Recently, the Wildin’ Out host spoke with HipHopDX about T.I.’s comments about him auditioning for his role in the film Drumline. When asked about this, Nick Cannon told the publication, “Yeah, I know about that.” “I’ve interviewed T.I. and he’s interviewed me a couple times and we always talk about that story.” Additionally the mogul mentioned, “…he gets mad at me like, ‘Why you always got to bring that up?’” Even though the King of the South’s failed audition is public knowledge now. Most probably aren’t aware that Cannon also audition for T.I.P’s role in the 2006 film ATL.
“I don’t know if he elaborated on this when he was talking to Shannon Sharpe, I was supposed to do ATL,” Cannon said. Additionally, he made these comments before mentioning that both movies were about Grammy Award-winning, musician, songwriter, and producer Dallas Austin. Consequently, Dallas produced both films. Nick Cannon revealed to the publication that Dallas had both scripts done. However, Cannon was presented with two roller skating movies that year. One being Jellybeans (the original name for ATL) and Roll Bounce (classic). “The bag was a little bigger over at Roll Bounce with less days work; so I chose that one,” he revealed.

Blige, and Marvin Winans provide uplifting melodies that will rejuvenate any spirit. Most notably, Winan’s rendition of “Oh Lord I Want You To Help Me” is simply divine. 2. A Jazzman’s Blues (2022)

You will be shook. I promise.”

Then, late last year, he was arrested for “aggravated menacing.” He was said to be going through a mental evaluation after the arrest. This was not the first time Brown was arrested for reasons relating to violence. Back in 2018, the actor did an interview with Dr. Phil, where he admitted to substance abuse struggled. “A lot of drinking is what happened,” Brown said at the time. “I was drinking a lot. I just found myself in a dark place because I couldn’t really find everybody… From there, now I’m good.” Whether or not he really is good is anybody’s guess.

So is “Should I Stay or Should I Go” from the Clash and Blondie’s hit “One Way or Another.” Each song is executed flawlessly and makes the movie that much more enjoyable.
Donnie Darko (2001)
Donnie Darko is a movie that the vast majority of audiences do not understand. Even on a second or third viewing, what Richard Kelly intended is still not terribly clear. Despite this, Jake Gyllenhaal’s cult classic is praised for its dark themes and unsettling imagery. Additionally, the soundtrack is still incredible over two decades later.
The alternate version of “Mad World” that plays as the film plays is perhaps the most iconic and memorable part. Tears for Fears also makes an appearance with “Head Over Heels.” The soundtrack isn’t long and mostly background music, but the particular song choice and placement make the movie’s admittedly confusing plot a little more bearable.
The Lion King (1994)
The Lion King is a great movie. It features a strong story with beautiful animation, especially for 1994. Many consider it one of the best-animated features of all time. The soundtrack certainly helped the film stand apart from previous Disney productions at the time. Almost 30 years later, the songs still land effectively in or out of the movie. Elton John and Hans Zimmer worked together to perfection on this one.
8 Mile (2002)
Any movie prominently featuring Eminem in his prime is going to have one of the best movie soundtracks of all time. Having the song “Lose Yourself” in it is an automatic bid to be one of the best. “Lose Yourself” won the Oscar for Best Original Song. It was the first hip-hop song to win that award. Taking it a step further, the song won the Grammy for Best Rap Song and Best Rap Solo Performance. The other songs could have mailed it in and made one of the best soundtracks ever.
The Prince Of Egypt (1998)
The Prince of Egypt continues to be hailed as one of the most extraordinary animations ever. Productions that have a religious foundation have been carefully scrutinized. However, all praised the way Dreamworks communicated this Biblical story of Moses, regardless of their beliefs. The score and soundtrack are one of the company’s most memorable. The original songs here (which is often more complicated to do than incorporating existing songs) are all flawless and drive the movie the entire time.
Elvis (2022)
Elvis is a solid movie with an unbelievable performance from Austin Butler, but the soundtrack is easily one of the best. Butler’s singing as Elvis is exceptional. The Elvis songs they included are also exceptional. In late March, Jonathan Majors and his now ex-girlfriend were in the back of a taxi. According to reports, he received a message from another woman. Majors allegedly slapped his girlfriend when she attempted to check the messages, and then placed his hands around her neck. Furthermore, it was reported that law enforcement was called to the area in response to the incident. Subsequently, Majors’ girlfriend was taken to a nearby hospital by authorities due to visible injuries on her face and body. Majors’ lawyers shared alleged messages from the woman that would clear the actor’s name if they’re legitimate. However, that doesn’t seem to be stopping people from dropping him left and right.
Last week, Majors was let go by his manager. The actor and Entertainment 360 supposedly “mutually agreed” to part ways, which is another way of saying that he was dropped. Majors also lost his publicist. According to Deadline, he has already shot season 2 of Loki, which means he will likely still be appearing in that. In fact, there have apparently been zero talks at Marvel about removing Jonathan Majors from his role as Kang. That is a very small silver lining for Majors, as his his career hangs in the balance regardless. However, it seems that TMZ has acquired some evidence that could sway public opinion in the actor’s favor.

Last week, Jonathan Majors spoke out to say that there was video evidence that supposedly proved his innocence. This was directly after it was reported that other alleged victims had been working to help the DA form a case against him. TMZ has now obtained the video that Majors and his law team spoke of. In this new evidence, the ex-girlfriend who accused him of abuse was caught on security cameras going out to a club after the alleged attack. She appears to be physically unharmed and using the hand that Majors had reportedly caused major injury to.
In the filing referencing the video, Majors and his lawyers made several other claims about the woman. She reportedly sent him text messages accusing him of being unfaithful. She also allegedly threatened to harm herself. In addition, Majors’ lawyers claim that the driver who was present for the incident will testify that he did not see the actor harm the woman. At the time of writing, The Super Mario Bros. Movie has a domestic gross of $434,329,610. That makes it the third-highest-grossing domestic film ever released by Universal. It only trails 2015’s Jurassic World and 1987’s E.T. The Extra Terrestrial. Furthermore, it is Universal’s best-ever performing animated filming. It easily cruised past the mark set by 2022’s Minions: The Rise Of Gru. Universal’s all-time-grossing film, both worldwide and domestic, is 2015’s Jurassic World. The reboot of the Jurassic Park franchise brought in $1,669,963,641. However, that figure included a $1 billion international gross, which helped the film’s profits immensely.
However, according to DiscussingFilm, The Super Mario Bros. Movie is set to join a very exclusive club. The film’s worldwide gross currently sits at $876,438,061, best for 12th in Universal’s catalog. However, Mario is expected wahoo his way past $1 billion this week. If that’s the case, the film will become Universal’s 9th $1 billion film. The last film from the studio to reach that mark was 2022’s Jurassic World: Dominion. It would also become the 11th animated film to break $1 billion, and the third from Universal. While domestic sales are starting to drop, falling 37% between its second and third week, the film is still north of $50 million per week. It’s likely that it will at the very least take the #2 spot from ET before it leaves theatres.
