Tyler The Creator Praises His Early Work & His Evolution While Reflecting On “CHROMAKOPIA”

Tyler The Creator’s new album CHROMAKOPIA is the No. 1 album in the world right now by a lot of metrics, potentially nabbing the top spot on the Billboard 200. Moreover, he’s celebrating that success with the fans and basking in the moment with gratitude and happiness. The Hawthorne native held various small shows since the LP’s release, including a Brooklyn show on Saturday (November 2). While reflecting on his new project’s massive success and on his fans’ support, he spoke on how he still appreciates his early work despite the long, mature road home he’s championed since those early Odd Future days.

“The number one album in the world right now, man,” Tyler, The Creator expressed concerning CHROMAKOPIA. “Real growth, though. Real growth, bro. I’m not – Listen, I didn’t pick this s**t up ’cause it was cute. I’ve been making music since before I had hair on my d**k, bro. I love this s**t, always have. I think n***as mix my humor up with, like, a lack of artistic integrity. You look at my early s**t, it was artistic integrity in everything. N***as was funny and goofy and trolling. But it had that artistic integrity. So to keep that, and for the s**t to just continue to do this, 13 years in my career, n***a, how amazing is that? So much gratitude sits under this hubris and this confidence and what they call arrogance. But I really put in the work. So everybody who listened to the album, again, thank you so much.”

Tyler The Creator Thanks Fans During CHROMAKOPIA Show

Of course, the old T is still in there, even in ways that might trigger casual listeners. During another CHROMAKOPIA show in Boston this week, Tyler, The Creator mockingly called out “racist-a**” Swifties who brought up his old lyrics. “They gon’ bring out the old me,” he joked.

Elsewhere, CHROMAKOPIA‘s commercial success despite its Monday release paired with a lot of praiseful fan reception. Regardless of your stance on all this, it seems like Tyler, The Creator isn’t going away anytime soon, whether his decade-plus-long bravado or its matured, focused evolution. Boosie Badazz Wants To Know How Yung Miami Would Respond If Her Son Wanted His Nails Painted

It’s no secret that Boosie Badazz is going to voice his opinions on things, especially when it comes to sensitive topics. One of those we all know about is his views on the LGBTQ+ community. Overall, he claims to have no issues with people that associate themselves with it. That’s at least what he told former NFL quarterback Cam Newton on his 4th & 1 podcast. Where he draws the line with it is how it’s affecting the “younger generation”. He did pull out the pretty lame defensive tactic of saying that he’s got gay people in his life, so how could he be against it.

Allys and participants have been vocal back to him that they don’t understand his constant chatter. But if you have noticed, Boosie doesn’t seem to want to put it down. In fact, earlier this month, the Louisiana rapper tweeted, “IF A MAN IS PAINTING HIS NAILS, ITS EQUAL TO A MAN WEARING A THONG UP HIS AXX #realtalk get it sexy get it sexy”. His controversial nature regarding this discussion is why Yung Miami brought him on to a live version of her nominated podcast, Caresha Please.

To no surprise, they were having a debate about the effects of the LGBTQ+ community on the kids. However, Boosie posed a difficult scenario to her that would be challenging for any parent to go through. Miami does have a son, Jai, so he asked the mother of two what is he asks, “Momma! I wanna get my nails done”. She sort of dodges the question, replying, “I feel like you have to accept people for who they are”. Miami then goes on to correlate Boosie’s Southern Baptist upbringing to his more traditional views. Overall, Boosie seemed to agree with that point and at the end of the day, it should be nobody’s business but their own when it comes to how they want to raise their kids.

What are your thoughts on Boosie Badazz asking Yung Miami if she would allow her son to get his nails done? Do you think this is a problem parents have in America? Did Miami answer the question in the right way? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Offset Hilariously Slams Bra To The Ground After Fan Throws It On Stage

Offset is someone who has certainly gone through his fair share of controversies as it pertains to his relationship with Cardi B. Overall, the main problem he has faced has been allegations of cheating. In fact, the two have broken up numerous times in the past. Although they always end up getting back together, there is this consistent feeling that eventually, they will be done with one another for good. That day has yet to happen, and as of right now, they appear to be going strong. Hopefully, that is able to last for the long haul.

Of course, as a famous artist with a lot of influence, there are always women throwing themselves at Offset. This can be especially true at his shows, where there are lots of women in attendance. In the video below from The Shade Room, you can see some of the antics that Offset has to deal with. For instance, while on stage, a woman decided to throw a bra at him. In fact, she had pretty good aim as the bra hit him right in the face. However, he did not skip a beat as he took the bra and threw it directly on the ground with force.

