The NBA player wound up doing something different with his facial hair, and even decided to give himself a new nickname. Social media users couldn’t help but weigh in, and they were full of jokes.

“Bro, this is by far one of the funniest looks I’ve ever had,” he says in the clip. “This sh*t is crazy. Goatee Ky, you heard? That’s my new nickname. Peak handsomeness, peak handsomeness. Goatee Ky.” Several commenters note that he now resembles Denzel Washington’s character in the movie He Got Game. Others claim he’s “looking like a civil right activist in his prime.” Though most commenters compared him to old movie characters, there are a good amount of users who appreciate his new look. “He looks fine asf,” one writes, “bring back the wholesome cuts.”

Earlier this month, Irving debuted another new look when he shaved his usual beard completely off. Though he claims he “Needed to let it go,” many fans joked that he looked like a teenager again. He got some pushback from supporters, but Irving appeared to be feeling himself with his clean-shaven look. “I really feel like I’m heading into, you know, peak handsomeness,” he said in a clip.

“I’m heading into that generation,” he continued. “I’m heading in very smoothly, might I add. Like me shaving off my beard, right? Like, I finally can see my whole face, and I’m liking what I see.” He also added that he no longer needs to worry about “thirst-trapping” anyone, as he’s already married to Marlene Wilkerson. Coi Leray Teases Upcoming Project With Sultry New Look On Instagram

With her second album COI arriving on June 23, Coi Leray is in heavy promo mode for her next moves. As such, she’s probably very busy shooting visuals, taking press deals, and apparently debuting new looks like the one she just teased. Moreover, the rapper posted an Instagram Reel of her getting ready for what seems like a shoot, whether for a music video or something else entirely. Foregoing her usual long locks, she apparently rocked a short haircut with curls as her team put some hairspray on. Looking sultrily at the camera as her single “Bops” played in the background, she said that there are “good things coming” very soon.

Of course, this is far from the first time that she teased some sort of visual for that song in particular. Just last weekend, Coi Leray and a couple of her friends put on a twerk show for the camera while “Bops” played, yet it’s unclear if it’ll be a part of the music video or if she just built some hype. Regardless, the 26-year-old keeps leveling up and making waves that set the stage for her next moves. We’re only a month away from COI‘s release, but we’re sure that there will be much more to cover from her in that meantime.

However, a lot of fans were left a little confused with the album’s tracklist, which the Boston native revealed on Monday (May 22). Furthermore, a lot of that confusion stems from the features, which don’t include the array of U.S. rappers and hitmakers that appeared on Coi Leray’s debut album Trendsetter. Rather, COI will bring on David Guetta, Saucy Santana, Giggs, Lola Brooke, Skillibeng, and none other than James Brown, somehow. All this points to more genre diversity, but singles like “Players” and the teased “Make My Day” (with Guetta) hint towards heavy sample use, plus a more electronic and dance-inspired direction.

No matter what you think of these teases, it’s clear that the “My Body” MC set herself up for a big splash. Whether she capitalized on the hype remains to be seen, but we’re sure that she’ll continue to make waves no matter what. Celebrity doppelgängers are always fun to see, but rarely do they get more than a moment of shine. Lil Durk’s lookalike Perkio, however, is circumventing that by looking to start his own rap career without riding off of Durk’s coattails. However, it seems like he’s aiming to do so with a pretty different look, too. Recently, the impersonator showed shorter black locks (Smurk ironically went back to black, as well, although not as short). In the video uploaded to his Instagram, he updated fans on what he’s up to, like music videos, and letting them know there are some big things to come.

Still, there was a point in time where Perkio was saying things that were a little too close to The Voice. One instance surrounds the Chicago MC’s relationship with India Royale, which has seen its fair share of ups, downs, and pleas to make up. Despite Lil Durk still wanting to be with her, Perkio said that because Smurk is single, he’s single. Maybe since then he’s made more different decisions and followed a distinct path that isn’t bound by his lookalike.

An edited photo of Frank Ocean with long hair surfaced online, earlier this week, prompting plenty of reactions on Twitter as well as a debate over whether the look is even real. The excitement began when a Frank Ocean fan account tweeted the picture, claiming that the singer shared it with his “close friends” on Instagram.

“This man only comes back when he need a reup on money .. then he disappears again for 4-5 year.. rinse & repeat,” one fan wrote in response to the picture. Another added: “Frank Lion boutta drop a Reggae album,” one fan wrote, playing on Snoop Dogg’s reggae alias Snoop Lion,” making reference to Snoop Dogg’s R&B alias Snoop Lion. The rumored new hairstyle for Ocean comes as fans anticipate new music from the elusive singer. On a poster shared with one of his recent merch drops, Ocean explained that for the last several years he’s been interested in releasing singles as opposed to albums. That stance has since changed. Presenting the case of a fictitious “recording artist,” Ocean wrote: “The Recording Artist attempts to explain to the major music label the singles distribution model as opposed to the long-form album model. The Recording Artist believes the latter to be outdated, and that releasing singles is more suited to modern consumption habits where people curate their own playlists which are then shared within private circles. The meeting does not appear to be productive.” Ocean concludes by suggesting he “has since changed his mind about the singles model.” He adds that he’s once “again interested in more durational bodies of work.”

Moreover, Uzi and Carti are somewhat of artistic kindred spirits, working in similar genres around similar times. Gisele Bündchen just put on a stunning new look for her latest Vogue cover feature, her first since her divorce from Tom Brady. Moreover, she showed off her hair, painted a deep shade of red, and wore some subtle but eye-catching makeup. Furthermore, she tied it all together with a sheer red dress, and all those elements render her unrecognizable. Her look is all Maison Valentino with matching red nails, Kenneth Jay Lane earrings and Patricia von Musulin bracelets. Overall, her cover (which releases on February 28) stuck to “daring” as a theme, as more snaps from the magazine show some more crazy looks.

In addition to her literal cover image, the 42-year-old posed in a Saint Laurent lambskin jacket and a body-hugging viscose dress. Also, she made sure to accessorize in style with silver earrings and bracelets, both from Patricia Von Musulin as well.
