Bas And J. Cole Confidently Cruise On ‘The Jackie’ With Lil TJay

It’s been quite a while since J. Cole was not the lone lead act on a song he delivered to the world. To be more specific, the North Carolina native’s last feature came back at the beginning of 2019 when he lent a hand to Gang Starr’s “Family And Loyalty,” an effort Cole used to close out his memorable feature run that began in 2018. However, more than two years later, Cole is back as a supporting act on “The Jackie,” a track that finds him standing beside Bas and Lil Tjay for what arrives as an extremely confident track from the trio.

The T-Minus-produced record is a mostly melodic effort from the three rappers with Bas and J. Cole taking brief moments to let their bars shine. While the song is Lil Tjay’s first record with either Bas or J. Cole, “The Jackie” adds to a long list of efforts between the Dreamville rappers. Their most recent connection came on Cole’s The Off-Season where they joined forces for “100 Mill,” “Let Go My Hand,” and “Hunger On Hillside.”

“The Jackie” arrives after J. Cole announced The Off-Season tour with Morray and 21 Savage. Bas has been rather quiet recently, with his last album, Milky Way, arriving in 2018. However, “The Jackie” could be the first of many songs to arrive from the Dreamville rapper. As for Lil Tjay, 2021 has been productive for him as he’s just a few months removed from his second album, Destined 2 Win.

You can hear Cole, Bas, and Lil Tjay’s “The Jackie” in the video above.

Post Malone Burns Some Rubber And Parties In His Fast-Paced Video For ‘Motley Crew’

While he’s appeared as a guest act on a number of tracks within the last couple of years, the music world hasn’t received an original solo track from Post Malone in almost two years. The singer’s last release came in 2019 with his third album, Hollywood’s Bleeding. For those who have been waiting for new music from Posty, the wait has come to an end as he returns with his latest single, “Motley Crew.” The new track finds him leaning towards the hip-hop-ish side of his catalog in the effort that’s paired with a video that places him on a racetrack. The NASCAR-themed effort captures Post riding around a track while partying with the likes of Big Sean, Ty Dolla Sign, French Montana, Tyga, and others.

Posty’s newest single could soon bring us to the arrival of his fourth album, but according to his manager, Dre London, there may be a lot more in store for fans in 2021. “This that smile while on FaceTime with @postmalone agreeing that the world deserves 2 Posty projects out this year!” London wrote in the caption of an April 2021 Instagram post. “Discussing dates to drop the 1st one sooner than u think! I won’t tell u the title name just yet maybe next week.” That title has yet to be revealed, but from the looks of it, supporters of Posty won’t have to wait too long to receive it.

Duckwrth Is In High Spirits About A New Lover In His Happy-Go-Lucky Video For ‘Make U Go’

Following his 2019 EP, Falling Man, which he described as a “death and rebirth” during an interview with Uproxx, Duckwrth wiped off the debris off himself to start a new chapter in his career. That would turn out to be his 2020 project, SuperGood, an effort that made the fall and rise discussed on his 2019 project, at least somewhat worth it. Now, nearly a year removed from SuperGood, Duckwrth is preparing to share a new project with fans, but not without gracing them with a new video for his latest single, “Make U Go.”

The visual begins with Duckwrth cheerily walking through a park as he sings about a woman in his life and the good moments he hopes to bring to her. The camera soon pans away from him and next appears the woman in question on the screen. Duckwrth later returns to stand by her side while declaring the additional ways he plans to treat her right.

The “Make U Go” video arrives ahead of Duckwrth’s upcoming EP, SuperGood 8. The project will arrive in early September and it’s just a small bit of the music fans can expect from the singer in the coming future. Duckwrth is also slated to appear beside Cordae on “Settle The Score” from the upcoming soundtrack for the Space Jam: A New Legacy film.

DaBaby Proclaims His Next Album Will Go No. 1 While Delivering A Harsh Shot To His Haters

For someone who delivered three albums in a matter of eighteen months, DaBaby is certainly taking his time with his upcoming fourth album. It’s been more than a year since the North Carolina native shared a project with fans, but it looks like all of that is going to change soon.

The rapper took to his Instagram Story to share a very bold update on his upcoming album.

“This will be my third consecutive No. 1 album,” he said which means the project would join 2019’s Kirk and 2020’s Blame It On Baby as the chart-topping albums on his resume. That is, if his prediction is correct. Next, DaBaby took a moment to deliver a stern and harsh message to his haters.

“All you dirty ass dog d*ckriding, hating ass b*tches understand me, when this new one drop, I’ma politely let you motherfu*kers get right back on this d*ck,” he said while laughing. He added, “I’m the best at doing what I do…New album on the way, will be a No. 1 album.”

DaBaby’s message comes a month after he claimed rappers are “scared” to work with him because he’s “the best.” “Best mf rapper & I’m on ALLLAT shit these n****s LIE about,” he declared. “I’m him frfr. If a n**** ain’t tryna work with the real thang he SCARED. The best supposed to compete w/ the best These n****s just TALK like they like dat SHUUUUT UP.”

Juice WRLD Has A Trilogy Of Posthumous Projects On The Way, Beginning With ‘The Party Never Ends’

Juice WRLD’s previously announced EP, The Party Never Ends, is only the tip of the spear according to a new press release from Interscope announcing a trio of posthumous projects on the way. Apparently, the three projects will form a connected, three-part album, beginning with The Party Never Ends and continuing through the next two releases. An animated, sci-fi-inspired teaser trailer was also released, featuring a snippet of new music from the late Chicago rapper.

According to Complex, Juice’s former manager, Peter Jideonwo, told Twitch streamer Adin Ross that the project would end up featuring Lil Uzi Vert and “a few other big people.” According to Lil Bibby, the founder of Grade A Productions, the imprint under which Juice WRLD released the bulk of his music (with distribution and marketing from Interscope), in a series of now-deleted tweets, the first part of the album is planned to feature Travis Scott.

Juice, who was clearly quite prolific when recording, has verses on Migos’ recently released Culture III and on Maroon 5’s album Jordi, along with the new material coming via the three-part album releasing soon. Most recently, a deluxe version of his debut album was re-issued, featuring Lil Uzi Vert on a remix of his breakout song “Lucid Dreams.”

Migos Announce The Lineup For Their Las Vegas Weekender Fest, Including Duke Deuce, Gunna, And Lil Yachty

As Migos rolled out their album Culture III this spring, the Atlanta trap trio also revealed that they would be hosting their own festival in Las Vegas promoting the album in October (14-17). Now that it’s closer to the date in question, we have a better idea of what that festival is going to look like — especially since they’ve announced the headliners and more details about the event.

Far from being your usual field festival, they’re describing it as a full-on takeover, complete with pool parties, club nights, and of course, performances from Migos and their guests, which include fellow Quality Control Music artists like Duke Deuce and Lil Yachty, fellow Atlanta trap rap star Gunna, and some feminine representation from Kash Doll and Rubi Rose (who you may remember got her start as a model in their “Bad And Boujee” video with Lil Uzi Vert).

Migos

The venues include Drai’s Beachclub & Nightclub and Area 15, with more to come. The “Migos curated Vegas experience” will even include custom food and beverage menus and event partner Pollen is offering a “COVID-19 Money-Back Guarantee to make the event 100% refundable if it is canceled or rescheduled due to COVID-19.”

Tickets will go on sale Monday, July 12 and more information can be found here.
