PinkPantheress Explained Why Her Remix Of ‘Boy’s A Liar’ With Ice Spice Changed Her Opinion On Original Version

PinkPantheress checked a “false narrative” about her when a comment she made in an interview went viral, mischaracterizing her opinion on her fan-favorite breakout hit, “Boy’s A Liar,” and its remix with Ice Spice. In the interview with The Guardian, PinkPantheress is quoted saying, “They’re crap,” but after the comments went viral on Twitter, she had to step in and make her own correction.

https://twitter.com/popcrave/status/1723791041https://uproxx.com/music/doja-cat-doubles-down-on-cash-grab-comments/105698938

“lord help us,” she wrote, adding a laughing emoji to show it wasn’t that serious. “I told the journalist I thought the OG was crap at first but the remix made me love it, I’ve said this openly before too.”

Perhaps she was worried that the comment would be received similar to Doja Cat’s comments. Ahead of the release of her new album Scarlet, the “Paint The Town Red” rapper called her two previous albums “cash-grabs” that fans “fell for.” Fans angrily responded by unfollowing her in droves on Instagram — although that didn’t stop her Scarlet Tour from selling out. (During a recent stop on the tour, she delivered a well-timed callback as she performed “Say So,” the breakout hit from her second album .)

However, perhaps PinkPantheress needn’t worry; after all, Billie Eilish also said something similar and her fans agreed when she said one of her biggest hits, “Bad Guy,” is “the stupidest song in the world.”

How Much Will Drake & J. Cole’s ‘It’s All A Blur Tour — Big As The What?’ Tickets Be?

Drake fans might be experiencing whiplash this morning, November 13. Drake’s It’s All A Blur Tour with 21 Savage wrapped in early October at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena, but it’s already time to gear up for Round 2. This morning, Drake and J. Cole announced their It’s All A Blur Tour — Big As The What?

Earlier this year, Cole and Drake co-headlined Dreamville Festival, and most recently, Drake’s “First Person Shooter” featuring J. Cole went No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 — becoming Cole’s first-career No. 1 and Drake’s 13th-career No. 1 on the chart. In other words, a joint tour has been bubbling for a while. (Not to mention, the tour’s title is ripped from the “First Person Shooter” chorus.) Below is what we know about the joint 2024 North American tour (so far).

How Much Are Tickets For Drake and J. Cole’s It’s All A Blur Tour — Big As The What? Tour?

This March, fans were displeased to see that tickets to Drake and 21 Savage’s It’s All A Blur Tour were marked as high as $1,000 during the presale. In August, Billboard additionally relayed that last-minute resale tickets could be had for anywhere from $262 to $800 and over $1,000. There’s no reason to believe that It’s All A Blur Tour — Big As The What? tickets won’t be just as (if not more) expensive.

While resale sites like Ticketmaster and Vivid Seats already have tickets listed — a pre-order resale, if you will — we won’t know the official It’s All A Blur Tour — Big As The What? ticket prices until the presale.

When Will Tickets Go On Sale, and How Do I Buy Them?

As per a press release, a presale for Cash App users is set to take place, beginning on Wednesday, November 15, at 11 a.m. local time and ending at Thursday, November 16, at 10 p.m. local time.

Instructions for the Cash App presale can be found here. Then, the general sale will happen here on Friday, November 17, at 11 a.m. local time.

Karlissa Saffold Blasts Jaidyn Alexis’ “Barbie” Performance As Jason Lee Teases Blueface’s Mom’s Interview

Between Blueface’s two baby mamas, it’s never quite clear who Karlissa Saffold is rooting for her son to spend the rest of his life with. We’ve heard her bash both Chrisean Rock and Jaidyn Alexis, though lately, she seems to be rooting for the 23-year-old to reconcile with her baby’s daddy while pushing the “Stewie” rapper out of the picture. After seeing the live show Blue put together for his fiancee this past weekend, Saffold had plenty of thoughts about the future of her potential daughter-in-law’s career, including some ideas about the benefits dance class and other lessons could offer Alexis.

“I know I’m not in the jacuzzi yet, but I just couldn’t wait to get this message off my heart on Sunday morning,” the Porter family matriarch told her Instagram viewers yesterday (November 12). “I just seen Jaidyn Alexis’ performance, and this is gonna be a loving, honest delivery,” Karlissa continued, noting that on another day, in her swimsuit, she might’ve laid into the MILF Music signee harder. “Jonathan, baby! I know you want Jaidyn to gone head and become this fabulous artist. She got a long way to go son,” her rant began.

Saffold didn’t stop there. “You are humiliating and embarrassing her,” Blue’s mom insisted. “You need to give her a few weeks of classes – dance and movement. In the meantime, have your sister, who’s the real artist, get up there and sing that song for you, ‘cuz that’s your song,” she added, furthering the narrative that the 26-year-old wrote the sassy lyrics to “Barbie.”

Jason Lee Teases Karlissa Saffold Interview

Karlissa Saffold’s social media profiles were privy to plenty of juicy content this past weekend. To kick things off, Blueface’s mom pulled up on Chrisean Rock to finally meet her grandson, Junior, two months into his life. Now, Hollywood Unlocked CEO Jason Lee is hinting at dropping his interview with her soon, and it’s sure to be filled with industry tea. Will you be tuning in to that conversation? Doja Cat Has A Puzzling Message For Her Fans: “Me Is Me”

Ever since we got around the rollout of Doja Cat’s fourth studio album, Scarlet, she really changed in a lot of ways. Over the months leading up to the release, her posts on social media were setting her fanbase ablaze. What really set things off was an interaction on Twitter between her and a fan asking the rapper to say she loves her fans. Doja essentially replied she cannot do that because she does not really know them like that. While she does have a point, it still got her fans hot. But, if you have not been paying attention, she could not care less about how they feel.

