Pusha T On Why Other Artists Keep Dissing Him: “They’re All Panicking”

Pusha T says that artists who have dissed him over the years have done so out of desperation. He discussed his various feuds throughout his career with GQ during a new interview with the outlet. The piece comes following Pusha’s recent back-and-forth with Jim Jones.

“You have to look at who’s the talker,” Pusha T said while discussing the recent shots fired his way. “When you look at who’s the talker and you look at what they’ve done and who they are and what they offer to you, it’s funny. I’ve been in this game for a minute, and I’ve watched the game, and I’ve watched people at their highs and at their lows. And, mind you, most people are chasing things I’ve never chased in hip-hop.”

Pusha continued: “I’ve never chased hit records. I’ve never chased anything but having incredible albums. So I’m not even surprised at the way people speak about me or whatever the case may be right now. It’s like I’m watching these guys panic. You know what I’m saying? They’re all panicking and then they’re trying to figure out, ‘Wait a minute, how is this guy turning the corner and I’m not?’”

Elsewhere in the interview, Pusha T discussed his plans for new music and even admitted that he doesn’t feel his solo work has lived up to the albums he put out as a part of Clipse. He and No Malice premiered an unreleased collaboration, earlier this year, that featured a response to Jim Jones, after the Dipset rapper criticized his impact on hip-hop. Usher Taps Keke Palmer To Star In New “Boyfriend” Music Video

Keke Palmer is teaming up with Usher to turn some real life drama into a new music video. Last month the pair were wrapped up in a news story together when a dress Palmer wore to one of the R&B legend’s shows in Vegas got some surprising attention. The drama was sparked by Keke’s partner Darius Jackson who took issue with her outfit in a series of social media posts. Now, they’re making the most of the high profile drama.

Usher just dropped his new single “Boyfriend,” his third new song of 2023. For the video he fittingly nabbed Keke. In the accompanying video the pair have a chance encounter in where else but Las Vegas. Even the lyrics of the song itself seem to reference the viral drama. Throughout the song Usher makes references to somebody’s boyfriend looking for him, presumably because of perceived advances he’s making on girls. Check out the perfect new video below.

Usher And Keke Palmer Keep It Real

Though Usher hasn’t released a new album since 2018, he’s stayed busy. “Boyfriend” is his third new song this year and second release in just the past few weeks. Back in March of this year he opened his 2023 with the non-album single “GLU.” Earlier this month, he teamed up with Summer Walker and 21 Savage for a new single called “Good Good.” Subsequently the song instantly became a success debuting at number 68 in its first week on the charts.

Last month, Usher announced that he has a new album on the way soon. He previewed a song called “Comin Home” which is expected to appear on the project. It is a tribute album to Takeoff, whom he spent so much of his time with. Although the Migos rapper has suffered immense tragedy, he is now looking to channel that pain into his music. Fans are expecting a truly fantastic album, and there is no doubt that Take will be proud of it. That said, the release date is two days away, and the anticipation continues to mount.

Ahead of this release, Quavo has been spending a lot of time in his hometown of Atlanta. He went to the Beyonce concert the other night, and he has also been hosting pop-ups. Last night, however, the artist spent his time at an Atlanta Braves game. The team is one of the best in Major League Baseball right now, and they were taking on the New York Yankees. In fact, the Braves came through with a solid 5-0 victory. Although, this was not the highlight of the night. Instead, it was Quavo’s performance on top of the dugout.

Above, you can see the artist deliver a great one-minute rendition of his new song “Who Wit Me.” This song is an emotional one as it speaks directly to the passing of Takeoff. The track sounds great, and we cannot wait to hear the studio version, which will be dropping on Friday alongside Rocket Power. As for the crowd, they seemed to be into the performance as all 40,000 fans in attendance let out a cheer at the end. For Quavo, this must have been an amazing feeling.

Lil Tecca Teases New BNYX-Produced Track

Lil Tecca recently gave fans a sneak peek at the new BNYX-produced track he’s been working on. In the clip shared from DJ Akademiks’ page, the 20-year-old rapper looks eager to share what he’s been working on. However, fans seem divided on its quality. “This n*gga sounds the same in every song. He suffers from the dominque jones syndrome,” one fan commented.

“Those record company streaming bots is going to be the only things bumping this,” another person wrote, whereas one fan offered a different perspective: “Ohhh brother i swear yall the same ones saying that music b sounding the same and when someone drops something a lil different from all the shit we hear yall say its trash. This song dont even sound terrible.”

The track’s reported producer BNYX (pronounced Benny X), has previously worked with several industry heavyweights. Among the artists on the list are Drake, Lil Uzi Vert, Travis Scott, and more. It is unclear when the track will be released, but hopefully, the finished product will help fans decide whether they like it. Lil Tecca has yet to reveal anything else about the tune. The upcoming track has not been discussed by BNYX either.

