Machine Gun Kelly Gave Megan Fox A Thorny, Intentionally Painful Engagement Ring

Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox’s relationship is probably best described as intense. The two took things to a new level recently when they got engaged, and in a new Vogue interview, the pair discussed the proposal. They also talked about Fox’s ring, which was designed to be painful when removed.

Kelly said of the ring:

“It’s a thoroughbred Colombian emerald, with no treatment. It was just carved into the teardrop, straight out of the mine. And the diamond was directly from Stephen [Webster]. The concept is that the ring can come apart to make two rings. When it’s together, it’s held in place by a magnet. So you see how it snaps together? And then it forms an obscure heart. And you see this right here? The bands are actually thorns. So if she tries to take it off, it hurts… Love is pain!”

He also explained why he and Fox decided to release the video of their proposal, saying, “We released it to control the narrative. As opposed to someone just catching a weird cell phone picture of a ring on our hand and being like, ‘Whoa!’ But yeah, I didn’t expect it. I just recorded it on my cell phone. And it wasn’t like we had photographers or anything. It was just like me setting my phone against a cup.”

Megan Fox Shared A Video Of MGK Proposing To Her And Claims They ‘Drank Each Other’s Blood’

Megan Fox and MGK have become one of the world’s most talked about couples in the short time they’ve been dating. Whether it’s Megan’s bonkers quotes about being in love with MGK, his assertion “I am weed” during their first meeting, or the fact that Machine Gun Kelly, born Colson Baker, had a poster of Megan in his bedroom before they were together, this pair continues to take the cake. There’s no one like them — and most of us consider that to be a good thing.

So if you were thinking there was a chance their performance of coupledom was going to end any time soon, guess again. Today Megan shared a video of Colson proposing to her under a Banyan tree, noting that the couple had sat under the tree in July of 2020, around the time their relationship began, and “asked for magic.” She also concludes the proposal caption by noting “and then we drank each other’s blood.” So there’s that. Check out the video and her full caption below.

“In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree. We asked for magic. We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time. Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma. Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him. And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes. …and then we drank each other’s blood. 1.11.22.”

‘Jeopardy!’ Contestants (Even Champ Amy Schneider) Drew A Total Blank On A Machine Gun Kelly Question (That Had Viewers Rolling)

Jeopardy! has been roaring back into regular-play action following the two-week professor tournament, but Monday night’s episode got a little strange. Don’t worry, Amy Schneider kicked overall ass again (she’s up to over $700,000 in winnings, and she’s the current top-earning woman in the show’s history and fourth overall champ), but one question stumped everyone while amusing the hell out of the audience.

Here’s what happened: Ken Jennings was doing his co-hosting thing when he dropped this question: “The stage name of this rapper and actor gets shortened to MGK.” Even Amy drew a total blank, which led Jennings to declare, “Not fans of Machine Gun Kelly, apparently.” This was the case despite the face of MGK (real name Colson Baker) flashing onto the screen, and still, no dice.

Yep, there was “[n]o love” for MGK, and “Ken was livid” is way too funny.

There’s been no word yet from the Blonde Don on the subject, but surely, he will recover from this slight. Heck, not even prolific tweeter Amy has addressed the matter, but hey, you can’t win all the questions. She will return to defend her champ status on Wednesday night. In the meantime, the floodgates have opened over the MGK slight (although some dads and moms out there apparently know the drill).

And here’s a future Jeopardy! champ to help us roll outta here.

Machine Gun Kelly Recalls The Time He Accidentally Stabbed Himself While Trying To Impress Megan Fox

Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly’s relationship never fails to make headlines whether they’re making out on the red carpet or sharing some very confusing pickup lines used at the start of their relationship. They’ve been dating for a few months now and are so comfortable with each other that MGK knows Fox’s bucket list includes getting abducted by aliens. But, as any relationship goes, they still tried impressing each other when they first got together. MGK even went so far as to accidentally stab himself while trying to look cool in front of Fox.

