$NOT Is A Looming Presence On “BULLY”

Alternative Florida rapper $NOT has built out quite the career for himself ever since bursting onto the scene in 2018. He has gone on to work with some of the industries elite names such as A$AP Rocky, Joey Bada$$, Juicy J, Trippie Redd, Kevin Abstract and more. What all of those artists have in common is that they all appeared on $NOT’s last record Ethereal, which saw a release in 2022. Now, over two years later and $NOT is getting ready to drop a new album soon and he is giving a sneak peek as to what the direction will be on “BULLY.”

There are a few candidates for other promotional tracks, including “0%” with ZillaKami, “CRUEL WORLD,” and “SIMPLE.” But we do know that “BULLY” is one of them, so let’s dive into it. On this brief 1:57 track, $NOT is all business and that is clear right from some of the opening lines.

I don’t give a f*** about you, n****, die (Shh) / Show no fear, lil’ n****, I don’t cry (Don’t cry) / Weak a** boy, they gon’ die every time (F*** you, n****).” On top of the bars, his delivery is also very intimidating. The cavernous, monotone, and blunt tone really reinforce what he is laying down. Furthermore, the beat is rumbling with the booming 808s and dense kick drums. It is clear $NOT is coming back with a vengeance.

Dominic Fike Gifts His Fans Songs From Recent YT Video In Form Of “14 Minutes” Project

Dominic Fike, singer, songwriter, rapper, and overall multi-hyphenate from Naples, Florida has a new album/soundtrack out called 14 minutes. This is the quick follow-up to his 2023 record Sunburn, which had a feature from rock band Weezer. It is the 28-year-old’s fourth offering overall and it just as long as the title says, 14 minutes. The other reason it is referred to as this is because it was named after a YouTube music video of the same affiliation. According to Uproxx, it sees the genre chameleon take a walk through a foggy and cloudy day on the side of a highway in Forks, Washington.

Fans were dying to get their hands on the tracks that Dominic is listening to on his stroll in an album format. Now, that time has come, and it was inevitable after Fike had a vinyl available for pre-order on his website. The video was originally teased at a random warehouse in West Hollywood on April 23, which was projected onto an 18-wheeler. During the presentation, Fike shared why he wanted to get these songs out as soon as possible.

DaBaby And Skilla Baby Join Forces For Colorful “Judy” Music Video

DaBaby has one of the steepest falloffs of all time. The rapper was everywhere, then nowhere thanks to some polarizing comments and a general refusal to apologize. He’s attempting a comeback with the EP Ghetto Superstar: The Intro, and the lead single, “Judy,” has already generated a lot of buzz. The single spawned the #JudyChallenge on Instagram and TikTok, and now DaBaby has dropped the official video alongside Skilla Baby. The video delivers on the virality of the song itself, with lots of dancing and goofy expressions from the emcees.

“Judy” is a transparent swing for the fences with regards to landing a summer anthem. The thing is, the music video kind of sells it. The instrumental and the old school sample are infectious, and the visuals match up perfectly. You already know there’s going to be lots of twerking in a song about girls named Judy with big booties. If you didn’t, the chorus gives it away: “If that a*s soft, it ain’t gotta be big (x3).” The music video throws it back to the 90s, with bright clothes and a Miami bass sound that still sounds fresh. DaBaby is the official director on the video, and it’s obvious he was going for a specific, retro feel. It works.

DaBaby And Skilla Baby Go Full Miami Bass

DaBaby brings plenty of charisma in front of the camera, spitting his rapid fire verse amidst a sea of dancers. The rapper’s lighthearted interactions make it easier to overlook the fact that he’s rapping about taking out his ops. “I can’t even imagine a n**ga runnin’ down on me,” he raps with an upbeat delivery. “I get to openin’ up fire, n**ga better not get hit, b*tch.” The guest verse from Skill Baby is a much better match for the instrumental, but “Judy” didn’t go viral because of the bars. It wen viral because it’s a catchy and colorful.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new music video for “Judy” by DaBaby and Skilla Baby? Is the DaBaby comeback in full effect? Do you want to hear a full-length project from DaBaby again? The Chainsmokers Team Up With Fridayy For EDM/R&B Crossover “Friday”

The Chainsmokers are one of the most recognized musical artists in the world. Their pop appeal has garnered them tons of radio play and smash singles. Because of that they have been able to work with some of the industries brightest stars like Halsey, Coldplay, Florida Georgia Line, Jhene Aiko, and so many others. Now, they are gearing up for a new album once more. To tease it, The Chainsmokers are working with R&B/soul singer Fridayy for the first time on a new single called “Friday.”

