Chrisean Rock and her weeks-old son have been spotted outside nearly every day since the little one’s birth, and with every trip has come criticism for the 23-year-old’s unique parenting style. The most recent bout of drama unfolded after her co-parent, Blueface, revealed that their baby boy has a hernia during an interview with Adam22 and Wack 100. When that news went viral, the father of three made the disappointing decision to post a photo of his baby’s genitals online while putting Rock on blast for allegedly neglecting to deal with the issue.

Plenty of people have been chiming in on the disturbing situation, including another new mother, Keke Palmer. “This is so sad to me, especially as a new mom,” the Chicago native wrote on Instagram on Monday (September 25). “I didn’t wanna say nothing or involve myself [in] anything but my heart is breaking for all involved. This is exactly what maternal health care is about,” the former child star began her rant. She then reminded readers that it doesn’t matter how they feel about Rock – at the end of the day, she still deserves adequate help and care.

“Why doesn’t anyone care about her or any of THE OTHER MOTHERS THAT ARE STRUGGLING?” Palmer asked. “She is just ONE but the face of MANY! Was anyone there to help Chrisean’s mother and support her through maternal health care? How was she able to help her kids as a single mother?” she continued to rant. Though she obviously put a lot of thought and feeling into her message, it missed the mark with the Baltimore-born entertainer. “Keke Palmer we got each other’s number,” Rock tweeted this morning. “[You] chiming in like we don’t [have] each other’s number is whatever… Junior’s dad is just somebody that I have to really stay away from,” she acknowledged.

“I gave him the benefit of [the] doubt. When she said ‘instead of filming me, help me’ it hit me to my core. I know it’s not easy or convenient to intervene in the affairs of people you don’t know, but I do it all the time.”

Since giving birth for the first time earlier this month, she and her baby boy have been outside with reckless abandon. First, Rock faced backlash for taking him to a football game while still wearing her hospital bracelet. After that, she also brought Chrisean Jr. to the studio for his debut appearance in Blueface’s “Baby Momma Drama” visual, bringing more criticism her way.

What the Baddies cast member has felt the most heat for, however, is a video of her at the grocery store, keeping a far more secure hold on her dog than on her son. The clip quickly went viral, earning responses from her baby daddy and his mom, Karlissa Saffold. “Got my baby in the g****** grocery store with the g****** s*** folded over like he doing a backbend like he in the g****** gymnastics already,” she lashed out at Rock on Live earlier this week. Who their friends are, silly words they’re saying, their favourite foods, all the silly things that they do.” Kardashian added that “it’s so fun to see from the first year” up to the present day how much things have evolved.

Her eldest, North West, is quickly approaching her 10th birthday, meaning that she already has a sizeable stack of letters from her mom to reflect on. “I know that they’ll appreciate this,” Kim confidently said. “I know that they’ll appreciate things they might’ve thought I was being a little harsh on, me protecting them. Palmer shared the news of her pregnancy with the world in December while hosting Saturday Night Live. It’s reported she decided to make her big reveal on the show after realizing the physicality needed to perform couldn’t be done while keeping her secret. She closed out February with the news of her son’s arrival and even shared his name: Leodis Jackson. Fans had fun teasing her about that one, but Palmer took it all in stride.

Since then, she’s been updating her followers about the ups and downs of her first months as a mom. This week, Palmer shared a photo of her “mommy’ing” with her newborn, nicknamed “Mookie Mook,” as they went for a stroll. “I have juggled quite a few careers but this is my greatest gig of all,” the actress wrote in the caption of her photos. “Learning how to balance it all and looking forward to discovering this new person I am becoming. “I just came on here to say, if you are a single parent, pull out your cape. Matter fact, clip your angel wings. In the show, Kash Doll plays Monique, a single mom and paralegal, who is also a love interest of Big Meech. Before BMF, Kash had only appeared in 2 episodes of Empire as herself in 2020.

She gave birth to her first son in January 2022. “Whatever I’m doing, I just give it all I got because my time means something.
