Russ Attempts To Show A Woman What Real Love Is On “Fendi Bucket”

Russ has been running 2024 in his own way by dropping a steady stream of singles thanks to an intuitive platform. It allows his fanbase to vote on some tracks that the New Jersey had previously teased at one point. Whichever receives the most love will be the one that gets a widespread release on DSPs. The latest one that Russ is bringing out this weekend in particular is “Fendi Bucket”. Here, the platinum recording singer and rapper is looking to give a woman a lifestyle that her previous suitors could not provide.

However, because of how these past men treated her, she has a hard time believing in Russ’s promises. “I’m tellin’ you that I’m him, but it goes in one ear, out the other (Yeah) / Your ex did a number on you, it made it hard, it made it tougher (F***) / You tellin’ me gifts and trips doesn’t prove that I’m the man he wasn’t (Wasn’t)“. However, he learns that giving her confidence and compliments is what she’s been yearning for. “I see that you got your own money, you got your own place and for that, I salute (Salute) / I see that you really do care about people, it’s time that you care about you (It’s time)“. While this is going on, Russ is also bodying this pop rap beat, finding a pocket right at the start.

However, if you are familiar Doe Boy and Skilla Baby’s music, you know they aren’t going to go about this subject matter in lovey-dovey fashion.

LL COOL J & Saweetie Unite For Seductive Single “Proclivities”

LL COOL J is looking to go 3/3 on the singles front for his upcoming album as he drops “Proclivities” with Saweetie. Prior to this, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee put out “Passion” and “Saturday Night Special” with Rick Ross and Fat Joe. The New York legend had taken a lot of time to get The FORCE right and lately, he’s been feeling that is a project worth hyping up. “We’re talking 14 tracks of straight fire, all crafted by myself and the one and only Q-Tip. When you listen to this album, you’re not just hearing music, you’re experiencing a whole new vibe, a whole new level of artistic passion”. So far, we have certainly been hearing the detailed approach from LL and Q. The previous tracks have been in our rotation consistently thanks to standout rapping and instrumentals that recapture the early days of hip-hop.

When fans heard that LL COOL J would be working with Saweetie on a song, they weren’t sure how it would sound. However, we are happy to report that the California femcee is able to put forth a pretty killer performance. She flexes her singing chops on the chorus which are highly sexual and steamy. She then effortlessly transitions right into her raunchy verse, keeping the sensual tension high. LL’s verses carry a majority of the runtime, and both of their performances are backed by another winning instrumental from Q-Tip. Its smoky, grand, and it’s just got an alluring quality to it. Fans can expect to have LL’s new album, The FORCE, on September 6. Stream “Proclivities” and check out its accompanying music video below.

Real Boston Richey Has A Future Hit With “Get In There” Featuring GloRilla

Real Boston Richey is maintaining a strong level of consistency in 2024. A couple of months ago, the Tallahassee, Florida product put out one of his most vulnerable cuts to date with “Help Me”. Fans commended him peeling back his layers a bit as they responded positively to the single. So much so, that the track is currently his most popular on his Spotify with over 6.1 million streams. Additionally, it’s seen a lot of success on other platforms such as TikTok. It’s been used over 500,000 posts. Furthermore, it’s done well on YouTube, amassing over 13.8 million views between the music video and audio uploads. Because of this, it’s sitting at number 74 on the Billboard Hot 100. Excuse us for gushing, but we have to give the Freebandz signee his flowers. However, let’s focus in on Real Boston Richey’s latest effort “Get In There”.

It appears he’s on his way to having another viral record with this one. That’s thanks to his blunt and aggressive bars, the memorable claps on the instrumental, and a vulgar GloRilla feature. Speaking of the Memphis star, you could view this as her returning the favor. Real Boston Richey lent his talents to a track off her recent Ehhthang Ehhthang mixtape. Overall, both tracks are winners, but “Get In There” might get the slight nod. See what you think though, with the music video link below.

Lil Tecca Flexes His Array Of Women On “TASTE”

After dropping TEC at the start of fall in 2023, Lil Tecca is gearing up for another release less than a year later. The Queens, New York multi-hyphenate (rapper, singer, producer, songwriter) began the rollout for Plan A loosely just a month after ending his year two album hiatus. He didn’t leave much to the imagination, simply stating, “new album”, via X. However, fans wouldn’t get the first two promo tracks until May 3 with “Number 2 / Never Last”. Now, though, things appear to be ramping up as Lil Tecca has just put out “TASTE”.

-According to Genius, this track is the 21-year-old’s most prized possession. “[It’s} my favorite song i ever made in my life”, Tecca said in a post to TikTok. With such high respect coming from the artist himself, what makes “TASTE” tick? Well, Tecca, once again, has crafted a pretty easy-to-follow melody to pair with an addicting instrumental. The latter is very chill and summery and allowing for the “500lbs” hitmaker to find an equally smooth pocket. On this track, he explains to the viewer, as well as any potential lady willing to shoot their shot, that he’s not the easiest to hold down. He loves to explore his options and brags about the idea that he can dabble with multiple types of women.

