Hit-Boy & The Alchemist Chef Up A Sinister Beat For Big Hit On “Foreclosure”

The rollout for Black & Whites continues 24 hours later, as Hit-Boy and the crew drop the lead single “Foreclosure.” That crew consists of the Fontana, CA native, his father Big Hit, as well as the boom-bap master, The Alchemist. They are dropping the project we just mentioned very soon, as it was announced via an Office Space-inspired album trailer. The trio did a remarkable job recreating the printer smashing scene from the 1999 comedy classic. All three artists were smashing keyboards, while still paying homage to the OG, including the printer, too. In the 1:30 clip, Hit-Boy and the gang previewed music, but it turned out to not be “Foreclosure.”

Fans are still awaiting the release date for Black & Whites so that is partially why this track is here. It appears that Hit-Boy, Big Hit, and The Alchemist are bringing a grim and murderous tone to this project. “Foreclosure” starts out with some mean and punchy drums from Hit-Boy. Then, the beat switches slightly, as Uncle Al brings haunting piano keys into the instrumental.

While the terrific beat rolls on, Big Hit is providing a deliberate flow with aggressive lyrics. His raspy voice pairs perfectly with the atmosphere and it sounds like we are going to have an incredibly consistent project on our hands. Black & Whites will follow up a couple of Hit-Boy projects such as THEODORE & ANDRE, Paisley Dreams, among others. Be sure to check out “Foreclosure” above.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single “Foreclosure” by Hit-Boy, Big Hit, and The Alchemist? Is this going to be the best song from Black & Whites, why or why not? RXKNephew Has A Lot To Say About Drake, Kendrick Lamar, & More On “What Does BBL Even Mean”

If you check any social media app or news source, we can almost guarantee that the Drake and Kendrick Lamar war will pop up. Everyone has something to say, whether it be other rappers, media sleuths, producers, or just the public at large. Someone who has been extremely vocal is Metro Boomin. Perhaps the one who is solely responsible for reigniting this feud, the St. Louis native has chipped in on his own too. One way he has done so is by way of his “BBL DRIZZY” diss beat. He launched a competition in which he will pay $10,000 to whoever provides the best verse, plus a beat. One rapper stepping up to the “BBL” plate is RXKNephew.

The Rochester, New York underground rapper specializes in unintentionally (sometimes) funny and quirky tracks. His version of “BBL DRIZZY,” “what does BBL even mean,” certainly fits that bill. Apparently, he has been paying close attention because he has a lot to say on it. “Why n****s doin’ marketin’ schemes about this fake beef? / You better be lucky I love my fans, that’s why I did this beat / Why Kendrick Lamar beefin’ with a n**** who was never in the street?” he begins.

Essentially, the main theme seems to be about how rappers who were painted as gangster are secretly playing on the same team. “Y’all thought Meek Mill was street, y’all thought Rick Ross was street / Y’all thought Gunna in the street, I guеss you get paid to think / Birdman kissed Lil Wayne, y’all say he the best rapper.” This is just a small dose of what RXKNephew is getting off his chest, so be sure to check out the track for yourself.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single “what does BBL even mean” by RXKNephew? How do you feel about what he said on the Metro Boomin “BBL DRIZZY” beat? Is this one of the most hilarious songs you have heard all year? Will he get the $10,000 and the free beat with this performance? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. I ain’t got s*** against gay people, but n**** you are gay

Macklemore Attacks Joe Biden On Pro-Palestine Song “Hind’s Hall”

Macklemore speaks his mind. The Seattle rapper has been lionized and villainized for discussing controversial topics in his music, but he’s stuck to his guns throughout his career. His latest single, “Hind’s Hall,” is perhaps his most controversial yet. Macklemore champions Palestine over the song’s three verses, and takes political leaders to task for not doing anything to aid its citizens. He goes as far as to call put Joe Biden, and tell him the President that he has “blood” on his hands.

The rapper doesn’t bother with entendres or hidden meanings. He comes out and plainly states how he feels about the current Palestine situation. He also notes the recent wave of student protests. “History been repeating for the last 75,” he raps. “The nakba never ended, the colonizer lied. If students in tents posted on the lawn, occupying the quad is really against the law.” From there, Macklemore criticizes the prioritization of profit over war, and the ways in which those in power benefit from prolonged struggles. “Who gets the right to defend,” he adds. “And who gets the right of resistance has always been about dollars.”

