Shaq Responds To Shannon Sharp With Explosive Diss Track

The Shaq and Shannon Sharpe beef is hitting another level. It all started over Shaq’s awkward interview with Nikola Jokic. He told Jokic he believed Shai Gilgeous-Alexander deserved to be named NBA MVP instead of the Denver Big. Jokic didn’t think too much about the comment, but it was a very awkward and unnecessary moment. Shannon Sharp responded to Shaq’s comments on his Nightcap podcast, insinuating that he is jealous of the now-three-time MVP Jokic. Sharp said Shaq’s lack of drive and discipline is what is keeping him out of the GOAT conversation. Sharpe said on his podcast that the big man underachived. He said, “Shaq should have five MVPs.” Shaq did not take kindly to the slights.

Shaq responded with a lengthy Instagram comment where he fired serious shots at Shannon Sharp. he refuted his defense of SGA as him being jealous of Joker. He then went on to disparage Shannon Sharpe’s accomplishments, saying he isn’t even top-10 in his position as an NFL tight end. Now, the TNT analyst has upped the ante. He has released a diss track aimed right at Shannon Sharpe, and social media cannot believe it.

Shaq has joined the rap beef trend. His diss against Shannon Sharpe is short but effective, as the big man delivers some hefty blows to his foe. Shaq has always been a talented rapper, so it’s no surprise that, with everything going on in the world of rap, he felt inclined to make a diss record. It starts off with a former NBA player gassing up the Big Diesel to Shannon and Ochocinco. He raps that Shannon Sharpe is way beneath the NBA Hall of Famer. The song cuts off in the middle of his explosive verse, so hopefully, there is a part two on the way.

Shannon Sharpe will certainly respond at any minute. Don’t expect the NFL Hall of Famer to hop in the booth, though. This sports personality beef all started due to an awkward situation Shaq created. He had to have known his comments to Nikola Jokic would cause some controversy. Overall, the diss track has made this ordeal that much more fun.

Ice Cube, a rap legend who successfully ventured into acting, faced a unique challenge while filming Boys N The Hood-connecting with his emotions. In a surprising twist, he sought guidance from his co-star, Cuba Gooding Jr., who was known for his emotional performances. During a recent episode of Patrick Bet-David’s PBD Podcast, Gooding Jr. shared an anecdote from the set of Boyz N The Hood, where Cube openly admitted his struggle to shed tears for a scene.

Boys N The Hood was an extremely influential film. It was directed by John Singelton and starred Ice Cube, Cuba Gooding Jr., Morris Chestnut, and Nia Long, among others. Cube was at the heights of his rap career and transitioned to acting seamlessly in his role as Doughboy. Ice Cube apparently sought help from his co-stars to learn how to act. When it was time for Cube to get emotional and tear up on screen, he turned to Cuba Gooding Jr.

“He knocked on my trailer. He sat in there and said, ‘I can’t do this crying shit. I’m not built like that,’” said Cuba Gooding Jr., who played Ice Cube’s childhood friend. “I said, ‘What do you mean?’ Now I’m his acting coach. I got Ice Cube asking me for help ’cause he’s gotta cry in this scene where I say to him, ‘You only got one brother left.’ He continued saying, “I said, ‘Cube, the only advice I can give you is, if you’re trying to cry, you’re gonna look stupid. Just say whatever you feel when you think about the homies you lost.’ He looked at me and walked out.”

Cuba also shared a tidbit about shooting the actual scene with Ice Cube. He said, “We did the scene and you seen him. I don’t remember any tears, but I’m not supposed to cry during that scene and I’m trying to hold it back.” Gooding Jr. concluded, “It was magic for these two kids who connected because now he wasn’t scared. It doesn’t matter if he cries ’cause he’s not supposed to cry. The grief is in his face.” Overall, Cuba and Ice Cube shared one of the most memorable scenes ever together.

Toosi Explains Himself After Revealing Shaq DMed His Girl

Shaquille O’Neal caused a stir on social media when he flaunted his considerably younger girlfriend. Rapper Toosii harbors some animosity for the NBA star. Recent photos of Shaq and his 21-year-old girlfriend enjoying a ton of fun in Spain may have set Toosii off and reminded him of a run-in with the NBA Hall of Famer. He accused Shaq of making advances against his girlfriend Samaria Davis around eighteen months prior, sending her a direct message asking, “Can I have that baby?” he has now clarified the situation.

