Katt Williams Regrets Michael Jackson Jokes And Thanks His Sister Janet For Her Grace

Even though Katt Williams became a staunchly outspoken comedic voice this year, he knows when he went too far and where he can continue to go full blast with his craft. Moreover, during a recent interview at the Vulture festival, he spoke on some jokes that he made in the past about Michael Jackson and how he feels kind of regretful about it. It’s unclear what jokes the comedian is specifically talking about when it comes to the King of Pop, but he spoke on how his work often falls victim to oppressive systems highlighting a Black man taking another Black man down.

“I shouldn’t have, honestly,” Katt Williams remarked concerning his Michael Jackson jokes. “Like, some of these things are the reason that the enemy decides to go ahead and let you be famous. It’s your ability to tear down your own kind no matter how high they are. On the other hand, my job is to be funny first and to voice the opinion of a group that doesn’t get to have their opinion out there, right? So as a Black man, if you don’t love yourself, you don’t love me.

Katt Williams Speaks On Michael Jackson Jokes

“So those were the jokes of a guy that was hurt, you know? By an icon,” Katt Williams continued about his Michael Jackson reflections before thanking the superstar’s singer for her grace. “And so I was telling those jokes. The fact that years later, Janet Jackson said she still loved me despite the jokes that I told about her brother is probably one of the most magnificent things, you know? Just because, I say a lot of hilarious s**t. But it costs me every time, you know? Like, I’m never unscathed in these situations.”

In other Katt Williams news, his comments about other Black comedians and the entertainment industry as a whole continue to draw a lot of controversy, conflict, and calls for peace. Faizon Love is one target of Williams’ who wants to put their issues aside and promote more interpersonal support among comics, especially in the Black community. We’ll see if there are any other jokes to walk back in the near future.

Eminem Shows Love To Cardi B And Reveals He Sees Himself In Her

Eminem recently joined his Shade 45 radio show on SiriusXM alongside DJ Whoo Kid and his manager Paul Rosenberg to chop it up and celebrate the holidays on Christmas Day (Wednesday, December 25). They talked about a lot of upcoming stuff, including a potential collab album between 50 Cent and Marshall Mathers, but they also reminisced on their long and illustrious careers. At one point during the conversation, Whoo Kid recalled how Cardi B used to go to the station all the time back when she was rising and rave about Slim Shady. Furthermore, for the Detroit lyricist, that’s a two-way street, as he made sure to give the Bronx femcee her due props.

“I love Cardi too,” Eminem expressed before Paul Rosenberg said that Cardi B “does not give a f**k.” “Not one,” Em responded. “She says exactly what’s on her mind and is not afraid of nobody,” Rosenberg posited. “I used to be like that,” Mathers added. It’s great to see this mutual love between these two lyricists, as they are two often bashed-on leaders in their respective fields that not many people might put in the same conversation.

Eminem Shouts Out Cardi B

In fact, this is also a notable crossover because of some rumors that emerged back in 2022 that Eminem declined to appear on Cardi B’s still-in-the-works sophomore album. “BIG LIES,” she responded via Twitter. “I get off the internet and ya makin s**t up. I haven’t sent no songs to no artist yet. Love his work and much respect. This don’t even make sense. Since they like to make up LIES about me cause their so obsessed just know this y’all laughing about this fake rumor but wait until y’all see these next collabs. Facts…I left for one day and they was like deum I miss the b***h let me make this lie up so I can have a reason to talk about her.”

Meanwhile, both artists are up for the Grammys next year, although Eminem and Cardi B aren’t putting all their chips in one basket. Well, let’s not speak for Cardi. Em posited that Kendrick Lamar deserves to sweep the awards, which we can’t hate on.

Lil Baby Reveals Where He & Gunna Stand

It’s no secret that Lil Baby and Gunna’s relationship has taken a major hit since the latter was accused of snitching on Young Thug. During a recent interview with Charlamagne Tha God, however, Lil Baby clarified exactly where they stand these days. The rapper was brutally honest with his explanation, confirming that he doesn’t see the two of them working together ever again. He also weighed in on social media users claiming that he won’t be able to create a hit without Gunna, arguing that this is not the case.

“I don’t got no relationship,” he began. “The internet will say anything… You know how many hits I got? That don’t even make sense.” Lil Baby continued, revealing that he doesn’t pay too much mind to what people online are saying anyway. “I only see what I gotta see, and I try my best to just keep going,” he said. “I don’t feed into that. I don’t read comments and all that. Some sh*t just be the headline and you gotta see it, but for the most part, I don’t even get into sh*t like that.”