The coincidentally titled track is rumored to be the second promotional song for their sixth project, and first since 2022’s Summertime Friends. However, this will not be an album, rather an EP, and is expected to see a May 10 release, according to Genius. The previous song that is looking to make its way onto the tracklist is “Addicted” featuring Zerb and Ink. On “Friday,” The Chainsmokers produce a mixture of R&B and EDM, something that is not totally new to them.

Listen To “Friday” By The Chainsmokers & Fridayy

The beat gallops throughout and it has all the elements of a track that would be great for a late-night drive with the roof down. Fridayy gives a soulful performance, as he sings about a relationship with a woman that feels as if they are moving through life together without a care in the world. He is essentially comparing it to the weekend, and how those days are the week where you do anything and everything you want, that you cannot doing during the weekdays. Its your typical Chainsmokers fair, but with some great singing to go along with it.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single “Friday” by The Chainsmokers and Fridayy? Is this one of their better songs as of late, why or why not? Should they collborate again in the future after hearing this? Does this get you excited for their upcoming album No Hard Feelings? Erica Banks And “I Ain’t Fresh” Internet Meme Sensation Link Up For Rowdy Track & Music Video

Erica Banks has been putting on a clinic over the last few months, especially on YouTube. The DeSoto, Texas rapper and performer has been releasing raunchy and wild singles with accompanying twerk-filled music videos. Most of them have been renditions of previous hit rap songs from the likes of Gucci Mane and Nicki Minaj. While there might be a lot of viewers due to the content of the visuals, Erica has sneakily proven that she has a style that is separating herself from the crowded pack of femcees. Over the weekend, Erica Banks dropped off another track on the platform called “I Ain’t Fresh” and it is going quite viral.

One of the main reasons why is because of the song’s title and music video. If you love keeping up with internet culture and memes, you will recognize a man wearing a striped baby blue Ralph Lauren polo shirt, blue jeans, and baby blue New Balance 574s. Your eyes are not deceiving you either, that is indeed the “I Ain’t Fresh” man from the viral video that swept across all of social media. The original video was recorded by a couple of women outside of a Texas Whataburger. They ruthlessly roasted his fit, but now he is a star in the making.

His name is Derrick Lambert, and he calls Arkansas home. Erica is definitely smart for this move because the video and song is still trending on YouTube. At the time of writing, it sits at number 42 with over 91,000 views. Throughout the hilarious video, Erica is twerking all over Derrick and it looks he is having an absolute ball. As for the song itself, she is rapping with tons of charisma, toxicity, and with a contagious nonchalance. The beat also seems to vaguely sample Soulja Boy’s “Pretty Boy Swag” by speeding up the instrumental. Check out “I Ain’t Fresh” with the link above.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single “I Ain’t Fresh” by Erica Banks? Is this one of her better songs as of late, why or why not? Do you think he should drop this song on streaming services, why or why not? Was it a genius move to bring on the “I Ain’t Fresh” meme star? G-Eazy “Remeets” His Fans On Obscurely Released Single “The Road Back”

G-Eazy has been ramping up the production in 2024 with a couple of loosies on YouTube, as well as singles on streaming. The California artist has not always been viewed in a positive light for his “corny” raps. Listeners were especially calling him out just about two and a half weeks ago for his recent offering “Femme Fatale.” The nearly NSFW track featuring Coi Leray and Kaliii was highly criticized for feeling outdated and the performances being underwhelming. But G-Eazy might be winning some of those haters back with a newly released single “The Road Back.”

If the title suggests anything it is that Eazy is looking to get back into his bag and deliver some heat. That is exactly what “The Road Back” is, as Young Gerald is essentially reintroducing himself to the audience. He gets pretty lyrical on this record, and it goes over well, as he raps with a lot of charisma and hunger. However, this track is not easy to track down unfortunately.

It is not available on streaming, or even Soundcloud. Instead, it is on YouTube. But even when you go onto G-Eazy’s page, it is nowhere to be found. In this instance, you need to head over to Reddit and the link will be available there. Fans have been showing the track a lot of love, saying, “Young Gerald is back baby!” Another adds, “I’m here rooting for his comeback!!”

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single “The Road Back” by G-Eazy? Is this one of his better songs as of late, why or why not? Ice Spice And Cash Cobain Take Over A Chinese Restaurant In The Music Video For “Fisherrr”

Ice Spice is still a relatively new artist but she’s developing a knack for good visuals quickly. She’s already dazzled fans with the music videos for songs like “Barbie World” and “Deli” and she doesn’t seem to be slowing down any time soon in her new era. That includes the new remix she did with Cash Cobain of his viral TikTok hit “Fisherrr.” Despite her remix leaking earlier this week it was officially released overnight and fans gravitated to it quickly. Earlier today the song got an official music video and it’s getting similar treatment from fans.