MGK recently sat down for an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon where he recalled the story. The musician started off by explaining the fateful night that started with him severely bruising a bone in his butt and ended with a knife lodged in his hand. It all went down right when he and Fox had first started dating and he was playing a filmed beer pong match with Post Malone. MGK entered the beer pong arena by sliding down a staircase railing and he failed to see a giant spike at the bottom — which was obviously very painful. But since he was trying to act tough before the game, the musician played it off and acted like he wasn’t in pain.

MGK impressively ended up winning the beer pong game (he later found out he had bruised the bone in his butt called a coccyx) and went home with Fox. To try to impress her, he picked up an engraved knife that was gifted to him and tossed it in the air with the intention of catching it without looking. “I threw it up and it came down and stuck in my hand,” he said, showing Fallon the scar he still has to this day.

Machine Gun Kelly Says Megan Fox’s Bucket List Includes Being ‘Abducted By A UFO’

Whether it’s packing on the PDA on the red carpet or carrying around a vile of the other’s blood, Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly’s relationship always manages to make its way into headlines. As the new celebrity “it” couple, the two were tapped by GQ to test their relationship in the publication’s popular series, GQ Couple’s Quiz.

The quiz is designed to see how well each person knows their partner. They’re asked a series of questions that gauges how well they listen to each other, like asking what their favorite TV show is or how many tattoos they have. During the segment, Kelly reveals a bizarre tidbit: Fox really hopes she’ll be abducted by an alien one day.

Fox poses the question, “What’s something on my bucket list?” Kelly immediately responds: “To be abducted by a UFO.” Fox simply nods her head and gives Kelly two points for answering the question correctly, but either celebrity explains this wish any further. However, later in the segment, the two reminiscence on a vacation they took in Bora Bora, saying they took psychedelic mushrooms and were convinced they spotted a UFO in the sky.

Of course, Kelly and Fox are far from the only celebrities who are into UFOs. Earlier this week, Demi Lovato discussed her upcoming Peacock show Unidentified With Demi Lovato, which sees her investigating UFOs and extraterrestrial life. In an interview about the new series, Lovato stated that she believes the term “alien” is a “derogatory” term for extraterrestrial life. “I think that we have to stop calling them aliens because ‘aliens’ is a derogatory term for anything,” she said. “That’s why I like to call them ETs! So yeah, that’s a little tidbit. A little information that I learned.”

Machine Gun Kelly Leaves Nothing To The Imagination While Describing His First Kiss With Megan Fox

Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly officially went public with their relationship in 2020 and have been making headlines for turning heads with their PDA ever since. While Fox has made it clear their relationship is intensely passionate, comparing it to a tsunami and a forest fire, the two also detailed some of the more tender moments in their love life in a recent interview — like their first kiss.

The couple sat down with British GQ for a joint cover interview about being “Hollywood’s hottest new power couple.” During the conversation, the two detailed the beginning of their relationship. After meeting on the set of Midnight In The Switchgrass, Fox and Kelly would text all the time. Eventually, their text conversations turned into three-hour phone calls. “Did you ever talk to a girl for three hours on the phone in your whole life?” Fox teased Kelly in the interview. “Were you like, ‘How the f*ck am I going to talk to her?’”

Kelly responded to Fox’s quip by recalling their first kiss. “It felt like five minutes, so it didn’t even feel like three hours,” he said. “Even our first kiss, she wouldn’t kiss me. We just put our lips right in front of each other and breathed each other’s breath and then she just left.”

Fox added that her reason for resisting the kiss came from her wanting to protect her heart, even though she knew she was already falling hard. “[I was] definitely open [to] love, but I did not anticipate walking right into my soulmate like that,” she said. “I was obviously over the way I had been living, and those paths lined up, those doors opened. It was [as if] all the obstacles that had kept us apart all those years [had been removed] and we were able to finally intersect.”

The couple also described their first date, which sounds like a scene from a teenage coming-of-age film. Kelly picked up Fox in a convertible Cadillac and they listened to Ella Fitzgerald as they drove to a canyon’s edge. A friend was waiting with a picnic in hand and a blanket with a “sea of roses.” The date ended with them going on a rooftop, listening to pop-punk, and making out.

