J. Cole’s Manager Responds To Fans Pleading For Shows In Bigger Markets

There have been plenty of truly massive tours this year across all genres of music. Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Travis Scott, and more have been rocking stages all across the globe. Drake is also among those names, but now he is going back for seconds after dropping For All The Dogs. While this would still be a great thing for music fans to have Drizzy go back on tour solo, J. Cole joining him just makes it all the more special.

It was announced just a handful of days ago as the It’s All A Blur Tour — Big As The What? Tour. Drake is going to make up some dates from his first tour according to HipHopDX. Both J. Cole and Drizzy are hitting the road in Denver on January 18. Then, it will end in Birmingham, Alabama in late March. While fans are stoked some are scratching their heads as to why the tour is focused on heading to small cities. Well, Cole’s manager, Ibrahim “IB” Hamad, addressed those questions.

J. Cole’s Manager Expresses Excitement To Go Back To Smaller Markets

In the tweets above, you can see that he wanted to make one thing clear. That focus was to show love to places they performed at when they were getting started. IB replied to one fan asking why there are no Washington D.C. shows. “I feel your pain [laughing emoji] but this is not a major city run.” He continues, “The run is for the secondary market we don’t get to go to as much and do shows like how we use to. All Love to DC though.” Then, he replied to those thanking him for bringing the stars to those who cannot make it to other locations. “Gotta pull back up to some of those markets we use to grind through on the come up. Can’t wait to see those cities again, been a minute.”

What are your initial thoughts on J. Cole’s manager, Ibrahim “IB” Hamad, response to the fans asking about why fans in bigger cities are not getting tour dates? Do you think they are making a mistake by going to smaller cities? Are you going to any of the tour dates? We would like to know what you have to say about all of this. Max B’s Manager Reveals How His Sentence Was Reduced By 55 Years

During a recent interview with Faded & Fit, Max B’s manager Ty Black opened up about the performer’s prison sentence. In 2009, he was sentenced to 75 years behind bars. In 2016, he took a 20-year plea deal for aggravated manslaughter. Black spoke on the 55-year reduction, and sticking by Max B’s side throughout his prison stay.

According to Black, he decided to stick out the rapper’s incarceration because of their close friendship. “That’s my brother,” he explained. “Why wouldn’t you?” He further described how when Max B wasn’t in jail, he “took care” of him. He adds that it wasn’t only a matter of the NYC rapper’s career for him, as the two of them were friends long before his success. “I didn’t care about the music at that time,” he says. “Gotta make sure he good, cause at the end of the day that’s my man. Cause Max took care of me when he was out, he put me in position.”

Ty Black Opens Up About Max B’s Prison Stay

According to Black, Max B’s sentence was reduced due to “ineffective [assistance] of counsel,” suggesting that his legal representation failed to meet minimum standards of competence. Though it remains unclear exactly when he’ll be released, earlier this year he claimed it would be soon.

He gave fans an update in May, revealing that he was nearing the end of his sentence. “Y’all know what it is. Shout out to the boy,” he said in a clip. “The birthday boy just checking in. You already know. Man, I’m feeling good… It’s almost over. Two more joints, n***a, I’m sliding out. Max Bigavell. 45, I feel good, look good. I taste good, I smell good, n***a.” What do you think of Max B’s manager speaking on his prison stay? How about his sentence getting reduced by 55 years? 2Pac’s Former Manager Recalls Discovering Him: “He Was It”

During a recent interview with Allison Kugel, 2Pac’s former manager Leila Steinberg opened up about the late performer’s early career. According to her, he was discovered because she was hunting for someone who was able to strike a middle ground, making topics of social justice palatable to young listeners. She says that upon first hearing the hitmaker’s poetry, she knew he was it.

“The reason 2Pac came about is because I kept saying, ‘Oh gosh, we need a rapper that is about social justice, that gets some of the same things [as me],’” Steinburg explained. “I kept looking for someone that was kind of like me. Someone who read like cr*zy and could tackle issues that we don’t talk about. Public Enemy was too radical. There were artists that were in hip hop that were using their voices, but they couldn’t penetrate the schools, because they were too extreme.

2Pac’s Former Manager Discusses His Early Career

“I was looking for somebody that could straddle these worlds like I could,” she added. “One day Luanda, who was one of our group members said there was a kid that just came from Baltimore, and that he was it. She’s the reason ‘Pac came to the group. He had lots of poems. Poems, lyrics… and from the first poem, I knew.”

