Lil Nas X Remixes Nicki Minaj’s “FTCU”: Listen

Pink Friday 2 is here, and there are a lot of artists that are feeling more like Barbz these days as a result. Moreover, many fellow rappers and musicians in other genres came forward to show their love to Nicki Minaj’s latest album. The most recent addition in that vein actually came in the form of a new remix. Furthermore, Lil Nas X recently took to social media, particularly Instagram, to share his remix of the track “FTCU,” which includes a brag-heavy, boisterous, and bombastic new verse from him. He comes off with a lot of charisma and with some funny bars and references, whether it’s proclaiming his Nicki standom or pulling together some punchlines with Doja Cat song titles.

Not only that, but this is very interesting given the Georgia artist’s recent switch-up into his self-proclaimed “Christian era.” As is unfortunately usual for him, he faced a lot of backlash as a result, but also some surprising support from a leader in the Christian rap space, Lecrae. Hopefully this means that Lil Nas X wasn’t deterred from expressing himself in whatever way he saw fit. Who knows, maybe other future remixes of his will also take on this religious slant.

“FTCU” Remix By Lil Nas X: Listen

What we wouldn’t bet on, though, is for the MONTERO superstar to cook up more remixes of the Trinidadian MC. For those unaware, Lil Nas X and Nicki Minaj have a complicated relationship, although they’ve never been too close to one another to begin with. Rather, their bond stems from his aforementioned love of her and her music, which became a hot topic in the headlines at one point. Following some apparently rejected collabs and some fanbase clashing, we’d remain pretty skeptical of the idea that they could eventually come together.

However, we’d love to be proven wrong, as they are too talented of a duo to pass up on. It’s nowhere near the level of cold war that the “Red Ruby Da Sleeze” hitmaker has with Cardi B, but it’s still a touchy subject. Do you think that Nas Maraj will eventually get to work with his Queen? Let us know down in the comments section below. In addition, keep checking in with HNHH for more news and the latest updates on Lil Nas X and Nicki Minaj.

Boosie Badazz Rants About Rod Wave On IG Live

During a recent Instagram Live, fans asked Boosie Badazz if he would be attending Rod Wave’s show in Atlanta amid their ongoing beef. For obvious reasons, the Louisiana native wasn’t, but threw a bit of shade his way before changing the subject. According to him, Rod Wave offered to “pull up,” but ultimately decided to pay a lawyer instead.

The two artists’ beef first began when Boosie called Rod Wave out for allegedly sampling his song without paying him during another Instagram Live. “Can’t let you just take my sh*t and I’m not getting nothing,” he said. “I just want my split, you know, my cut … I ain’t mad, I love when they do that sh*t.” Things only escalated when he took to Twitter to continue his rant, prompting a response from Rod Wave.

Boosie Badazz Throws Shade At Rod Wave

“On my momma Boosie,” he said. “Big bra I fw ya tell me a real number. Yeen even gotta do all dat tell me a number ima pull [up] and bring it to you!!” At that point, however, it was too late. Boosie went on to tease what sounds like a Rod Wave diss track, taking the tension to a new level. Rod Wave later denied stealing the song, and even threatened to quit music altogether. Boosie didn’t let up, eventually announcing a lawsuit.

“Hell no, that n***a Rod Wave ain’t pull up on me,” he told fans. “I don’t own the song fully, I own a percentage of it. I still have publishing in it and writer’s credits. So, I guess when he found out that, he don’t want to give me nothing. We going to court. Nobody contacted me. Nobody gave me my publishing. Nobody gave me my writer’s credit. How you clear it, when you ain’t clear it with me?” What do you think of Boosie Badazz throwing shade at Rod Wave during his recent Instagram Live? What about their ongoing beef? Sexyy Red Denies Leaking Her Own Sex Tape On Purpose

A few months ago right in the middle of her commercial breakthrough, Sexyy Red was at the center of a shocking controversy. Fans were shocked to find that a video of her having sex was uploaded, and then quickly deleted from her Instagram story. While it was pretty quickly deleted it was available plenty long enough for fans to screen record the video and share it around online. The video sparked a firestorm of debate over why and how it ended up on Red’s story in the first place.

It didn’t take Sexyy Red long to deny leaking the video on purpose. She responded to the controversy with a tweet shared the same day. “I’m so heartbroken anybody that kno me knows I wouldn’t do no goofy sh*t like that,” she said in her response to the story. Despite that, rumors have persisted in the months since that she leaked the video on purpose. Fans have continued to speculate the reasons she may have shared the video. But now Red is trying to finally explain the situation. Check out her response below.

