Meek Mill Freestyles Over “Hit ‘Em Up” After Eagles Win NFC Championship

Meek Mill had bars for the 49ers after the Eagles won the NFC Championship on Sunday night.

The excitement is real in Philadelphia now that the Eagles have secured their place in the Super Bowl. Many of the city’s most prominent figures, such as Kevin Hart and Lil Uzi Vert, were in attendance. Uzi actually walked the Eagles onto the field ahead of the big game.

However, Meek Mill may have been more inspired by the win. Though the Dreams & Nightmares intro rang out across the city, Meek dished more bars to the 49ers and their fans. This time, Meek hit the ‘Gram where he dropped some bars over 2Pac’s “Hit ‘Em Up.” “Make one of these LOL. We bombing on folks lol let’s go Eagles,” he captioned the post.

“First off, fuck your clique and the team you claim/ Northside, Southside, it’s a Eagles game/ Y’all claim to keep it playa but pat your back/ Plus the other quarterback couldn’t even pass it back,” he raps.

In addition to his freestyle, Meek Mill was in a  celebratory mood and offered to perform at a club for free.

The Philadelphia Eagles will now face off against the Kansas City Chiefs for the Vince Lombardi Trophy at Super Bowl LVI on Feb. 14th.

Meek Mill’s Old Picture Lands Him In Another Rapper’s Hilarious Freestyle

Meek Mill is the unintended comedic gold mind that keeps on giving. Whether he is promoting new music or speaking with a friend on FaceTime as they recover in the hospital, the rapper just can’t help but put a smile on someone’s face. This time fellow rapper JID is caught up in the Philadelphia native’s humor storm.

As the “Dope” rapper was brushing up on his lyrical skills, he came across an old picture Meek had uploaded to Instagram. The image innocently features Meek’s leg dipped into a swimming pool. However, a lap full of plain french fries are strangely scattered on top of his soaked swimming trunks. Inspired by the image, JID took to Twitter to share a throwaway freestyle line.

In a now-deleted tweet, JID wrote, “tryna get inside ya thighs like Meek Mill’s fries.”

Although the picture was originally uploaded back in May 2020, JID revealed he had no clue it existed until yesterday (January 22), writing, “I just saw this for the first time today.”

Meek hasn’t responded to JID’s bar but based on his past acceptance of being the king of awkward memes, he is sure to brush it off.

Rolling Loud Is Returning To Portugal In 2023 With Travis Scott, Playboi Carti, And Meek Mill

Here’s some stunning news: Future is not headlining Rolling Loud in Portugal this year. It’ll be the first Rolling Loud to not feature Future as a headliner since the 2021 New York show, as he was billed on every event in 2022 and the upcoming return to Los Angeles this March. Instead, the Portugal show this year will be headlined by returning RL mainstay Travis Scott, Playboi Carti, and Meek Mill. It’ll take place the weekend of July 5-7 at Portimão, Praia Da Rocha Beach.

Also included on the lineup are such names as Central Cee, GloRilla, JID, Joey Badass, Kodak Black, Latto, Lil Durk, Lil Uzi Vert, NLE Choppa, Ski Mask The Slump God, Soulja Boy, and YG. Local acts like Wet Bed Gang (no comment) are also included, and a bunch of the lineup is dominated by British rap standouts like Aitch, Digga D, Sainté, Tion Wayne, and more.

Rolling Loud’s last event in Portugal took place July 6-8, 2022 and was headlined by ASAP Rocky, Future, and J. Cole. Clearly, it went well enough that the festival is returning to the Iberian Peninsula, with many of the same acts returning.

Presale for Rolling Loud Portugal begins January 26 at 10 am, while general sale begins at 1 pm. As usual, more info can be found on RollingLoud.com.

Meek Mill Joins Lil Baby In Unfollowing Gunna

Meek Mill quietly unfollowed Gunna on Instagram shortly after Lil Baby.

Gunna’s faced a tremendous amount of backlash after he copped an Alford plea in court. Though his attorney insisted that he won’t testify, a video of Gunna admitting that YSL is a gang emerged online. Many feel as though the statement will be used against Young Thug, who prosecutors accuse of being the YSL leader.

Fans have hounded Gunna but it seems as if his rap peers have as well. Lil Baby, a close collaborator and friend, unfollowed the DS4EVER rapper over the weekend. Shortly after, Meek Mill followed suit. Fans quickly noticed that the Philadelphia rapper is no longer following Gunna, which many to be a result of his decision to cop a plea.

Meek Mill advocated for Gunna and Young Thug’s release since the YSL arrest last year. At this point, Meek hasn’t shared any statements regarding Gunna’s decision to cop an Alford plea.

The “pushing p” rapper basically faced a flurry of pushback from his peers, including many close collaborators. Lil Durk shared a snippet of new music on Saturday that seemingly contained a diss towards his “What Happened To Virgil” collaborator.

“What happened to virgil? He probably gon’ tell,” Durk rapped on the record and many fans ran with it as a shot towards the ATL rapper.

Gunna’s Alford plea means that he plead guilty to one charge while maintaining his innocence to the same charge. The judge sentenced the Drip Or Drown artist to 5-years with time served. However, the remaining time was suspended and he’ll have to serve 500 hours of community service.

Boosie Badazz Celebrates Meek Mill’s Pardon: ‘Keep Going Young King’

22-Year-Old Arrested For Fatal Shooting at Boosie Badazz Video Shoot

Over the weekend, Meek Mill received a pardon from the governor of Pennsylvania. Meek was celebrated across social media, including some special words from Boosie Badazz.