Toosii had already uploaded evidence of the interaction, which he obviously thought was inappropriate and disrespectful to him. A few months after Toosii and Samaria’s baby Ezrah was born, in November 2022, the DM was sent. He did not feel Shaq’s response to a photo of the mother and child. Now he is backtracking, saying he misunderstood the DM and took it out of context. He is still confused by the situation, judging from his response.

Now Toosi says he posted the DM because he thought Shaq was talking about his child. He implied it was Shaq trying to holler at his girl but now says that was never the case. He clarified that he posted it because he thought it was weird that Shahq mentioned his child. Toosi sasy men are going to DM your girl, so he isn’t tripping over Shaq trying to get with her. He then weirdly says he doesn’t want Shaq to get with her because he is a giant man, and his girl is very tiny. He may have got some pushback and tried to save face. His entire clarification is pretty confusing, as he clearly thought Shaq was after his woman.

Shaq’s previous relationships have been on the news this week. His ex-girlfriend, Moneice Slaughter, detailed the big man’s cheating habits, revealing he cheated on her with Rocsi Diaz and Hoopz. His ex-wife Shaunie Henderson revealed in her book that she doesn’t know if she truly loved her ex-husband, who also allegedly cheated on her multiple times. Overall, Shaq is a ladies’ man, and it wouldn’t be surprising if his DM to Toosi’s girl was him breaking the ice.

Tennis star Naomi Osaka has just declared that she thinks Kendrick has won the beef and really wants the rapper to put out another song like “Not Like Us.” Naomi really enjoys the song, and though she is a peaceful person, she can’t deny how good it is. The tennis superstar is the latest to pick a winner in what has been weeks of back-and-forths between Drake and Kendrick.

When speaking about the beef, Osaka made sure to clarify that she is a “pacifist” and “neutral party” in the beef. She then ultimately sided with Kendrick. Osaka went on to describe her love for Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” which she has been enjoying on repeat and using for her walk-out music. All in all, Naomi is having fun with what has come out of the feud, and she thinks Kendrick’s song is the clear winner and highlight of the whole ordeal.

Subsequently, Osaka brought up a similar topic that was discussed in “The Heart Part 6,” when Drake discussed the conflict and said he’s “happy I could motivate you” since Kendrick’s fans are actually “getting raps” out of the MC. All signs point to Drake having lost the battle. People are declaring Kendrick the winner, saying Drake’s last diss didn’t go over that well. Overall, Naomi Osaka is happy to have gotten such an entertaining track from Kendrick Lamar. Maybe the beef was worth it just for that.

Ja Rule Accused Of Cursing The New York Knicks

The New York Knicks’ prospects of winning their first NBA Championship since 1973 have been allegedly cursed by Ja Rule. The Knicks just went up 2-0 on the Indiana Pacers in the second round of the NBA playoffs on Wednesday night. Despite the win, some fans are worried that Ja Rule has apparently cursed their title chances. This is a major development for Knicks fans, who have their best team in a long time with a legit chance to make the Eastern Conference finals and maybe even the NBA finals.

The coveted Larry O’Brien trophy was lifted and kissed by Ja before the game, and he was heard saying, “Champions only, baby. Go Knicks!” this is very concerning for Knicks fans. Fans immediately felt like Ja Rule had cursed the Knicks’ championship chances. They might be right because multiple instances in the game have resulted in a dubious rest of the series for New York despite being up 2-0 on the Indiana Pacers.

The video caused shock among viewers, with one saying, “Smh n**ga done cursed us wtf!” The innocent video of Ja Rule with the NBA championship trophy has caused Knicks fans to think the absolute worst. Another fan said, “This n**ga holds the chip and brunson and anoby [sic] get injured someone call fif to get the strap.” Another Knicks fan wrote: “knicks players started dropping like flies. i hate this n**ga.” Knicks superstar Jalen Brunson was injured during the game and didn’t play the entire second quarter. Although he was able to return to the game in the third quarter, he was not 100%. Additionally, OG Anunoby suffered what looked like a bad hamstring injury towards the end of the game.

Despite the win, the Knicks came out of the game very injured. The curse from Ja Rule might have been legit, unfortunately. Ja is no stranger to cursing NBA franchises. In 2019, following a poor halftime show that was heavily ridiculed by fans. He declared he was putting a curse on the Sacramento Kings and the Minnesota Timberwolves. The only remedy may be getting Ja’s longtime enemy, 50 Cent, to do something to lift the Knicks curse. All in all, the Knicks may have just been unlucky. It is not a good look if you are Ja Rule.