Obviously, her inkling was correct, and he went on to become an icon ahead of his 1996 passing. 2Pac continues to be one of the most well-respected figures in the history of his genre, largely due to the complex issues he tackles in his music. Unfortunately, elsewhere in the interview Steinberg also recalled him signing to Death Row, revealing that she believes that was what cost him his life. According to her, he was then “exploited financially” by those around him, including the infamous Suge Knight. What do you think of how 2Pac was discovered? 2Pac Was “Exploited Financially” By Suge Knight, Feared For His Bodyguards’ Safety

During a recent interview, 2Pac’s former manager Leila Steinberg spoke on the final stretch of the late icon’s career, revealing that she believes he never wanted to sign to Death Row. According to her, he made the move out of desperation, and didn’t fully understand the consequences that would come along with it. She also says that people around the performer were taking advantage of him, namely, Suge Knight. “I don’t think, I know Tupac was exploited financially,” Steinberg explained. “I witnessed it.”

She continued, “I witnessed the direction of his career and the power people that didn’t want to hear my voice or my resistance. I did choose to stop managing him, but I stayed close and there were people making a ton of money from the beginning of his career until the end of his career.”

2Pac’s Former Manager Believes Death Row Cost Him His Life

“Tupac did make some money, but he didn’t have access to it,” she continued. “At the end, Suge controlled all of it. Millions we made. Tupac did own some houses. He saw a million, but what’s a million? It’s crumbs. There were hundreds of millions made off of Tupac. There are people who own homes and property now off of Tupac money, and it’s not those of us that were there grinding and working.” Sadly, Steinberg thinks that 2Pac’s decision to sign to Death Row is what ultimately cost him his life.

2Pac was shot in a drive-by in September of 1996, and died in the hospital days later. According to a witness testimony in Keefe D’s trial, he was looking out for others, even after being fatally injured. “Get on the ground. They’re going to shoot you,” he recalled 2Pac telling his bodyguards. Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates on 2Pac.

Flavor Flav’s Career Controlled By His Manager & Girlfriend, Sources Allege

Flavor Flav’s iconic status in the rap game doesn’t mean he’s immune to manipulation, various sources reportedly alleged to AllHipHop. Moreover, these accusations came against his new manager, Rhiannon Rae Ellis, and his new girlfriend, Kelly Salvaggio. Apparently, the Public Enemy icon’s fans and sources supposedly close to him are expressing a lot of concern over these new influences in his life. Not only that, but fans rumored that this lines up with the last time that he spoke to his youngest son, which happened over a year and a half ago. The two were starting to form a strong connection when Ellis and Salvaggio intervened and, according to source reports, strayed him away from family.

Furthermore, a lot of this doubt around the potential I’m A Celebrity star‘s career stems from his manger’s credentials. Ellis claims to be a Harvard University graduate, but she only has small degrees and certifications from the institution’s often looked-down-upon Extension Studies program. In fact, these are claims and boasts that she makes on Flavor Flav’s own Instagram page. While this could technically violate Harvard’s code of conduct due to possible misrepresentation, it’s also a relatively small detail that is impossible to determine when it comes to its actual impact.

On the other hand, his new girlfriend Kelly Salvaggio might be the reason why the hip-hop star is such a big Swiftie. Fans took a look at her IG page to find evidence that supported this, which contributed to the narrative that she controls him to a certain degree. “I was surprised when Flavor Flav asked me to make a custom clock, not for himself, but to gift this to someone else… TAYLOR SWIFT!!!!” she captioned a post about a custom clock in the MC’s style that she made. “My daughters and I had a fun TIME creating the perfect Eras Tour Clock. What a special moment for everyone!”

Meanwhile, another allegation of exploitation stems from a picture of Flav washing Salvaggio’s car. She thanked him for it on social media, and it’s unclear if it’s a joke or if she really meant to allude to grunt work. Also, she uploaded a lot of pictures with celebrities online that she met because of the 64-year-old. Of course, this is all purely speculative and theoretical, but the dots are there for folks to connect or dismiss for themselves. Let us know what you think about all this in the comments and stay logged into HNHH for more news and the latest updates on Flavor Flav.

J. Cole Didn’t Diss NBA YoungBoy On New Verse, Manager Ib Claims

Hold your horses, folks; it looks like the apparent feud between J. Cole and NBA YoungBoy is more one-sided than people assumed. For those unaware, fans recently went wild for the former’s performance on the track “The Secret Recipe.” with Lil Yachty. While they assumed that he actually sent shots at YB in his verse, some more trustworthy authority figures cleared the air. Moreover, Dreamville manager and close friend of Cole’s, Ibrahim “Ib” Hamad, took to Twitter to address these speculations. He doesn’t understand how people drew this connection, although it’s not as unreasonable as he paints.

“I’m pretty sure this is [cap emoji],” Ib wrote on the social media platform. “Not sure how y’all heard that Cole verse and put that together, impressive [crying-laughing emoji].” Here’s what J. Cole actually rapped on the song that people think took aim at YoungBoy. “N***as makin’ threats and I laugh, that’s ’cause you ain’t a threat,” the North Carolina MC spit. “Don’t ask how I feel ’bout no rappers, s**t, they okay, I guess / Incomin’ call, press the button, the one that say accept / He FaceTime to ask for a feature and saw the face of death.”

