Travis Scott May Have Revealed “UTOPIA” Release Date With New Billboard

Travis Scott has been teasing fans to an absurd degree when it comes to UTOPIA. Overall, it has almost been five years since the release of Astroworld. Consequently, fans are feeling starved for new music. In many ways, this is reminiscent of how Kendrick Lamar took five years between Damn and Mr. Morale. Nevertheless, fans are still excited about this new project, and they are looking for all sorts of clues that could hint at when this album is going to be released.

So far, Travis Scott has provided plenty of context clues in the form of his “UTOPIA” briefcase. Typically, Mike Dean or other big-name artists can be seen with the briefcase. This is meant to be a hint of who is going to be featured on the project. Although, there is no guarantee these artists even make the final cut. Furthermore, UTOPIA was recently added to Travis Scott’s website, which has fans wondering about the next steps. Well, on Monday evening, billboards went up throughout Los Angeles. These billboards contain UTOPIA branding and they have some pretty glaring hints throughout.

Travis Scott Continues To Hint

In the tweet above, you can see that the billboard on the left showcases a clock with the hands pointing to 7:21. Moreover, there is another billboard with a lock combination that leads your eyes over to 07/21. When you do the deductions in your head here, you realize that July 21st jumps out at you. Upon doing some research, it is revealed that July 21st is on a Friday, which is when new music comes out. Consequently, fans are now convinced that UTOPIA is set to drop in 24 days from now.

However, it needs to be made clear that Travis Scott has yet to officially announce this release date. Instead, it is simply a theory based on the billboards. Although, given the timelines we have been made privy to over the past few weeks, perhaps this release date does make a lot of sense. Young Thug’s “BUSINESS IS BUSINESS,” Metro Boomin Version, Is Here

Young Thug and Metro Boomin are here to show us that business isn’t done, and there’s still more heat to come from the former’s latest album, executive produced by the latter. Moreover, the two just released BUSINESS IS BUSINESS (Metro’s Version) as a surprise drop, featuring some changes to the original. At first glance, the most notable ones are the additions of Juice WRLD and Nicki Minaj on the new track “Money.” Also, another big change is the added track “Sake Of My Kids,” which closes off this interpretation of the project. Finally, there’s the tracklist as a whole, which rearranges the order of its previously released material.

For example, now the gorgeous and heartfelt “Jonesboro” starts the album off. Metro Boomin even explained some of the logic behind these shifts on Twitter, stating that this is his original version of BUSINESS IS BUSINESS‘s sequencing. Still, it opens up a conversation around which order of the songs you prefer, as they both have their standout choices. “Uncle M” and “Want Me Dead” pair well as two of the more menacing cuts on the album. On the other hand, if you’re a Travis Scott fan, you might prefer his back-to-back-to-back features on “Wit Da Racks,” “Uncle M” (as a sample and added vocals), and “Abracadabra” on the original version.

During their performance, they played “Just Wanna Rock,” as well as a brand-new song that had never been heard before. Additionally, Uzi got into a huge argument with JT that had the entire internet talking. For the most part, people assumed it had to do with Ice Spice. However, that turned out to not be the case. Either way, it was a wild few hours for Uzi who was in all of the headlines.

However, this afternoon, they are making headlines for a completely different set of reasons. This is because their website updated to reflect that The Pink Tape is dropping this Friday. Overall, this came as a big shock to people. While June seemed like a likely time for the album to be released, no one actually thought that Uzi would make good on their promise. Well, they have and they even have the cover art to make it that much more real.

Additionally, Lil Uzi Vert teamed up with Gibson Hazard for a brand-new trailer for the album. As you can see above, this trailer is wild and has all sorts of amazing aesthetics and editing tricks. Lil Uzi Vert has been teasing fans with the release of The Pink Tape for a very long time. The last time they released a project was all the way back in 2020 with Eternal Atake. Although we have gotten some songs here and there, Uzi has largely remained dormant. However, that has certainly changed over the last few weeks. The artist has frequently taken to Instagran Live where they have showcased new snippets. Moreover, there have been plenty of hits as to when the album would be released and who would be on it.

