Latto’s Booty Devours Skimpy Shorts & Leaves Everyone Speechless

The female hip-hop side of the industry has been on fire all year long so far. It feels like for the first time in a little while that the number of superstar ladies is just massive. Megan Thee Stallion, Nicki Minaj, Sexyy Red, Little Simz, GloRilla, and Ice Spice are just a handful of them. Latto is certainly right there in the thick of it, as it feels like every month she has a new banger. In 2024, she has “Sunday Service”, its remix with Megan and Flo Milli, her features for Jennifer Lopez and Anycia, and most recently, “Big Mama”. While it is not a release this year, “Seven” with Jung Kook of BTS fame is continuing to do serious numbers after eclipsing one billion streams in 2023. However, Latto is far from done feeding the fans, especially when it comes it her booty thirst traps.

Fans and artists alike are drooling over her dressing down in a causal wifebeater/Adidas black athletic shorts fit. The lax get-up continues down to Latto’s shoe game, as she is also sporting some Adidas cheetah print Wales Bonner low tops. Of course, the Columbus, Ohio native’s love for the animal print does not stop there. Latto completes the outfit with a matching bag and her now iconic cheetah print panties, which are teased in a suggestive manner.

While the buttocks are a major highlight once again, fans were also praising her other physical features. “No caption even needed, the face alone CLEARS”, one user gushes. “Never gotta do too much 🔥😍” another points out. SZA was being a girl’s girl in the comments, simply stating, “So fire”. Famous Dex popped out of the woodwork while getting quite kinky, “I wanna kiss them toes”. Latto did add a tweet in the photo dump that read, “I’m finna get cute & go out tf”. She certainly did that and all of her fans would agree.

Rema Cackles At His Haters On ‘HEHEHE,’ A Song From His Newly Announced Album Due Out Very Soon

“Monday morning talking about me while I’m making money,” Rema says to open “HEHEHE,” his newest single. And it might be the most literal lyric he’ll ever write. On Monday morning, July 8, Rema dropped “HEHEHE” and announced HEIS, his forthcoming album, so, yes, people are talking about him on a Monday morning while he presumably is always making money.

The 113-second vibe of a song hinges upon Rema melodically cackling at his haters and promising he has zero intention to ease up. “The drum patterns and cadence distinctly showcase his heritage, continuing his mission to connect listeners with his origins,” a press release additionally relayed.

HEIS will be released on Thursday, July 11. Rema last full-length release was March 2022’s Rave & Roses. The Afrobeats sensation added six songs for Rave & Roses (Ultra) in April 2023, including the “Calm Down” featuring Selena Gomez, which peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Radio Songs, Pop Airplay, and Rhythmic Airplay charts. It also enjoyed a No. 3 peak on the Billboard Hot 100.

Most recently, Rema teamed with Shallipopi for “Benin Boys,” an overwhelmingly positive single dripping in hometown pride.

Rema is scheduled to headline Afro Nation Detroit next month.

Listen to “HEHEHE” above, and check out Rema’s HEIS album cover art below.

Kendrick Lamar “Not Like Us” Botting Allegations Denied By Spotify

Kendrick Lamar has one of the biggest hits in the entire world right now with “Not Like Us.” Overall, the song is everywhere and it is pretty hard to escape. However, some are fatigued by it while others were simply never amused. That said, the vast majority of hip-hop fans love the song and have been bumping it since its release on May 4th. At this stage, there is no denying just how catchy the song is, and its various Spotify records showcase what a huge hit this really is.

Interestingly enough, some have been questioning the validity of these Spotify streams. DJ Akademiks has been the main internet personality bringing these questions to light. There is this narrative that Kendrick Lamar and Spotify were in cahoots to bot streams to make the song appear bigger than it actually is. While many brushed these allegations off as ridiculous, others took them very seriously. Well, it appears as though DJ Akademiks sought to get to the bottom of things.