Sexyy Red Opens Up On Sex Tape Leak

Red recently appeared on The Breakfast Club with an explanation of how the video was posted. While she’s pretty brief at first, after being pressed on it she elaborates with a full explanation. She reveals that she was editing the video in the Instagram app. But when she finished, she ended up accidentally sharing it publicly without realizing. But that explanation doesn’t seem like it’s going to slow down fan speculation anytime soon.

In the comments of a repost of the clip, many fans aren’t buying her explanation. “Threw the phone and it uploaded ? Had 3 months to come up with a lie and that’s the best you can do,” one of the top comments on the post reads. Others take a more practical approach to trying to disprove her story. “It’s definitely a process to post something but whatever .. it’s not just one click .. smh,” another top comment reads. What do you think of Sexyy Red’s explanation of how her sextape was leaked? Let us know in the comment section below.

Doja Cat Speaks On Sam Hyde Drama & Relationship With Her Fans

Doja Cat recently sat down with Ebro Darden on Apple Music (which you can watch here), and they had a whole lot of topics to talk about. She released her album Scarlet earlier this year, has had a lot of other success and evolutionary moments in her career, and also faced satanist accusations that she called “tacky.” However, one of the most interesting parts of this conversation have to do with the “Paint The Town Red” hitmaker’s more scandalous controversies as of late. One of these stems from her use of a shirt featuring Sam Hyde, a controversial comedian who is infamous for his political views and social leanings. The other relates to Doja’s relationship with her fans, whom she refuses to tell that she loves them because they don’t really know each other.

Furthermore, let’s start on that first point. She claimed ignorance when it comes to Hyde’s controversies, and said that she never intended to cosign, promote, or acknowledge any line of thought in particular, especially ideologies that are more destructive. However, Doja Cat also believes that people took this too far, and that her fame numbed her to negative opinion. “It didn’t affect the world in a way where we have to look behind our backs,” she told Ebro.

Doja Cat Addresses Sam Hyde Controversy: Watch

On the other hand, we have her connection to her fanbase, which has gotten a lot better in recent weeks. Still, many fans think that the Los Angeles native is not as appreciative, thankful, or considerate when it comes to her die-hards as she should be. Regardless of the responses to her comments, she maintained in this new interview that she never presents any negativity; just an acknowledgement of reality. “One thing that I do want to set straight is that you’ll never see a direct quote of me saying, ‘I hate my fans,’” Doja Cat shared. “ Not once. But it’s a really big misquoted thing where everybody is saying, ‘She hates her fans.’”

Meanwhile, the 28-year-old recently praised Nicki Minaj, so fans hope that a collab is on the way. With this and these new interview comments in mind, it’s heartening to see her move past a lot of what’s dogged her this year. Hopefully that upward trend continues. What Did Kanye West Rant About At His ‘Vultures’ Listening?

Kanye West

Fans looking forward to Kanye West’s second Vultures listening event in Las Vegas were disappointed this week as Kanye West (unsurprisingly) failed to make the event happen. Instead, the world was treated to yet another West rant, this time about the “vultures” who spend all their time cozying up to him despite his pretty reprehensible behavior over the past several months (years, really) hoping for scraps from the table.

Fittingly, the rant was transmitted courtesy of Miami event promoter YesJulz, who live streamed as ‘Ye railed against all the people and entities he feels betrayed him after he, again, went on MULTIPLE antisemitic rants — which, again, he did after five-plus years of bigging up bigots, bullying his ex’s boyfriend, and behaving like a true scammer when it came to the one thing anyone actually wanted from him: new music.

In the video, he again goes off on “Jewish n****s,” particularly entertainment exec Ari Emanuel, who he blames for getting him dropped from his lucrative deals with Adidas and Gap. He also called out Adidas for dropping him and Jay-Z for distancing himself from Kanye when it became clear that Kanye wasn’t going to behave himself (some years before his 2022 meltdowns). Considering Kanye was exhibiting his sex tapes during business meetings, I’m not sure he can blame anyone but himself though.

Kanye goes deep down the conspiracy theory rabbit hole, becoming more and more impassioned as he continues. The 10-minute video ends with Kanye calling everyone in the room with him “fake” for only hanging around him for his money and influence (gasp!) and kicks YesJulz out of the room. You can see the incident below.

Nicki Minaj Claimed ‘Pink Friday 2’ Sales Were Removed By ‘Billboard’ And Here’s Why That May Have Happened

Nicki Minaj released her latest album, Pink Friday 2, last Friday (December 8), and it has a good chance at debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart; The most noteworthy album that also released on the same day would be Tate McRae’s Think Later. It appears Minaj’s album may not end up with as many first-week sales as the rapper was counting on, though.

