310babii Delivers Another Party Anthem With “That’s It”

310babii might be pretty new to the professional rap game, but he’s carving a nice niche for himself already. The California rapper knows how to craft fun party tracks that are sure to get club-goers on the dancefloor. We aren’t Nostradamus, but we probably should have saw his abilities to do this sooner because his debut single “soak city (do it)” was an instant hit. Over a year later, the record still ranks amongst the most popular on the Spotify platform with over 167,000,000 streams. Now, 310babii is looking to sprinkle a little bit more of that magic onto his newest track, “that’s it”.

It’s also the latest single for his next project, 310degrees, which is due next Friday, October 4. So far, we have gotten five of the 12 songs, so hopefully this will be the last one to be shared. Other tasters include “pink whitney”, “rock your hips” with OHGEESY and BlueBucksClan, it’s remix with Saweetie, and “forward back”. On “that’s it”, you are getting a track that was made for the ladies out there looking to get loose. “At this point, the h*es know what to do / Way too many hotties, I don’t know who to choose
She heard I got pape’, now the b**** tryna freak mе (Ayy) / If she hot and got a wet t*at, she can hit mе
“. Also like his past tracks, 310babii brings that West Coast bounce and couples it with some bell loops. Give it a try below with the link to the music video.

Rich Amiri Continues Hot Streak With New Single, “Count My Bandz”

Rich Amiri has returned with an official release for his highly-anticipated song, “Count My Bandz.” In the chorus to the upbeat track, Amiri advises fans of two rules: “If you get rich you put your mans on” and “Don’t come ’round n****s with your hands up.” The song originally leaked on SoundCloud back in July. On that version, Amiri sampled Roscoe Dash’s classic verse on the song “No Hands” by Waka Flocka Flame; however, he cut it from the official release.

In response to the new song, fans on YouTube have been making jokes about how thrilled they are about its release. “Thank you amiri. This song cured my great great grandmas cancer back in 1764. I will be forever grateful,” one top comment reads. Another user writes: “I showed this to my blind grandmother and she stood up from her 20carat gold plated wheelchair with heated seats and titanium pedals from germany, did a backflip and told us she can hear again and amiri should win the ballon dor for his lyrical masterclass, absolute steller work from my glorius king amiri.” Next month, Amiri will be embarking on a European tour with shows lined up in Dublin, London, Amsterdam, Berlin, and more cities over the course of October. Check out his latest song, “Count My Bandz,” below. Be on the lookout for further updates on Rich Amiri on HotNewHipHop.

Bktherula Flips Vano3000’s Viral “Adult Swim” For Her First Single Since “LVL5 P2”

Bktherula has shared her first single since the release of her acclaimed 2024 project, LVL5 P2. On the new song, “Adult Swim,” she samples Vano3000’s viral “Adult Swim” edit of BADBADNOTGOOD‘s “Time Moves Slow.” After rapping about Kobe Bryant, having money in the bank, smoking weed, and more, she finished the brief track by singing her own version of the lyrics: “Running away is easy (Ooh) / It’s the leaving that’s hard.” In the comments section of Bktherula’s lyric video on YouTube, fans have been showing love for the song. “Kept this on repeat to keep the suicidal thoughts away. 18 hrs after you dropped it till now and most likely for a while after this. W song thank you,” one fan wrote. Another added: “Visuals got me tripping!!! Love it! And I love the chorus.”

Earlier this year, Bk spoke with HotNewHipHop about LVL5 P2, at which time she discussed landing high-profile collaborations like JID and Cash Cobain on the project, her social media presence, and more. She’ll also be performing at Rolling Loud in Miami, later this year. Check out “Adult Swim” on YouTube below. Be on the lookout for further updates on Bktherula on HotNewHipHop.

Monaleo & Kaliii Put Toxic Men On Blast With “Flush Em”

Throwing Bows might be the most spot-on title for a Monaleo project. Her rap style and bars exhibit similar actions that you would see in a boxing ring. Ironically, the cover for the aforementioned tape displays exactly that as she’s knocked out a man cold. Even crazier, is that Monaleo and Kaliii sound like they want to throw down with some toxic men for their girlfriends on their new single “Flush Em”.

This track comes just a week ahead of Throwing Bows, which will be her second LP of her still bubbling career. Where The Flowers Don’t Die, an 11-track, 28-minute-long effort was the last full-length-like effort we got and that came in May of 2023. “Flush Em”, which features production from Bankroll Got It, is the third offering, as it comes after “Passenger Princess” and “Don Who Leo”. While the flows are a bit clunky and do sound like Latto at times, what you can’t deny is the energy and mic presence from Monaleo. Give the track a try and tell us what you think in the comments below.

