Kanye West Enlists North, Chicago And Yuno Miles For “Bomb” Music Video

Kanye West has redefined what expectations of a great artist can be. He’s created some of the most indelible hip hop albums of all time. And yet, due to the staggering lack of quality in his recent output, he’s increasingly being relegated to a curio. He flashes greatness on occasion, but other times, it can be hard to tell if he’s messing with his fans. This is the guy who put out “Lift Yourself,” after all. Kanye West continued to confound expectations on November 27. The rapper dropped a music video for the song “Bomb.” He enlisted Yuno Miles, as well as his own children, North and Chicago West.

“Bomb” is an absurd song. The instrumental is choppy and trap influenced, but in a predictably silly manner. Those familiar with Yuno Miles know the rapper likes to border on parody with his rhymes, and he does so here with bars about “fritos” and “tacos.” North and Chicago West take the assignment more seriously. They continue the trend of rappers having their children hop on records and deliver bars that are, frankly, not very good. It sounds like Kanye West is taking his kids to work on this one. North has shown a propensity for rapping in the past, as evidenced by her appearances on the VULTURES 1 track “Once Again.”

Kanye West Lets His Children Take Center Stage

The music video focuses on North and Chicago. Kanye West’s kids drive around the desert alongside Yuno Miles. They appear to be in a race of some sort, against an assortment of colorful creatures who drive other cars. It all feels very indebted to the pod racing scene from Star Wars: The Phantom Menace (1999). There’s something to be said for the charm and the gimmick of seeing children have fun with their dad on record. The problem is, Kanye West is nowhere on “Bomb.”

The controversial rapper doesn’t spit a verse on the song. Yuno, North and Chicago drop struggle bars, but Kanye West decides to stay on the production side of things. We can’t say it really pays off. The beat for “Bomb” is not particularly special. It feels cut from the same cloth as the VULTURES 1 and 2 sessions, which is not a ringing endorsement of quality. Kanye West is working on the upcoming album BULLY. Let’s hope he takes things a bit more seriously on that one.

Megan Thee Stallion & Flo Milli Team Up For Bloody “Roc Steady” Music Video

It goes without saying that it’s been a huge year for Megan Thee Stallion. The Houston hitmaker embarked on her massively successful “Hot Girl Summer” tour with GloRilla, dropped her new album Megan, and even followed it up with a deluxe edition. The deluxe edition, which she unveiled last month, features various brand-new tracks. It even includes a collaboration with fellow southern femcee Flo Milli.

The duo joined forces for the lively track “Roc Steady,” which was quick to become a fan favorite. Now, they’ve teamed up to drop a music video to accompany the song, pulling inspiration from the 2009 film Jennifer’s Body. So far, fans are loving the bloody video, and already demanding more music from the two rappers. Meg hasn’t been the only one keeping busy, however. Recently, Flo Milli confirmed that she’s expecting her first child following plenty of speculation. “Flo mommy sh*t,” she tweeted yesterday (November 26). “I can’t even see my coochie nomore that’s cr*zy.”

The new video also arrives amid Megan Thee Stallion’s legal battle with Milagro Gramz. Meg filed a lawsuit against the blogger late last month, accusing her of spreading falsehoods about the Tory Lanez shooting case. Earlier this week, Gramz filed a motion requesting to have the lawsuit dropped. “Plaintiff is suggesting here that merely liking, linking to, or talking about an online post regarding a public figure is a criminal offense,” her legal team alleges.

“Rather than rebut the allegations online, Plaintiff chose to use the Courts to intimidate and silence the Defendant from exercising her First Amendment rights to publish her opinions and beliefs and also to serve as a warning to other critics that if the Plaintiff does not like what you say about her, you will likely have to deal with a federal lawsuit,” Gramz’s legal team also alleges.

Kendrick Lamar Drops Off “Squabble Up” Music Video

Well, that was fast. Kendrick Lamar has swept the hip-hop world off its feet with his brand-new sixth album, GNX. The astounding release hit the digital airwaves on Friday afternoon, and it’s been all the craze and will continue to be for quite a while. The lyrical content is of course going to shoulder that load. However, Kendrick doing extra things like a “squabble up” music video will also help a great deal. The Compton icon just dropped off the visual for it moments ago, and you can watch it below.