Macklemore Also Throws A Shot At Drake

Macklemore even makes reference to the ongoing Drake vs. Kendrick Lamar battle. He points out how unimportant the battle is amidst real world conflict. “I want a ceasefire,” he raps aggressively. “F*ck a response from Drake.” The biggest diss, however is reserved for the President. The rapper says that he’s disappointed in Biden’s handling of the Palestine situation, and even the President that he no longer has his vote. “The blood is on your hands, Biden, we can see it all,” he adds. “And f*ck no, I’m not voting for you in the fall.”

What are your thoughts on this new diss, “Hind’s Hall” by Macklemore? Is this is the best song Macklemore has released in years? Do you agree with his message? Do you think his comments about Joe Biden were accurate? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Coco Jones Has A Hit With Toxic Relationship Cut “Here We Go (Uh Oh)”

Coco Jones, former Disney actress known for her role in the channel-exclusive movie Let It Shine, has come a long way from that now 12-year-old film. She displayed vocal talent back then and her skills have grown immensely. So much so that she earned her first five nominations and lone GRAMMY win at this year’s award show. Now, with that breakthrough year under her belt, Coco Jones is looking to firmly establish herself in 2024 with songs like “Here We Go (Uh Oh).”

This is the Columbia, South Carolina native’s first offering since a “Double Back Remix” with DJ Suave and Audio Anthem back in December. On “Here We Go (Uh Oh)” Coco is trying to move on from a past lover, but he is not getting that message that she is done. “Why it’s gotta be your way? I want it to be mine /
What, you think this is foreplay? Must be out of your mind
,” she sings powerfully.

Besides her standout voice, the production is also a major highlight. It has a 1950-1960s classic pop sample that grabs your attention right from the start. The steady piano keys are simple but an elegant layer on top of the drums. The way Coco performs on it, gives you the feeling that she is just fed up with this guy and it makes buying into the story that much easier. As we said, Coco is looking to become a bonafide star, and this song, which is already in her top five most popular on Spotify, is a great way to accomplish that.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single “Here We Go (Uh Oh)” by Coco Jones? Is this her best song of her career, why or why not? Do you think she has a new record coming this year? What was your favorite part of the track? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Mach-Hommy Taps KAYTRANDA & 03 Greedo For Bouncy, Summertime Jam “#Richaxxhaitian”

Former Griselda signee and Newark, New Jersey native Mach-Hommy is one of the many stars in the underground scene. His terrific pen and ear for solid production have molded him into one of the most respected and consistent artists. The Haitian-bred MC has had a prolific career since he got his start just about five years ago, and pretty soon he will be adding another new record to his discography. Mach-Hommy is titling the project #Richaxxhaitian, but that is about all we know at this moment in time. According to Genius, rumblings around this offering started in April of last year.

One of the independent artist’s closest pals, Jens “The Guru” Elmera, posted a picture with the rapper, captioning it with this message. “#RICHAXXHAITIAN komin’ soon 💨💨💨 🇭🇹 (My Network Different 😮‍💨).” Then, just two months later a private listening party for the album was held on June 15 in New York. Mach-Hommy apparently played the full album. Subsequently, a producer named Fortes shared the album’s cover art and tracklist, but it has since been deleted. Because of this, there is some speculation that the album will not drop.

But with Mach dropping “#Richaxxhaitian” on Apple Music only as of now today, there is hope that it could still be on the way. This record sees the Pray For Haiti creator tap an unexpected pair of names for this single. KAYTRANADA and California native 03 Greedo are two artists that share almost nothing in common with the super lyrical wizard. But if you are a big fan of Mach, you know that he and KAY collaborated in the past on a track called “$payforhaiti.” This track goes over extremely well, as 03 brings a sticky chorus over KAYTRANADA’s signature bouncy sound. Mach is also bringing it, especially on the flow side of things. Hopefully, we get this album and this song on more streaming platforms.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single “#Richaxxhaitian” by Mach-Hommy, KAYTRANADA, and 03 Greedo? Is this one of the rapper’s best releases as of late, why or why not? Does this get you excited for his upcoming record of the same name? What was your favorite part of the record? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Masego Kicks Drake While He’s Down, Layers Saxophone Over Metro Boomin’s Diss Instrumental “BBL DRIZZY”

