The Game Joins Forces With STB Label For “Time” Project

With The Game being in the game (pun intended) for so long, he has seen quite a bit throughout his career. To be exact, his career spans over 21 years and his catalog may be in contention for the most expansive out of any rapper. In that two-decade long span, the 44-year-old has worked with many artists as you may expect. Instead of just grabbing features for his albums, he has gone out and released compilation records, too. One that hardcore Game fans might know is his 2003 tape, QB 2 Compton Ringtones. That saw cuts from Nas, and one from San Quinn. Fast forward to June 7 and The Game is adding another project of that vein with Time.

This mixtape follows his January 1 release with Hit-Boy and Big Hit, Paisley Dreams. Hit is a veteran and also roughly from the same area, so working with him made a lot of sense. This time though, The Game is teaming up with the younger generation of MCs. Those include Woodboy Gee, C Stunna, Stunna 4 Vegas, and CHLLER. Vegas and Gee are STB (Secure The Bag Entertainment) signees, which Time was released through. The Game does not appear until track six, “I Feel Like A Dope Boy”, but the other cast members keep the energy high with accessible trap bangers. In addition to providing vocals, he also is credited as an executive producer alongside CEO of STB, Ryan Kane.

The Game’s New Project “Time” Is Now Available For Pre-Save

The Game has been making plenty of headlines lately, though most of them have surrounded his beef with Rick Ross and other controversial antics. Now, however, the hitmaker is gearing up to unleash a new mixtape. He took to Instagram to share the news earlier today, confirming that Time will drop this Thursday at midnight.

He unveiled the cover art alongside the release date, also adding a pre-save link for fans looking to get in first. “An STB x Game mixtape vibe for those who need new music. #Time available now on all platforms,” he captioned the post. Of course, followers have now flooded his comments section with big reactions to the exciting announcement. “Let’s go it’s game time,” one supporter writes. “Let’s Go Game!” another says.

Time Drops This Thursday At Midnight

The Game has yet to unveil an official tracklist for the project at the time of writing, though he did tag Woodboy Gee, Stunna 4 Vegas, and more in his post, hinting that they may be featured on the project. Time will follow the release of various collaborative singles, as well as his scathing Rick Ross diss track, “Freeway’s Revenge.” It arrived as a result of Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s viral lyrical battle, in which Rick Ross sided with K-Dot. The Game sided with Drizzy, on the other hand, which ultimately created some tension.

Rick Ross has yet to respond to The Game’s diss, instead laughing it off in a short Instagram video. The “How We Do” rapper alleges that Ross actually had a response prepared, however, and simply decided not to drop it out of fear. Are you looking forward to hearing The Game’s upcoming project, Time, once it finally drops? What features are you hoping to see on the new project? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Sexyy Red Will Never Stop Turning Heads With Songs Like “Lick Me” Featuring Lil Baby

Theneedledrop, also known as Anthony Fantano, made a keen observation in his recent review of In Sexyy We Trust by Sexyy Red. During his soliloquy he applauded the St. Louis, Missouri rapper for being able to follow up Hood Hottest Princess with another high energy project. Furthermore, Fantano had to give kudos also for the fact that the raunchiness was somehow taken up another step. Part of the reason he felt that way was because of “Lick Me” featuring Lil Baby.

This is Sexyy Red’s take on get extremely intimate, which is essentially getting as nasty as possible. “D**k so good, I wanna have his son / Drink that c*m ’til it make me drunk,” are just one of many outlandish sets of bars. “Drillin’ your s***, you like, “Why is you doin’ this?” / Make you c*m first, bae, I know not to ruin this / Go get a towel, you know how your fluids get, squirt.” Beyond the insanely absurd lyrics, though, the song is decent.

Listen To “Lick Me” By Sexyy Red & Lil Baby

The beat is definitely interesting, as it incorporates some woozy and sleepy sound effects. In terms of the flows from Red and Baby they fit the melody pretty snuggly. But overall, the song is definitely more memorable for shock factor and not much else. However, as long as she can continue to find new ways to deliver her music, she will be around for a long time.

What are your thoughts on “Lick Me” by Sexyy Red and Lil Baby? Is this her raunchiest song to date? If not, what are you putting over it? How do you think she handled creating a sexy slow jam? What is your favorite aspect of it? Who had the more memorable performance and why? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Future Promises He Won’t Sleep Until His New Mixtape Is Done

Future says he won’t be sleeping until he finishes his upcoming mixtape. He teased the release of the project in a post on X (formerly Twitter) early Tuesday morning. “I can’t sleep until it’s complete #MIXTAPEPLUTO,” he wrote. The mixtape will come just months after Future teamed up with Metro Boomin for the collaborative albums, We Don’t Trust You and We Still Don’t Trust You.

In the replies to his post, fans expressed their excitement for new music. “Future keeps dropping albums like rent due and I’m here for it,” one fan remarked. Another requested: “Link with DJ Esco if you can, I miss those collabs.” Other users compared his current run to 2015 when he dropped, DS2, 56 Nights, and Beast Mode.

