Flo Milli And Monaleo Are Hitting The Road For The ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Tour’

You know, there’s probably a fascinating deep dive waiting to be written about how energy drinks have somehow become the drivers of pop culture. While you might be aware of Red Bull’s work in the music business as a part-time label and tour promoter, Red Bull’s rival, Monster Energy, has become quite the tastemaking hub in its own right via the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour, which most recently sent Latto and her supporting acts Kali and Saucy Santana on their first national tour.

This year, another rising star is getting her first headlining tour courtesy of Monster: Flo Milli, who recently announced her Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Tour supported by special guest Monaleo. Kicking off in Atlanta on October 18, the tour will run through November 16 in Los Angeles. “It’s gonna be a party every night, and I can’t wait to perform these new songs for everybody!” said the Alabama brat rapper.

Of course, those new songs will include entries from her new album, You Still Here, Ho? like “Big Steppa,” “No Face,” and “Conceited.” You can get ticket info here and see below for the dates.

Monaleo Drops “We Not Humping (Remix)” Video Featuring Flo Milli

Monaleo Flo Milli We Not Humping Remix

Monaleo made a name for herself when she came with her version of Houston classic “Knocking Picture Off The Wall.” Her “Beating Down Yo Block” became a H-Town anthem for independent women all over.

Continuing to stand for the women who don’t need a man for nothing, Monaleo is back with a new visual “We Not Humping (Remix),” featuring Flo Milli. In the video directed by Chris Villa, Monaleo and Flo Milli erase the stereo type of women using men as “object.”

The “We Not Humping (Remix)” is straight to the point. The sexy female rap tandem show off their sexy, but the message is clear, there is no sexual intercourse going on.

Over the Aryay and Diablo produced beat, Monaleo sets the tone with her lyrics. The Houstonian said,

“Put that d**k up, we not humpin’, Sky Zone, b**h, my block jumpin’/ Jump out the black truck, we start dumpin’, in the field with a hundred bands, no trumpet/ Main n***a just cut me off, fuck it, n***a, stop talkin’, just come suck it/ When it’s smoke, bet the opps gon’ duck it.”

Monaleo Throws A Raucous House Party In Her Vibrant Video For ‘We Not Humping’

After earning a lot of attention last year, rising Houston rapper Monaleo wasted no time getting to work in 2022. In 2021, she had her breakout single “Beating Down Yo Block,” plus an appearance on fellow Houston native Maxo Kream’s Weight Of The World album. She ended the year by dropping the single “We Not Humping,” which she recently graced with a video. In it, Monaleo and her boyfriend and rapper Stunna 4 Vegas throw a raucous house party that upsets at least one of her neighbors, but that proves to be the least of her worries.

The video is set to be the latest offering from Monaleo’s upcoming debut project, which is set to arrive spring of this year. The song also captured her growing popularity as the video became her quickest to tally 100,000 views, doing so in just a day. In addition to records like “Beating Down Yo Block” and “We Not Humping,” Monaleo has also shown her versatility through the muscle-flexing “Suck It Up” and the warm-spirited “Girls Outside.”

Other highlights in Monaleo’s career so far include being selected for Beyonce’s Summer 2021 Ivy Park campaign and Youtube Music’s Foundry Class of 2021.

Monaleo Gets Straight To The Point On The Dismissive ‘We Not Humping’

Houston rapper Monaleo is among the freshman rappers to keep an eye on for 2022. The 20-year-old independent musician has caught the eye of many thanks to the success of her debut single “Beating Down Yo Block,” which boasts a sample of Yungstar’s “Knocking Pictures Off Da Wall” plus her sharp confidence as she relays her anger about a past lover who did her wrong. Monaleo concludes her strong year with the new single “We Not Humping.”

The track features Monaelo’s trademark energy and hard-hitting bars, which she uses to shut down a man’s request to get intimate. She gets straight to the point with lines like “Put a bag on your head ’cause it’s in my budget / All I gotta do is push a button” and “He don’t like my ways but I’m not changing / I don’t text him back ’cause that sh*t draining.”

The new song comes after Monaleo teamed up with fellow Houston native Maxo Kream for “Cece” off his latest album, Weight Of The World. Prior to that, she dropped a strong follow-up to “Beating Down Yo Block” with “Suck It Up,” which took aim at the women who have an issue with her confidence, success, and ability to attract the attention of men.
