Is The Weeknd’s ‘Trust Issues (Remix)’ On Streaming Services?

This is the time of year when most artists starting winding down, taking the final days of the year off before looking forward to January and beyond. The Weeknd fans got a dose of excitement yesterday (December 18), though, when a new song popped up on The Weeknd’s Spotify artist page.

Is The Weeknd’s “Trust Issues” on streaming services?

Yesterday, “Trust Issues” made it onto Spotify, as HotNewHipHop notes. It’s a track fans know well, as it originally surfaced online back in 2011. The song is The Weeknd’s take on Drake’s “Trust Issues,” but with modified lyrics, so it’s sort of a cover and sort of a remix (the original upload was titled “Trust Issues (Remix).”

As soon as the song hit Spotify, some fans knew something was amiss. One listener who checked out the song’s credits tweeted, “This will be gone very fast, it looks like someone did that and it’s not approved by himself or the Label. – Label is called weeknd – No writer and producer – It would be called Trust Issues (Remix) – It would be out on other platforms.”

Indeed, it turns out the upload was not legitimate: The Weeknd retweeted a tweet that reads, “‘Trust Issues’ is NOT an official release! The Weeknd’s Spotify account was hacked and the hacker released the song ‘Trust Issues’.”

The song is no longer available on Spotify, or any other streaming platform in an official capacity, as of this post.

Blueface Hit With Investigation Over Jaidyn Alexis Fan Incident

Blueface is someone who consistently finds himself at the center of attention. Overall, there are some artists who are constantly involved in drama or some sort of legal issue. Blue is definitely one of those artists. However, most of the drama he has been involved in has to do with Chrisean Rock, or his other baby mother, Jaidyn Alexis. Well, as it turns out, over the weekend, Blue and Jaidyn teamed up for a show, and it did not lead to a prosperous and relatively calm night. Instead, there was chaos on stage.

As we previously reported, the two were in Salt Lake City, Utah where Alexis was having a show. Blueface was up on stage and at one point, a fan can be seen throwing ice on the stage. That is when Blueface invites her up, only to be ambushed by Alexis. The woman was subsequently pushed down and even stomped on. Clips of the incident went viral, and it was unclear whether legal action would be pursued. Now, we apparently have our answer. According to Meghann Cuniff, police in Salt Lake City have launched an investigation.

Blueface Saga Never Ends

In the statement from the police, Blueface is referred to as an “out-of-state musician.” At this stage, it is unclear what the potential charges would be should that be the course of action. Furthermore, neither Blue nor Jaidyn Alexis have commented on the incident further. Considering the fact that this is now a legal matter, this makes a whole lot of sense. Whether or not anything happens to the two, remains to be seen. If one thing is for certain, they will have to avoid such situations at future concerts.

Be sure to let us know what you think of all of this, in the comments section below. Do you think Blueface and Jaidyn Alexis will be able to keep out of trouble? Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. Overall, we will always keep you informed on all of your favorite artists and their upcoming releases.

Metro Boomin Seemingly Hits Back At Drake Amid Alleged Beef

Metro Boomin and Drake have been at it as of late. Overall, the origins of this beef are sort of unknown. However, we do know that Drake was taken off of “Trance” which is s song that appears on Heroes & Villains. Furthermore, recently, Metro went off on the fact that Her Loss has been winning awards while Heroes & Villains is getting snubbed. He eventually deleted this post and it led to Drake issuing a response on his Instagram story. During a recent Kick stream, Drizzy actually responded in not-so-subtle fashion.

“To the rest of you — the non-believers, the underachievers, the tweet and deleters — you guys make me sick to my stomach, fam,” Drake started. “Look at my eyes — you guys wanna do something? That’s what I thought.” This was a pretty obvious attempt at going after Metro. At the end of the day, there is no one else he really could have been talking about. That said, it appears as though Metro has clapped back, albeit, in subliminal fashion.

Metro Boomin Tweets

The producer posted a sketch in which racist white frat boys are beefing with some black men. That is when one of the white people says, “Whoa Calm Down Jamal, Don’t Pull Out the 9.” It is meant to be a parody of white frat boys trying to speak a certain way, and it seems like Metro is putting that on Drake. Overall, the shot seems pretty clear, even if there are no names being said right now. Hopefully, these two are able to resolve their differences at some point. That may not come anytime soon, but there are fans out there who want these two on good terms.