While it was pretty much expected that the California artist was going to address all of this on Scarlet, it was still executed very well. Especially after the singles “Attention” and “Paint The Town Red,” respectively, she did it in a way that was tasteful. Even after the release, Doja is not backing down from this new outlook on her life and her career. On Sunday, November 12, she announced that she had a big message coming today. Some were upset about the teaser leading up to it, saying she was putting on blackface in the interview with herself.

A post shared by Doja Cat (@dojacat)

It sort of turned out to be a ruse. Doja hopped on her Instagram to leave a confusing and vague message for her followers. What we could decipher from all of the “Me’s” is that she is going to continue to be herself no matter what. People can decide for themselves if they want to embrace it and continue to follow her. If they do not feel like it, then she will not be bothered in the slightest. One commenter has the same take as us, saying, “Ok so guys, I think she’s saying she’s gonna be her for a minute.” Some also had some funny reactions. One goes, “Me when I smoke weed and try to tell a story.”

What are your initial thoughts on Doja Cat’s vague message to her fans on Instagram? What did you decode from the video she provided? Are you still rocking with her new style and behavior? We would like to hear what you have to say about all of this. With that in mind be sure to leave all of your hottest takes in the comments section below. SZA Reflects On Grandmother’s Passing In Response To Grammy Nominations

SZA reacted to her nine nominations for the 2024 Grammy Awards on Twitter, Monday morning. In doing so, she reflected on the passing of her grandmother, who attended the awards ceremony the last time she was competing.

When one fan asked why she hadn’t commented on her nominations, SZA responded: “Cause I’m overwhelmed by it and it gives me [a lot of] anxiety to think of words. But I’m very grateful and very shook and I wish my granny was here to come [with] me again.” In another post, she shared a picture of her grandmother backstage at the Grammys. “Last time I was most nominated my granny flew out for the first time… bittersweet thoughts. [Heart emoji].”

Omarion Released Sped-Up Version Of “Post To Be,” Fans Clown Him For It

2014 was a year of many big-time hits for the rap and R&B genres. One of them that sort of flies under the radar is Omarion’s “Post to Be.” It has tons of star-studded talent all over it. From the features of Chris Brown and Jhene Aiko to the production from Mike Free and Mustard it had the makings of a special song. Sure enough, it became just that. According to AllHipHop, some of these charting numbers are insane. In its debut, the track reached as high as No. 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and No. 5 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.

Omarion and the producers did a great job of making it a versatile song too. You could play it at the club, a beach or pool hangout, or cruise to it during the summer. After nine years of the song sitting on the shelves, it sits at nearly 448 million streams on Spotify. However, even with the major success of the single, Omarion is seen as more of a one-hit-wonder to many. Sped-up versions of songs are becoming more and more popular as of late and he decided to hop on the trend.

Omarion Catches Tons Of Flack

Well, that may not have been the best idea it turns out. The sped-up version was released a couple of days ago and fans were not enjoying it one bit. So many @ Omarion on Twitter giving their harsh feedback to the singer. One might have gone too far. He says, “Fake your death we will run them streams man then delete this nonsense from your computer ffs.” Omarion responded to it with four laughing emojis and said, “Y’all are truly ridiculous.” It seems he is being a good sport and not taking the criticism to heart. You are not always “Post to be” winning them all.

What are your initial thoughts on the sped-up version of Omarion, Chris Brown, and Jhene Aiko’s 2014 track, “Post to Be?” Do you agree with the fans on Twitter, or do you think it is a good rework? Is this song still in your rotation? We would like to hear what you have to say about all of this. With that in mind, be sure to leave all of your hottest takes in the comments section below. Ice Spice Rejects Drink From A Fan In Resurfaced Video

Ice Spice remains one of the hottest newcomers in hip-hop right now. Back in 2022, Spice burst onto the scene thanks to her hit track “Munch.” Overall, this track was a huge success that led to her getting even more hit tracks. Subsequently, she has been able to work with the likes of Nicki Minaj and even Taylor Swift. Going into the Grammy Awards, she has four nominations, which is truly impressive. At this point, one could make the argument that she has one of the brightest futures we have seen in quite a long time.

That said, anything Ice Spice related has the potential to go viral. Simply put, people love the rap star. In fact, on Twitter yesterday, a video popped up that actually comes from the TikTok of a Bronx rapper named Naughtyy. The video is almost a year old and shows Ice Spice chilling at the club. As you can see, Naughtyy brings the rapper a drink which leads to a short exchange. Spice takes the drink and places it behind her. However, there is a deeper story to all of it.

Read More: Ice Spice Secures Best New Artist Nomination At The Grammys

Ice Spice Was Polite About It

Naughtyy is narrating the video and she explains how Spice told her that she doesn’t drink. Regardless, Naughtyy insisted that the artist take the drink and give it to a friend. Eventually, Spice did just that and put it down behind her. Naughtyy eventually acknowledges how she believes Spice probably thought she was trying to poison her. After all, accepting drinks at the club from people can be a dangerous game. You always have to be cognizent of your surroundings, no matter what.

Hopefully, this serves as a lesson to all of you who plan on going out to the club. It is much better to be safe than sorry. Let us know what you thought of Ice Spice turning down the drink, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world.
