Barbz rejoice, the remix Nicki Minaj has been teasing for weeks was finally announced. Earlier this month, she first floated the idea that she and Sexyy Red may be teaming up for a remix of her hit “FTCU.” They interacted on social media repeatedly in the weeks since and each time it had fans begging for more news on the upcoming track. Now fans got a surprise last-minute announcement not only revealing the track would drop tonight, but it features more contributions than originally expected.

Nicki just announced the “SLEEZE Mix” of “FTCU” which features a trio of artists with a variety of different styles. As previously announced, Sexyy Red will make an appearance on the track likely delivering her usual mix of hard-hitting and raunchy bars. Additionally, Travis Scott and Chris Brown will also appear on the track. While Minaj and Brown have collaborated numerous times before, she and Travis Scott have never formally crossed paths on a song. Nicki Minaj is about to take off on the international leg of her Pink Friday 2 tour. She recently got some good news from a judges ruling. The ruling allowed her husband to travel with her for the next section of the tour. She needed the approval for his international travel due to his previous legal troubles. The couple celebrated the good news by sharing a family photo dump to Instagram with some shots of them alongside their son Papa Bear. Nicki is playing a trio of shows in Canada this month before heading to Europe in May.

The launch is expected to notably boost the city’s economy by introducing new job opportunities and culture to the region. A press conference for the unveiling is scheduled to happen later today at 4 p.m. local time.

Kid Cudi is on one hell of a hot streak. In addition to joining the Coachella week two lineup, he just announced his engagement to menswear designer Lola Abecassis Sartore. The couple attended the Paramount+ premiere party for Knuckles together; Cudi later shared photos from the event on Instagram with a heartfelt caption. It was a splashy reveal, but it left fans wondering just how long the two had been dating before Cudi let the cat out of the bag.

However, the answer remains unclear as they kept their relationship under wraps so well. The relationship is likely fairly recent, as Cudi told Esquire in 2022 he was looking for someone special. “I want a girlfriend,” he said at the time. “I need to be with somebody. Most people would think I enjoy being single, because I’m single a lot. But I’m a relationship man… My goal is to find someone. Soon, hopefully. And get married and have more kids.”

It certainly appears he’s one step closer to that goal. Raye, Janelle Monáe, The National, And More Will Headline Montreux Jazz Festival For 2024

Switzerland’s annual Montreux Jazz Festival unveiled the lineup for 2024, with Raye, Janelle Monáe, The National, Jessie Ware, and Jon Batiste among those headlining the festival.

Other key acts on the lineup include Tyla, PJ Harvey, Kraftwerk, Trombone Shorty, James Arthur, Lenny Kravitz, D4vd, Laufey, André 3000, and more. Given that the event will run from July 5 through July 20, there is sure to be a lot of performances throughout the two weeks from the stacked lineup.

Those who are subscribed to Montreux Jazz Festival’s insider program will be able to purchase tickets today, as part of an Early Bird pre-sale. Tomorrow, April 19, passes for the festival will open to the general public at 6 a.m. ET, according to NME.

“Steeped in musical history, this intimate setting has also proved the ideal stage for established artists to present special, unique projects,” the festival’s description reads, pointing out that the lineup intends to blur “the lines between jazz, afrobeats, pop, and rap” — providing something for every type of listener.

“The lake and the mountains will be the natural backdrop to this breathtaking stage,” Montreux added about the main stage. “Like all stages of the Festival, sound will be provided by Meyer Sound, a historic partner that has helped make Montreux a benchmark in this regard.”

Kodak Black’s Legal Troubles Got Simpler After A Count From His Recent Arrest Was ‘Completely Dismissed’

Last December, Kodak Black was arrested in South Florida. At the time, The Associated Press reported that the Florida-born rapper was facing charges of cocaine possession and jailed in Broward County. The substance was later identified by a lab test as oxycodone rather than cocaine. In late February, Kodak Black was freed “after a federal judge sentenced him to time served for a probation violation,” according to The Associated Press. Prior to his release, as reported by the Sun Sentinel, Broward County Circuit Judge Barbara Duffy had dismissed Kodak’s oxycodone charge because prosecutors’ arguments “do not refute or negate” that Kodak had an oxycodone prescription.

On Wednesday, April 17, Kodak Black’s attorney, Bradford Cohen, posted on Instagram that Kodak has had another count dismissed.

