If you are looking to find some new music to switch up your 20-song rotation, look no further than 1999 WRITE THE FUTURE. This hip-hop collective has been picking up steam over the past month and a half or so. They have been frequently dropping singles with various artists. 1999 likes to experiment with their sounds and it makes them a unique prospect.

Some of the tracks that have caught our attention from them include “LiGhT RAiLs” with Rick Ross and Rich Brian. This may be the biggest banger they have dropped and it features a killer soul/trap beat from redveil. We also thoroughly enjoyed “MiNt cHoCoLaTe.” That featured jazz ensemble BADBADNOTGOOD, Westside Gunn, as well as Conway the Machine.

Stove God Cooks is one of those artists who needs to drop more often. He is on one of the more prolific record labels going right now, Griselda. The Syracuse MC has only been in the game since the start of the pandemic in 2020. However, his fellow rap members like Conway the Machine, Benny The Butcher, and Westside Gunn are always dropping.

Hopefully, 2024 will finally be the year Stove God Cooks shows off his full array of talents on a debut album. He does have a project under his belt, though. He worked alongside Roc Marciano to drop Reasonable Drought. In the last year or so, Stove God has been a part of two singles. One of which was for Benny’s fantastic release from a couple of weeks ago, Everybody Can’t Go.

D4vd Delivers Emo Alternative Cuts On His Two Pack “Withering”

D4vd’s growth as an artist has been nothing short of incredible. The Darkroom signee is still just 18 years old and has a copius amount of hits already. His debut EP Petals to Thorns holds five of the 10 most popular song spots on his Spotify. The highest-streamed track from that tape, “Here With Me,” is over 900 million plays.

However, that still is not even close to his most played song. “Romantic Homicide” posseses that title with 68 million more listens. His alternative, rock, emo style has captivated so many fans, 24 million plus to be exact. Since 2021, d4vd has not put out a full-length record. Hopefully, that happens this year, especially after dropping two new tracks today.

“BOZO”: Kaliii’s New Single Is A Pre-Valentine’s Breakup Anthem

For her first single of 2024, Atlanta’s Kaliii is making a bold return with “BOZO,” which celebrates the femcee regaining her freedom after ending a toxic relationship.

“Last night me and that ni**a broke up / I’m outside, man, that ni**a f**ked up,” the Toxic Chocolate artist says on her first verse, not holding back from the jump. “That ni**a striked out, he done played again / Caught him with a h* in her baby ass Benz,” Kaliii continues, seemingly insinuating that cheating lead to her relationship’s demise.

According to Uproxx, “BOZO” will appear on the tracklist for Kaliii’s upcoming spring EP. One of the most intriguing rappers from the UK area is back to bring something fresh to her discography. We are talking about London’s Little Simz. Arguably the best the country has to offer, the soon-to-be 30-year-old is always blending creative instrumentals with pinpoint lyricism. If you have the mindset that female rappers these days are trash, just check out a Little Simz project. She is as close as a sure thing gets with every release. The amount of effort that goes into each song is something to behold.

Little Simz dropped her last full-length record just a little over a year ago with NO THANK YOU. It was a terrific listen that quickly became an album of the year candidate right before the end of 2022. Simz had some beautiful songs about being comfortable with yourself and loving everything about you. Today though, she is adding onto a series that she started in the early stages of her career.

Just the other day, Kanye West came out and revealed that three volumes of Vultures would be released. Overall, these projects will be released on February 9th, March 8th, and April 5th, respectively. For now, we don’t know too much about the project. However, it does seem like it is closer than ever before.

One great way of knowing that this is the case is the fact that the lead single “Vultures” now has a music video. The video was directed by Kanye himself, as well as Aus Taylor and Onda. Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign will be dropping off Vultures on Friday. Overall, this is going to be one of the biggest albums of the entire year. However, it is unknown if it will actually come out on time. Furthermore, this is just the first volume. Yesterday, Ye dropped the music video for “Talking / Once Again.” The first of these tracks featured none other than North West.

Tonight, Kanye and Ty will be at the United Center in Chicago where they will offer a listening party for the new album. Last night, it was revealed that there would actually be another big release party. This time around, it will take place on Friday night at the UBS Arena in New York. The album will already be out by then, however, this is still a unique experience for fans who want to go. Unfortunately, it is going to be expensive. According to BrooklynVegan, tickets start at $140 USD. Considering how TicketMaster works, those prices could skyrocket based on early demand.