In his song “Not Like Us,” Kendrick Lamar alluded to the iconic finisher from WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels, “Sweet Chin Music.” Now, Shawn Michaels is offering the two beefing rappers a chance to settle things in the ring. Shawn Michaels suggests Kendrick Lamar and Drake settle their beef in NXT. Michaels invited Drake and Kendrick to this week’s WWE NXT show via social media, even offering to mediate their ongoing dispute.

Shawn Michaels is a WWE Hall of Famer and one of the best to ever step in the ring. He is currently the head of NXT, the WWE’s developmental promotion, where they train and build up the next generation of WWE superstars. Hearing that one of the parties mentioned his signature finisher in an ongoing mega rap beef, Shawn Michaels thought about the business first. He extended his offer hilariously on Twitter.

Shawn Michaels wrote, “A little Sweet Chin Music goes a long way,” he then invited Kendrick Lamar and Drake to NXT’s next show to settle their beef. Michales even said he would mediate when they hash things out. Kendrick rapped about Michaels’s finishing move on “Not Like Us.” Kendrick rapped, “Put the whole label on me, I’m a get ’em dropped, Sweet Chin Music, and I won’t pass the aux.” Although it seems improbable that Drake and Kendrick would accept Michaels’ offer, a WWE match would be an incredible and hilarious thing to see.

Shawn Michael’s is no stranger to beefing with Canadians. One of professional wrestling’s most famous rivalries and personal beefs was between Michaels and Canada’s own Brett “The Hitman” Hart. The apex of their feud occurred when Micahels lost his championship during the infamous Montreal Screwjob. Overall, Shawn Michaels knows how far beef can go, and it’s never pretty. Maybe his offer to settle it in the ring will be cleaner than continuing to drop diss tracks.

Last night, at Tom Brady’s Netflix roast, Tom made some jokes about Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband, Kanye West. Netflix’s latest entry into its comedy series The Greatest Roast of All Time, the NFL icon became the latest figure to be roasted. Kim Kardashian was a presenter at the roast, and after she was booed by the crowd, she delivered her three-minute set. She addressed the rumors that she and Tom Brady had dated in one of her jokes. Tom Brady ended the night giving back roasts to everyone who had jokes for him, including Miss Kardashian. Brady made a joke at the expense of Kim K that involved her ex-husband, Kanye West.

When it came to Brady’s turn to grab the mic and hand out some roasts himself, he joked about Kanye’s parenting skills. Brady hit back at Kim K, saying: “Thank you so much for being here. I know Kim was terrified to be here tonight. Not because of this, but because her kids are home with their dad.” The audience gave a boisterous reaction to the joke. All Kim could do was just shake her head and laugh.

Tom Brady Takes Jab At Kanye West

The Tom Brady roast was a star-studded affair. Some of Brady’s former teammates, Julian Edelman, Randy Moss, and Rob Gronkowski attended the event. Former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick even attended and made an appearance during the roast. Comedians and actors like Kevin Hart, Will Ferrell, Ben Affleck, and roast master Jeff Ross., also made appearances. Brady took a lot of jokes on the chin. Almost every presenter made jokes about his divorce from Gisele Bundchen, which were uncomfortable for the former QB.

Brady was typically a good sport, but it seemed like one of Jeff Ross’s jokes about Patriots owner Robert Kraft bothered him. Ross joked, “So Tom became a Patriot and moved up to New England, and on the first day of training camp, that scrawny rookie famously walked into the owner Robert Kraft‘s office and said, ‘I’m the best decision your organization has ever made. Would you like a massage?’” Brady walked over to Ross and told the comedian in his ear, “Don’t say that sh*t again.” The joke alludes to Kraft’s 2019 prosecution for allegedly requesting illegal acts from a Florida massage parlor. Tom did not like it one bit.

The Kendrick Lamar and Drake feud hit its apex this weekend, with both artists dropping multiple diss tracks against each other. Both rappers have made various claims about one another that have had the public talking and debating whether they are true or not. Shannon Sharpe and Chad Ochocinco talked about the beef on their late-night podcast, and they were not fans of Kendricks’s claims against Drake. Shannon Sharpe said Kendrick showed a lack of morals in his diss tracks, saying he lied about Drake’s life.

On Kendrick Lamar’s diss “Meet The Grahams,” the Compton rapper claims that Drake is hiding another child. He insinuates Drake has an 11-year-old daughter that he is not involved with on the song, among other pretty serious accusations. Social media ran with the idea that Drake was once again hiding another child. Since then, Drake has addressed the situation in “The Heart Part 6,” saying he planted the info to get Kendrick to bite. It’s difficult to see who is telling the truth and who is playing who. Shannon Sharpe and Ocho did not like Kendrick’s perceived lies about Drake at all.

