Kendrick Lamar Domestic Violence Allegations Resurface Thanks To Mysterious “okliar” Website

Kendrick Lamar and Drake have been in a pretty heated feud as of late. Although some have Kendrick winning right now, there is no doubt that fans want him to answer for some things. Overall, the biggest allegation against him is that he has been physical with his fiance, Whitney Alford. In fact, Drake alleged that the two are no longer together and that Lamar’s violence is the reason why. Furthermore, fans have dug up the allegation from 2014 that Kendrick allegedly beat a woman at the Hardrock Casino.

Shortly after that alleged incident in 2014, Lamar was on The Breakfast Club where he denied any wrongdoing. However, it appears as though a YouTube video has surfaced in which a young woman describes being called to the scene to take care of the alleged victim. The video is “unlisted” but can be accessed through a new website called okliar.com which is meant to be a parody of oklama. Throughout the video, the woman alleges that Kendrick was the perpetrator and that his team helped him to cover it all up.

On Friday, Drake kicked off what would become a historic night with the release of his Kendrick Lamar diss track, “Family Matters.” On it, he accuses the rapper of domestic violence, claims that one of his fiancée’s kids might actually be Dave Free’s, and more. Within the hour, Kendrick fired back with “Meet The Grahams,” leaving hip-hop fans everywhere in shambles.

DJ Akademiks was on stream when the chaos unfolded, capturing the collective shock live with his viewers. According to him, however, this wasn’t a coincidence. DJ Akademiks Rushed Home To React On Stream

According to Ak, he asked Drake to give him a heads-up before dropping anything to ensure that he’d be able to react to it live. At that point, Drizzy told him, “You have 30 minutes, get on stream.” He was out at the time and immediately told his crew they needed to rush home. “I said ‘Beeline for the door, get the driver outside. We’re going back to Jersey. We might have to run tolls, we might have to drive the wrong way.’” He went on, revealing that he managed to make it home with ten minutes to spare.

While DJ Akademiks got a warning that Drake would be dropping, he emphasized that he didn’t actually get to hear the song before the world did. 50 Cent Sued His Ex Daphne Joy For Defamation After She Accused Him Of Abuse And Rape

50 Cent didn’t appreciate being accused of rape and abuse by his ex Daphne Joy Narvaez, filing suit against her for defamation. The former couple shares a son, Sire, and in court documents 50 filed on Monday according to TMZ, he believes Narvaez made the accusations in order to prevent him from getting sole custody.

50 is notoriously litigious and petty, so it should come as no surprise that he is suing his ex, but according to the filings, he gave her “ample time” to retract her statements. They read, “Despite being given ample opportunity to retract a false and malicious retaliatory accusation, Ms. Narvaez has shamefully chosen to interfere with her 11-year-old son’s relationship with his loving father by falsely calling him a ‘rapist’.”

Naturally, he couldn’t resist getting a shot in at his beleaguered peer Diddy, jabbing, “The motivation behind this appears to be Ms. Narvaez’s unfortunate entanglement and misguided loyalty to Mr. Combs, who we believe to be underwriting this attack and whom Mr. Jackson has been warning Ms. Narvaez and others about for many years.”

50 had been in the midst of a weeks-long mocking of his business rival when Narvaez was mentioned in Lil Rod’s ongoing lawsuit against Diddy. Rod’s suit claimed that Daphne was on retainer with the embattled producer, prompting 50 to call her a “sex worker” in trolling social posts — which he has since deleted.

She responded with a laundry list of accusations, writing, “Let’s put the real focus on your true evil actions of raping me and physically abusing me,” and alleging that he never even sees Sire, despite her living a mile away. “You are no longer my oppressor and my God will handle you from this point on,” she wrote. “You have permanently damaged the last hope I had for you as a father to preserve our family with these last and final false claims made against me. You have broken our hearts for the last and final time.

DJ Akademiks Unveils Who The Real Boogeyman Is In The Drake & Kendrick Lamar Beef

DJ Akademiks has been all over the Drake and Kendrick Lamar beef. Of course, Akademiks has inside sources over at OVO. Drake himself has fed Ak information for years, and that has been especially true during this beef. On Friday night, Ak was given a warning that Drizzy would be dropping “Family Matters.” However, Ak’s stream quickly turned into a bit of a funeral as Drake was hit with an epic response from Kendrick, “Meet The Grahams.” Once “Not Like Us” was released, Ak had no choice but to keep streaming almost indefinitely.