Kendrick Lamar Scored A Huge Hit

In the clip above, you can see that Akademiks fessed up to talking to his connect at Spotify, directly. During their conversation, the connection claimed that Spotify was not botting streams and that they never would. “I talked to my man from Spotify. […] Them Kendrick streams is real,” Ak said simply. For those who already believed Kendrick was botting streams, this probably won’t move the needle. However, for many others, this is all they needed to hear.

Let us know what you think about this response from Spotify, in the comments section down below. Do you believe that this is the last we will hear about the botting allegations? What did you make of Akademiks bringing up these allegations, in the first place? Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. We will continue to keep you informed on all of your favorite artists and their upcoming projects.

50 Cent Brings “Final Lap Tour” Lite To Canadian Festival Circuit; Killer Mike Takes It To Church: FEQ Recap

At the BET Awards last week, Killer Mike delivered a poignant speech as he accepted the award for Best Rap Album – another triumphant award show night for the Atlanta rapper in 2024. “Technically, I was not supposed to be here,” Killer Mike said about his infamous arrest outside the Grammy Awards earlier this year. That same night, he took home three Grammy Awards for Michael. “I was put in handcuffs, and I was marched out of this building. But I wanna tell you, look at God because I’m back, baby. I’m back.”

His faith in God is at the forefront of his efforts, naturally sprinkling references to his faith across his catalog, whether alongside El-P as Run The Jewels or in his solo catalog. His latest album Michael is an autobiographical body of work that explores his Atlanta roots, both through vigorous levels of rhyming over soulful backdrops and a deep dive into how God brought him through hardships to glory. These Grammy wins and accolades symbolize how he overcame trials and tribulations throughout his life and still surpassed the circumstances that could’ve led him astray. But this message becomes more urgent during his live shows. Accompanied by the Mighty Revival and DJ Trackstar, Killer Mike brought the good folks of Quebec City to a church sermon (albeit, with a bit more cussing and weed smoke).

Michael‘s Victory Lap

via Etienne Dionne/FEQ

As part of his summer 2024 tour dates, he made his way through several Canadian cities in support of his excellent 2023 album, Michael. His performance at Festival D’Été Quebec on Friday night (July 6th) felt like another victory lap in a storied career that has seen him reach incredible heights without compromising his artistic integrity. His stage show brought a distinctly Southern feel that embodied his resilience, tenacity, and faith in a Higher Power. The jewels he dropped weren’t those of solely a rapper but one who delivers his words with the conviction of a pastor.

He admittedly tried to stray from religious reference, though stories about Solomon prefaced the emotionally charged “MAMA” and his mini-speeches in between songs felt like notes of inspiration for those who’ve also felt like their back were against the wall. Still, this was a rap show after all, and songs like “RUN” and “DOWN BY LAW” got the energy right for the remainder of the evening. But, at the core of Killer Mike’s performance was bringing Atlanta to the Canadians. The album cuts got the audience excited, for sure, but hard-hitting bangers including Big Boi’s “Kill Jill” and Bone Crusher’s “Never Scared,” alongside cuts from Run The Jewels and R.A.P Music, kept the crowd’s vibrancy at an all-time high.

Following such a triumphant year so far – even with a few mishaps – Killer Mike’s performance felt like a victory lap for an artist who never played the industry game yet exceeded every expectation set against him. But with a breath of gratitude to his tone, his recent feats and festival performances are a testament to his grind and reaping the fruits of his labor.

The Final Lap Tour Makes Its Way To Quebec City

via Etienne Dionne/FEQ

The greatest measure of an artist’s hit-making prowess is how it translates to crowds outside of their prime demographic, specifically those that don’t even really speak the same language. At le Festival D’Été Quebec in Quebec City (a primarily non-English city), 50 Cent served up a platter of bangers for an hour-and-a-half that affirms his presence as one of hip-hop’s greatest showmen. Following 50 Cent’s epic Final Lap tour in 2023, which saw him celebrate the 20th anniversary of Get Rich Or Die Tryin, he’s clearly in high demand for the summer festival circuit across the world. As we covered in 2023, the Final Lap tour was undoubtedly the tour of the summer, one that brought hip-hop fans, both old and new together, to witness one of rap’s greats perform his biggest hits; timeless classics that have become a staple in hip-hop and pop catalogs.

