Drake Shares Heartfelt Message Following The Death Of 40’s Father, Donald Shebib

Recently, Drake took to Instagram to share a message following the passing of Donald Shebib. Shebib was a celebrated Canadian filmmaker, as well as the father of Noah “40” Shebib, one of Drake’s close friends. He shared a photo of the two of them embracing one another alongside a heartfelt caption. “Don Shebib gave me one of my best friends in the world and we were able to build something that changed our lives and our city forever,” he wrote. “Long love the Don we will continue in your honour for as long as they allow us.”

Shebib was pronounced dead at the age of 85 in Toronto over the weekend. His son shared a similarly emotional message on Instagram following the news. “I will always miss you my good friend [hand heart emoji] Until I see you again. Rest in Paradise [black heart emoji],” he captioned a carousel of sweet photos alongside his father. “Donald Shebib. The legendary Canadian Filmmaker. You deserve all your flowers. [black heart, flowers emoji].”

Drake Says “Long Love The Don”

The message for his late father isn’t the only emotional post 40’s shared recently, however. Last month, he penned a message denouncing the atrocities currently taking place amid the Israel-Palestine conflict. “I live in Canada,” he began an Instagram post. “One of the worlds most brutally violent colonial regimes. Still in active genocides against indigenous peoples. It’s hard to speak as I sit here benefiting from colonial violence to the highest degree.”

“Believing in both the human rights of Palestinians and the right and need of a Jewish state has meant I have always had friends on both sides. And beyond the physical war, seeing them be pushed into extremism by such acts of violence is distressing,” he added. What do you think of Drake’s heartfelt message following Donald Shebib’s passing? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more news. R.I.P. Donald Shebib.

YK Osiris’ Treatment Of Sukihana Gets Slammed By Wack 100

The Internet is becoming increasingly and unfortunately divided over YK Osiris’ unwanted advances towards Sukihana, who he grabbed and repeatedly tried to kiss despite her reluctance while she commentated a basketball game. Instead of scolding the artist for his behavior, defending the Delaware native’s rights, and acknowledging the violation of them, many instead focused on the reaction to these actions, labeling it another witch hunt and asking people to downplay what happened. No such reaction came from Wack 100, though, who had strong words for Osiris. Via Instagram, he defended the “Love & Hip Hop: Miami” star and called out those defending the rapper.

“@ykosiris I’ve been knowing you for a while,” Wack 100’s message began. “But for this you need ya a** whooped! Those men that sat there & watched that were in arms reach y’all COWARDS as well! So what if a women works at a strip club. So what if she has a only fans doing whatever, so what if she raps songs about how good something is. That gives no man the right to force themselves on any women. @meekmill if you ain’t gone check @ykosiris publicly don’t ask this woman to look the other way publicly. They make a few places for people like this… prison, ER, mortuary.”

Wack 100 Slams YK Osiris

Many criticized Wack 100’s response not because they disagreed, but because his artist Blueface is known to mistreat women as well. In the hours since the incident made headlines, YK Osiris apologized for his actions. “I want to publicly offer my sincerest apology to Sukihana,” he posted on Instagram. “In an attempt to be playful, I misread the moment and violated Sukihana’s boundaries. I understand the importance of consent and I am embarrassed by my behavior, I take full responsibility and have made multiple attempts to apologize. I have the utmost admiration for Sukihana and it was never my intention to disrespect her.”

Said apology came soon after Sukihana deleted her Twitter account, an action that followed a series of tweets seemingly addressing the situation. In them, she expressed feeling “hurt and scared to stand up for” herself, “crying all day,” once using alcohol to cope and then leaving it behind, and feeling the need to disappear for some time. Her mother slammed the rapper’s apology as “fake” in a since-deleted post. No matter your take on the situation, two wrongs don’t make a right, and certainly don’t warrant attacks on Sukihana or her family for what happened. For the latest updates and news on YK Osiris, Wack 100, and Sukihana, stay up to date on HNHH.