Last night, Akademiks was on stream where he continued to dissect the beef. It was here that he revealed that Drake was supposedly going to drop another song. Moreover, he claimed that something was going to drop yesterday, however, the shooting at Drake’s home put a stop to it. Eventually, during his stream, he found out that Future was going to be coming through with a new album. This subsequently led to Akademiks delivering a hot take that is certainly interesting.

DJ Akademiks Gives His Take

Essentially, Ak says that the real boogeyman is not K-Dot and it is not Drake either. Instead, the man no one wants smoke with is Future. It is definitely an interesting observation and one that has to be taken seriously. Even Drake has refused to truly diss Future throughout all of this. Instead, he just wants to be friends again. It just goes to show just how respected the man is. Truly the winner of this entire battle.

Let us know what you think of this take from DJ Akademiks, in the comments section down below. Do you believe that Future is truly the boogeyman in all of this? How do you think it would go down if he ended up getting into a lyrical battle with someone? Sukihana Taunts JT With More “Cocaine” Allegations After Unleashing Diss Track

Sukihana and JT have been wrapped up in a heated online feud as of late, and unfortunately, it looks like things could just be getting started. It all began when Suki took to Twitter/X following the release of JT’s single, “Okay,” accusing the City Girl of using cocaine. This jab appeared to come out of nowhere, as just days before, she had shut down rumors that JT dissed her on the single.

The situation quickly escalated from there, as JT fired back with full force. She accused Suki of coming to her birthday party uninvited, claimed that she was only shading her online for clout, and more. “I was finna roast tf out of floptavia aka Ms. Shi**y girl during her coke rant but I’m gone take it to the booth and show you I can really rap,” the Baddies star responded. “Bum a** long tittie bed bug looking winchhhhhhhhhhhh.”

JT has yet to respond, but when she does, it’s safe to say it won’t be pretty. Nonetheless, Sukihana continues to add fuel to the fire, recently shading JT in yet another Tweet. “B*tch stop doing coke,” she wrote simply earlier today. She also added a link to a Telegram contact called “Trap Depot,” telling her, “Here’s a plug.”

Raveena Flourishes Through All Weather In Her Dreamy ‘Pluto’ Video

Pop-soul singer Raveena returns with a dreamy video for her latest throwback single, “Pluto.” In the video, Raveena rides butterflies, through both sunny and stormy skies. The now-30-year-old singer’s love of nature is present throughout, and even when the video gets a little dark, the new song remains upbeat and perky, guided by Raveena’s gentle vocals and hinted throughout with some late-90s funk-pop, right down the turntablism hidden in the beat.

“Pluto” is the singer’s first new single in two years. When we last heard from her in February 2022, she’d just released her second studio, Asha’s Awakening, a high-concept album infused with spirituality taken from Raveena’s Indian heritage. Now, she’s an independent artist — as befits her free spirit — and used her time away from the spotlight to get back to her musical influences, like the dreamy pop-soul of acts like Corinne Bailey Rae.

“This record is so inner child for me,” she explains of “Pluto.” “It’s a song about loss, but woven into the most joyful soundbed. When making it, I was remembering the feeling of having my little walkman and listening to the most euphoric pop songs, dancing around the yard or looking out the window on a long drive at ten years old. I want to bring back the sweetness that feels like it’s suspended in that time of the early 2000s and 90s.”

Now that she’s partnered with Empire, she’s got full creative control of her music and its release schedule, so don’t be surprised to see an album announcement sometime soon.

Questlove Laments That ‘Hip-Hop Is Truly Dead’ In The Wake Of The Drake And Kendrick Lamar Beef

questlove

Unlike much of the online hip-hop community, Questlove was less than impressed with the rap beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar. Over the weekend, the two rappers exchanged a slew of acidic diss tracks — “6:16 In LA,” “Family Matters,” “Meet The Grahams,” “Not Like Us,” and “The Heart Part 6” — that did little to promote either rapper as the vanguard of a generation in favor of simply airing out each other’s dirty laundry.

Questlove, a 30-plus-year veteran of the rap business, who heard “Rapper’s Delight” on the radio and has written at least two books about the history of hip-hop as pop culture, deplored the contest on his Instagram, where he wrote, “Nobody won the war.”

This wasn’t about skill. This was a wrestling match level mudslinging and takedown by any means necessary — women & children (& actual facts) be damned. Same audience wanting blood will soon put up ‘rip’ posts like they weren’t part of the problem. Hip Hop truly is dead.