Future previously told fans he’d be releasing the mixtape on May 10th but the date came and went without a new project. Instead, he appeased fans by sharing a new single with Tee Grizzley titled “Swear to God.” Check out his latest comment on his next mixtape below.

Future Teases His Upcoming Mixtape

Both We Don’t Trust You and We Still Don’t Trust You debuted atop the US Billboard 200. The albums featured appearances from The Weeknd, Travis Scott, Playboi Carti, Kendrick Lamar, and many more artists while simultaneously kicking off several beefs with Drake. While the Toronto rapper, Kendrick Lamar, Rick Ross, and more have dropped further diss tracks, Future has remained silent. Drake even suggested that Metro Boomin played a hand in pressuring him to sign on to the feud. “Pluto sh*t make me sick to my stomach, we ain’t never really been through it,” he raps on “Family Matters.” Be on the lookout for further updates on Future on HotNewHipHop.

Baby Jungle Carries His Own Weight On Stacked Debut Project “Jungle Book”

“I could be smooth and melodic or have some turned up level s***. I’m very versatile.” That is what rising Georgia rap star Baby Jungle told Hip Hop Since 1987 in a recent interview about his debut mixtape Jungle Book. “I feel like I have a unique sound. It’s the perfect mix of edgy flow patterns and melodies,” speaking with Kazi. “Different songs evoke different feelings.” Sometimes I want people to have fun and pop it… I want to encourage people where I’m from. Sometimes I want to help people dealing with depression.”

We can definitely see where Baby Jungle is coming from. In fact, we completely concur with the multi-hyphenate. His inspirations being Lil Baby, Juice WRLD, NBA YoungBoy, and Lil Durk makes sense. Across this impressively trim 12 song mixtape, Jungle mixes some beats and melodies that four of these rappers would deploy on their efforts.

That is especially the case on the backend of the record. Songs like “Frozen,” “Dark Clouds,” and “Never Run” are perfect examples of this varied skillset. Also helping get these visions on a fairly well-mixed record are the distributor(s) and his label, Epic Records. Furthermore, his talent is being recognized by some that either are established or almost there. DJ Drama, Rob49, Luh Tyler, are just a handful of them. This is definitely a great start for the youngster, and we definitely recommend hopping on the bandwagon now.

What are your thoughts on Never Gets Late Here by Baby Jungle? Do you think that this debut album has the ability to blow up Baby Jungle? Who had the strongest guest performance? Denzel Revives His 2012 Raider Klan Mixtape “King Of The Mischievous South Vol. 1 (Underground Tape 1996)”

Denzel Curry is taking us on a trip down memory lane by reissuing King Of The Mischievous South Vol. 1 (Underground Tape 1996). This is one of the Carol City, Florida native’s earliest bodies of work. In fact, this is a mixtape from the since disbanded group, Raider Klan. Curry left to forge his solo career in 2013, a little bit before the underground posse split.

King Of The Mischievous South would be one of his last efforts with them and it was made when he was an early teen. It dropped on Soundcloud back in 2012, but Curry has decided to bring it back. If you are not familiar with the Raider Klan’s sound, they draw a lot of inspiration from Memphis, especially Three 6 Mafia. However, there are also elements of Southern hip-hop, chopped and screwed, the 90s, and more.

Denzel does calls back to those sounds every once in a while on his newer projects. But King Of The Mischievous takes a full dive into those subgenres to great effect. Marketing this as a mixtape was the right call, as it rough around the edges. However, you can see that Zel had it like that even back then.

Sexyy Red Continues Her Dominant Run With “In Sexyy We Trust”

Just about a week ago, one of hip-hop’s leading ladies, Sexyy Red, announced her new tape In Sexyy We Trust. She revealed this information over social media and that it would arrive on Memorial Day weekend. This project, like Hood Hottest Princess, sees the St. Louis rapper try to improve on her ratchet trap sound which continues to grow in popularity. For the most part, she does while bringing some of her most memorable performances to date.

The mixtape begins with a hilarious rendition of the intro to “Love Sosa,” only this time it is some random British dude. Following that, she expertly follows up on that opening message by kicking the door down on “She’s Back.” Of course, the major talking point of In Sexyy We Trust is “U My Everything” featuring Drake. However, there is lot more to this 14-track offering than just that. For starters, you have the mixtape’s lead single “Get It Sexyy,” which fits perfectly into the tracklist and still hits hard.

“Outside,” produced by Mike WiLL Made-It, may leave your jaw on the floor with how ridiculous the pre-chorus is. You will just have to listen to that for yourself to truly understand its absurdity. On top that, you also have features from Lil Baby and VonOff1700. Overall, Sexyy is definitely the standout across the project, not letting guests or most beats outshine her. Be sure to check out the tape with the links above.