Offset Has No Time For This

This led to lots of reactions online. Mostly, people were a bit stunned that women still do things like this at shows. Blueface Trolls Soulja Boy Further By Stepping On One Of His Plaques During Performance: Watch

One of Blueface’s many beefs continues. The California hitmaker and the one who claims to be the originator of every trend in hip-hop, Soulja Boy, are still trading shots. The most recent artist to make a jab was indeed the “Thotiana” writer. A couple of days ago, Blueface hopped on a remix of his lady’s hit song. His verse on Jaidyn Alexis’ “Barbie” raised a lot of people’s eyebrows.

He also roped Offset, Cardi B, and Chrisean Rock into the lyrics. “Offset upset Cardi got the update / Soulja Boy mad he found out his b**** f****d late.” The latter refers to Blueface continuing to tease the “Crank That” songwriter that he was messing around with his baby momma before Soulja got linked. On top of that, the two even scheduled to squabble back in late December.

Predictably, it never went down, but Blueface may really be pushing things to the brink. In the video above from No Jumper‘s Instagram, the attention-seeker is stepping all over a Soulja Boy plaque. Blue was performing a show at a smaller venue recently and the video shows him walking over to it. He then proceeds to rap while stomping on it. Honestly, it is a race to see who will take Blueface on first.

What are your initial thoughts on this latest video of Blueface stepping on a Soulja Boy plague at his recent show? Do you think this will lead Soulja to respond at all, why or why not? Who will win this beef and why? Did Blueface take it a little too far? Will this be the final straw that leads to both of these guys fighting each other? JT Falls In Heels At City Girls Show, Yung Miami Saves The Day

Besides being the strongest lyricist of the two City Girls, JT is also the rap diva with a fashion education that she uses to keep herself looking fly. Her taste certainly isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but that hasn’t stopped the Florida native from moving confidently on and off stage. During a recent performance, the “No Bars” hitmaker wore sky-high heels that unfortunately made her fall to the floor while performing on stage. Thankfully, her partner in rhyme Yung Miami was beside her to hype her up and get their show back on track.

In the clip below, JT seems to lose her footing as “Take Yo Man” blares over the speakers. After the City Girl awkwardly stumbles backward and recovers, we see Caresha Brownlee crossing over to help make sure she’s okay before getting back to spitting into the microphone. “I love how Miami went to help her and hyped her back up. Real friend shiii! 👏🏾,” one Instagram user observed in @theneighborhoodtalk’s comments.

JT Might Tumble Sometimes, But She Always Gets Back Up

“The way I would’ve went backstage, gon head Caresha just finish it 🤣🤣😭😭😭😭,” someone else quipped, praising JT for not letting a small fall embarrass her. As we move into 2024, it’s unclear exactly what the “Act Up” artists are planning to share with their fans, though the 31-year-old has hinted at her desire to release more solo music as she continues to grow as an artist.

At this point in their careers, Yung Miami and JT are no strangers to criticism from hip-hop heads. Still, they never let the bad attitudes of others get them down – instead, they use it to fuel their fires and become even better at their craft. Usher Tests Common And Jennifer Hudson’s Relationship As He Serenades Her At His Show: Watch

Usher’s 2023 has been quite the rollercoaster, to say the least. The Texas R&B legend has been in the headlines for various reasons, both controversial and non-controversial. Over this past summer, he was performing with actress and artist Keke Palmer in the audience. Her man at the time, Darius Jackson, was not in attendance. For Usher, that is the ultimate green light for him to serenade someone. It led to a lot of debating online as to who should be held accountable.

It wound up being the tip of the iceberg for that relationship, as things have gotten uglier for Keke and Darius. On the flip side, Usher is making a big return to music as well. He is going to be headlining the Super Bowl 58 Halftime Show. Following that, a brand-new album will be out on the day of the game as well. n the meantime, he is wrapping up his residency in Las Vegas right before the game comes to Allegiant Stadium.

Usher Brings His Performance To The Couple

Some of the recent celebrities to come to support Usher were Jennifer Hudson and Common. Rumors circulating that these two being together began to heat up in July 2022. Jennifer sort of confirmed they were a thing in August this year. As they had nice VIP seats, Usher strolled his way over to them to perform. In the video from HipHopDX, he still decided to do what he had been doing by grabbing Hudson for a dance. Before doing so, Usher shouted out the couple. Both seemed okay with it as they were both all smiles throughout.