Lil Baby Confirms He Has “No Relationship” With Gunna

Charlamagne went on to ask Lil Baby whether or not he’d consider working with Gunna if Young Thug wanted him to. “I dont’ see that happening,” he responded. “I don’t know what nobody else will do, but just as far as me.” This might not be the first time Lil Baby has spoken about Gunna recently. During his appearance on Lil Yachty’s A Safe Place podcast, he shared his thoughts on alleged snitches. While he didn’t name any names, the discussion led to speculation that he could have been referring to Gunna.

“Those kinds of morals [are] never going to leave,” he explained at the time. “I’m always gonna look at certain stuff a certain way […] It boils down to what we rapping about… We can’t rap about that if you did that. If I was making Christmas music, then I don’t give a damn what you did.”

Lil Baby Doesn’t Want His Kids To Be Online Despite Their Mothers’ Wishes

Lil Baby recently stopped by Lil Yachty’s podcast, A Safe Place, to talk about a whole lot of topics, including his upcoming albums for 2025. However, one of the more revealing and curious parts of the interview came when they discussed parenthood on social media, particularly the question of showing your kids off online. Baby isn’t really a big fan of this practice, despite his children’s mothers posting some of their kids online. However, he also made it clear that he talks with his sons about these topics to make sure that the online narratives don’t intrude on their well-being.

“I feel like the Internet is a crazy place,” Lil Baby remarked when asked about narratives around his parenting and his children on the Internet. “And if it was up to me, I wouldn’t put my children on the Internet for real, you know what I’m saying? But it is what it is. What I will say is, like, I’m from a different cloth. So certain s**t I don’t even play about. Nobody gon’ make a comment that they make on the Internet around me, never. It’s, like, I can’t really beat the Internet. So once I learned that, a lot of s**t bothered me when I see certain s**t, but it’s to the point where I’m so numb and void, I just tune it out.

Lil Baby Speaks On His Children & The Internet

“I had them personal talks with my kids,” Lil Baby continued. “Like, I explained some s**t to my sons, both of them. I could be recording them all day and putting them on the Internet. If it was up to me, I would go without having my children on the Internet, period. [The lack of control over that] don’t really bother me, it’s just, like, what I got to deal with. […] ‘Cause I’m just raw and uncut with them. But I’m saying, that’s the stuff we talk about. That’s what I talk to my sons about: when y’all in school, how to carry yourself, when y’all out, when people say certain stuff, when people do certain stuff. I have those real conversations, like, no edit.

“‘Cause it ain’t even no age,” Lil Baby concluded. “Jason nine, he damn near know everything I know. And Loyal, too. They got the Internet. I can’t even beat around the bush. Jason asking me the wildest s**t in the world. Loyal asking me the wildest s**t in the world. I got to tell them how it go. Especially seeing me too, because I’m not really too tough trying to hide.”

Trinity Rodman Rips Father Dennis Rodman’s Parenting In Scathing Interview: “He’s Not A Dad”

Trinity Rodman, the soccer star daughter of legendary NBA big man Dennis Rodman, is not pulling any punches on her “dad.” According to Bossip, the NWSL athlete joined Alex Cooper on her Call Her Daddy podcast to tell her side of the story and how rough it was growing up. The Olympic gold medalist’s interview debuted today, and it contains a lot of shocking and heartbreaking quotes. One that’s really spreading like wildfire is how she really views Dennis Rodman. “He’s a person. He’s not a dad. Maybe by blood, but nothing else,” the 22-year-old said to Cooper.

This is really the first time that Trinity has felt ready to really open up about what their relationship is actually like. It certainly makes sense, as it’s hard to really process all of those emotions, especially at such a young age. But she’s ready and not holding back. During her summarized retelling of life with her father, Trinity revealed that she was actually living out of a car for a while.

“We [mother Michelle Moyer and brother DJ] tried to live with him, but he’s having parties 24/7. He’s bringing random b****es in. My mom didn’t want — she was strong enough to deal with it because even to this day, I still believe that my dad hasn’t loved anyone after my mom.” Speaking of Moyer’s marriage with Dennis, it only lasted one year. They divorced in 2004 and they were rarely in contact with Dennis after everything officially went through in 2012.

Perhaps the saddest moment of the sit-down was when Trinity talked about the time when he showed up to a 2021 playoff game of hers. She claims he really only went for his love of the media and all of the attention. They did embrace, but Trinity felt lonely still in that moment. “I lost hope in ever getting him back, I answer the phone now for my conscience to be like, ‘He needed to hear my voice’ before anything happens. That’s why I answer the phone, not for me.” If you want to listen/watch the full interview, visit the Spotify link above.