This story is currently being updated.

Future, Metro Boomin & Rick Ross Show Off Their “Everyday Hustle” In New Music Video

Everyday Hustle” is one of the best cuts off of Future and Metro Boomin’s 2024 collab album, WE DON’T TRUST YOU. We don’t understand why it took this long to drop the music video, but the Rick Ross-assisted cut finally got a visual treatment… Well, sort of. Fewtch doesn’t rap in it: he just looks cool for the camera while a lot of footage of booty-shaking plays. Then, for his verse, Rozay stands in front of his private jet and flexes a lot of his material belongings, but it doesn’t seem like the most tight, concise, or unified vision. Maybe it was just some old footage they wanted to splice into a new vid on The Biggest Boss’ channel, which wouldn’t be the first time he made a feature a music video of its own.

Regardless, every single one of these artists is dealing with a lot of career and gossip stuff that probably has them busy right now. As such, the “Everyday Struggle” video came at an opportune time for them to enjoy this release and give fans a little something in the meantime. Beyond his Future and Metro Boomin feature, Rick Ross is still dealing with his “biggest opp,” as he raps on the song. He and Tia Kemp have not stopped throwing each other under the bus with scathing allegation after scathing allegation.

As for Metro Boomin, the Future collaborator recently responded to sexual assault allegations against him. “These are false accusations,” his lawyer Lawrence Hinkle III reportedly told Billboard. “Mr. Wayne refused to pay her months ago, and he refuses to pay her now. Mr. Wayne will defend himself in court. He will file a claim for malicious prosecution once he prevails.”

Meanwhile, Future recently hit the studio up with Lil Baby, Travis Scott, and none other than a recently released Young Thug. Fans wonder what this link-up resulted in, and whether or not we’ll hear new Thugger music this year or early in the next. It’s an everyday hustle for all these hip-hop artists, even if music videos don’t always turn out like some fans expected.

GloRilla Finally Reveals Her Rumored Pregnancy… For A T-Pain-Assisted “I LUV HER” Music Video

GloRilla recently released her new album GLORIOUS and engaged with a fresh new social media narrative because of it: is she pregnant? She spoke on the topic through various songs from the project, and also debuted some baby bump pictures with actor Da’Vinchi that sent fans plenty of conflicting signals. Still, a lot of fans knew what was coming: a music video was bound to show up any day now to explain why the Memphis femcee leaned into this so hard. Sure enough, we just got the new “I LUV HER” visuals with T-Pain, which shows Glo and Vinchi in a wholesome relationships that ends in marriage and a pregnancy. She may have fooled some fans, but others saw it coming from a mile away.

Regardless of whether you believed these rumors or not, the music video for “I LUV HER” is still very well-made and adorable, and a neat little narrative twist also leaves you pretty satisfied by the end. Elsewhere, GloRilla is still debating her physical transformations online, but in ways that don’t relate to a fake baby bump. Instead, it’s about fans wondering whether or not she got a BBL, rumors that she clapped back at with hilarious force.

Still, other GloRilla statements – particularly about relationship topics – have some fans thinking that the narrative in the “I LUV HER” music video might become reality soon if she gets her way. “Single & celibate until God send me my husband,” she expressed on Twitter recently, which started a debate around what that word really means. Regardless, it does suggest that the 25-year-old would rather hunker down on a relationship right now than mess around. Maybe she’s just trying to manifest with this new visual treatment.

In other GloRilla news, she recently got a few Grammy nominations for the 2025 awards show, which she expressed a lot of gratitude for. If she keeps her run up with more drops and music videos like these, then we can expect many more nods to come in the future. At least fans can put these pregnancy rumors to rest and be more aware of the signs once the next artist pulls a stunt like this.