What are your thoughts on In Sexyy We Trust by Sexyy Red? Which songs are you gravitating toward the most right now? Who had the strongest feature on the tape? Drake Gets Petty, Raps Over “BBL DRIZZY” Beat On New Sexyy Red Collab “U My Everything”

Drake and Sexyy Red are back at it again. The controversial “two bad b****es” are furthering their chemistry and relationship on a new cut from In Sexyy We Trust. This a follow-up mixtape to the St. Louis native’s 2023 breakthrough, Hood Hottest Princess. It comes at an awkward time for each artist, as she has been tied into some disses from the Drake and Kendrick Lamar beef. But Red has not let those distractions get to her, as she is arguably at the peak of her powers.

“Get It Sexyy” has quickly become an anthem for this year and the number of features she has provided, especially for Chief Keef, have been a big deal. Now, she can “U My Everything” to that growing list of accomplishments. She managed to get Drake first before anyone else could since the beef, as he seems to be ready to work on new endeavors. These two have created some interesting tracks together, to say the say the least. But this one may take the cake.

Listen To “U My Everything” By Sexyy Red & Drake

Both play into the absurdity of the record, with Sexyy Red purposefully singing poorly at the start. It is quite hilarious, and it makes a callback to the Rolling Loud performance from this year. Then, there’s Drake who plays into the “BBL DRIZZY” accusations halfway through his verse. “Me and the surgeon got history I changed a lot of girls’ lives for real / They need a new body, they hittin’ me, ayy / BBL Drizzy, they want a new body, they ask me for it.” The wild part about this is when these bars drop, the Tay Keith beat switches up to the Metro Boomin diss instrumental “BBL DRIZZY BPM 150.mp3.” It certainly a petty thing for him to do, but it is Drizzy’s MO.

What are your thoughts on “U My Everything” by Drake and Sexyy Red? Is this the best track from In Sexyy We Trust, why or why not? Do you think this was a chess move for Drake to rap over “BBL DRIZZY?” Do you see Metro Boomin responding to this at all? Who had the stronger performance? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Or maybe you go to Saint Martin with me if these n****s take break and quit startin’ with me
Maybe we go to Saint Kitts

Ian Is Quickly Blowing Up Thanks To His Debut Mixtape “Valedictorian”

Ian is a new face to the HNHH website, and we feel we are covering him at the appropriate time. The youngster hails from Dallas, Texas and seems to be grab sound cues from some of the more influential figures we have going right now. The two artists we could pick up on include Playboi Carti and Yeat. On his debut mixtape, Valedictorian, ian rides trap beats that like to include some killer synths all while rocking a flow that sounds like the aforementioned artists combined.

Valedictorian was announced in wholesome, yet hilarious fashion, as the rapper invited his grandmother and mother to reveal the exciting news. When you first get a look at ian, he does not present as your typical rapper. He comes across as an extremely privileged kid, especially with his yacht club-inspired attire. But when we listened to this project, we were completely floored in a good way.

He knows how to create straight bangers with some hilariously blunt similes like on “AirBinB,” for example. “Huh, all that tough talk just not scary to me (Just not scary at all) / That is not your house, that’s an AirBnB, huh.” Ian has been receiving a lot of high-profile co-signs from Metro Boomin, Drake, Cole Bennett, Lil Yachty, and more. May be there is a reason why he has supposedly been shutting down streets in New York City (according to SK POP).

What are your thoughts on this brand-new album Valedictorian by ian? Which songs are you gravitating toward the most right now? Does ian have what it takes to make it in hip-hop after hearing this? Courtney Bell Calls On Detroit Icon Royce Da 5’9″ To Help Release “Microdose”

2020 was the last year for a brand-new Courtney Bell project, but this weekend changed that with Microdose. The ultra-talented lyricist from Detroit, Michigan has been stirring up a lot of interest in this mixtape over the last few months. Most people were unaware that this tape’s rollout began back in late January with the now lead single “Westside.” It featured a fellow Motown legend Royce Da 5’9″ and most would reason that he was going to be just a feature.

However, the frequent Eminem collaborator has turned to have a much larger hand in this endeavor. If fact, this is listed as a joint project between Courtney and Royce. The latter has another three appearances across the 14-song tracklist. He can also be heard on “Bang,” “Get Em High” (another promo track), and “BANZ.”

Speaking of promo cuts, Courtney put forth four in total. We were able to take a listen to “Word II Conway” which does indeed feature Conway the Machine. Bell spoke with Audible Treats a few months ago about “Westside” and the sound he was wanting to bring to the modern era. “This record for me is a statement, not only for myself but for the Westside of my city of Detroit and everyone that comes from it. I was inspired to create something sonically that hasn’t really been heard of for my generation.” However, we would argue that Bell puts on for the city across the tape.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new album Microdose by Courtney Bell and Royce Da 5’9″? Which songs are you gravitating toward the most right now? Where do you rank this project amongst the rest in his discography? What song do you think is the best and why? Who had the strongest feature on the tape? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section.