Machine Gun Kelly Plots His Revenge On Pete Davidson For His ‘SNL’ Impression

This past weekend’s Kim Kardashian-hosted episode of Saturday Night Live was eventful. A major part of that was due to references to Kardashian’s famous connections, like when she joked about her Kanye West divorce in the opening monologue. The sketch in which she played her sister Kourtney in a judge TV show called The People’s Kourt was a goldmine for cultural references and connections, even outside of Kardashian’s realm.

For example, there was a scene where Pete Davidson impersonated his good friend (and recent SNL musical guest) Machine Gun Kelly. In the sketch, Davidson and Chloe Fineman (playing Megan Fox) poke fun at Kelly and Fox’s frequent and intense PDA with a tongue-entwining kissing display.

Naturally, Kelly caught wind of the sketch and started plotting his revenge. In a tweet tagging Saturday Night Live, Kelly re-shared a clip of Davidson’s impression and wrote, “i think it’s time for me to come on the show as Pete.”

Meanwhile, a month ago, Davidson revisited a moment from Kelly’s aforementioned SNL appearance, when he and Kelly fell off the stage together during the episode’s closing credits. Davidson explained to Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show that Kelly tried to pick him up, which, due to an injury Kelly was going with, didn’t exactly work out.

Kim Kardashian Turns Into A Judge And Rules On Family Drama On ‘SNL’

With Saturday Night Live’s 47th season underway, Kim Kardashian assumed the duty of host for its most recent episode. She began the night with an entertaining monologue that was received well by audience members. Later on in the night, Kim returned to participate in a courtroom sketch that found her taking the role of a judge while simultaneously playing her sister, Kourtney Kardashian. In the sketch, Kim somewhat delivers decisions on family matters which includes Kylie Jenner’s “overdue” baby, Kendall Jenner’s lack of drama, and Kanye West’s tweets.

In the sketch, Kris Jenner and Khloe Kardashian appear as themselves while other SNL cast members and guests assumed the role of Kardashian family members and friends. Halsey appeared as Kendall Jenner, Melissa Villaseñor as Kylie Jenner, Heidi Gardner as Kim Kardashian, and Mikey Day played Travis Barker. Chris Redd also appeared as Kanye West, Pete Davidson as Machine Gun Kelly, and Chloe Fineman as Megan Fox. All in all, it was an enjoyable sketch that poked fun at the Kardashian family and their friends.

Kim’s monologue was highlighted by her making jokes about her and Kanye West’s divorce earlier this year. “I mean, I married the best rapper of all time. Not only that, he’s the richest Black man in America, a talented, legit genius, who gave me four incredible kids,” she says. “So when I divorced him, you have to know it came down to just one thing: his personality.”

Machine Gun Kelly Says His ‘Born With Horns’ Album Will Be ‘More Guitar-Heavy’ And Lyrically ‘Deeper’

Machine Gun Kelly has found great success since he fully pivoted into the punk-rock lane with his 2020 album, Tickets To My Downfall. The project, which arrived after his rap-rock album, Hotel Diablo, became his first No. 1 album and his first Platinum-selling album. While some, like Slipknot’s Corey Taylor, are not too fond of his position in the rock world, Kelly is content on journeying further into the genre with his upcoming album, Born With Horns.

According to Billboard, during a recent interview on Sunday Today With Willie Geist, Kelly revealed what fans can expect on the new project, which features work with Travis Barker.

“It feels more guitar-heavy for sure, lyrically it definitely goes deeper – but I never like to do anything the same,” Kelly said. “Every album is a juxtaposition of the last album. So I went and studied ‘Tickets [To My Downfall]’, and I heard the bright sound that I had, and for this album I just turned the lights off.”

He added, “I’m not scared anymore, there’s nothing holding me back from being my true self – and my true self can’t be silenced, can’t be restrained. It’s a force, it’s like a hurricane. Can’t stop that, it just goes until it feels like stopping, and I don’t feel like stopping anytime soon.”

Kelly shared “Papercuts,” the lead single for Born With Horns, back in August with a Cole Bennett-directed video that featured an appearance from Travis Barker.

The entirety of Kelly’s interview on Sunday Today With Willie Geist premieres will air Sunday at 8 AM EST on NBC.