50 Cent initially stated the Final Lap tour would be his final haul on the road before focusing on his television and film productions. But, after surpassing over $100M in ticket sales last year (making it one of the highest-grossing hip-hop tours of all time), there are plenty of markets that ha highly sought after in plenty of markets that he didn’t hit last year. Joined by his hypemen, Tony Yayo and Uncle Murda, the G-Unit trifecta delivered a more toned-down version of what they brought across North America last year, likely due to the venue change. Festivals provide ample room for pyrotechnics but the setup didn’t necessarily welcome some of the more theatrical elements, such as the wild t-shirt change that went viral last year and even the complex transitions throughout the set (i.e. popping out from under the stage).

The People Love 50

via Etienne Dionne/FEQ

Nonetheless, his performance in Quebec City is a microcosm of 50 Cent’s global appeal. Though the audience might not be entirely tuned into Power (“Big Rich Town” certainly wasn’t even close to being the highlight of the evening), the epic run as a solo artist and with G-Unit throughout the 2000s formed the baseline of his set that transcended language barriers, further emphasizing the grip he’s had on the world since the release of Get Rich Or Die Tryin’.

“I’m On Some Sh*t” may have felt like a bit of a lackluster opener for this audience, especially since the majority seemed unfamiliar with his mixtape run. But, you could imagine that records like “What Up Gangsta,” “Just A Lil Bit,” and “If I Can’t” had the nearly 80,000+ in attendance singing along word-for-word. But once he started going into the real hit records, from his collaborations with The Game to songs like “Candy Shop,” “In Da Club,” and other definitive songs of the mid-2000s, it further affirmed Fif as one of the culture’s pivotal figure who contributed to hip-hop’s global appeal, from his days bullying his peers on his early mixtapes to outshining each of them once he formally entered the game.

Nicki Minaj Calls Off Her Romania Concert Due To Protests

Nicki Minaj has sadly ran into some issues during her European tour this year, though this fortunately isn’t as much of a headache as an arrest. Moreover, she took to social media on Sunday (July 7) to give the saddening news that she chose to cancel her show in Romania that night. Roman cited safety concerts from her security team due to protests in the area, as citizens advocated for a change in the country’s fiscal policies. There’s still no news on whether or not she plans to do another concert in the area to make up for it, but for now, she chose to be safe rather than sorry.

“Out of concern for the well-being of our team and myself, I have been advised by my security detail not to travel to Romania’s festival tonight due to safety concerns regarding protests in the area,” Nicki Minaj shared on Twitter. “I look forward to seeing you all at another time. As a mom, I have to make sure I’m making sound decisions for me to make it home to my son and for my team to make it home to their families.

Nicki Minaj Cancels Romanian Show

“To not heed the advice of security at this time is simply not what I think I should be doing,” Nicki Minaj continued. “I love you and thank you for your understanding and support. I am very excited to see my fans this Friday in London for another very special headlining show at Wireless Festival.” What’s more is that we know she kept herself entertained these days despite this setback, or at least, that’s what fans think. Many believe the Trinidadian MC has made fun of MEGAN‘s first week sales, given her feud with Megan Thee Stallion.

Regardless, hopefully the rest of Nicki Minaj’s year goes more according to plan, and she can continue to connect with fans around the world. She recently resolved an issue with former manager Deb Antney for reaching out to Lil Kim behind her back, and more heartening and conciliatory moments like these would be very welcome. But for Romanian die-hards, hopefully you get another chance soon to see your fav. We know that whenever Gag City comes through, it’s a massive event, so it’ll most likely be worth the wait.

