Travis Scott Previews New Song At “Circus Maximus” Afterparty

Travis Scott dropped a short snippet of a new song during an afterparty during his Circus Maximus Tour. The track had a slow, laid-back beat. Furthermore, it appeared to incorporate a sample of an eagle screech into the track before the vocals began. At this time, no other details about the song are available.

There are eight stops left on his Circus Maximus Tour, which has been ongoing since October 2023. Penn State, Milwaukee, St. Paul, Chicago, Columbus, Miami, and Orlando will also host tour stops across the rest of January. However, the tour will end with a February 3 show in St. Louis. Originally, the tour would have ended in Orlando. However, the January 3 show in St. Louis was rescheduled to the end of the tour.

Meanwhile, a pair of Air Jordans that Scott gave to a fan during Rolling Loud Germany recently sold for nearly $10,000 at auction. The shoes were sold through Goldin Auctions for $9760 after a 29-bid auction in December 2023. This saw the lot fall just shy of the $10,000 estimate Goldin had given it. Scott had gifted the shoes to an Egyptian fan after bringing the man up on stage. It was one of several impromptu clothing giveaways Scott did in his pre-Utopia festival circuit.

As mentioned, it wasn’t the first time that Scott gave away his shoes over the summer. Earlier in July, at Longitude Festival in Dublin, Scott got up close and personal with the throbbing mass of fans at the barricade. Picking out one fan in particular, Scott began to rap back and forth with the fan, who eagerly responded. The back-and-forth continued, with Scott getting more and more hyped up about the interaction. When the verse ended, Scott pulled off his shirt, an unreleased Utopia merch item, as well as his Air Jordans. Fighting back the sea of grabbing hands, Scott handed the items to the fan he had rapped with.

Blueface Brings Attention To Latest Arrest With New Project “Free Blueface”

Blueface was recently handcuffed once again. This time it is circling his partners Chrisean Rock and Jaidyn Alexis, according to HipHopDX, his mother, Karlissa Saffold, and numerous other sources. The California native, rapper, and MILF Music founder could face at least 12 months behind bars. His manager, Wack 100, posted an image that said “Free Blueface” on it with a previous mugshot to his Instagram yesterday. Reports are assuming this is surrounding his probation violation.

Fans were speculating that this was a project artwork. One commented under Wack’s post, “It looked like marketing for an album cover.” Another added, “Whole time it’s an album cover.” Well, those guesses were correct. Free Blueface features seven tracks with features from DDG, Kevin Gates, TruCarr, and YungMagnificent.

Blueface Drops New EP After Arrest

Blueface’s recent arrest for apparent parole violations is still pretty unclear, but folks are reacting to so many different angles for it. For example, there’s his baby mamas’ reactions, his mother’s reaction, his manager, and a whole slew of other pop culture happenings he was involved in that now seemingly took a long pause. However, it’s clear that the California rapper’s set on profiting off of this as much as he can, and what better way to do so than some music? Moreover, he just dropped the Free Blueface EP, a seven-track, 16-minute offering of West Coast jams and more traditional trap cuts.

Furthermore, features include DDG and Kevin Gates, plus Tru Carr and YungMagnificent. As far as its quality, Blueface is really doing the same thing he’s always done here, so if you’ve liked him before, you might find something to enjoy. Of course, as of late, he had dedicated himself more to pushing his own artists (mainly his baby mamas) rather than developing his own musical career. One of these is Jaidyn Alexis, who is currently beefing with the 26-year-old’s mother Karlissa Saffold once again thanks to this arrest.

In other news, it seems like his reality TV show is still happening despite this recent arrest, as Zeus Network still rolled out Rap Queens West. The “BDD” MC will accept auditions from various female rappers, and we know how that went for him in the past. Regardless, the winner will receive a whopping $1 million payout, plus a deal with MILF Music courtesy of Zeus and the label. He’s still looking for his next talent, even if the Free Blueface suggests that his own artistic days are likely mostly behind him.

1999 WRITE THE FUTURE Collab With Rick Ross & Rich Brian For “Light Rails” Produced By Redveil

You might want to start paying attention to 1999 WRITE THE FUTURE. Run by music labels 88rising and RCA Records, it is a freshly created collective that began releasing singles in October 2023. Rich Brian, Zion. T and Warren Hue headlined their first effort “WORLD STOP TURNING.” The track HNHH got a chance to speak about was “MiNt cHoCoLaTe” with Conway the Machine, Westside Gunn, and jazz band BADBADNOTGOOD.

However, after that point, 1999 worked with Eyedress on Run the Fade on January 5. For this latest entry, 88rising signee Rich Brian returns for “LiGhT rAiLs.” He raps viciously alongside Rick Ross, whom he has collaborated with in the past on a DJ Snake track called “Run It.” Besides these two talented MCs, redveil is another big draw here.

The UK native has just rolled out his brand-new movie, The Book of Clarence, and its accompanying soundtrack. Over the past couple of months, the updates surrounding these pieces of art have gotten plenty of people intrigued. That is especially true for music fans because JAY-Z had a major hand in putting this together.

Hov is the executive producer for the album and film and he did a great job in doing all of that. JAY and Roc Nation were able to recruit loads of talent for the sonics. You can find Lil Wayne, Doja Cat, and Kodak Black, across the tape. In fact, Jay-Z also hit the studio to record a unique verse for “I Want You Forever.” He is alongside the legend of neo-soul, D’Angelo to create a funky and wavy ballad.

There are so many layers to the song, even with the lyrics being fairly minimal outside of JAY’s portion. Oh, the song is also nine-plus minutes, but JAY is used to that, and we do not mind it.
