DJ Khaled Announces New Album And Lead Single Coming Soon

Whenever DJ Khaled releases new music it’s always a star-studded event. Last year he dropped his album GOD DID which featured Drake, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Eminem and many many more superstars. Now, he’s officially confirmed a follow-up project in a new tweet. “TIL NEXT TIME My 14TH STUDIO ALBUM coming soon!” his tweet begins. While he doesn’t confirm a release date for the project fans can seemingly expect it to arrive at some point this year. Alongside the announcement of the new album he also confirmed it’s lead single and fans know exactly when they’ll be able to hear that.

He concluded the tweet with a message about when he will one day retire from music, which isn’t happening now. “And the day I decide to walk away from the game you’re gonna know that very moment that you were witnessing the greatest to ever do it. So no this ain’t goodbye…it’s TIL NEXT TIME. Next chapter. Next blessing. Next level. Onward. This is my biggest album. I feel it. The recording process has been UNBELIEVABLE and I cant wait to share it with the world . And remember… I’ll always be here if you need me… I’m only a phone call away TIL NEXT TIME .”

The tweet comes with the promise that TIL NEXT TIME will be Khaled’s biggest album yet. That had fans speculating right away about who could appear on the project. The tweet also comes paired with an entire four-minute trailer for the album featuring Khaled doing some of his favorite things.

Kid Cudi “Insano” Rumored Release Date Revealed

Kid Cudi is an artist who is incredibly influential in the hip-hop world. Overall, he is one of the reasons why Kanye West pivoted to the sound he was going for on 808s & Heartbreaks. Moreover, Cudi has influenced the likes of Travis Scott. Scott has done a lot with the Cudi blueprint, and these two still have a lot of respect for one another. In fact, there have been talks of a Cudi x Scott album, however, there is no release date. Instead, Cudi believes it is still a possibility, especially given the recent Utopia collab “LOOOVE.”

Now, however, Kid Cudi is focused on his latest endeavor, an album called INSANO. This project has been teased for quite some time, and fans are anticipating a great project. There have been a ton of rumored features here. Names like Travis Scott, Young Thug, and even Lil Yachty have been thrown around. Needless to say, there are plenty of reasons to be excited right now. As for the release date, September has been thrown around. Last night, however, numerous publications and blogs gave us an exact date.

Joell Ortiz Announces Release Date For New Album “Signature”

Moreover, the lyrical master recently announced that his new project Signature will be releasing this Friday, August 11. Of course, given previous singles like “Holy Ghost” with CyHi, “Doors Up,” and “OG,” this should come as little surprise to die-hard fans or casuals alike. What’s more is that this upcoming LP is a full-on collaboration, with the Brooklyn MC enlisting a sole producer behind the boards. L’Orange has lent his adept and vintage sound to each single so far, and will likely give us much more sonic bliss to delve into.

Furthermore, fans expect to be once again blown away by the 43-year-old’s entrancing flows and authoritative demeanor. His sound is one plucked straight out of the hardcore East Coast brand of potent bars and grippingly grimy narratives. Given all that Joell Ortiz has been through and learned throughout his life, his perspective is always a vivid and self-aware one. For example, many of his songs reflect on his unwavering hunger as a rapper and his developing age and outlook.

Doja Cat has had a rocky few months online due to near-constant feuds with her fans. Just last month, she loudly denounced those calling themselves “Kittenz,” and reportedly began blocking those contacting her about their alleged abusive experiences with her new boyfriend, J. Cyrus. Even with all the drama, Doja still decided to share her “Paint The Town Red” single this past New Music Friday (August 4), which was surprisingly enough to land her back in the good graces of many.

The catchy song arrived alongside a devilish visual, which seemingly pokes fun at those who have been long suggesting that the “Say So” singer sold her soul in exchange for more fame. It’s often hard to tell exactly how serious Doja is being, but on Monday (August 7), we received what seems to be some trustworthy news on her upcoming album. “I was going to try to do something where the album was rap hooks with rap verses,” she explained, as per @BuzzingPop on Twitter.

We have yet to receive an official release date from the genre-bending creative, and though she previously announced the title as Hellmouth, it seems she’s since changed her mind and will be reintroducing her work under a new name in the near future.