Last night, we got another new teaser from Lil Uzi Vert as they performed at the BET Awards. Although their performance came with some controversy, there is no doubt that fans were excited about it. That said, it led to some questions, such as: when is this album going to drop? Well, today, we finally got our answer. If you were to go to liluziofficial.com, you would see that The Pink Tape is listed with a release date of June 30th, which just so happens to be this Friday. This album certainly fits the aesthetic that Uzi has been trying to go far. We get Uzi standing in the middle of what looks to be an apocalyptic scene. Overall, this is very unique cover art, and we’re sure fans are going to have a thing or two to say about it.

Travis Scott Updates Website With “UTOPIA” Logo

Travis Scott is easily one of the best artists in the world. Overall, he is someone that fans have wanted to hear from for a very long time. However, despite numerous teasers, he has yet to release UTOPIA. Fans are starting to get a little antsy, and understandably so. Thankfully, the recent teasers for the album indicate that it should be dropping very soon. After all, Mike Dean has made it crystal clear that he is finishing up the last touches for the album. This includes mixing and mastering, which Dean has always been phenomenal at.

Nevertheless, fans are hoping for a classic. That is exactly what Astroworld was, and consequently, fans have extremely high expectations. For now, however, it still remains to be seen whether or not he can actually live up to these expectations. After all, he has been giving his supporters about five years’ worth of build-up. That said, according to @kurrco on Twitter, there might be some light at the end of the tunnel.

In the tweet below, you can see that Travis Scott’s website now has the UTOPIA logo on the front page. Moreover, the website allows fans to either get text messages, Discord, or email updates on the album. Furthermore, in the website’s code, there is a line about pre-ordering the album. Needless to say, this project is very much on the horizon. While we still don’t have a release date or any other information to go off of, it is clear that something special is on the way.

Hopefully, Travis Scott will finally stop playing around and give us the release date we have all been waiting for. Coi Leray Gets Fans To “Get Loud” In New Music Video

Coi Leray’s sophomore album COI is finally here, and it’s got no shortage of energetic bangers and rap-dance crossovers. Moreover, the latest visual for one of those jams is here, bringing on soccer star Trinity Rodman for “Get Loud.” As far as the track itself, it borrows from a Jersey club-style rhythm mixed with anthemic horns and excited group vocals. Not only that, but the Boston native heats up the track with some boastful and emphatic verses that fit the melody and drum pattern quite well. Considering the wealth of music videos and singles we got as part of the album’s rollout, to see her continue to capitalize on this success is no surprise.

Furthermore, this is also far from the 26-year-old’s first crossover into the sports realm with her promotional material. For example, she worked with the WNBA for a campaign featuring her hit lead single, “Players,” further emphasizing female solidarity and teamwork. That certainly shows up in the “Get Loud” music video, where Rodman (USWNT forward) and others get invitations to a get-together via flyers. Coi Leray poses with a fancy car, of course, but also parties in the locker room as her peers dance to the track.

On that note of unity, the “Bops” hitmaker recently spoke about that when addressing Latto’s mention of her in her latest hit single. “It’s not a sensitive conversation,” Coi Leray told Ebro. “I feel like it wasn’t more about the body, it was more of mentioning my name. I’m about positivity. For real. And I wasn’t sure where it was coming from. And not only that, I feel like the problem with our community today is we be so quick to try to change things but we don’t do nothing to actually change anything.