One thing we have learned about what seems to be all of Drake’s peers turning on him during this beef is that producers also have issues with him. That has been evident ever since Metro Boomin essentially instigated all of this with his “Like That” record with Kendrick Lamar and Future. That one song has snowballed into continuous series of diss tracks and responses. Metro has even gotten in on the act by himself with his quite hilarious instrumental clap back, “BBL DRIZZY BPM 150.mp3.” Another fellow producer, Masego, apparently has something to say as well, with his version called “BBL Drizzy Sax Diss.wav.”

The Kingston, Jamaica singer and beatmaker, has a history of working with the public enemy number one, albeit a short one. On the Certified Lover Boy opener, “Champagne Poetry,” Drake sampled Masego’s hit song “Navajo.” That track in turn referenced a sped-up version of The Singers Unlimited record, “Michelle.” Masego was credited as a producer on “Champage Poetry” for that reason, and it appears that he did not have anything bad to say about Drake in interviews.

Listen To “BBL Drizzy Sax Diss.wav” By Masego

That is why this saxophone-tweaked version of Metro’s “BBL DRIZZY” beat is surprising. One user on Reddit is speculating that Drake pulled the wool over Masego’s eyes about receiving royalties. “I mean, he said “cut the check or I’ll show up with Jamaicans” at the end of this. Maybe Drake tried to pull some ‘actually I paid you in exposure’ s***.” Those bars could come across as contradictory due to an interview Masego did when asked about “Navajo” being used by Drake. “That’s what bought this chain,” the singer said flexing his flashy neckpiece. He even said he was “excited” when he heard it and that they had talked about Drake using “Navajo” for his record.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single and instrumental, “BBL Drizzy Sax Diss.wav,” by Masego? Why do you think he is now piling on Drake amidst everyone else turning on the Canadian rapper? Do you think Masego will speak out about this, why or why not? Do all of these attacks on Drizzy prove he has been the bad guy this whole time? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Masego, Metro Boomin, and Drake. Finally, stay with us for everything else going on in the music world.

Mike Shabb & Boldy James Chomp Like “Big Piranhas” On New Single: Stream

Mike Shabb and Boldy James are here to remind people tuning into hip-hop this week for the Drake and Kendrick Lamar beef that there’s much more to offer this week. Moreover, they just dropped an excellent new single, “Big Piranhas,” which is one of the more haunting and coolly confident rap tracks that you’ll hear this week. This also continues a prolific run of collaborations for Bo, including “Stories & Lessons” with Jay Exodus and “No Fighting” with Real Bad Man, Elcamino, and the Black Soprano Family. As for his Montréal partner on this cut, he is releasing an album very soon and also handles production here.

Furthermore, this beat’s combination of faint vocal samples, shrill synths, dramatic piano chords, and cavernous but tom-heavy percussion creates an immediately entrancing atmosphere. Given both Boldy James and Mike Shabbs’ prowess as MCs, it’s no wonder that they’re able to turn this instrumental bed into a place to deliver some sharp bars amid their gritty narrations of hardship. The “Live From The Roxy” spitter has a killer shoe brand stanza here, whereas Shabb provides sharp and vivid imagery like “Can’t even wrap his head around the fact he got a square face.” It might not be the most eventful song production-wise in its evolution, but there’s a lot of vivid penmanship here that will keep listeners engaged.

Meanwhile, at this point, we can only guess as to what Boldy James will bless us with next, as he’s been no less prolific since dropping his Penalty Of Leadership album with Nicholas Craven earlier this year. Mike Shabb does have something on the way, and that’s no less exciting. If you haven’t checked out “Big Piranhas” yet, find it on your preferred streaming service and peep some standout bars further down. Kendrick Lamar Calls Drake A “Certified Pedophile” On DJ Mustard-Produced Diss Track “Not Like Us”

Before Drake could even respond to Friday night’s “Meet The Grahams,” Kendrick Lamar has already fired off another diss track aimed at the Toronto rapper. This time, he shared “Not Like Us” on social media, making reference to Baka Not Nice’s past legal trouble while also repeatedly accusing Drake of being a “pedophile.” “Say Drake, I hear you like ’em young / You better not ever go to cell block one,” he raps towards the start of the song.