Ib Denies Assumption That J. Cole Dissed NBA YoungBoy

Meanwhile, people think this connects back to the Baton Rouge hitmaker’s bars for J. Cole on his track “F**k The Industry, Pt. 2.” On it, YB took aim at a lot of different rappers, as the title suggests, but the feud with Cole might seem bizarre. Regardless, these more direct shots also center around features. “J a h*e, that n***a played it cold like he was gon’ do a feature,” YoungBoy rapped on the track. “So I texted his line a muscle sign, I swear it’s gon’ be nice to meet you.”

Of course, it’s likely that this intervention from Ib will kill this dead in the water. After all, the 4 Your Eyez Only lyricist is well-known for going back on rap beefs, especially with the newer generation outside of his style and approach. As such, maybe the Never Broke Again leader holds some contempt, but it looks like Cole isn’t reciprocating anything. With that in mind, stay posted on HNHH for the latest news and updates on YoungBoy and J. Cole.

03 Greedo Rumors That He Was Murdered Proven False By His Manager

03 Greedo fans scrambled online after rumors surfaced from unknown sources that he had been shot in Watts, Los Angeles, expressing their heartbreak, shock, and hopes that it wasn’t true. Fortunately, it seems like these speculations were disproved by none other than the rapper’s manager, who allegedly responded to someone asking them whether these rumors were true via text. In addition, multiple online outlets reported that this was fake news, although people are still reaction frantically to it. Moreover, Greedo hasn’t posted anything addressing this on his social media as of writing this article. We still need solid confirmation, but it seems like people clarified this hysteria quickly.

Furthermore, this hit fans especially hard because the West Coast MC dropped a new song this week called “Rich On Grape Street.” As such, many spent their time on social media expressing how much they liked it, and he even had a recent show. In fact, 03 Greedo will play tonight (Saturday, August 26) in Colorado, so perhaps that will be what truly confirms this as fake news. Regardless, fans are still concerned online and just want him to send a sign online.

03 Greedo’s Manager Allegedly Disproves Rumors Of His Death

Meanwhile, this news would’ve stacked up in grim and tragic fashion against recent comments the 36-year-old made. While on No Jumper with Adam22, 03 Greedo spoke on dealing with loss while he still found himself behind bars. “Must have felt like f***ing torture,” Adam remarked, and Greedo elaborated. “I’m already going through the personal side of people dying,” he expressed. “Like aunties, family friends, or just losing like real close homies in the hood It was so much s**t.” Given that he served around five years in jail, these reflections hint at an often unspoken turmoil that happens when life passes you by and you can’t do anything from prison to change it.

Hopefully the Watts artist speaks out soon and puts his fans at ease, because there’s no solid confirmation either way. As a prominent, influential, and powerful rapper in his own right, many want to see him succeed after his incarcerated stint. Now, we must endure the wait and hope for the best. With that in mind, stay logged into HNHH for the latest news and updates on 03 Greedo.

Coolio’s Longtime Manager Takes Over His Estate With No Will In Sight

After no will was found, the fate of Coolio’s earthly possessions hung in the balance after his untimely passing. However, reports indicate that the court appointed control of his estate to his longtime manager Jarel “Jarez” Posey. According to RadarOnline, a Las Vegas judge approved of Posey’s petition of access to the “Gangsta’s Paradise” MC’s assets. More specifically, the court appointed him as a special administrator, meaning that they now tasked him with collecting residuals and taking charge of the estate’s financial matters.

In Posey’s petition, he took note of the fact that the estate was divided between his children due to lack of a will. However, he wanted to obtain appointment as executor to avoid “waste and/or loss of the personal property of [Coolio]. Specifically, the estate is believed to include personal property and demand deposit accounts, financial accounts, insurance policies and royalties, all of which need to be marshaled and protected on behalf of the estate.” In his opinion, the court must allow him to “access monies from Decedent’s personal property and accounts and the same shall be placed in the attorney’s IOLTA Trust Account until further ordered by the Court.”

According to the court documents in question, authorities approved all of Posey’s requests. With his proximity to Coolio in mind, the decision to entrust the estate with him is understandable. Despite that, questions arose when it comes to what his children will receive. Furthermore, it was Posey who told TMZ of the coroner’s report concerning the California rapper’s tragic loss. According to the medical official, he had a mixture of fentanyl, methamphetamines, and heroin in his system. Additional reports concerning the circumstances of his passing only make it that much more somber.

Still, Coolio’s legacy will live on far beyond his death, whether through his loved ones or his music. In fact, following his first posthumous release, fans are anticipating his posthumous album, LONG LIVE COOLIO. Reportedly, features on the full-length project include Treach of Naughty By Nature, Too $hort, and others. With that in mind, return to HNHH for the latest news and updates on Coolio.