As one of hip-hop’s foremost historians, Quest’s opinion holds a lot of weight. He also sees and remembers more than most. His ominous pronouncement isn’t just doomsaying, it’s a remembrance; interviews with prominent hip-hop journalists from the ’90s expressing regret over the coverage of the interpersonal feud between Tupac and The Notorious B.I.G. aren’t hard to find.

And no, it doesn’t seem like either Drake or Kendrick would do some dummy sh*t and escalate the conflict to violence, but that doesn’t mean those around them won’t — or even unrelated superfans taking their jabs to heart. If nothing else, the pair never seemed to consider the effects of the battle on those they care about. Kendrick directly addressed Drake’s mother and son on “Meet The Grahams,” while Drake insinuated Kendrick’s manager was schtupping his fiancée on “Family Matters.”

Those are things you can’t take back and, honestly, probably would warrant violence in a face-to-face confrontation — I’ve seen folks punched in the face at rap battles for less (maybe they should take up Shawn Michaels on his WWE invitation and put on a shoot match for the ages). The battle wasn’t exactly “good for hip-hop” in the way many — who really just wanted to see a couple of really good rappers RAP — might see it. There were always plenty of raps, but many underground stars just looking to climb their way into public notice had rollouts ruined, opportunities overlooked, and releases swept to the side in the rush to hear these two guys air their personal grievances. Quest’s pronouncement that “hip-hop is truly dead” might be dramatic, but the spirit of friendly competition seems to have gotten lost in the modern climate of ad hominem and frankly outrageous accusations.

Are Future & Gunna Beefing?

future and gunna

Five months in, 2024 appears very much to be hip-hop’s year of discontent. The malice is almost palpable in exchanges between Megan Thee Stallion and Nicki Minaj, and was downright inescapable in the all-out war between Drake and Kendrick Lamar.

Now, it appears even more rappers are fixing to enter the non-stop battle royale. Fans are convinced that Atlanta trap rap stalwarts Future and Gunna are about to go head-to-head after the former appeared to announce the imminent release of a new mixtape on the same day as the latter is preparing to release his new album, One Of Wun.

So, do Future and Gunna really have beef?

Well, if nothing else, they’ve got some competitive fire. Future didn’t just warn fans on Twitter (which I’m never calling “X”) of the return of “mixtape Pluto” (a nickname stemming from his early career) on May 10, but also jibed, “F*ck yo album Sh*t ain’t slappin like my MIXTAPE.” Given the two rappers’ shared history and release date, fans quickly put two and two together, deducing that he must mean his “Pushin P” collaborator Gunna.

Gunna himself also seemingly came to a similar conclusion, as his next two tweets were more pugnacious than usual. “Turn this sh*t bac up Notch……!” he wrote. “F*c What These boys talkin bout.” The two rappers might not be engaged in open hostilities (yet), but it seems pretty clear that they view their shared release date as a point of contention.

Kid Cudi Clarifies Whether He Meant To Diss Drake With Songwriting Comments

Kid Cudi says he wasn’t trying to diss Drake by discussing how he writes all of his own songs on Twitter. With seemingly the whole hip-hop game going after the Toronto rapper, fans thought Cudi was throwing a shot by bragging about not using ghostwriters.

“No one writes my lyrics EVER,” Cudi responded to a fan theorizing that Lil Yachty wrote his song, “Superboy.” “Every song U have ever heard from me, I wrote. The credits on songs can be confusing when u see all those names, and its usually producers of the song or sample… Its a really powerful feeling knowing I wrote the lyrics on all 12 of my albums.” When one fan remarked that he must be taking a shot at Drake, Cudi responded: “Man me speakin my truth is not me dissing anyone. Its my truth. Its a fact. This came up cuz someone was talkin like yachty wrote my verse on superboy. Just wanted to address it and make it 100% clear.”

Cudi previously discussed his relationship with Drake back in 2022. At the time, the Toronto rapper had just made amends with Ye, something he couldn’t see himself doing with his former collaborator. Fans interpreted the remark as shade towards Drake. “Just to be clear, I wasnt tryna throw a shot at Drake,” he said. “I got love 4 him. My point I was tryna make is that im not so forgiving. Meaning he might be a lil nicer than me in that situation w dude. Thats all. Maybe that came off wrong thru my words. So yea, all good w Drake.”