As Stereogum notes, in a now deleted post, Minaj announced a contest for her fans, writing, “Show the PROOF of your 4 vinyls OR 4 DIGITAL DOWNLOADS (each cover) & you can win what he just did. A Change to help me pick the next 3 songs for the #GagCity2 edition that comes out in 5 days. In person ;).”

Then, in also-deleted tweets shared yesterday, December 14, Minaj claimed that Billboard was removing 100,000 sales from the tracking week for Pink Friday 2 due to the contest. She wrote, “been discussing my 100 barbz contest for months. they said billboard reached out to say they gon take away sales for me telling y’all about the 100 barbz thing. Can’t wait until these next 6 hours are up so I can tell y’all some sh*t. You can give out millions in cashapp money tho. Lol. So barbz, me asking you to show PROOF of something that was already DELIVERED OR PURCHASED IS AGAINST THE RULES. SO pls disregard. Apologies.”

She added in another tweet:

“They so mad

They said 170-190 knowing it was 200k alrdy.

Then they said 199 just so that 2 wouldn’t leave they moof chi

It’s at 300 but once they filter out 100K, you’ll be none the fking wiser.

I’m being punished for:

Not signing a 360

Making great music

Having great fans

And for not leaving the game so that their new Nicki’s (who signed 360 deals) can be propped up to look as tho they are a lot more successful than they rlly are.

Having too much power

#PinkFriday2.”

On a related note, Billboard reported this past May:

“Limited combinations of merchandise and physical albums will be counted on Billboard‘s album charts starting this summer, but with new rules to prevent the issues that led to the elimination of such ‘bundles’ three years ago.

The new combinations of merch and albums, dubbed ‘fan packs,’ will allow fans to support their favorite artists on the charts in a way that research suggests that many would like to. However, the packs will be restricted to just two options per album release — a sweatshirt with an LP and a t-shirt with a CD, for example — with the requirement that each individual item must also be sold separately in the same web store. Fan packs will include only merch — not tickets, meet-and-greet opportunities, virtual items or non-tangible benefits — and they must also contain a physical copy of an album: Combinations of digital downloads and merch will not count towards the charts. In addition, fan pack offerings must be approved in advance of their on-sale date by Luminate and Billboard. […]

The new rules allowing fan packs will take effect during the tracking week that runs from June 30 to July 6, 2023, for charts dated July 15.”

What’s The Meaning Behind Doja Cat’s ‘F*ck The Girls?’

According to Doja Cat, she lives for all of the public’s attention, whether good or bad. On her album Scarlet, she used several verses across tracks like “Agora Hills,” “97,” and “F*ck The Girls” to address some of the online chatter. While it was clear for most of her bars who she was aiming at, “F*ck The Girls” was intentionally vague.

What’s The Meaning Behind Doja Cat’s “F*ck The Girls?”

Yesterday (December 14), during a sit-down with Apple Music’s Ebro Darden, the rapper revealed that despite rumors that the track was a subtle shot at frenemy Nicki Minaj or any other musician, it was actually about stan culture (an ongoing feud for her).

“It’s me saying f*ck Stan Twitter,” she said. “There’s that obsessiveness behind it, all the malice towards women in stan culture. The condescending-ness of people being like, ‘Mother, oh my god, queen, mother,’ and expecting them to give and deliver and serve for the purpose of serving and not just expressing themselves. And in the same breath, they’ll insult that person as well as call them ‘mother.’ None of that sh*t is real, that’s where ‘F*ck The Girls’ comes from.”

Here’s Doja Cat’s spicy second verse for “F*ck The Girls.”

“Said suck my d*ck, clit, tits, I’m yellin’ “666” / I can’t believe how bold you think the line’s that thin / I’m gettin’ rich-rich-rich, how many lick-lick-licks / Is it gon’ take to feel the barrel of my / Now what the heck, darn, frick? Y’all want attention / Since when was y’all my bastard children? Go ‘head and raise y’all self / Come get ya badass kids, no need to mention / I been sittin’ on that thought for a minute, now I got time for a min / I’m never poppin’ no sh*t, I focus most on my craft / I stay on top of my sh*t, but y’all done got me convinced / That I’m the popularist, that’s why you watchin’ my moves / So check the time on ya wrist, that’s why my mama said.”

Did Kanye West And Kid Cudi End Their Beef?

In recent times, there has been some tension between Kanye West and Kid Cudi, who released the collaborative album Kids See Ghosts in 2018. In April 2022, after he and Kanye both appeared on the same song from Pusha T’s It’s Almost Dry, Cudi tweeted, “Hey! So I know some of you heard about the song I got w Pusha. I did this song a year ago when I was still cool w Kanye. I am not cool w that man. He’s not my friend and I only cleared the song for Pusha cuz thats my guy. This is the last song u will hear me on w Kanye.”