Drake Pens Farewell Message To Toronto Before Tour

It’s shaping up to be a wild summer for artist tours, with Drake and 21 Savage leading the way with their collaborative It’s All A Blur trek. Before kicking it off in Memphis, Tennessee in the United States on June 29th, though, Drizzy wanted to say goodbye to his home city of Toronto. After all, it’s his first North American tour since his 2018 journey with the Migos. While his latest Instagram Story didn’t make it clear why he was leaving a bit over two weeks before the tour starts, it did feature some heartfelt words towards the 6ix. In addition, a gorgeous picture of the city’s CN Tower, famously featured on the cover of his 2016 album Views.

“Goodbye my beautiful city,” Drake penned on IG on Monday (June 12). “I haven’t left for this reason in over 6 years but I hope I can make you proud once again. I love you all. Have an amazing summer and pls try to take care of each other. See you in October.” On the 5th and 7th of that month, he will close the tour out in Toronto, unfortunately without 21.

Drake’s Goodbye To Toronto (For Now)

However, even though these next few months will surely have him busy, Drake is still gearing up some heat in the studio, apparently. As if having one of the most commercially successful albums of 2022 wasn’t enough, the Canadian superstar seems to be tapping old friends back. He posted a picture of him and frequent collaborator Sampha on his Instagram Story. Furthermore, the two have a proven track record of great songs such as “Too Much,” “The Motion,” and Sampha’s solo (vocal) track on Drake’s More Life project, “4422.”

Meanwhile, Drizzy continued stacking up his list of dynamic duos since then, whether in the musical or romantic sense. For example, he seemed to confirm dating rumors with Lilah via Instagram as well, although that could just be chalked up to loving language and not an actual relationship confirmation. On the other hand, his bromance with Lil Yachty remains as strong as ever. For more news and the latest updates on Drake, keep checking in with HNHH.

Kevin Gates Has A Wild Message For Fans And Haters Alike

Rapper Kevin Gates recently expressed his views on financial arrangements in relationships through an Instagram Live session. During the session, a viewer inquired about his stance on splitting finances equally with his partner. Gates responded by recounting his own personal experience. The rapper mentioning that he had been involved with a woman who offered him something invaluable that money couldn’t purchase. It was a nice moment of clarity for an artist that often posts some pretty odd or explicit things on his social media accounts.

“I have been in a relationship where the woman provided me intangible wealth,” Gates said of the previous union. He said that “no amount of money” could buy what she gave him. “She did everything to make my life peaceful and it motivated me and allowed me to focus and make more money,” Gates continued. “50/50 wasn’t half of the rent, but she provided a place of peace to me in order to reach my highest potential.” Gates went on to say that there are several types of wealth. Some are tangible and others are intangible.

Gates: “Find Me That N*gga Who Could Say He Stuck His D*ck In Me”

Kevin Gates recently came back to Instagram to send a message to his followers. The rapper seems to have gained a certain level of peace in his life recently. In interviews not too long ago, he even spoke about hunting for his own meat. He also posted an extremely NSFW video of a child being born. While some may find it disturbing, one can see the value in posting it. The rapper’s latest video, however, has some confused. In it, Gates seems to be relaxing in the ocean as he speaks directly to the camera. He had quite a bit to say. Some parts of it made more sense than others.

“Let the record reflect, he or she that ever did me dirty when I wasn’t nothing but genuine with you people… Hey, I forgive you. I didn’t understand it when I was going through it, but I thank you,” Gates said sincerely. “‘Cause y’all… provoked me to be something that I never, ever thought I could be.” This is where the rapper’s message started to go a little bit off the rails. “I’m gonna step away for a while, and I’m gonna have my executive assistant take care of my affairs… Hey but do me two favors,” Gates said. “Find me two n*ggas. Find me that n*gga that could say I told on him, and find me that n*gga that could say he stuck his d*ck in me. Everybody that comes around takes my style and tries to steal it.” Many were confused by the second half of his statement. What do you think about it? Be sure to sound off in the comments!