Kodak Black Seeks Violence On Ominous “Hit Stick”

Kodak Black is daring anyone and everyone to step to him if they wish on his latest single “Hit Stick”. This track is immediately following up on a handful massive features. The most recent are for Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s VULTURES 2 and you can hear him on “FIELD TRIP”, as well as the YEEZY.com exclusive “DRUNK”, which also features Peso Pluma. Going back just a little further to June, him and Don Toliver’s “BROTHER STONE” showed that these two starkly different artists could coexist. Also, in that same month, Kodak and his Vulture Love signees would put out their first posse tape Vulture Love Presents: The Last Zombies on Earth.

So, yes, the Florida rapper has been busy lending his time to other artists as of late. Because of this, possibly, Kodak Black felt the need to come back hollering on “Hit Stick”. Here, you’re getting nothing but the business from the MC as he dishes out threats to his enemies. “Blitz a n**** s***, hit stick tackle
Soon as the Spyder whip, get off the streets, swing it right after, mm / I get on a bih, nothin’ make me back up / Think I got a bih, oh, he sleep, come here, boy, smack ’em
“. This intimidation display is done over an epically dark and grand instrumental with ear-piercing string sections. Kodak is definitely back, that is for certain.

Asake & Travis Scott Get “Active” On Latest Single From The Afrobeats Star’s Upcoming Album

Travis Scott is an artist known for crossing over into genres from foreign countries and that’s what he’s doing here with Asake. The latter is a big name in the Nigerian Afrobeats space and their new single together, “Active”, which is also their first, is going to be on Lungu Boy. That is Asake’s forthcoming fifth studio album and it will be available on streaming on August 9. It will feature a 15-song set, as well as other guest appearances from the likes of Central Cee, Stormzy, and LUDMILLA. The Cench collaboration, “Wave”, was released on June 20 and it serves as the lead single. That track has been blowing up, and it currently sits at over 21 million streams.

On “Active”, Asake and Travis Scott are certainly doing just that over a lively and bouncy beat. Both offer up slick flows in their native languages. However, Scott does show love to Ikeja, the capital city of Lagos State, in his verse. “I just hopped off from the PJ, from the H to Ikeja (Uh)“. However, after emitting tons of energy on the first half, the track slows down in the last quarter or so. It abruptly transitions into a spacey outro from MIKE DEAN and Asake caps that section off with some braggadocio. With already over a million views on YouTube, this track figures to be another hit for Asake, as well as a standout feature for La Flame in 2024.

Logic Reflects On How His Past Has Shaped Him On “Teleport”

Logic fans will soon be able to finally feast on Ultra 85. After several years in the making, the Maryland product is going to be dropping it this Friday, August 9. With him taking so much time on this quasi sequel to 2017’s Everybody, you would think that the hype would be non-existent. However, it seems that the opposite is quite true. Fans are really digging his flows and production so far, with “Mission Control” perhaps being the favorite of the bunch so far. But, “Teleport”, Logic’s fifth and final teaser, is certainly giving it a run for its money right now.

Throughout his extensive career, he has never shied away from talking about his rough upbringing. “Teleport” is one of those very tracks, as he travels back in time to key moments during his childhood on the fourth verse in particular. Logic recalls not growing up without a male figure in his household, having little money, being molested, struggling to stay in school, as well as his family’s run-ins with law. However, he ends off “Teleport” on a positive note as he recalls all of his biggest accomplishments like starting a family and becoming a major success story in hip-hop. Logic is making a great impression right now and it feels like the anticipation for Ultra 85 is at its peak.

Boldy James & Tee Grizzley Tag Team A Luxurious Trap Beat From Harry Fraud On “Cecil Fielder”

There is no stopping Boldy James. The Detroit, Michigan MC, one who embodies the hardcore subgenre, is back with yet another single. It comes just a few days after the YouTube exclusive release of “10 Pints”. It’s a reuniting of legends, as him and The Alchemist pick up right up where they left off a few years ago. Now, the East Coast figure is rekindling his relationship with New York producing vet Harry Fraud. Boldy James is also bringing his Detroit brethren Tee Grizzley along for the ride, as they drop “Cecil Fielder”.

Something that Harry and Boldy do not share is an album. The latter has plenty with other producers, so with “Cecil Fielder” being their song, the hope is that this a lead single. As per usual, Fraud lays down another incredible instrumental that equal parts grand and gritty. The elegant string and horn sections intertwined with the trap drums lead to one heck of an extravagant vibe. Additionally, Boldly and Tee display that thy have something to build on outside of their same-city connection. This is hands down one of the former’s best tracks of 2024.