“@MeekMill Mill GOT A PARDON!!,” the Baton Rouge rapper wrote on Twitter. “THATS SUM Powefulshit!! THATS REAL POWER!! U N YOUR TEAM CAN CHANGE LAWS N BRING ALOT OF REAL ONES HOME FROM PRISON WHO HAVE BEEN WRONGED!! KEEP GOING YOUNG KING I BELIEVE YOU CAN MAKE SOME CHANGES FOR THE ONES GONE #mademesmilethismorning”

Hitting Instagram, Meek revealed the certificate, noting the forgiveness of criminal convictions, which can now be expunged from his record.

“Thank y’all,” Meek wrote on Instagram. “I’m only gone do more for my community, on god!”

Meek was included in a round of Pennsylvania citizens who received a pardon. The total number for this week was 369.

“I have taken this process very seriously — reviewing and giving careful thought to each and every one of these 2,540 pardons and the lives they will impact. Every single one of the Pennsylvanians who made it through the process truly deserves their second chance, and it’s been my honor to grant it,” said Gov. Wolf. “A record prevents positive forward motion in a person’s life, and can spark a repetitive cycle of defeat. I firmly believe that with restored rights, pardoned Pennsylvanians prove themselves by stepping up and giving back to our communities.”

You can learn more about Gov. Wolf’s pardon here.

Meek’s promise to do good in the community follows a recent effort by him and his friends. Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin, fellow REFORM Alliance Co-Chair and Grammy Award-winning musician Meek Mill, and actor Kevin Hart have announced a $7 million donation to 60 private and parochial schools in need. These schools will use the money to provide low-income students from underserved families with scholarships for the 2023–2024 school year.

Additionally, the funds will grant access to much-needed home technology, such as laptops, tablets, and WiFi.

The newest installment in Meek Mill and Michael Rubin’s ongoing commitment to help communities in need, which has resulted in gifts totaling $17M over the course of past years, is this $7M donation.

These charitable endeavors follow up on significant charitable endeavors and initiatives held at the end of 2022 over the recent holiday season. In order to provide more than 30 children who have been adversely affected by the criminal justice system and unfair probations with a special VIP experience, Rubin and Mill teamed up with REFORM Alliance, the Philadelphia Eagles, and the 76ers for the annual Season of Giving event. Meek also cleared the bail for 20 Philadelphian women so that they could spend Christmas Eve with their families.

Meek Mill Sets The Record Straight About Allegedly Shading Lori Harvey

Meek Mill found himself in hot water after fans speculated that he was shading Lori Harvey over a recent social media post. “Y’all let that gal f#%k anybody,” he tweeted on Friday. It was recently revealed that Harvey, who was once the object of Philadelphia rapper’s affection, might be dating Snowfall actor Damon Idris.

News broke about the alleged couple’s relationship after Idris posted a few photos with Harvey on his Instagram.

In 2018, on his track “Goin Bad,” featuring Drake, Meek rapped about putting the enigmatic socialite on his Christmas “wish list,”but the tune quickly changed after the model and entrepreneur became romantically linked to a string of some of Hollywood’s most eligible bachelors, including Future, Diddy, Lewis Hamilton, Michael B. Jordan, and more.

During his Summer Jam 2021 set, the rapper changed the lyrics, saying, “I took Lori Harvey off my wishlist/That’s the only thing I wanted for Christmas.”

In light of the history between the two and this recent tweet, fans assumed Meek’s tweet was another shot at her. Just a case of bad timing, perhaps?

Meek responded to the drama in a flurry of tweets, insisting that his post had nothing to do with Harvey or her new rumored beau. The rapper noted that not only are he and Idris “friends,” the line is, in fact, from PARTYNEXTDOOR’s newly released song, “Her Old Friends.”

Meek believes that gossip sites like the ShadeRoom have “ruined many friendships and families,” and said he tries to “stay away from people that live in those comments they be secretly miserable!”

Meek Mill Denies Dissing Lori Harvey, Calls Damson Idris His “Real Friend”

Not only is it Lori Harvey’s birthday, but she has made it Instagram official with Damson Idris. There have been rumors about whether these two were privately dating, and this recent revelation has caught the attention of the public. Meek Mill found himself in the middle of controversy after he sent a simple tweet that quickly went viral.

“Y’all let that gal f#%k anybody 🛝,” he stated before the internet went wild. Quickly, the Philadelphia rapper was accused of shading Harvey. On “Going Bad” with Drake in 2018, Meek rapped: “I got Lori Harvey on my wish list (that’s Lori) / That’s the only thing I want for Christmas (true story, uh).”

As social media often does, Meek Mill was also ridiculed over his post. However, he returned to vehemently deny speaking about Harvey. He claimed he was referencing PartNextDoor’s song, “Her Old Friends.”

“They really got that pr sh*t on smash lol they confusing meeee,” Meek also wrote. “It’s sad they got our people confused on high levels or these gotta be bots it’s no way people got that dumbed down.”

Further, he mentioned just being pardoned by Governor Tom Wolf, as well as donating $7 million to Philadelphia schools alongside Kevin Hart.

“I don’t pay them blogs and they gotta post me daily with great news,” the rapper also added. “Them sites based off black hatred they even caught me by replying … but bro my real friend and shawty not in my world they pushing black hatred lol them blogs are for ‘narcissism use only.’”

Then, Meek mentioned The Shade Room.

“Damson my real friend … the shade room posted and made it as I’m coming at him and his lady tf,” he said. “These sites ruined many friendships and families …seeing all that negativity you become that! I stay away from people that live in those comments they be secretly miserable!”

The outlet caught the tweet and shared their more positive headlines about Meek. Still, he was unmoved. Check out more from the rapper below.