Did Kanye West and Kid Cudi end their beef?

Now, though, it looks like the two are on better terms.

Kanye and Ty Dolla Sign had a listening event for their upcoming album Vultures last night (December 14), and videos from the event show that Cudi was in attendance. One fan-shot video shows Cudi and Kanye happily sharing a hug. Another shows that during the event, Kanye and Ty played a new song featuring vocals from Cudi. So, at some point between Cudi’s tweet and yesterday, it appears Kanye and Cudi worked through their differences and got back on the same page.

Nicki Minaj Brings Out Kai Cenat And Fanum At Concert

Nicki Minaj brought out Kai Cenat as well as AMP member Fanum at her recent concert. The move came a few days after Minaj joined Cenat for a wild livestream on his channel. Minaj was loving the chaotic vibes and wealth of attention. At one point, Minaj sent chat wild by furiously twerking at the camera. Minaj is coming off the success of her new album, Pink Friday 2. The project, her first in five years, is expected to shoot to the top of the Billboard Album Chart this week.

Furthermore, the pair broke Cenat’s single-stream viewership record. According to Stream Charts, the stream peaked at 348,593 viewers. Cenat typically averages around 34K for a regular stream. His previous record was just over 306,000 viewers. Did you catch the stream? What did you think? Who do you want to see Cenat stream with next? Let us know in the comments below.

Nicki Minaj Trolls Kai Cenat About His Height

Elsewhere on the stream, Minaj got some playful jabs in. At one point, she told the popular content creator that he was shorter than she expected. Of course, in classic Kai fashion, Cenat over-reacted his heart out, pushing his chair away from Nicki and acting mortally offended. Nicki is 5″2 while Cenat is reportedly 5″9. In the past, Cenat’s stream antics have included wearing height boosters. Furthermore, his larger-than-life personality likely add a few metaphorical inches.

However, things got weird after Minaj left. One of the streamer’s friends took a moment to smell the chair that Minaj had been sitting on. While Cenat and his crew found it hilarious, most commenters online thought it was weird and childish. “N-ggas is weird, I swear they been doing this since middle school,” one person summarized on Instagram. Increasingly so, especially as his stock continues to rise, many people are beginning to tire with Cenat’s immature antics, especially when he is considered a role model by so many young people.

Kanye West Blasts Jay-Z, Drake & More In “Vultures” Party Rant: Watch

Well, given the rant that Kanye West went on at his listening party for his Vultures album with Ty Dolla $ign in Vegas last night (Thursday, December 14), maybe the album isn’t coming out after all. Moreover, he blasted a whole cavalcade of people and entities in a lengthy 10-minute rant, which ended with him remarking that everyone in the room with him in that moment was fake. Eventually, the Chicago rapper kicked YesJulz out, who was the one streaming this whole thing, after going off on Jay-Z, Drake, Adidas, and so many more for not supporting him for the past year. It seems like this moment is the culmination of his antisemitic reclusion that began a year ago.

Furthermore, Kanye called out “Jewish n***as” who call his rants “episodes.” “Y’all ain’t stop that Adidas s**t,” he said during one point of his rant. “Y’all n***as let Adidas crash the richest n***a of all time. I put up one tweet. Then, Ari Emanuel put, ‘Oh, we gotta drop this n***a,’ and all n***as just watched. The only n***a that had the Trump hat. The only n***a that went and got them billions, the only n***a that break through all kinds of ideas in fashion. I’ve been called a f***ot so many times for tight jeans. I got n***as from Chicago that I take care of that still try to sell me. Who you think the old man call? When we put Drake on stage, who you think the old man call? You know what I’m saying?

Kanye West’s Vultures Vegas Party Rant: Watch

“N***a just cause I had a car, n***a,” Kanye West continued. “F**k everybody, n***a. That’s what I’m trying to say to you n***as right f***ing now, n***a. Drake, this is what you been waiting for. Jay-Z, this is what you been waiting for. Adidas, this is what you been waiting for. Kim, this is what you been waiting for. n***as be hanging around these n***as for the money on some Mike Rubin s**t. I slap the s**t out of Mike Rubin I see that n***a, man. You know what I’m saying? Yo, f**k these n***as bro. I’m on my Farrakhan Don s**t right now bro. Because guess what? These Yeezy’s gonna sell. They sabotaged the show today, they sabotaged the Instagram. They cut off the f**king Adidas contract. Then they wanna go get light-skinned Ye. You get what I’m saying?

Meanwhile, this rant comes amid a new rollout for Yeezy’s next shoe, more excitement and disappointment around his Ty Dolla $ign collab album, and so much more. It seems like the 46-year-old is making his grand return to the mainstream for better or worse. We’ll see how he decides to wrap up 2023.