With this beef in full swing, let us know what you think of it, in the comments section below. Should these two make nice or is it beyond that right now? Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. We will always be sure to keep you informed on your favorite artists and all of their upcoming releases.

When Do New Episodes Of Cam’ron & Mase’s Podcast Come Out?

Cam'Ron Mase Is Is What It Is 2022
It Is What It Is

Recording artists are no longer limiting themselves to music. Several entertainers like Dua Lipa have jumped head first into different parts of media. For rappers Cam’ron and Mase, their love for sports inspired them to launch their breakout podcast, It Is What It Is.

Since its inception, the show has been a steady fix of viral content. But when do new episodes of Cam’ron and Mase’s podcast come out? According to the official YouTube channel that hosts each episode, as well as the podcast’s Instagram page, It Is What It Is streams at 8 a.m. on Monday through Friday and on Sundays.

Based on Vibe’s reports, the podcast hosted by the duo alongside Treasure Wilson, inked an eight-figure deal with sports betting company Underdog Fantasy. The show has also landed Cam’ron and Mase on Complex Sports’ Top 25 Most Entertaining Sports Media Personalities list.

I argue when I am on the phone with my n****s, and by the time I look at the phone, it says two hours and seven minutes. I’ll be like, yo, I’m getting the f*ck off the phone with you… So you got people who debate all day about sports. So when I said, “I want to do this sh*t,” I was like, yo, “a professional setting with real n**** dialogue or barbershop talk or beauty salon.”

When Will The Coachella 2024 Lineup Come Out?

Coachella 2023

The 2024 music festival session is nearly here, and as 2023 winds to a halt, some are thinking about what they want to see in 2024. Atop many music fans’ most anticipated events is Coachella, if not for the lineup, the experience alone. Although the official lineup has not yet been confirmed, ticketholders hope that Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, or Olivia Rodrigo will serve as headliners across the two weekends. So when will the confirmed lineup for Coachella 2024 come out?

Following each year’s event, organizers tend to tease the next installment as early as June (or at least this was the case for Coachella 2023). As for when the subsequent year’s lineup is formally unveiled, it usually goes down in the second week of January.

Coachella 2023’s lineup was rolled out on January 10, 2023. Based on the disappointing and disastrous return of Frank Ocean, the organizers could hold off a few weeks to ensure the headliners for Coachella 2024 are up to par. For now, ticketholders have started counting the days until performers are announced.

Each year, Coachella is held on the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, California, during the second and third weekends of April.

Coachella 2024 will occur on April 12-14 and April 19-21, 2024. Find more information here.

“Trust Issues”: The Weeknd Confirms Song Release Was A Spotify Hack

Thanks to Drake helping put Toronto on the map, the city has since brought forth plenty of musical talent. Tory Lanez, Daniel Caesar, and Roy Woods immediately come to mind, as well as Abel Tesfaye – better known as The Weeknd. The Starboy singer has been putting in work at the studio for well over a decade now, and even recently revealed that he’s retiring from doing features unless his favourite group gets back together. His sound has always been progressive and experimental, and thanks to Scorpionic influences in his birth chart, Tesfaye is near constantly shedding old skins in favour of rebirthing new eras of himself.

Even with all the boundaries he’s helping to push, The Weeknd still loves the occasional cover. Before climbing the charts to reach the level of superstardom he’s at now, the Uncut Gems actor went viral for putting a unique spin on Drizzy’s “Trust Issues.” It’s been over 12 years since the track first surfaced online, and today (December 18), it finally appeared on Tesfaye’s Spotify profile. While fans were excited to see the beloved single available for listening, we now know it wasn’t the 33-year-old’s intention to release it.

The Weeknd Retweets Post About “Trust Issues” Drop Being Illegitimate

A tweet from @dawnfm103_5 was reposted by Abel this afternoon, noting that his streaming account was compromised. “‘Trust Issues’ is NOT an official release!” they wrote. “The Weeknd’s Spotify account was hacked and the hacker released the song ‘Trust Issues’‼” they reiterated. At the time of publication, the Drake cover is no longer on Spotify, though you can still find it elsewhere online.

Even without “Trust Issues” being available on DSPs, it was an impressive year for The Weeknd. His listeners helped to rack up over 12 billion streams on Spotify alone, with even more coming in thanks to others like Apple Music and YouTube. Who Is Headlining Coachella 2024?