Gunna Appears To Tease Another Single In Visual For “Him All Along”

Overall, 2024 has been another solid year for Atlanta rapper and crooner, Gunna. Since his involvement in the YSL RICO trial, he’s been doing well to maintain a loyal fanbase amid the relentless “rat” and “snitch” labels. Of course, there’s always going to be some that will hold a grudge, but his streams and standing within the game are still very high. He’s still pulling in well over hundreds of millions of plays on songs, with 37.3 million monthly listeners rallying around him. One of Wun is his latest LP this time around, and once again there remain to be a nice collection of hits. Tracks like “prada dem,” “on one tonight,” and the title cut are arguably the main ones to list. However, Gunna has not been clear of obstacles entirely.

Right now, it seems like Young Thug is turning on his YSL brethren. That’s despite making sure he was one of the few from his crew he could work alongside and remain in communication with. A tweet and delete let us know how Thugger is supposedly really feeling. Wunna still hasn’t broke his silence on their relationship, so we are hoping these two are working things out. However, that could possibly not be the case, as a lot of the themes on One of Wun preached self-growth. Gunna preached more of the same on “HIM ALL ALONG,” his most recent release. “They was tryna stunt my growth, I been steady chasin’ my goals / N****, why you watchin’? I’m grown, n**** can’t take my throne,” he spits melodically on the chorus.

That confidence-boosting single now has a music video to go along with it and it’s a nice fit. Him and producer of the record Turbo are enjoying the finer things in life thanks in part to their hard work. Despite the opulent visuals, Gunna’s also possibly prepping fans for more. After the song concludes, a teaser of a moodier snippet plays as he hops on a private jet. Billboard and fans agree with our speculation and hopefully, it drops soon.

Lil Nas X Kicks Off New Era With “DREAMBOY” Video Teaser

Lil Nas X is at a bit of a musical crossroads. The rapper has several chart-topping hits under his belt, but it’s been a bit since he made headlines for music and not controversies. Lil Nas X’s talent is not a topic of debate, but his ability to refocus the narrative on his talent and not his image is proving more crucial than ever. Enter “DREAMBOY.” The rapper dropped the video teaser for his new era, and it features a comical set up and a split personality motif that we’ve seen various artists attempt before.

The teaser runs a little under two minutes. The rapper can be seen floating on wreckage in the middle of the ocean until he gets visited by a futuristic version of himself. The futuristic version sports white and pink gear and a helmet reminiscent of a Power Ranger. “I’m a higher version of you,” this version states. “And I’m gonna help you save yourself. It’s time to remember who are you. Who you really are.” Futuristic Lil Nas X then shows regular Nas X a series of videos seemingly tied to his past. A portal then opens up in the middle of the ocean and the regular version of the rapper jumps through it.

Lil Nas X Hasn’t Dropped An Album Since 2021

Before he does, he takes note of the song playing in the background. “Wait,” he says. “I know this song.” The song in question is implied to be the titular “DREAMBOY.” The screen then cuts to black, and the text “Phase 1 Ep. 1 – Let There Be Light” appears. Lil Nas X provided more context via Instagram, writing that DREAMBOY “vanished” when the world needed him most. He has always brought conceptual heft to everything he’s done, but this new era looks to be his most ambitious yet.

It will also mark the first wave of new music from Lil Nas X in years. The rapper teased the release of his mixtape Nasarati 2 throughout 2024, but the full tape has yet to see the light of day. Instead, various cuts from Nasarati 2 have been uploaded exclusively to SoundCloud. In terms of studio releases, he has not released new material since Montero in 2021. A lot has changed since then. We’re excited to see what the rapper has in store.

Future Brings Tally To Five With Music Video For “Brazzier”

It’s hard to deny just how impactful and important Future is to the modern-day hip-hop scene. He’s without a doubt one of the most influential of his time, as one of the most prolific. The grind never stops for the Atlanta native who continues to churn out record after record. He’s dropped multiple projects for most of his career, and a lot of them still manage to top the charts. 2024 is no exception, as Pluto worked alongside his partner in crime Metro Boomin for WE DON’T TRUST YOU and WE STILL DON’T TRUST YOU. Both debuted at number one on the Hot 200 despite just being a few weeks apart. However, he managed to pull off a hat trick with MIXTAPE PLUTO. The September solo release sold 129,000 units and because of that, he became the first rapper to have three number ones in a six-month span.