What have I taught you, huh? (What?) Nice h**s comin’ in last (Let’s go)
Huh, why was you curvin’ a simp? (Yeah, yeah) You tellin’ the n**** he comin’ in fast (Uh-huh)
You chasin’ after a n**** that won’t even get out and pump your gas (What?)
You could not follow your friend, but said he be givin’ that n**** a pass, I’m on your a**, let’s go

Eem Triplin Is Done With The “CRAZY H*ES” On New Single

There aren’t many like Eem Triplin in terms of vocal delivery. His signature rasp that blurs the lines between rapping and singing has been helping elevate in the industry. For example, the Pennsylvania native has been on Camila Cabello’s radar so much that she worked with on him on track. You can find their collaboration on the C,XOXO – Magic City Edition. For those wanting to give it a listen, it’s called “baby pink”. On top of getting nods from bigger artists, he’s also got his fair share of hits. “AWKWARD FREESTYLE”, “JUST FRIENDS ?”, and “LOUIE V” are just a few of them.

“FIJI”, which features the R&B collective Cruza, is also on the rise, with over two million streams in just over a month. Eem Triplin can replicate similar, if not better, results with “CRAZY H*ES”. There’s something so addicting about his plugg style, so it’s great to hear that some of that secret sauce is brought to this new single too. Here, Eem Triplin expresses how tired he is of dealing with argumentative and over obsessive women. He does so with a sticky melody that’s perfectly placed over a very light and airy instrumental. While they do share a tonal approach, these two singles are also similar because they will both be on Eem’s upcoming debut album, Melody of a Memory. That’s all we know for now, so while you wait for the tape, stream “CRAZY H*ES” with the music video link below.

Your Gmail and Facebook Messenger, I don’t even go on that (The f***?)
Sayin’ you gon’ get your brother, b****, then bring him then (It’s up)

Jean Dawson Preps For New Album With Late-Night Cruiser “Houston”

Jean Dawson has been thoroughly impressive for a lot of reasons. Out of all the qualities that he possesses, you could easily argue that his versatility is his greatest asset. His ability to hop around different genres without a surface-level approach is quite remarkable. It adds some wonder and mystery to what he’s going to present on a new single or project. Speaking of which, the 28-year-old multi-talent is working toward releasing the latter as we speak. In mid-July, he posted a moody portrait of himself onto IG with a vague “💽*” caption. Fans were immediately begging for an album in the comments, and not too long after, their wishes would become reality. About a month later, Jean would go on to announce that, along with a tour. “Id like to formally announce “𝒢𝓁𝒾𝓂𝓂𝑒𝓇 𝒪𝒻 𝒢𝑜𝒹” album 3 title and North American tour dates. Can’t wait to see you <33”.

Then, just four days after the reveal (August 16), he dropped the now lead single “Die For Me” which featured Lil Yachty. Now, this weekend, Jean Dawson is back with its second in “Houston”. The previous track was more of a hip-hop/R&B/alternative sounding cut. But in typical Dawson fashion, the sounds are much different. “Houston” sees him take on an 80s synth-pop atmosphere and it sounds heavenly. It’s got that late-night drive vibe, and the lyrical content definitely has some allusions to God. He cleverly uses the phrase “Houston we have a problem” and applies it to him taking off into space to find peace with the big guy above.

Ray Vaughn & NLE Choppa Hold Nothing Back On “FNBM”

TDE’s Ray Vaughn is doing everything but dropping an album at this point. Outside two EPs, the Long Beach, California rapper has no full-length to his name six years in. However, in January, we did get word from the label about which of their signees would be releasing an LP. So far, the ones we can scratch off the list include ScHoolboy Q, Doechii, SiR, Zacari, and Devin Malik. With just about two months to go, there’s still a lot of artists that are supposedly still going to be dropping before year’s end. One of them is in fact Ray Vaughn, so hopefully with this release of “FNBM”, we are closer to finding out more information soon.

This is his second single in just a week-long period with the trending “Everybody Dies” featuring SiR being the previous record. Hilariously, the tonal difference between these two songs is immense. “Everybody Dies” was an excellently written piece about living a fulfilling live and striving for greatness. On “FNBM”, Ray Vaughn is working with NLE Choppa and if you’ve been keeping up with the latter lately, you know what you’re going to be in for. We will let you decipher the title yourself by checking on the link for the track below, but some of these bars may give it away. “Gulp gulp gulp”, three thousand what I call her (Call her) / She don’t forget the balls, bunny b**** a real baller (Real baller) / F*** a baby daddy if you play you get a face shot (Brrt)“.