Lil Woody Explains Why He Doesn’t Feel Completely Responsible For Young Thug’s Trial

Young Thug YSL affiliate Lil Woody is standing up for himself. Recently, him and DJ Vlad conducted an exclusive interview together in which they mainly focused on the trial and its aftermath. Some clips include him talking about the lies, the ex-parte meeting, as well as his reaction to Thugger’s plea deal. Speaking of that, he was very nervous for the rapper’s future and was eventually stunned with the final results. “I thanked God. I thanked God so much that day. S***, I’ve been at peace ever since… When I heard what the D.A. was offering, 45 years do 25, I was like, ‘Wow,’” he explained.

“And then the plea that he took, it had me sweating like, ‘What in the world type of plea was that?’ I didn’t wanna see nothing bad happened to him,” Woody added. This type of energy is what he’s been on even during the trial despite what outsiders would want you to believe. Throughout the YSL RICO trial, he was constantly judged and berated online for his behavior and antics. Because of this, many were viewing him as the star witness, which he feels is a complete inaccuracy.

Lil Woody Feels His Culpability Was Blown Out Of Proportion

In the interview clip above, Woody explains why he believes he’s not as culpable as he was made out to be. He says, “Think what y’all wanna think, feel what y’all want to feel. Y’all can sit here and say I’m the main reason for this trial.” Lil Woody continued, “But if you really watching the trial and paying attention, you’ll see I wasn’t… I know I wasn’t. Think about it, if I gave a statement 2015, if I’m the main witness why is an arrest in 2022 whenever it was? If I’m the star witness and this whole trial based off me and the statements, I allegedly gave was 2015.”

Vlad then rebutted by saying that he did actually speak, but Woody said that because they wound up being not true, they become alleged. “My whole thing is everybody feel played,” Woody added in his overall thoughts on the matter. Overall, this is an explanation of why he apologized the way he did back in October. If you remember, he said, “I took him through a process that I never should have took him through. Even though I know I’m not the cause of it, despite how anybody may feel, it’s wrong.”

50 Cent Claims That Drake Is “Loaded” With More Kendrick Lamar Diss Tracks

The battle between Drake and Kendrick Lamar has long been decided at this point. However, 50 Cent is claiming that he’s got some inside information that not many others have. The New York legend and TV star was Big Boy Radio‘s most recent guest, and his interview has been creating a lot of discourse online today. The G-Unit rapper and the panel got to business on his tense relationships with Jay-Z and Diddy. However, we now know that things have never been that deep between them (or so he says). The man loves to troll, so it’s a little hard to take what he says at face value. However, we are going to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Additionally, he was asked about J. Cole backing out of the beef between Drake and Lamar. That’s something he has come to accept; however, he still thinks the North Carolina MC should have stayed on the battlefield. That topic sparked some other angles of the beef, including a hilarious segment in which Fif read off Drake’s “opp list.” Music critic Anthony Fantano (theneedledrop), livestreamers, and podcasters are some that landed on it.

Fans Feel 50 Cent Is Hurting Drake Rather Than Helping Him

Things got a little more serious though during this portion of the chat, though. At one point, 50 called out Drake for his pre-action petitions against UMG for being hypocritical. “Everything he (Drake) says they (UMG) did for Kendrick, is something they did for him.” However, at one point, he seemed to sort of back The Boy in a way by saying he’s got ammunition locked and loaded for Lamar. That’s at least what some fans took from his comments.

“Drake was loaded & ready to go again. There’s no way you stop… and you’re losing. Nah, I gotta fix this,” he told Big Boy. 50 hasn’t helped drakes case once yet😂😂😂😂 he honestly making s*** worse,” one fan writes. “Out of all of them, he thought The Heart Part 6 was the best? He might have saved his career by not releasing them😭” another jokes. He may not have been hyping up him, but rather just letting people know that he was stashed up know the hits that Lamar was dishing out. Obviously, though, too much time has passed, and too many poor decisions have been made now to justify releasing anything else now.

Deb Antney Recalls $5 Million Offer To Leave Nicki Minaj Behind

It’s no secret that Nicki Minaj and her former manager Deb Antney have been through their fair share of ups and downs. Despite all of this, the two of them have always been inseparable. That doesn’t mean that nobody has ever tried to separate them, however, according to Antney. During a recent interview with Ray Daniels Presents, the longtime music executive revealed that there was a time she was offered big bucks to leave Nicki behind. Fortunately, she didn’t go for it, instead prioritizing her relationship with the rap diva.