Despite there being some reservations about it, Future’s hardcore fans loved it, and they certainly showed out for him. To repay them, he’s been dropping off some bonus content over the last couple of months. One of which was the highly desired “SOUTH OF FRANCE” remix with Travis Scott. The collab was thought to be a lock for the tracklist, but Future decided to go against features for the initial release. He’s also been dropping off some visuals for the tape, with the number now up to five. That fifth video from Future is for “BRAZZIER,” one of the “deeper” cuts. It’s nothing too special visually speaking as he’s seen flexing with his homeboys during the nighttime. Check it out below.

Drake Takes Over An Empty Mall In His Unexpected New ‘No Face’ Video

In recent days, Drake has been putting the finishing touches on his forthcoming joint album with PartyNextDoor that’s due out soon. Amid that, he has also found some time to shoot a new music video, for his August track “No Face.”

The visual, which is currently only available on Instagram, sees Drake and some associates taking over an empty mall and doing what most people would in that scenario: drive around in ATVs and SUVs.

Playboi Carti featured on the initial version of the song, but his contributions have since been removed from the track.

When the song initially dropped, it was believed to be a Kendrick Lamar diss, as Drake raps (via Genius), “I don’t get sleepy off no melatonin / My therapist put in a 30-day notice / ‘Cause I keep on talkin’ ’bout beefin’ and business and money and women, there’s no diagnosis / They emptied the clip (Pfft) quick / Swapped that sh*t out and I came back reloaded / I’m just so happy that n****s who envied and held that sh*t in got to finally show it / I’m over the moon, yeah, we’ll see you boys soon / I’m spreadin’ my wings, I hop out, cocoon.”

Check out the video here.

Drake Promotes OVO Clothing Line With Moody “No Face” Music Video

Drake seemed like he was gearing up for something big with 100 Gigs. He dropped a handful of new songs, but then the rollout seemed to stop. The rapper did a few features, and announced an album with PARTYNEXTDOOR, but he’s been quiet on the solo front. Until now, Drake has returned with a new music video for the 100 Gigs standout “No Face.” The video serves a dual purpose, though. It does not cover all of Drake’s verses in the song, but it gives fans a taste while promoting the rapper’s OVO clothing line.

“No Face” is not a long song. It comes it at 2:17, but the music video is even shorter. The video comes in at 1:12, before fading out mid-song. It’s a tactic Drake employed on the teaser/promo video for his smash 21 Savage collab “Jimmy Cooks” in 2022. The new video sees Drake rolling around a shopping mall with his OVO squad. He’s rocking all black with skeleton gloves, similar to the OVO clothing brand photoshoot he did a few weeks back. The continuity between the photoshoot and the video would lead us to believe they were knocked out at the same time, actually.

Drake Gets In Tough Guy Mode For New Video

The music video is a reminder that “No Face” is one of the best Drake songs of 2024. He throws subs at everybody who tried to test him during the Kendrick Lamar battle. “I’m expressionless. N**gas be talkin’ ’bout don’t shoot the messenger,” he raps. “Fah-fah-fah, you get shot for way less in here. None of you pussies is blockin’ my blessings here, what?” The black-and-white aesthetic has always worked for the Toronto rapper, whether it be the moody “Take Care” video or the menacing “Nonstop” video. It proves to be just as effective this time around.

To nobody’s surprise, there is no Playboi Carti present in the “No Face” video. The rapper was on the original version of the song, but was subsequently removed. An explanation was never given, but Carti has a history of refusing to clear his vocals for other artists. To be fair to Drake and the music video, it doesn’t even stick around long to get to Carti’s verse if the latter did approve its use. “No Face” still slaps, and proves that the 6 God knows how to make a catchy song in 2024. Let’s hope this leads to something more substantial.
