well. KASHDAMI Delivers High-Octane New Track, “Want!”

Earlier this week, KASHDAMI kicked off what’s sure to be yet another successful year with his new song, “Want!” He unveiled a snippet of the catchy track a couple of months back, which earned him quite a bit of attention online. Countless fans and even Lil Wayne’s son co-signed the single on social media, and have been waiting for the full release since.

Reportedly, the track will appear on the Las Vegas-born performer’s upcoming album, Oasis. It’s unclear when the new project is scheduled to drop, but based on listeners’ reactions to his latest release, they can’t wait. His comments section is flooded with praise for the single, as well as demands for more new music.

While the track appears to be a success so far, one complaint some fans have had is its length. It clocks in at only around a minute and a half long, which some say just isn’t cutting it. Luckily for supporters craving more, however, KASHDAMI has already started to tease an extended cut. He took to his YouTube comments section to ask fans if they wanted to hear a longer version of “Want!,” to which they replied with several comments along the lines of, “PLEASE BRO PLEASE.”

The single sees KASHDAMI spit menacing bars about clashing with competitors, making money, and more, accompanied by dreamy production. Homeboy Sandman Is Flowing “Real Good” On New Single: Stream

Homeboy Sandman is back, bouncier, and livelier than ever on his newest single, the funky and catchy “Real Good.” Moreover, you might know the Queens lyricist for previous amazing work, such as the recently released Now! tape with Darko The Super and his conceptually released project, 12 Days Of Christmas & Día De Los Reyes. This time around, he trades the boom-bap flows and dense subject matter for some more tools in his arsenal: vibrant delivery, some cheeky lines, and above all, a lot of fun. It opens up with brash brass and a simple but enveloping piano melody, and steady drums and snaps come in to give the cut some more weight and swing.

Furthermore, Homeboy Sandman is able to flow over this peppy production with a lot of personality, adopting a casual but somewhat snarky vocal tone to spit his bars with. “Real Good” is also a superb display of rhyme scheme adherence and creative follow-ups with internal rhymes, all while sticking to his artistically pure and un-compromised lyrical stance. Not only that, but the “Get Yours” MC doesn’t slouch on the hook: “How you doing, Boy Sand? Real good, real good” will likely be one of the catchiest choruses you’ll find this week within hip-hop. But the bars don’t slouch on here, and the verses are still the most exciting part of the song. In this era of rap, such qualities seem harder to find than ever.

Meanwhile, Aesop Rock’s frequent collaborator is so prolific that we’re sure this isn’t the end of excellent singles from him in 2024. We might even get a couple of projects if we’re lucky, although we wouldn’t want to pressure Homeboy Sandman like that. You can tell that if he didn’t really think about this song, he might’ve acted against it, and we’re glad taking one’s time with art results in these gems. Compilation/music collective projects have been a thing for quite some time. However, it seems there are going to be a ton of them dropping in 2024. This weekend, one of the upstarts, 1999 WRITE THE FUTURE, put out their debut. hella (˃̣̣̥╭╮˂̣̣̥) ✧ ♡ ‧º·˚ had tons of solid tracks on it and the genres were plentiful. Lyrical Lemonade, while being around for several years, just formed into a music label of sorts to drop All Is Yellow. Another one on the rise is See You Next Year.

They got their start in 2022 and they also do not stay in one true lane. In just their short time as a collective, See You Next Year has worked with the legendary MIKE DEAN. However, that is not all. Teezo Touchdown, Kenny Mason, Paris Texas, and more have also seen the vision and have worked on tracks with them.

Ice Spice Lands Highest Charting Single With “Think U The Sh*t (Fart)”

Ice Spice’s latest single, “Think U The Sh*t (Fart),” has become her highest-charting song as a solo artist. The track reached No. 37 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with the outlet’s latest update. Spice dropped off the viral track, last month, featuring the now-infamous bar, “Think you the sh*t, b*tch? You not even the fart.”

While it’s now her most successful solo venture, her biggest song overall remains “Karma,” featuring Taylor Swift. That song climbed as high as No. 2. Her “Boy’s a Liar Pt. 2” collaboration with PinkPantheress also reached No. 3 while “Barbie World” with Nicki Minaj cracked the top 10 as well.

Despite the new song’s popularity, not everyone is a fan. Conservative media pundit Candace Owens recently spent a segment of her show complaining about its existence. “If you’re wondering whether or not it’s a good song, what do you think? It’s called ‘Think U The S**t (Fart),’” Owens said before playing a clip from the song. “Now I think we can all admit that we’ve fallen as a society. I mean, I wouldn’t say that was Mozart or Beethoven, but I’m not all of these mainstream media publications that routinely run to defend this kind of music similar to what they did with ‘WAP’ the most disgusting and filthiest lyrics I’ve ever read. They will then sit down and write an article trying to convince you that what you just heard was magical and they did this with this Ice Spice song.”

Tony Shhnow Drops Is Extremely Curious On “Tryna See”

2023 was a productive year for the underground rapper from California, Tony Shhnow. The mumble trap rapper likes to deliver carefree and sometimes dark trap bangers. In 2023, Tony put out 23 (!) singles and two projects. The first of the LP drops was a solo release called Love Streak which was 16 songs and just 37 minutes long. Shhnow fed his fans a second plate of the record four months later with a ChopNotSlop version. Then, in October right before Halloween, he teamed up with Robb Bank$ for I Can’t Feel My Face Too. That tape was even shorter, sitting at 14 tracks and 29 minutes. DRAM was the only feature to be found on the tape.

2024 is already shaping up to be another year of massive proportions for Tony. On his Instagram, the 28-year-old revealed that another album or tape of sorts could be in the works. About one week ago, Tony Shhnow posted a picture of himself with the caption, “loading..” Then, a couple of days later, he posted another photo, saying, “mode.. #otw ”

Lil Skies Is Drowning In “THOUSANDS” Of Autotune Effects

Lil Skies is on the path to dropping a new mixtape very soon. The Chambersburg, Pennsylvania rapper, as well as his manager, announced on their social media by way of Instagram Stories. They did so on January 25 according to the Genius page. The title that Lil Skies has seemingly gone with is Out Your Body Music.

The release date we have at our disposal is March. Genius says that Skies will announce the actual day that it drops in the next couple of weeks. When the 25-year-old delivers the LP, it will be his first since 2021 with Unbothered. Lil Skies has been active since that point with single after single. However, not all of them have been well-received.