This new DC4 update from Doja Cat sounds uncharacteristically serious, but where the Californian is still letting her silly side shine through is with her latest “thirst trap.” Her concerning new photo caught the attention of Tyrese, along with thousands of others, who have since left comments sharing their worry under Doja’s less-than-flattering post. Lil Durk Drops Deluxe Update For “Almost Healed”

Lil Durk has some big news for his fans. With the recent success of the hit song “All My Life” reaching #2 on the Billboard Hot 100, and receiving platinum certification, Durk decided to drop a bombshell. In Jake Paul’s win over Nate Diaz on August 6, Durk walked out with the Ohioan before the hyped-up match. While it was a cool moment for the two of them, it was hard to ignore what the Chicago-born rapper was wearing. The cover art came to life with him wearing the wrappings on his face saying “Almost Healed.”

Furthermore, with all the spotlight on him, Durk capitalized on the opportunity to let his supporters know that more music is on the way. On Durk’s shirt, it says, “Almost Healed Deluxe August.” Obviously, it is expected that the release will happen sometime this month and we will have to wait and see if these new bonus tracks give us any update on Durk and his mental health.

The famous YouTuber and boxer, Jake Paul squared off with long-time boxer Nate Diaz. With two stars in their own right duking it out on one of the biggest stages in sports, it was must-see TV. Moreover, the excitement had been building up since the fight was brought to the public’s attention in April. Additionally, the walkup for Paul was one to remember, with Lil Durk joining him. The song of choice was a no-brainer, since “All My Life” has proven to be a hit for its message of perseverance through the toughest battles.

Secondly, with a passionate J.Cole feature, it adds so much to the song lyrically and emotionally. It truly was the perfect song that led to Jake Paul taking down Diaz. Tyla Yaweh Unleashes New Album, “Heart Full Of Rage 2”

Tyla Yaweh has a lot of musical talents and styles, and there’s no better indicator of that than his new album, Heart Full of Rage 2. Moreover, the 16-track project boasts forays into indie rock, rage music, drum and bass, alternative, trap, and more, making it quite a dynamic listen from front to back. Of course, each listener will have their own specific niche of the rapper and singer’s styles that they latch onto. However, the album experience is actually a fun ride to go on regardless of whether you just like one or a couple of his sounds. It’s varied enough to keep your attention and throw you some left hooks, whereas there are some similar tracks next to each other that serve to compliment that phase of the project.

Furthermore, the Orlando MC and vocalist shows off a lot of catchy lyricism and melodic writing here. For example, there’s the unsurprisingly bright and breezy “SUMMER VIBES,” which benchmarks a more rock-oriented section of the tracklist. Others, like “City Of Dreams” with Chris Brown, take a more R&B-influenced and melody-heavy approach to the trap sound, and there’s a lot of chemistry on that song in particular. Tyla Yaweh also tapped Ty Dolla $ign, DeJ Loaf, Toosii, and Yung Bleu for charismatic and fitting features on their respective cuts.

Baby Keem Teases New Album During Osheaga Set

Fans have been eagerly awaiting new music from Baby Keem ever since he dropped “The Hillbillies” with Kendrick Lamar earlier this year. The song peaked at #93 on the Billboard Hot 100 and sparked a viral hunt for the Dublin Airport worker who appeared in the video. It was Keem’s first chart success since 2021’s “Family Ties”, also with Kendrick Lamar, which went three times platinum and peaked at #18.

Furthermore, fans have long awaited a follow-up to Keem’s debut studio album, The Melodic Blue. Released in September 2021, the album is certified platinum and peaked at #5 on the Billboard Album 200. It included two features from Lamar, as well as tracks with Don Toliver and Travis Scott. Well, it’s good news for Keem’s fans as there is reportedly a new album on the way.

The surprise announcement came during Keem’s performance at the Osheaga Festival in Quebec. At the end of his set, Keem simply said “New album coming soon motherfuckers.” No other details are available at this time but it’s safe to say that fans are hyped about the reveal. “We’re so back,” one fan commented on Twitter. The Osheaga Festival continues throughout the weekend. The final day of the festival, August 6, is set to be headlined by the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Kim Petras, and Central Cee.

However, it’s not the only headline that Keem has been scoring recently. On the recently released album from JPEGMafia and Danny Brown, Scaring the Hoes: DLC Pack, JPEGMafia took a shot at Keem. “Bitch, I ain’t Baby Keem, my cousin ain’t gave me shit,” JPEGMafia said on the track “NO! (x32)”. The line is a reference to the fact that Kendrick Lamar is not only Keem’s regular collaborator but also his cousin. However, despite the claims of music industry nepotism, Keem has been able to forge his own career outside of Kendrick. Producer Claims Kanye West Is Working On A New Album

During a recent AMA on Reddit, producer Orlando “Fya Man” Wilder discussed Kanye West. He previously worked alongside Ye on his 2021 album Donda, writing and producing various tracks. According to Fya Man, Kanye now has some new music on the way. He shared his thoughts on the upcoming tracks, calling them “Old Ye but new with the times.” He even claims that Kanye worked on the new record at his birthday party a couple of months ago.