“Count 2 is now dismissed of Kodak’s ‘possession of cocaine’ that wasn’t cocaine case that should have never been filed or brought by the Broward State Atty Office,” Cohen captioned his post, which shows the documentation of “Order Granting Defendant’s Motion To Dismiss Count II.” “We showed them his script prior to filing, and they decided to file anyway… even knowing the officer was wrong about the substance and his story changing and making no sense. That case is now completely dismissed.”

NBA YoungBoy’s Bad Doctor Impression Allegedly Got Him Caught In Prescription Fraud Scheme

Earlier this week, NBA YoungBoy was arrested at his Utah home on multiple charges. Initially, it was reported that he was booked for “patterns of unlawful activity, procuring or attempting to procure drugs, identity fraud, forgery, possession of controlled substances, and possession of a dangerous weapon.” Today, new details of the case were made public, revealing that it’s far more complex than expected.

YB was hit with a total of 63 charges. Most of them are related to an alleged prescription drug fraud scheme. He’s looking at 20 counts of identity fraud, 20 counts of obtaining a prescription under false pretenses, 20 counts of forgery, and more. Allegedly, he and his crew would call in prescriptions using real doctors’ names, which is ultimately what got them caught. A probable cause affidavit from Cache County details how a caller claiming to be “Gwendolyn Cox” tipped off police.

NBA YoungBoy Hit With 63 Charges

“‘Gwendolyn’ sounded as though she was a much younger male from the Southern states. Gwendolyn made a statement ‘well I axed her to and she said that she’ll have you call me.’ This statement was a response to a request that was made to have ‘Gwendolyn’ contact Dispatch and have them transfer her call back through. … (I have) lived in the Southern United States, the terminology in replacing the word ‘ask’ with ‘axe’ or other variations, is consistent with a Southern dialect in states such as Texas, Louisiana, Georgia and other southern states,” the affidavit reads.

One pharmacist targeted in the scheme, Erik Stewart, says something just didn’t seem right when he received a call from a number that didn’t match the registered doctor’s office. “Usually, you don’t get a doctor calling in a cough syrup themselves. Since then, Milo Yiannopoulos has put out a statement about the incident, in which he makes it clear that Censori was allegedly assaulted in a sexual manner.

“A stranger grabbed Bianca’ is grossly inadequate as a description of what happened. Bianca was physically assaulted,” Milo wrote. “The assailant didn’t merely collide into her. He put his hands under her dress, directly on her body, he grabbed her waist, he spun her around, and then he blew her kisses. She was battered and sexually assaulted.”

Last week, he was arrested at a NYC hotel after the staff found a loaded gun in his hotel room. He was hit with two charges for illegal possession of the weapon and released on bail earlier this week. As he exited the courtroom a member of his entourage got in a physical altercation with a photographer trying to get a pic of the rapper. With everything going on in his life Polo has apparently fallen into some bad habits. He made a tweet that left fans concerned for his well-being and added some context to his current state of mind. Kodak Black’s Cocaine Possession Case Gets Thrown Out

Late last year, Kodak Black was arrested after police officers found him illegally parked in his Bentley in Plantation, FL. At the time, officers claimed that they spotted the rapper attempting to conceal a white substance. They later alleged that the substance tested positive for cocaine. His defense maintained from the beginning that the substance wasn’t cocaine, but instead Oxycodone, which he has a prescription for.

This was eventually proven to be true, and the cocaine charge was dropped, though he was still on the hook for tampering with physical evidence. According to his lawyer Bradford Cohen, however, the entire case has now been dismissed. Cohen took to Instagram yesterday to share the news, throwing a bit of shade authorities’ way in the process. According to him, Kodak’s Oxycodone prescription was shown to officials before the cocaine possession case was even filed, but they still went through with it.

GloRilla’s recent arrest for driving under the influence might have some fans worried about her future on “Wanna Be” collaborator Megan Thee Stallion’s upcoming tour, but there is one person who seemed delighted by the news. Kay’La Lillard, NBA star Damian Lillard’s ex-wife, joked about the arrest on Instagram, posting a report from The Shade Room into her Instagram Story, and including the caption “Free GloLillard.” She also threw in the hashtag, “#sisterwife.”

Her jokes stem from the recent NBA All-Star Game this past February, where Glo got a few photos with Dame. She later posted them on her Twitter page (I am never going to call it “X,” not sorry), taking the opportunity to shoot her own shot. ““Who n**** dis is?” she wrote. “Cause I want him #GetEmGlo.” In a later tweet, she trolled, ““Whoever she is can’t whoop me so I really dgaf.” While Dame and Kay’La filed for divorce in October 2023, just after Dame was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks, it seems she didn’t appreciate Glo’s comments — or like most people, just found them hilarious.
