Lil Tecca Slides On Fresh Single “Down With Me”

Lil Tecca is one of the most consistent artists of his era. From 2015 to 2019, there were a ton of melodic artists who came up through SoundCloud. Overall, it was very difficult for these artists to maintain relevancy. However, Tecca has managed to keep his fanbase intact. His social presence is large and he is always dropping catchy songs with great beats. Last year, he dropped a 16-track album called TEC which proved to be a pleasant surprise. Now, he is already back to dropping music.

Below, you can find the music video to his new song, simply titled “Down With Me.” Once again, this is a melodic offering with some truly phenomenal production. The melodic horns in the background are met with some crisp drums that go together perfectly. Meanwhile, Tecca slides over this production with some melodies of his own. It is yet another example of his great ear.

Lil Tecca Is Back

For now, it remains to be seen what this song is for. It could very well just be a single that he wanted to release for his fans. However, it could also prove to be a track that signals a deluxe version for TEC. Either way, the fact that he is releasing music again is a great sign. Hopefully, we hear even more, very soon.

Be sure to let us know what you think of this new Lil Tecca track, in the comments section down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. Don Trip And Petty Trade Great Showings On “Bar Hopping”

Don Trip has always been someone who constantly pushes out music. 2023 was easily his busiest year yet as an artist. The Memphis spitter was able to dish out 12 different projects and did so in a cool way. At the end of each month, Don had a new album or EP ready to go. The last time we were able to talk about an album of his was back at the end of October with Red October.

He was also there right around Thanksgiving with Wolverine. Like a lot of his projects, Don Trip grabbed features from Starlito as well as his late friend, Pif. Both of those names find their way onto his latest record, Christopher Season 3. It came out on December 29, just before the new year. One of the tracks that caught our attention was “Bar Hopping.”

The title of the song is a double entendre referring to trading rap bars and traveling to different drinking spots. Throughout the track, there is a killer guitar riffing sample. Petty opens the song up with some clever world play. Then, Don comes in to carry the momentum until the end. You can hear how fire it is with the link above.

What are your initial thoughts on this brand-new song, “Bar Hopping,” by Don Trip and Petty? Is this the best song from Christopher Season 3, why or why not? Who had the better performance on this track and why? Where do you think this installment ranks within the Christopher album series? Lil Skies New Song “Pivot” Leaves Fans Severely Disappointed

Pennsylvania rapper and crooner Lil Skies was one of the hottest rappers from about 2017 to 2019. His sound was very melodic with elements of trap, emo, pop rap. Unfortunately, many feel he has steadily fallen off since that point. While he still releases a steady flow of singles, it will be almost three years since his last album.

For some rappers, they may be able to bounce back from a long LP break. But, usually, those artists have more of a distinctive sound. Skies can rap for sure. However, his approach is quite run-of-the-mill, as there are many clones like him.

Listen To “Pivot” By Lil Skies

That is partially the reason why his latest single “Pivot” is not doing too well with listeners. Skies shared the song on his Instagram page to little in the way of compliments. Many people are saying he should go back to his original sound. One goes, “Skies really took 2 years off to release this dog s*** go back to your old sound tf.” Another goes, “Skies no we need that 2017 skies wtf is this it don’t even sound like you!” While it is good for artists to constantly evolve, this change has fans scratching their heads due to him riding the new waves of the music soundscape.

What are your initial thoughts on this brand-new single, “Pivot,” by Lil Skies? Do you think an album is on the way soon with all of the releases from last year? Are the fans in the comments section right that this is one of his worst tracks? Whether you agree or not, why? Does it sound like his style or his riding the wave of other rappers? Lil Dicky Shoots His Shot With Rachel McAdams On “Mr. McAdams”

It was during late June of 2023 that Lil Dicky provided his fans with a massive update on his music career. Of course, the Pennsylvania native has been very busy with his hit television show on FX, Dave. It basically describes his life and how he wants to become one of the most successful rappers of all time. Because of the music industry elements, there are going to be some songs woven into the show.

However, Lil Dicky feels that the material is good enough to release as a full project’s worth. “It’s a really strong body of work that I’m super proud of. I was surprised when I took a step back and looked at the inventory of stuff that [has] made it into the show — ‘Oh, my God, there’s like a great album here of work that can live on its own.’” That is slowly becoming a reality because the soundtrack for Dave is on its way. It is going to be called Penith (The DAVE Soundtrack) and will be out on January 19.

The lead single is out now for it is called “Mr. McAdams.” The music video includes scenes from some episodes of the show in which Rachel McAdams makes some guest appearances. Over time they develop some feelings for each other, hence the name of the song. The lyrics make quirky references to The Notebook in classic Lil Dicky fashion. Blueface Sends Disses Toward Offset, Cardi B, & Soulja Boy On Remix Of Jaidyn Alexis’ Hit “Barbie”

A couple of months ago, Jaidyn Alexis shocked the music world with a decent banger called “Barbie.” Her man and MILF Music label founder, Blueface, had a huge hand in the song’s success. The Cali native had writing credits and it is a big reason why so many are vibing with it. Jaidyn and Blueface are back for more, with a remix.

However, this is not just a new version with a full verse from the “Thotiana” hitmaker. He is sending shots right at Offset, Cardi B, and Soulja Boy. He raps, “Offset upset Cardi got the update / Soulja Boy mad he found out his b**** f****d late.” Of course, the first part of those lyrics is a reference to the time Blueface revealed that the Migos member hooked up with Chrisean Rock.

In terms of the Soulja Boy part, that is a diss toward the ongoing beef between them. That all began when Blueface said he could take on the “Crank That” hitmaker in a Verzuz battle. However, he took it a step further by saying that he messed around with Soulja’s current baby mama before they got together. Needless to say, this is going to cause a stir online. It will be interesting to see how all three of these names respond to Blue in the following days.

What are your initial thoughts on this brand-new version of “Barbie” by Jaidyn Alexis and Blueface? Is the remix better than the original, why or why not? Do you think Offset, Cardi B, or Soulja Boy will respond to the shots by Blueface? Where does this rank among disses in a rap song? We would like to hear what you have to say about all of this. BabyTron Brings His Performance Of “New Year, Same Tron” To Times Square

With 2024 finally upon us, music fans are excited to see what their favorite artists have to offer creatively this time around. One of the people who is always bringing something new and experimental is BabyTron. He continues to improve by the week it seems. Last year he came through with a handful of projects, including MegaTron 2.

He was also impressive teaming up alongside JID and Lil Yachty on “Half Doin Dope.” BabyTron possesses a lot of great qualities as an artist. He can be funny, and serious, all while finding unique pockets on his colorful beat choices. On the outside, he may seem like another run-of-the-mill rapper, but he is far from that.

To kick off the new year, the Michigan native came out with a new track called “New Year, Same Tron.” He brings some great rhymes to the forefront over to a dreamy beat. One of the coolest things about this is the music video. Tron was in Times Square for the ball drop on New Year’s Eve. That would also be the shooting location for his impromptu video shoot. There are some funny parts where spectators have some questionable stares. The cops are also directing him to stay within a certain boundary. But, hey, whatever it takes for the fans.