In the visuals for the song, Spice and Cobain are hanging out in an NYC Chinese restaurant. The visuals include the pair rapping from a busy kitchen, ordering takeout, and even some hilarious food shots in line with Spice’s lyrics. Those shots are intercut with the pair rapping in other places like the backseat of a car or in the street with a vintage film look. The video has well over 20k views after just an hour with many more likely to follow. Check out the brand new visuals below.

Ice Spice’s New “Fisherrr” Remix Video

While the new single is clicking with a lot of fans, it hasn’t been without some backlash. Much of that has spawned from the allegedly AI-generated album cover, which a fan pointed out online. AI is a hot-button issue among musicians right now who are worried about having their voices stolen and reproduced without their consent by artificial learning. Consequently, that’s probably why Spice quickly apologized for the move in a quote tweet. She also seemingly tried to save face by claiming that she didn’t actually know it was AI-generated until it was pointed out by fans.

What do you think of the new visuals Ice Spice and Cash Cobain shared for their “Fisherrr” remix? Do you have a problem with the pair using an AI-generated image for the song’s artwork? Let us know in the comment section below.

Coi Leray Is Done Playing Games On “Can’t Come Back”

Coi Leray gets a lot of hate overall in the music industry. Many feel she does not deserve to be a star, or they feel she just lacks talent. However, she has still become a popular figure in hip-hop and R&B regardless. “Baby Don’t Hurt Me,” “Players,” and “Self Love,” have all become massive tracks for Coi Leray and “Can’t Come Back” can hopefully be another one for her.

The Boston, Massachusetts rapper and singer hinted at this song dropping yesterday with sudsy thirst trap on Instagram. “No filter. New music @ midnight 🎵,” she wrote to her followers. “Can’t Come Back” sees Coi take on a more subdued delivery as she sings with resentment. That hatred stems from past love interests wasting her time.

Only wanna call on the late night (What else?) / Don’t match my vibe (Yeah) / Can’t really tell if you’re mine (Come on) / Hate it when you switch sides (Woo).” The beat is extremely wavy and lowkey and Leray tries a unique cadence on the chorus, almost adopting a whispery delivery. Maybe this new style will be put her name change in motion? Regardless, be sure to check out the new track and watch out for the music video debuting at 1:00 p.m.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single “Can’t Come Back” by Coi Leray? Is this one of her better songs as of late, why or why not? Ice Spice Shoots Video For Cash Cobain’s “Fisherr” Remix In New York City

It looks like an alleged leak of the “Fisherr” remix from Cash Cobain featuring Ice Spice did not deter these collaborators from giving it to fans very soon. Moreover, it looks like they were spotted in New York City filming a music video for the team-up, as you can see Spice and hear the song in the background on the Instagram clip below. We say “they” because it’s likely that an extended hand that pops up from the video’s angle is Cash’s , although the snippet doesn’t show the rest of the person’s body or face. Regardless, it sounds like these two might have another viral hit on their hands in their rising careers as some of New York’s most relevant new exponents right now.

Furthermore, it follows a really prolific stretch for both of them, with Cash Cobain getting a big Drake co-sign over the past few years and dropping his best and most far-reaching material yet. As for Ice Spice, she’s been one of the biggest names in music for the past year or so, and it’s not hard to see why. An engaged and consistent social media presence, plenty of viral moments, and most importantly, the strength of the hits have really paved a fruitful path. They both still have a long way to go, but that boundless future is part of what makes them exciting acts right now.

Like, I didn’t expect to win any, so I didn’t leave disappointed. I had more fun after the Grammys, actually *laughs*. At the after-party.”

Sexyy Red’s skyrocket to stardom has been impressive, to say the least. After “Pound Town” blew up, she went on to release her mixtape Hood Hottest Princess, which featured a remix of the viral hit featuring none other than Nicki Minaj. She’s since taken part in countless high-profile collabs with the likes of Drake, SZA, Latto, and more. It’s already become a fan-favorite, with some listeners arguing that it’s worlds better than the original.

Needless to say, Sexyy’s come a long way since her cheating boyfriend diss track days in St. Louis, but that doesn’t mean she can’t look back on them with fondness. Earlier today, she responded to a loyal fan looking back on one of her first-ever music videos.