Lil Wayne Thanks GloRilla For Being The Only Person Who Greeted Him At The White Party

Lil Wayne was among the more famous guests at Michael Rubin’s Fourth of July White Party, but it seems like he didn’t hang out much. Moreover, he recently spoke during an interview about the experience, which also hosted his Young Money partner, Drake. However, Weezy shouted out GloRilla as “the only person that really came up to me and really hollered at me,” which is a bit surprising out of context. In fact, it makes Drizzy’s picture with Glo at the bash all the more curious, as fans were already commenting on how old the Toronto superstar looks after his Kendrick Lamar battle.

Furthermore, it’s interesting that Lil Wayne chose to shout the Memphis femcee out in this way when they were all there, and especially when she herself hung out with Drake. We don’t know if he’s really serious about this or if he’s referring to something else, but either way, there’s another rapper that probably wanted to see him for sure and didn’t get the chance. Birdman hosted the Cash Money reunion at the Essence Festival in New Orleans recently, but Tunechi did not appear alongside his Hot Boys brethren and others. Instead, he just had a solo set during the celebrations, which disappointed many.

Lil Wayne Shouts Out GloRilla

As for GloRilla, we know that she has a pretty close relationship with another massive star: Rihanna. Both have shown each other a lot of love recently after RiRi posted a video of her rapping Glo’s “TGIF” to her boo, A$AP Rocky. In fact, she even DM’d the Megan Thee Stallion collaborator about when her album was dropping. The irony in that is that she could ask the Barbadian creative the very same thing, as fans have wanted R9 for almost a decade now.

Meanwhile, Lil Wayne had another celebrity shoutout to make recently, but it wasn’t a very positive one. He challenged a viral tweet that claimed Justin Timberlake was the most famous Green Bay Packers fan, as he has repped the team for a long time and is arguably more relevant right now than J.T. Still, that’s just a speculative interpretation of what the clap-back meant, as it was probably just a joke anyway. Perhaps we shouldn’t take this remark too seriously, but no matter what, we’ll never complain about someone showing GloRilla some well-deserved love.

Ice Spice Hilariously Responds To Taylor Swift Collab Boos At Rolling Loud

Ice Spice has dealt with haters throughout her entire career, and not even seeing them right up in their faces can make her fold under pressure. Moreover, she recently performed at Rolling Loud Europe in Vienna over the weekend, and was probably surprised when people started booing her and showing her thumbs down signs when she played her Taylor Swift collab, “Karma.” The Bronx femcee chose to simply blow a kiss in the displeased crowd’s direction as a reaction to all this, simply letting them know that she isn’t here for the hate. It’s a pretty innocuous and awkward moment overall, but one that she handled as quickly as she could have.

However, this isn’t the only reason why Ice Spice’s recent live shows have been the subject of some interesting, albeit ridiculously salacious, discussions online. For example, fans recently debated whether she’s tired of constantly twerking as part of her image based on her facial expressions while throwing it back during a recent set. We don’t know how a facial expression necessarily converts to annoyance, especially when it’s part of a planned performance and it’s been such a common part of the routine so far. Ritualistic fatigue is a very real thing, but to equate it to a dance seems a bit overboard.

Ice Spice Blows Off Booing Fans At Rolling Loud Europe

Nevertheless, we’re sure that Ice Spice will continue to defend “Karma” to either live crowds or Internet haters, as she built quite the close bond with Taylor Swift. They created a lot of big moments as of late, whether it was their sonic team-up or their outings with Travis Kelce and company. Either way, the Swifties are such a large group that we’re sure the “Princess Diana” MC will always have an army behind her. Still, many of them presumably and sadly don’t go to many rap festivals, so it will be hard for them to do so in a live setting.

Meanwhile, there are also some new dating rumors surrounding Ice Spice thanks to her multiple outings with Central Cee. With all this in mind, there seem to be endless angles to talk about when it comes to her current career moves, especially with the new album Y2K coming soon. So we’ll see what future concerts and festival sets look like, and whether “Karma” will make the setlist. Sometimes, it’s important to read the room.