Earlier this year, the rapper was roasted for sampling Brandy and Monica’s 90s hit, “That Boy Is Mine.” Overall, the sample contributes to a pretty woozy and low-key cut with minimal drum patterns that are mostly carried by Tecca’s vocal delivery. Unfortunately for him, fans are tired of sample songs being so prevalent and “mid” in today’s hip-hop landscape. Of course, sampling is nothing new in the genre, as much as people like to complain about their prolificacy. In fact, sampling is considered a foundation of hip-hop by most leading figures, fans, and other community members. However, there have been a lot of hit rap songs that use sampling as a way to boost their track’s profile or entice more listeners into tuning in.

Mid-way through the summer, Choppa began teasing a new track that finds him putting his spin on Nelly’s “Hot In Herre.” While “It’s Getting Hot” has gotten mixed reviews from listeners on the internet so far, the lyricist is feeling more confident than ever, according to one of his recent tweets.

“I’M THE GREATEST,” NLE declared on Monday (August 14) afternoon. “Y’ALL COUNTED ME OUT, NOW THEY LOST COUNT. I DO THIS TIME AND TIME AGAIN, HIT AFTER HIT, SONG AFTER SONG. DON’T PLAY WITH ME. “Not to be dramatic when I say this but this might be the worst song of 2023,” one Twitter user dissed NLE’s work in late July. Rather than getting defensive or lashing out at his haters, the Cottonwood artist responded back with a string of “” emojis, making it clear that he finds humour in those attempting to tear him down. Even if not all listeners are feeling his new take on a classic, Nelly at least gave Choppa a shoutout on social media, cementing his all-important seal of approval.

Polo G Sports Elaborate New Chain And Announces Next Album

Polo G has officially confirmed when fans will be able to hear his next album. The “Pop Out” rapper last dropped a new album in 2021 with the highly successful Hall Of Fame. The album had an elaborate and incredibly impressive feature list. The Kid LAROI, Lil Durk, Lil Wayne, Scorey, G Herbo, Rod Wave, DaBaby, Young Thug, Roddy Rich, Nicki Minaj, Pop Smoke, and Fivio Foreign round out the stacked tracklist. The project spawned hit songs like “RAPSTAR” and “Epidemic,” and it left fans eagerly awaiting a follow-up.

Now, in a new YouTube livestream Polo G shared some plenty of information with fans. First, he revealed that his upcoming fourth album is going to be called Hood Poet but that wasn’t all he announced. He also confirmed to fans when they’ll be able to hear the album. Hood Poet will officially drop on September 15, exactly one month from today. Throughout the rest of the livestream, they played previews of some songs that will appear on the album.

Polo G also showed off an amazing new chain he had made to commemorate the album’s release. The weighty blue piece features a series of elaborate blue heart designs alongside the name of the album. The news comes after rumors had been swirling of Polo G’s return for weeks. Fans first realized they could be in for new music soon when lyric posters began to pop up all over social media. We saw the co-parents unfollow each other in the hours after everything went down. Some subliminal shots were also later thrown by both parties.

Knowing Palmer, it’s unlikely that she’ll tell the internet any more than they need to know about what went down between her and Leodis’ dad – at least not until she’s ready. For his part, Usher has been sharing his thoughts in recent interviews, but on Tuesday (August 15) we got further clarity when both artists announced that they’ll be dropping a new visual called “Boyfriend” tomorrow (August 16).

It’s unclear if we’ll hear any vocals from her following her Big Boss visual album on this single, but regardless, the internet is already certain she’ll eat up her starring role in the video.

After being labelled a “domestic terrorist” by some, Usher is now also being dubbed a “menace,” among other things, in his comments section. Coi Leray Announces New EP Coming Soon

Earlier this year Coi Leray dropped her sophomore album Coi. The project featured David Guetta, Saucy Santana, Giggs, Lola Brooke, James Brown, and Skillibeng. Unfortunately, the album didn’t sell nearly the numbers that some had hoped. Coi debuted at number 102 on the Billboard 200 after its first week with just 10k in sales. But that hasn’t stopped her from working on new material. In a new Instagram post she told fans exactly what they can expect from her next.

In a new video posted to Instagram, Coi Leray shared the results of an elaborate video shoot. The gorgeous final project had fans stunned, but it wasn’t the only thing the post had to offer. In the caption she confirmed what she’s currently working on. “Blue Moon EP loading 6 songs ” the caption of the post reads. One of the top comments on the post seems to say what everyone is thinking. “This girl ain’t playin fair. Straight up,” it reads.

Despite her underwhelming album sales, Coi Leray has still had a solid 2023 with her singles. Her song “Players” was one of the bigger rap hits of the first few months of the year. Later she teamed up with David Guetta and Anne-Marie for the track “Baby Don’t Hurt Me.” The song stuck in the Hot 100 for months and racked up 200 million streams on Spotify.

In a snippet Coi Leray shared on TikTok last month she appears to throw shade at Latto. The diss came as a response to a lyric that Latto wrote about Coi which was included in her hit song “Put It On Da Floor Again.” It’s unclear whether or not the song from the snippet will be included on the EP, but fans have continually sided with Latto in any interaction between the two.