Shannon Sharpe says Kendrick went too far when he called Drake out for allegedly being a pedophile. He says Drake was in a win situation because if he does respond, then the allegation is true, but if he does respond, then you are called out for giving it attention. He says when you put things on people’s names, and you have no idea if it’s true, then it’s a problem. Sharpe also asserts that Kendrick is hypocritical for being upset with his family, which was mentioned in rumors by Drake, and then turns around and says even more harmful things about Drake.

All in all, the discourse about the Drake-Kendrick feud is ongoing. The beef is getting to a stage where even fans are worn out keeping up with all the diss tracks. Shannon Sharpe’s position is that things go too far when you rap about things with no proof, which can seriously damage someone’s reputation. Overall, it would be safe to assume that we haven’t heard the last word from either rapper.

Beyonce Sparks Tour Rumors With Mysterious Hint

Beyonce has buzzed up the Beyhive once more with a curious website post, and her fans think that she might be going on tour again soon. Moreover, she uploaded a picture of a ticket stub with a “Sold Out” stamp on it from her Mrs. Carter show in 2013. Many probably upgraded their WiFi, started saving up, and opened multiple devices at a time to wait for an official ticket announcement. Of course, this is all mostly speculative, but surely the French-defined superstar knows exactly what kind of ruckus she’s making with this move. As such, we’d bet on something concrete coming up very soon.

Furthermore, it seems like Beyoncé isn’t waiting out the tour game as much as she did for 2022’s RENAISSANCE, and that makes some sense. After all, last year’s tour was an absolute smash hit, and so many people couldn’t even get tickets that we’re sure demand will still be magnanimous this time around. But we’ll have to wait and see whether this is a tease for the next few days or for the next few months. Maybe we even see that Lion King prequel before we get a chance to hear “SPAGHETTII” live.

John Legend Served In Connection To L.A. Reid Alleged Sexual Assault Lawsuit

John Legend has found himself roped into the lawsuit against music executive L.A. Reid for alleged sexual assault. For those unaware, former Arista Records employee Drew Dixon accused her former boss of two instances of the crime via a suit filed in November of 2023 under New York’s Adult Survivors Act right before the statute of limitations for this extension ended. In an exclusive AllHipHop report, the latest development in this case is that, according to court documents the publication reportedly obtained, Dixon served John Legend with a notice of deposition, as authorities apparently listed him as a witness in a discovery status report filed on Wednesday (May 1) in New York.

“On April 30, 2024, Plaintiff served notices of depositions for the following witnesses: Nichelle Devaille (deposition set for May 7, 2024); Karen Kwak (May 20, 2024); Roy Lott (June 20, 2024); and John Stephens p/k/a John Legend (June 24, 2024),” the third discovery report supposedly read in this civil case. At press time, the singer hasn’t publicly responded to these claims, the lawsuit, or the notice. It’s unclear whether he will actually have to participate in this trial or if it’s just for some questions. Either way, it’s definitely an escalation.

“Following the second sexual assault in Mr. Reid’s car, Ms. Dixon intensified her efforts to avoid Mr. Reid,” Drew Dixon’s attorneys shared in writing concerning the case against L.A. Reid’s alleged assault. “However, Mr. Reid persisted in trying to corner her alone by inviting her to meetings in his hotel room night after night. When Ms. Dixon resisted his efforts, Mr. Reid grew angry and increasingly hostile towards her, as well as to her artists, and her ideas. This was a drastic reversal from Mr. Reid’s enthusiasm about her creative taste and instincts over the years, and harm came from the fact that Mr. Reid would directly respond to Ms. Dixon’s rejection of his sexual advances by punishing the artists Ms. Dixon had already signed or by blocking the artists she attempted to sign. This included future superstars like Kanye West, John Legend and Toya.

Furthermore, Dixon accused L.A. Reid of sexual battery, infliction of emotional distress driven by intent, violence motivated by gender, and false imprisonment. Following a settlement conference in March, both parties have another scheduled for June 25. While Dixon’s legal team did not need more time to complete discovery, Reid’s did. “With regard to discovery as a whole, Defendant notes that this case presents unusual challenges given that it has been commenced more than two decades after the alleged wrongs,” his lawyers shared. “As a result, additional time has been and will be required to locate witnesses and documents, and Defendant anticipates that some witnesses and documents may ultimately be unavailable due to the passage of time.”