Who Is Jordan Howlett? Learn More About The Viral Donald Glover & Method Man Lookalike

Come here. Wait, back up.

If you recognize the above bit, you probably know of Jordan Howlett, aka “Jordan The Stallion,” the 27-year-old TikTok star best known for his “fast food secrets club” posts, where he dishes on the ingredients and recipes used by corporate food giants like Olive Garden or KFC.

Lately, though, Jordan has become known for something else, though: His uncanny resemblance to not just one, but TWO of hip-hop’s favorite artists. Fans noticed he looks just like both Method Man and Childish Gambino, despite generational differences, and both artists have appeared in comedic vignettes with Jordan riffing on his “old man” clothes and reading from his notebook of “secret recipes.” Check out some videos and photos below.

https://twitter.com/themrd81/status/1809685366628344091

So, who is Jordan, and how does he know so much? Well, according to San Diego Magazine, he’s a native of Southern California who was born near LA and grew up in nearby Victorville before moving with his family to San Diego-adjacent Oceanside. Per the New York Times, he originally had dreams of baseball stardom — however, due to his awkward nature, he never received any college offers, so after community college, he transferred to UC Riverside, hoping to make its team as a walk-on. He earned a scholarship (which was a good thing, because he only had enough money for one partial tuition payment and slept in his car for a while), but the pandemic derailed his hopes.

After working a string of fast food jobs, he took a swing at building a TikTok following after his older brother saw some viral success. His content consisted — at least at first — of what the Times describes as “uncontroversial — or playfully controversial — topics,” while talking into his phone, pointed at a mirror, zooming in and out to emphasize his points. The notebook made an appearance a couple of years ago, and has become a staple of his content profile since. And as he grows in stature, so too do the guest cameos; in one video, Kevin Hart pops in unannounced to have a jovial argument with the content creator.

He naturally plays coy about just where all those recipes come from, but it’s probably safe to assume he took a few things home from those jobs. Now, if only he can get people to stop asking him to rap.

Lil Reese Denies Inciting Violence Amid Bhad Bhabie Controversy

There is apparently a Lil Reese imposter on the loose, as the fake account left some comments surrounding the Bhad Bhabie situation. According to HipHopDX, the 21-year-old shared some truly disturbing footage and imagery from June 30 following an alleged physical assault by her baby daddy, Le Vaughn. If you are sensitive to violence, we highly suggest you not view the second “[Via]” link below. However, the evidence from Bhad Bhabie is there if you do want to view it. In the clips from around 4:30 a.m., she is thrown down repeatedly and after the gruesome altercation she was left with bruises, bumps, and cuts all over her face.

As of now, the post from the OF model/rapper has been deleted from her page. Le Vaughn has also not spoken out about any of it, and there is no word on if Bhabie has taken any legal action. She also wrote online talking about how she will not allow her partner custody of their child. “This man think he gonna take my daughter from me! Say whatever you want but tryna take my baby is crazy”. Tensions have been rising with this couple for some time and things seemingly escalated to unthinkable proportions.

As for how Chicago rapper Lil Reese ties into this development, let us explain. It appears that someone online is running a fake page and the troller commented on an X post surrounding the alleged abuse. “Lil Reese” was disgusted with the news and was willing to go after Le Vaughn. “Dis s*** so crazy… We gunna find dude 💨”. However, the real Reese wanted to clarify that he said nothing of the sort. “Bro that’s not me writing that 😂😂😂”. Fans were frankly not surprised that the Chief Keef affiliate was quick to shut that down. Many were citing his 2012 videotaped assault on a woman in Chicago. “Yeah cause we know you super punched a woman in 2012 and thought we forgot 😂”, one user wrote.

What are your thoughts on Lil Reese clearing the air around his impersonator’s comments about the Bhad Bhabie situation? How bad of a look is this for the Chicago rapper to admit this? How do you think that alleged abuse fiasco will end? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments.