The Empire Polo Club Grounds in Indio, California, has become one of the most popular locations for live music. This year alone, the inaugural rock festival Power Trip called it home. Next year, Stagecoach Festival will set up shop for its multi-day programming. But the most popular outdoor event held on the grounds is Coachella. With the extravagant two-weekend scheduled to take place in April, curious minds want to know who is headlining.

As of Monday, December 18, the headliners for both weekends, April 14 to 16 and 21 to 23, have not been announced. However, organizers are feeling the pressure based on this year’s atrocity of a set by Frank Ocean (who later dropped out of weekend two). Although Frank did not live up to the hype surrounding his festival return, fans are open to Justin Bieber filling the top slot.

Last year, Bieber postponed his Justice World Tour due to his battle with health complications brought on by Ramsay Hunt syndrome. Now, it appears that he could be up to the big feat. Some are also theorizing that given the success of Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour, it would make sense for her to headline next year’s Coachella. Another name that has been bandied about is Olivia Rodrigo.

It appears ticketholders will have to hold out for just a few more weeks until the confirmed lineup is revealed.

Drake On Crutches After Rolling His Ankle On Vacation

Drake has had a pretty eventful week while he’s supposed to be on vacation in Turks & Caicos. It got started when he found himself caught up in a bunch of dating rumors. They cropped up following a jet ski ride with a certain pop singer. That singer was Camila Cabello who has been subject to numerous spats of dating rumors this year. Even more recently than her crossing paths with Drake, she was in the studio with Playboi Carti. That sparked even more rumors about their potential involvement.

Drake also took to Instagram to show off what else he was up to while on vacation. In one photo dump, he dished out some pictures and videos of himself and some friends hitting the basketball and tennis courts. In a seemingly related twist, he showed up to a stream a few days later on crutches after claiming he rolled his ankle. During his most recent Kick stream, Drake revealed he was going to be sitting down the entire time with his recent injury. Check out the clip of Drizzy revealing his vacation hasn’t been as relaxing as you’d expect below.

Drake Rolled His Ankle While On Vacation

Drake recently made an appearance on Nicki Minaj’s new album Pink Friday 2. He and Nicki teamed up once again for the song “Needle” which just made its debut in the top 50 of the Hot 100. During an interview following the release of the album, Nicki revealed that the song was originally meant for Drizzy’s new album For All The Dogs from earlier this year.

Drake is taking this particular vacation after months of touring and dropping new music. Even after releasing his highly-anticipated new album For All The Dogs he wasn’t done yet. He shared an extended version of the album with a full EP of new material called Scary Hours 3. He’s also been touring alongside 21 Savage for the entire second half of the year on the It’s All A Blur Tour. The tour will pick back up next year with J. Cole for even more dates. What do you think of Drake rolling his ankle and needing crutches while on vacation in Turks & Caicos? Let us know in the comment section below.

JT Falls In Heels At City Girls Show, Yung Miami Saves The Day

Besides being the strongest lyricist of the two City Girls, JT is also the rap diva with a fashion education that she uses to keep herself looking fly. Her taste certainly isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but that hasn’t stopped the Florida native from moving confidently on and off stage. During a recent performance, the “No Bars” hitmaker wore sky-high heels that unfortunately made her fall to the floor while performing on stage. Thankfully, her partner in rhyme Yung Miami was beside her to hype her up and get their show back on track.

In the clip below, JT seems to lose her footing as “Take Yo Man” blares over the speakers. After the City Girl awkwardly stumbles backward and recovers, we see Caresha Brownlee crossing over to help make sure she’s okay before getting back to spitting into the microphone. “I love how Miami went to help her and hyped her back up. Real friend shiii! 👏🏾,” one Instagram user observed in @theneighborhoodtalk’s comments.

JT Might Tumble Sometimes, But She Always Gets Back Up

“The way I would’ve went backstage, gon head Caresha just finish it 🤣🤣😭😭😭😭,” someone else quipped, praising JT for not letting a small fall embarrass her. As we move into 2024, it’s unclear exactly what the “Act Up” artists are planning to share with their fans, though the 31-year-old has hinted at her desire to release more solo music as she continues to grow as an artist.

At this point in their careers, Yung Miami and JT are no strangers to criticism from hip-hop heads. Still, they never let the bad attitudes of others get them down – instead, they use it to fuel their fires and become even better at their craft.