Ye’s birthday bash in June made headlines for the nude models who were used to display sushi. According to Fya Man, it was a blast. “Music was worked on heavily, and the party was amazing,” the Chicago producer described. He also says that he’s been working with Kanye again lately. Fya Man claims that Ye doesn’t plan bringing back material from Donda 2, which remains unfinished, in the near future.

Recently, however, the Chicago-born artist had his Twitter account reinstated. He made his return with a gold check, indicative of a business account. He later wiped his entire account clean, prompting fans to speculate. Some think that the clearing could have been part of some kind of deal with Twitter in order for them to let him have his account back, while others suspect he may be gearing up for a new project. Ye had been booted from the platform last year for Tweeting antisemitic imagery.

As of late, Ye’s recently appeared as a producer on Travis Scott’s new album UTOPIA, which fans anticipated for some time. He was also just spotted with his “wife” Bianca Censori in Italy. According to reports, the artist scouted a fabric store in Prato, seemingly focused on his fashion ventures. It was also recently revealed that Ye’s 2024 presidential campaign had received zero donations as of mid-July. Further, the FBI might be digging into the campaign due to some alleged illegal activity.

Hit-Boy Says Benny The Butcher’s New Album Has Been Delayed

Rap fans are no stranger to projects being delayed past their initial release dates. Just this week Trippie Redd became the latest artist to push a new project back. His A Love Letter To You 5 mixtape was slated to release today but was pushed back a week at the last minute. Now, prolific Griselda rapper Benny The Butcher could be the next big name to push his album release back. Producer Hit-Boy who is working on the project shared the news on the Elliott Wilson Experience earlier this week. “It was supposed to come in August but I think it’s getting pushed back,” Hit-Boy explains. He also estimates that around 9 of the songs on the project were produced by him.

Benny The Butcher originally announced his new album Everybody Can’t Go back in April. He confirmed that the project was slated to come in August, though updates have been pretty sparse since then. He’s contributed to a pair of other new singles in the meantime though. Benny joined Curren$y and Harry Fraud on the track “Stingray” which landed on their collaborative album Vices earlier this year. His fellow Griselda member Conway The Machine also dropped a project earlier this year encapsulating his entire Drumwork label. Benny teamed up with Conway and 38 Spesh on the track “LALO.”

One of the updates Benny shared on the album mentioned an artist who might appear on it. In an Instagram live stream, he previewed some new music and teased about a potential Lil Wayne collab appearing on the album. Benny The Butcher has come close to securing some major collaborations in the past only for things to fall apart. Back in June he shared a story in an interview about a potential collab with Jay-Z. Jay reached out to him about collaborating and the pair were even in the same city but it never actually happened.

Chief Keef’s New Album “Almighty So 2” Delayed Again To October

Chief Keef’s Almighty So 2 has been in the works for years at this point, and it seems continuously unlucky at every turn. Moreover, as per the release page on Apple Music, Sosa’s new project was once again delayed, this time to October 13 of this year. While this makes for a fitting Halloween-season Friday the 13th drop, it surely disappointed many fans who wanted the project to arrive as soon as possible. For those unaware, this is a sequel to the Chicago legend’s 2013 mixtape, which remains a fan-favorite among his die-hard group of followers. In addition, we have no details as to why these delays happened, leading many to speculate on sample clearance issues, final mixes, or other possible factors.

In fact, rumors indicate that Chief Keef finished this project back in 2018, and that it’s been in limbo ever since. At first, the Glo Gang leader and his team announced a December 16 release date… last year. Then, it was delayed to January 20, then April 14, and now we have this latest release update. While the 27-year-old dropped a few projects and singles in the meantime, Almighty So 2 is becoming mythical at this point.

Still, Chief Keef seems as intent as ever to drop it and hype up its eventual release to his adoring fans. For example, he recently took to social media to show off his new Lamborghini, and the flex didn’t come without a vague but promising update on his next project. “Almighty So 2 OTW!!! We celebrating,” he wrote as the post’s caption, which was almost two months ago. This led many to believe that it would release promptly, but clearly something happened along the way that once again changed plans.

Even though it hasn’t been an absolute drought from the drill pioneer, it’s understandable that this release would get this much anticipation behind it. There’s nothing like a sequel to a cult classic, especially one with such a mysterious, long, and teased release history. All we can hope for is that the stars align perfectly for that Friday the 13th release date, since that just sounds too perfect to be true.