When Lamar shared the track on Twitter, fans were loving the drama. “We’re witnessing one of the best rap beefs of all time,” one user replied. Another wrote: “This is real hatred, folks. For generations, all haters will be compared to this moment.”

Kendrick Lamar Accepts Grammy Award For “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers”

Lamar first dissed Drake on Metro Boomin and Future’s “Like That,” earlier this year. In the time since, they’ve traded several songs aimed at one another. The drama reached a new level on Friday night after Drake dropped “Family Matters.” In the song, he accused Lamar of being abusive towards his fiance. He also dissed several other artists who have been beefing with him including The Weeknd, Rick Ross, and more. Within an hour, Lamar fired back with “Meet The Grahams.” On that track, he speaks directly to several members of Drake’s family while accusing him of hiding another child. “I’m sorry that your father not active inside your world / He don’t commit to much but his music, yeah, that’s for sure,” Lamar raps.

RXKNephew Teases New LP With “Money Can’t Replace Time”

New York hip-hop — as every fan of the genre knows — is extremely diverse. One artist that is contributing to the colorful scenery out East is underground rapper RXKNephew. You would be hard pressed to find someone who has a larger discography than this man has since he began his career in 2019. In just five months, the off-kilter MC has dropped six(!) tapes already. Even NBA YoungBoy is not doing those kinds of numbers that early on. What is even more shocking is that he is nowhere near done. According to Stereogum, the “Critical” creator is gearing up for another project that will be out by the end of the month. To promote Till I’m Dead 2, RXKNephew is back with “Money Can’t Replace Time.”

If that title rings a bell, that is because this will be a sequel to his so called “debut LP” Till I’m Dead. That released a little over a year ago, March 10 to be exact. As we mentioned at the beginning, RXKNephew is does like to do things by the book. If you want to hear what we mean, we highly encourage you to go back and listen to his Christmas-themed track “HAPPY HOLIDAYS.”

Listen To “Money Can’t Replace Time” By RXKNephew

It is a tongue in cheek rendition of Mariah Carey’s classic, “All I Want for Christmas Is You.” That is all we want to reveal to you for now. But as for “Money Can’t Replace Time,” it is definitely a much safer and toned-down approach to what he considers normal. His flows match the tempo of the production, whereas before he would have a Blueface mindset of rapping off beat. All in all, it is a solid release from the prolific personality.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single “Money Can’t Replace Time” by RXKNephew? Does this get you excited for his upcoming project, why or why not? Is this one of his stronger offerings as of late? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Dave East Teases Another New Tape With Hustler Anthem “SO MUCH CHANGED” Assisted By Mike & Keys & Stacy Barthe

Dave East is one of New York’s hardest working rappers going right now and “SO MUCH CHANGED” shows that blue-collar mentality tenfold. This is the Harlem resident’s latest release, and it doubles as a lead single for yet another new project. The “Phone Jumpin” artist is teaming up with a new producer this time around for Apt 6E. This time around, Harry Fraud of 2 Piece is being replaced by the equally talented duo Mike & Keys.

There is no release date yet, but hopefully the gap in between this single and the final product will not be too unbearable. Also joining Dave East on this effort is frequent rap chorus expert and singer Stacy Barthe. Many hip-hop heads will remember her most for her beautiful contributions to the late Nipsey Hussle track “Victory Lap.” On “SO MUCH CHANGED,” Dave raps with a lot of passion and at a perfect pace to boot.

You can almost hear a bit of Tupac’s influence shining through from the flow side of things. East was clearly not shy to pay homage to one of the pillars of the genre in a promotional IG post for the track. “Rest In Paradise Tupac Amaru Shakur,” East wrote. All of the elements are working in harmony on this gritty track, especially the bouncy and punchy Mike & Keys beat.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single “SO MUCH CHANGED” by Dave East, Mike & Keys, and Stacy Barthe? Is this one of his better tracks as of late, why or why not?