It’s cool when they do it, but when I do it, it’s a problem (Okay)

Just put your hair up in a bun and hit the owa-owa

Jordan Ward & Joony Kick Off Roll Out Of Joint Project With “Jealousy”

Jordan Ward has actually been in the business for about seven years now. But really over the last two or so is where’s seen some growth in his audience. The St. Louis, Missouri singer’s 2023 is perhaps his breakout year, as he went on to release his second project FORWARD. Since it being out, tracks like “FAMJAM4000”, “WHITE CROCS”, and “CHERIMOYA” have turned out to be fan favorites. Ward has managed to stick out thanks to his vocal style that borrows some elements of the 90s to early 2000s. It’s buttery smooth and boyish but in a good way. He also went to drop the extended version later that year and in 2024, he’s kept things fairly lowkey.

However, it’s looking like he’s making a fill return and very soon. But he won’t be alone because rapper and frequent collaborator Joony, will be joining him. On October 4, these two laid-back artists will be dropping a joint effort called JRNY. That’s about all we know for now, on top of its new lead single. Jordan Ward and Joony’s “Jealousy” is all about wanting a more serious relationship with a major crush but not getting the same vibes back. It definitely has a relatable message and the melodies on this track are extremely potent to the ear. The beat is also very simple, but it plays a nice mellow backdrop to their equally chill yet pained deliveries.

TiaCorine Is Erratic & Expressive On “Different Color Stones”

Someone who’s never going to hide their idiosyncratic and bubbly personality is TiaCorine. It comes off in such a genuine way that it makes her feel more relatable compared to a lot of her femcee contemporaries. It’s not necessarily something you need to have to be a successful artist, but a lot of listeners listen to music to find someone who they can say they share things with. She just happens to possess that ability, and it helps her stand out from the rest of the pack. We also think it’s really been helping her expand her career outlook and brand, as 2024 has perhaps been the North Carolina native’s biggest year yet.

In these first nine months, TiaCorine has worked some pretty impressive talent. Luh Tyler, Denzel Curry and A$AP Ferg, Key Glock, Zelooperz, and Rich Brian are just a few of them. In addition to her collaboration run, she put out a new EP called Almost There. With a title like that, we could be in for a LP in the near future. Especially since her last project was 2022’s I Can’t Wait. It’s been a little bit of time also since her last solo release, but today, that all changes. TiaCorine is already generating buzz in these first few hours of “Different Color Stones” being out thanks to her off-the-wall vocal performance. She experiments with different voices ranging from cutsy and melodic, to unhinged TiaCorine is doing it all. Lyrically there isn’t anything too interesting going on, but her incredible personality makes up for a lot of its shortcomings.

Tommy Richman Drops “WHITNEY” One Week Ahead Of Upcoming LP

Tommy Richman has been upsetting but also impressing a lot of listeners in 2024. He’s been in the professional music business for longer than that. However, this has really been his coming out party without a doubt. The release of “MILLION DOLLAR BABY” has propelled that for sure, but he’s proven to be much more than that. That’s something he’s looking to show the doubters, according to a statement obtained from Uproxx. “I’ve been building up my discography for years. I’m not a one-hit-wonder”. What he’s also looking dispel the belief that he has one mode of singing, which is that expressive falsetto delivery. While it’s still prevalent, Tommy Richman does switch up the production style on “WHITNEY”.

This is presumably the last promotional track we are going to receive before the release of his next album, COYOTE. The project is slated to drop on next Friday, September 27, and is going to be carrying 11 songs. As of now, it looks like “THOUGHT YOU WERE THE ONE”, his most recent record outside of “WHITNEY”, is serving as the lead-off cut. That means that “MILLION DOLLAR BABY” and “DEVIL IS A LIE” are being axed from the tracklist. But we will just have wait and see. On “WHITNEY”, Tommy is once again delivering a more heartbreaking cut, as it seems that this woman he’s talking about is not as ideal as he once thought. As we mentioned though, the production choice is different, as he goes in synth-pop/nu-wave direction with a driving series of punchy drums. Things really take off vocally on the chorus too, as Tommy wails away across it.

How many times I tried to be so simple, baby
So simple, baby
