Meagan Good reflected on the death of her godfather, NFL legend Jim Brown, on Instagram, Sunday. The late Cleveland Browns running back passed away at the age of 87 on Thursday. In her post, she shared several pictures of herself with Brown while reflecting on the impact he had on her.
“I hate post about death. .. so I’ll make this one about Life,” Good began, before calling Brown her “Godpop,” “mentor,” and “bestfriend.” She added that Brown changed the trajectory of her life.

Jim Brown’s wife, Monique, confirmed his passing in a social media post on Thursday. She revealed that he “passed peacefully” in their home in Los Angeles. “To the world he was an activist, actor, and football star,” she wrote. “To our family he was a loving and wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. Our hearts are broken…”
Despite his painfully public fall from grace earlier this year, Jonathan Majors seems to be doing okay. Sources have said several of his close friends and colleagues are keeping their distance from the embattled actor after he was slammed with assault allegations a few months ago. Nevertheless, he seems to have struck up a new romance – this one with Meagan Good. On Saturday (May 20), the world got its first glimpse at the new couple. They certainly weren’t shy about holding hands at the airport as paparazzi cameras snapped away.
As Page Six reports, Majors and Good were headed from New York City to Los Angeles yesterday. They seemed to be in good spirits on their way to their flight, grabbing a bite to eat and happily chatting away with each other the entire time. Seeing as the Lovecraft Country star is being viewed in an unflattering light right now, he opted to keep a low profile in a hoodie, sweatpants, a hat, and sunglasses. The California-born starlet also chose comfort, pairing leggings with a red tee, Balmain cap, sunnies, and white sneakers.

The Manhattan District Attorney’s office charged Majors with multiple misdemeanor counts of assault and harassment back in March. Documents previously obtained by PEOPLE show his accuser told police that the actor allegedly “[struck] her about the face with an open hand, causing substantial pain and a laceration behind her ear,” and allegedly grabbed her hand and neck “causing bruising and substantial pain.”
Majors’ lawyer Priya Chaudhry denied the allegations. She also claimed to have provided “irrefutable evidence” that the alleged victim “is lying” about the facts of the case. “Yet this false case continues, the woman’s claimed location shifts, and her story morphs,” Chaudhry said in the statement. “This is a witch hunt against Jonathan Majors, driven by baseless claims. Instead of dismissing the allegations in the face of the woman’s clear lies, the DA has adjusted the charges to match the woman’s new lies.”
After the first woman came forward, several more victims have gone public with abuse allegations and are cooperating with the Manhattan District Attorney’s office. In the wake of the news, several movie projects dropped him. His public relations firm also “stepped away” from having him as a client. Prior to the allegations, Majors starred alongside Michael B.
