Meagan Good is reportedly providing support to disgraced actor Jonathan Majors as the two’s relationship has turned romantic, according to PEOPLE. The news comes amid several assault and harassment allegations made against the former Marvel actor.

“Meagan and Jonathan have maintained a friendship for some time,” the source said told the outlet. “Meagan has shown considerable support towards him,” they added, referencing the recent allegations. “It seems their relationship has developed further from that point.” Prior to dating Majors, Good was married to DeVon Franklin for nine years. The two filed for divorce in December 2021.

The Manhattan District Attorney’s office charged Majors with multiple misdemeanor counts of assault and harassment back in March. Documents previously obtained by PEOPLE show his accuser told police that the actor allegedly “[struck] her about the face with an open hand, causing substantial pain and a laceration behind her ear,” and allegedly grabbed her hand and neck “causing bruising and substantial pain.”

Majors’ lawyer Priya Chaudhry denied the allegations. She also claimed to have provided “irrefutable evidence” that the alleged victim “is lying” about the facts of the case. “Yet this false case continues, the woman’s claimed location shifts, and her story morphs,” Chaudhry said in the statement. “This is a witch hunt against Jonathan Majors, driven by baseless claims. Instead of dismissing the allegations in the face of the woman’s clear lies, the DA has adjusted the charges to match the woman’s new lies.”

After the first woman came forward, several more victims have gone public with abuse allegations and are cooperating with the Manhattan District Attorney’s office. In the wake of the news, several movie projects dropped him. His public relations firm also “stepped away” from having him as a client. Prior to the allegations, Majors starred alongside Michael B. Jordan in Creed III. He also appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Kang the Conqueror.

Generations collided in late March when TMZ reported that rapper NLE Choppa had shot his shot with Meagan Good. The story was full of drama and scandal as Jason Lee called Good for Choppa, only for Good to seemingly hang up. Speculation made its way around the social sphere, with many calling out Choppa for being a “simp”. Meanwhile, neither party had spoken publicly about the call.

So what happened? Did NLE Choppa get rejected? Did he and Lee call Good back? And most importantly, did Good hang up on a simp? For several weeks, speculation has been rife online. Thankfully, a TMZ street interview caught up with Good to get the full story of what happened. Good Didn’t Hang Up On Choppa

TMZ recently caught up with Meagan Good and the first thing they asked was more details about the NLE Choppa call. “I did not,” Good clarified when asked if she hung up on Choppa, “It got disconnected. My mom called and then I called back,” Good continued. The actress, best known for roles in likes of Cousin Skeeter and Shazam!, had nothing but good things to say about NLE Choppa. “He’s a lovely young man. I hate that so many people tried to drag him and make it seem like he was simping. No, he was very sweet, very very respectful.”

However, the call back did not result in a romance blossoming. “He’s just too young for me,” the 41-year-old Good said of the 20-year-old rapper. NLE Choppa just had a chance to shoot his shot with Meagan Good while on The Jason Lee Show. Moreover, it seems like the Memphis rapper was playing a game of “Smash or Pass” with the host, during which the actress’ name came up. Furthermore, Choppa proudly and quickly pulled out the “Smash” cardboard sign, gushing about her beauty and how long he’s liked her. Not only that, but Lee actually pulled his phone up and called Good, which got the “Shotta Flow” MC incredibly excited. “I can be a preacher, all that, whatever she want me to be,” he remarked as the phone rang.

Eventually, the Stomp The Yard star answered, and Lee explained the situation, saying that a rapper almost fell out of his chair for her. Actress Meagan Good has been in a press run for her new show Harlem and she recently shared that she’s ready to settle down and have children.

The 41-year-old beauty said she put off having children in her 20s and 30s to focus on her acting career. Meagan revealed she’s ready to have kids whether she’s married or not. She admitted she previously considered having a baby when she was married to preacher DeVon Franklin. They previously discussed their journey with freezing her eggs and shared how her outlook on motherhood had changed. “When you say you’re not sure you want to be a mom, people look at you like you’re a bad person,” said the director and actress to Romper. “As if something’s wrong with you. But I was never really that girl who said, “I can’t wait to get married,” “I can’t wait to be a mother.” I just was very much a tomboy, and I started my career so young that I’d always been very business-oriented.”

Unfortunately their divorce was finalized in June 2022 after 10 years of marriage.

“I’m in a place where I know that I want to be a mother — married or not. Whatever happens in this next season in the act of life,” she said.