“They offered me $5 million to get away from Nicki,” she began. “And I needed that $5 million. But you can’t pay me enough. You can’t do that to me. I ain’t never got to speak to her again in life, but that’s my child.” Antney continued, looking back on her spat with Nicki, which took place after she admitted she once tried to make peace between Nicki and Lil Kim. “It doesn’t matter,” she said. “She can talk about me, she can say whatever she wanna say, she can do whatever she wanna do. People were so shocked to see me; they didn’t want me on that tour with her.”

Antney also shared more details of their dynamic, explaining that while Nicki can “get away with murder” while talking to her, it’s never the other way around. “It’s things that I can’t do with her,” she admitted. “It’s like I can’t even say or knock her down the way I’d want to knock her down, or say what I want to say to her, because she’s so fragile to me.”

Obviously, Antney really values her relationship with Nicki, and it looks like the feeling is mutual. Shortly after their aforementioned spat, which got pretty ugly, the two of them reunited on Instagram Live. They looked to be in good spirits as if nothing had ever happened.

XXXTentacion’s Engineer Recalls Working On Some Of Late Artist’s Most Popular Songs

During a recent interview, Dutch-born engineer Koen Heldens recalled working alongside XXXTentacion on some of the late performer’s most popular songs. He detailed his recording process during a conversation with Studio Talks, as well as what he was able to learn. “When I heard ‘Jocelyn Flores’ for the first time, and it completely took me by surprise. I had this image of XXXTentacion as a face-tatted SoundCloud rapper, but the raw emotion in ‘Jocelyn Flores’ was completely different from what I expected. X also had another track for me to mix: ‘F**K Love’ featuring Trippie Redd. That’s how we started working together—almost by chance. X had a way of manifesting things quickly, and it felt like fate that I mixed ‘Jocelyn Flores’ on my birthday,” he began.

“In November 2017, we worked on A Ghetto Christmas Carol EP, which we completed in one weekend. I remember trying to clean up the 808s on the title track, but X and producer Ronny J insisted, ‘No, no, no, don’t clean it up! It’s supposed to feel like an electric guitar for white people but felt through the bass in the trunk.’ That experience taught me that sometimes being technically correct doesn’t serve the creative process—music is about emotion and feel,” Heldens continued.

He went on, remembering how XXX FaceTimed him right after recording “Sad!” According to him, the Florida-born artist had a feeling it would be a hit. “He sent me the track and said, ‘I need the mix back in an hour.’ Naturally, I thought, ‘An hour? That’s impossible.’”

Ultimately, however, Heldens was inspired. “I immediately felt compelled to push the snare way out front—making it loud and prominent,” he said. “There was no second verse, despite some discussions about adding one, but it didn’t need it since the song didn’t follow a typical structure.”

Denzel Washington Gets Candid About Wine Habit And “Shooting Dope”

It goes without saying that years of drug and alcohol use will surely catch up to anybody, and according to Denzel Washington, he’s no exception. Luckily, the award-winning actor and producer never let his vices get too out of hand and has made his health a top priority as he approaches 70. During a recent interview with Esquire Magazine, he opened up about the “damage” he’s done to his body in the past by getting hooked on wine and occasionally “shooting dope.”

“Things are opening up for me now — like being seventy. It’s real. And it’s OK. This is the last chapter — if I get another thirty, what do I want to do? My mother made it to ninety-seven. I’m doing the best I can,” he told the outlet. Washington went on to open up about how his wine habit began, and exactly when he realized it was becoming a problem.

Denzel Washington Recalls “Damage” He’s Done To His Body

“Wine is very tricky. It’s very slow. It ain’t like, boom, all of a sudden. I never got strung out on heroin. Never got strung out on coke. Never got strung out on hard drugs. I shot dope just like they shot dope, but I never got strung out,” he explained. “And I never got strung out on liquor. I had this ideal idea of wine tastings and all that — which is what it was at first. And that’s a very subtle thing. I mean, I drank the best.”

Ultimately, Washington started to think he might be addicted when he got his own wine cellar in his house. Despite this, he says he was never under the influence while working or preparing for a role. “I never drank while I was working or preparing. I would clean up, go back to work — I could do both. However many months of shooting, bang, it’s time to go. Then, boom. Three months of wine, then time to go back to work,” he shared.
