Aitch Is Coming Out Guns Blazing On “Lost Files”

The UK rap scene is extremely crowded and Aitch is one of those many talents across the pond. He is from New Moston, Manchester, and has been in the rap game for about six years now. He has four projects to his name, with the first dropping in 2017. One thing about him is that he likes to keep his projects short. That way, he can leave no extra room for filler tracks. It is a great thing to see Aitch stay true to, especially during the streaming age.

It is so common nowadays to see rappers pad out their tracklists to run up their streams as much as possible. The music quality is almost always compromised and is a big reason why some people, even other rappers, are saying hip-hop is in a bad state. But, like we said, Aitch is sticking to his guns. He does so with his fifth project, Lost Files.

Listen To Lost Files By Aitch

This one sits at seven tracks and is nearly 21 minutes in length. There were a handful of singles ahead of Aitch’s release. In fact, nearly half of the final product was pushed out. “Landslide” with Nafe Smallz, “Murdaside (Remix),” and “Heist” featuring PLK, gave us an idea of the topics at hand. Aitch is ruthless and cold-blooded across the majority of the songs here. Other features include Cordae, Potter Payper, and Mazza_I20.

Sada Baby Drops His Second Tape Of The Year With “SkuBop”

Sada Baby, a rapper hailing from Detroit, Michigan, has made a name for himself by creating high-energy bangers. He does not have a massive fanbase. However, it seems he is more focused on creating what he enjoys and it has still led to a stable career. Baby got his start, at least on streaming, in 2016. A handful of singles with some more local names got the ball rolling for him. His singles catalog is massive, as well as his album discography. It is especially impressive for someone who has been in the game for just seven years.

The project that really set him up for a career was his 2020 tape, Skuba Sada 2. Two tracks became popular amongst Sada Baby’s fans were “Aktivated” and “Pressin” with the late King Von. In addition, the follow-up, Skuba Sada 2.5 in 2022, also contained another hit, “Whole Lotta Choppas (Remix)” with Nicki Minaj.

Queen Naija Shares Some Gorgeous Vocals On Her New EP “After The Butterflies”

Queen Naija is a talented singer, there is no disputing that. She is back to put her skills on full display with a brand-new, 10-track EP, After the Butterflies. Over the course of 2023, Naija had been releasing a single here and there to keep her fans satisfied. He has certainly delivered on that by going on a feature run and now he is back with another full project. Danny Brown Details How Far He Has Come On “Quaranta”

Danny Brown’s career is one that will go down as maybe the most underrated in the history of the genre. His gut-busting humor, along with his ability to get serious at the drop of a hat, has made him an extremely versatile artist. Brown’s sound may not be for everyone, but his individualism makes him one of the more memorable figures in hip-hop. He has obviously experienced a lot over the course of his time in the industry and that is one of the topics he tackles on his brand-new album.

Quaranta is Danny’s sixth studio album and first since his 2019 effort, uknowhatimsayin¿ This project is sort of a sequel to his 2011 tape, XXX, which is the Roman numeral for 30. If you took any Italian in school, Quaranta translates to 40. The Detroit rapper turned 40 back in 2021 and he wanted to make this LP about how much his life has changed in the past 10 years.

Brown gets into this theme right from the beginning on the title track. “A lot changed since triple X came out / Bought a few cars and a house / Almost had a spouse, got caught up, she was out / Now I’m sitting here, questioning what life is about.” Of course, ahead of the release, Danny put out a couple of singles. Those being “Tantor” and “Jenn’s Terrific Vacation.” For this full-circle-like record, Danny brought out some big names to help with the project. Some of those include The Alchemist, ZelooperZ, and more.

Andre 3000 Shares Highly-Anticipated Project “New Blue Sun”

In a moment that has hip-hop enthusiasts rejoicing worldwide, Andre 3000 drops his highly anticipated album New Blue Sun. Earlier this week, Andre 3000 surprised fans by announcing his long-awaited solo debut album. Almost two decades have passed since OutKast’s last album, leaving fans hungry for new material from one of the genre’s most iconic figures. The revelation has sparked a wave of excitement, as listeners now get to delve into a groundbreaking addition to Andre 3000’s already illustrious career.

It’s almost surreal that the world hasn’t witnessed a solo project from the acclaimed rapper in all these years. While Andre 3000 has kept himself in the musical landscape with a handful of notable features, the prospect of a solo album seemed like a distant dream. Fans had, to some extent, resigned themselves to the idea that the elusive solo project might never materialize. However, the recent announcement has shattered those doubts and reignited the excitement for Andre 3000’s solo work.

The title, New Blue Sun, also speaks to the departure from the familiar, signaling a new chapter in Andre 3000’s artistic journey. In a departure from the conventional hip-hop norms, the album consists of an 87-minute sonic experience that defies expectations. This unique project deliberately does not include traditional rap bars. And the packaging boldly warns listeners with a succinct, “Warning: no bars.” According to NPR, André’s foray into this instrumental realm goes beyond the absence of vocals, as he immerses himself in a diverse array of flutes.

The album features a captivating showcase of his musical versatility, with André skillfully playing instruments ranging from contrabass flute to Mayan flutes and bamboo flutes, alongside other digital wind instruments. This departure from the lyrical and rhythmic elements typically associated with hip-hop highlights André 3000’s innovative approach. It’s an immersive journey where the absence of traditional bars doesn’t diminish the richness of the sonic landscape he meticulously crafts. Did you get a chance to check out the album yet?

Drake is back with new music! In a surprise move that has left fans buzzing with anticipation since he announced the surprise drop, For All The Dogs Scary Hours Edition is out now. The project now features 29 tracks, including the originals on For All The Dogs and six brand new ones. J. Cole appears on new track “Evil Ways.” The 6 God, known for his chart-topping hits and game-changing albums, took to social media on Wednesday night (Nov. 15) to share the exciting news of a new album. The additional tracks Drake’s confidence in his latest body of work is admirable. He declared “I feel no need to appease anybody. I feel so confident about the body of work I just dropped that I know I can go and disappear for whatever… six months, a year… two years.” This bold statement suggests that the third installment of Scary Hours might be a standout move to close out the year. After having a big year, with just finishing out his It’s All A Blur Tour, to dropping the highly-anticipated For All The Dogs, Drake’s not taking any breaks. In recent news, he also announced that he’s going back on tour, but this time with J. Cole.