Ne-Yo Shares Open Message To People Hating On His Personal Life

Ne-Yo’s been in the news quite a bit recently, but he doesn’t see that as an excuse for people to comment on his personal life. Moreover, the R&B singer came through with a couple of Instagram Story posts blasting people speaking on his name. Furthermore, he launched some light jabs and harsher critiques throughout his “unbothered” rant, claiming that people are probably just jealous. Most recently, he finalized his divorce after he apparently cheated on his wife and fathered a child with another woman. Even with a lot of drama surrounding him, he wanted to make it clear that it’s not getting to him, even though that’s exactly what a social media post about backlash suggests.

“I just need the whole world to understand this,” Ne-Yo began his message. “Your opinions of me and my personal life don’t mean ANYTHING to me. My kids love me, my women love me. My future is bright as f**k!! I don’t even have time to concern myself with what y’all think. I feel like the father in ‘The Nutty Professor.’ ‘You really think I be listening to you. ION BE LISTENING TO YOU!!’

Ne-Yo Blasts The Haters

“I might come from the Omarion school of unbotheredness,” Ne-Yo continued. “I hope everybody that needs to see this sees it. Cause I’ve already wasted too much time trying to let y’all know. Feel how you wanna feel about me. Imma still sleep comfortable as hell tonight and every night following. Meanwhile you mad cause I’m living….. Tf!?? How’s that working out for you…? Ok. Back to regularly scheduled program. Healthy, smart, and beautiful kids, limitless bank account, beautiful baby mama’s (Front [if] you want to. They all bad.) And lady friends that love my dirty drawls. ‘Life is good…’ (Future voice).

“Now run n’ tell the shaderoom I said it,” he concluded prophetically. “Sad muthaf***as. Ion smile all the time just because my s**t is beautiful. I smile cause I’m HAPPY AS F**K!! Go get you some.” If he stays in the news, perhaps this won’t be the last rant we hear from the 43-year-old. On that note, log back into HNHH for the latest news and updates on Ne-Yo.

Chance The Rapper Seemingly Responds To Wife’s Message On Instagram

The video of Chance The Rapper grinding with another woman during a Jamaican festival send social media into a frenzy. However, all that’s come from him and his wife concerning the subject is shrouded in an indirect haze. Moreover, the Chicago MC just reposted a clip of standup comedian Bill Burr talking about marriage and fights that happen within it. Furthermore, he doesn’t seem to have captioned the post, but it does line up with people calling him out for the dance. Wherever you land on the debate of whether or not he can do so, it’s hard not to see Burr’s words relate to the situation.

“Yeah, I love my wife to death,” the comedian expressed during his stand-up show. “I love everything about being f***ing married. But I’ll tell you this right now: we do fight a lot. We do argue all the time. If I’ve learned anything in five years of being married, it’s we’re always working on me. You know?” Burr concludes on Chance The Rapper’s IG Story with a laugh. Previously, his wife Kirsten Corley posted a quote from Maya Angelou seemingly addressing the viral dance video.

Did Chance The Rapper Address His Dancing Video?

“Most people don’t grow up,” the quote read. “It’s too damn difficult. What happens is most people get older. That’s the truth of it. They honor their credit cards, they find parking spaces, they marry, the have the nerve to have children, but they don’t grow up. Not really. They get older. But to grow up costs the earth, the earth. It manes you take responsibility for the time you take up, for the space you occupy. It’s serious business. And you find out what it costs us to love and to lose, to dare and to fail. And maybe even more, to succeed. What it costs, in truth. Not superficial costs- anybody can have that- I mean in truth.”

Meanwhile, Chance is probably keeping busy with other endeavors, as much as this must weigh on his social media presence. For example, he recently announced a concert commemorating the ten-year anniversary of Acid Rap. No matter what business they get up to online, though, all that matters for their relationship is what they want and agree on. If you’re looking for the latest updates on Chance The Rapper and his wife Kirsten Corley, check back in with HNHH.