“So if we’re going to say we’re going to stop talking about bodies, then don’t mention anything about my body,” she went on. “Just period. Don’t compare me to nothing, don’t think about nothing. We’re not smoking on anything, it’s disrespect. Boosie Badazz Has Triumphant “First Day Back” With New Album

To everyone’s surprise, Boosie Badazz is not only back after a brief stint in jail, but he’s also back to dropping music immediately. Moreover, he just released First Day Back, a ten-track album that, in some pockets, fits the vibe of someone who just got his freedom. Of course, it’s unclear how much of this album was recorded and mixed before his incarceration, but it’s still the same old Baton Rouge MC that you know. For example, his vocal performances here are as nasal and expressive as ever, shifting between passionate singing and aggressive verses. When he got out of jail, he already celebrated plenty on IG Live, and odds are he has a lot more to celebrate now.

“He’s baaaaack!” Boosie started off his first Instagram Live after release from jail, where he ended up after being arrested on federal gun charges. “I wan’ thank God. I got chairs on my knees, I been praying so much. My family, all the prayer warriors who came to San Diego to support me. Yeah, Boosie Boo. Yeah! BET, I need three tickets. Metro Boomin Trends On Twitter As Fans Praise His Output

Very few artists in hip-hop or music in general stay as busy as Metro Boomin. After the new Young Thug album Business Is Business dropped last night fans took to Twitter to pay tribute to Metro’s grind. He has a hand in most of the songs on Thugger’s new album and some fans just couldn’t believe the consistency and persistence of his musical output. Late last year he dropped his second solo album Heroes & Villains which was packed absolutely full of stars. Future, Travis Scott, Young Thug, 21 Savage, The Weeknd, A$AP Rocky, and many more are among the album’s features.

Metro Boomin has also had one of the only hit rap songs of the year so far. His track “Creepin” with The Weeknd and 21 Savage spent most of the year so far as a top 10 hit. He scored even more commercial success with his recent soundtrack to Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse. That album featured many similar collaborators as his first plus Lil Wayne, Lil Uzi Vert, Nas, 2 Chainz, and many more. The album debuted in the top 5 of the Billboard 200. That album sported some moderate hits of its own with tracks like “Annihilate” and “Calling.”

Metro Boomin’s Prolific Output

Fans aren’t just impressed by what Metro Boomin has already put out, but what he has coming next. He’s mentioned in multiple interviews that he has a collaborative album with Future coming soon. While he did walk back comments on it being “the ultimate album” fans are still excited. The record doesn’t have a release date at the moment but it could potentially arrive pretty soon.

On top of just his musical output, Metro also took his talents to the movies. He has a short but memorable cameo in Spiderman: Across The Spider-Verse. Young Thug’s New Album Contains Has Hostile Snitching Bars

Last night, Young Thug surprise-released his new album Business Is Business. Given his current legal situation, which has been unfolding in the public eye for over a year, he had a lot to address. For rap fans, one of the biggest curiosities was whether or not Thugger would directly mention Gunna, whose alleged snitching saw him released from prison earlier this year. Other rappers, most recently Lil Durk and Lil Baby, have used their music to take shots at Gunna. Turns out Young Thug does address snitches on the record’s 13th track “Jonesboro.” Even then, it’s unclear whether the lyrics are specifically about Gunna.

Young Thug on the track makes his thoughts on snitches pretty clear. “N*ggas told and he was my homie, I can’t miss him, Ain’t nobody feel him,” the lyrics read. For many fans, this was as scorching an indictment of Gunna’s actions as Young Thug could possibly make. But the more fans dug into things the less clear the intention of the lyrics became. Many online are claiming that the track was written and recorded before Young Thug was ever even locked up. If that’s the case it’s unclear who the lyrics are about but they couldn’t be Gunna. Still, including the song and lyrics on the album could still have been some kind of veiled statement in itself.

Young Thug’s new album is a major event in hip-hop. Not just because of the major storylines it arrives in the midst of, but also the talent involved in it. Superstars like Drake, Travis Scott, 21 Savage, Future, and Lil Uzi Vert all make appearances in the tracklist. The album also features nearly wall-to-wall production from Metro Boomin’ who’s had a busy 2023 of his own.

Business Is Business is Young Thug’s first new album since 2021’s Punk.