What are your initial thoughts on this video clip of Usher serenading Jennifer Hudson right in front of Common at his recent Las Vegas show? Do you think it was an awkward moment for them, or do you think it was all in good spirits? Why do you think Usher does this at his shows whenever he can? DDG Performs At Southern University, Crowd Responds With Indifference: Watch

DDG is someone who has been clowned quite a bit on the internet over the last few years. Overall, he is someone who went from being a YouTuber to a rapper. Although he has a lot of fans and substantial popularity, it has been hard for him to get any support amongst the broad spectrum of hip-hop fans. There are many out there who see him as “corny.” Moreover, there are those who feel like he isn’t good enough to be with Halle Bailey. Were it not for that relationship, perhaps people wouldn’t be so hard on him.

His most recent project was critically panned, mostly due to the fact that it contained the same song remixed three times. Additionally, people don’t really care for his petty grievances that typically involve him being jealous of his girlfriend. As it turns out, these attitudes towards DDG extend to when he is performing in front of a live audience. We know this because recently, he performed at Southern University, and the crowd response was pretty awful.

DDG Has The Crowd Go Mild

In the video above, posted by The Jasmine Brand, DDG can be seen performing while the crowd is at a standstill. No one in the crowd seems to be excited about his presence, and they certainly don’t know any of the words. Although some are filming the show, there are others who look completely and utterly unimpressed. This clip is starting to go viral, and it is clear that the rapper isn’t too popular on the university circuit. Only time will tell whether or not he can turn it around.

Meanwhile, he is embroiled in Halle Bailey pregnancy rumors. This has subsequently led to more vitriol coming DDG’s way. Let us know your thoughts and feelings on the rapper, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from around the music world. Death Grips Walk Off Stage After Being Pelted With Glow Sticks

Death Grips is an experimental hip-hop group that is known for its wild songwriting and unorthodox instrumentals. Overall, the group is legendary for what it did during the 2010s. However, they haven’t dropped a single project since 2019’s “Year Of The Snitch.” Regardless, the band is currently touring, and fans have been excited to see them in action. Unfortunately, a lot of fans do not know hot to act. There have been plenty of fan incidents at concerts over the last year. Although this latest example is particularly worrisome.

In the video below, posted to Twitter, you can see MC Ride of Death Grips being pelted with objects. From glowsticks to phones, some of these objects even hit him square in the chest. Ride was understandably upset about this, and subsequently, the entire group ended the show early. According to USA Today, there is currently a Reddit thread in which numerous fans revealed what they saw at the show.

Death Grips Have Had Enough

“Someone threw a phone at them and Ride threw the mic on the ground and walked off and back,” a user wrote. “Someone threw a glowstick that hit him in the chest and he walked off, back and waiting for more. Another glowstick was thrown and they left. Fair is fair.” Another person spoke on MC Ride’s reactions, saying he was “clearly angry every time that happened so idk why folks kept doing it.” Needless to say, some people need to be taught concert etiquette before going out in public.

Hopefully, this entire thing makes people reconsider their actions. Furthermore, we hope this doesn’t discourage Death Grips from making a fully-fledged comeback. We would love some new music from them. Let us know what you think of all this, in the comments section down below. Jadakiss Tells The Story Of His Worst Show Ever To Dave East

As a seasoned veteran in the rap game, Jadakiss has a couple of disastrous concert moments in his memory bank. Moreover, he recently shared one of these, which he believes was the worst, to Dave East on HipHopWired’s I Got Questions series. The two New York lyricists spoke on a variety of topics too, ranging from their respective career trajectories and their experiences on the road, which led to this story. Furthermore, Jada explained that this happened during The LOX’s first European tour. To sum his tale up with the moral of the story: when you’re traveling for a long time, always pack extra underwear.

“It was probably our first European tour, late ’90s in London and I ran out of underwear,” Jadakiss told Dave East. “One of my homies from my block here lived in London too. So I’m like, ‘Yo Nerf, I need some boxers for the show. He’s like, ‘Don’t worry I got you.’ We looking and there’s nothing, though. I had a pair of Speedos. I had the worst s**ts ever. It was my worst show ever in life. I felt horrible. These s**ts- there wasn’t even boxer briefs. They was boy shorts- the KD, London Euro joints. No matter what happens, overpack underwear.”

Hopefully this didn’t happen to the Yonkers MC again, but it’s a small blemish in an illustrious path full of amazing performances. Whether it’s his standout Verzuz appearance, festivals, or just his raw commitment to the art of live hip-hop and freestyling, Jadakiss is always on point on stage. It’s no surprise, then, that for his place in the rap game, the newer generation holds a lot of respect and admiration for him. For example, during a July interview with EBONY, Metro Boomin named the 28-year-old among his dream collabs.

“I have this long list written out of all the people I would love working with,” the star producer remarked. “Working with Nas on Spider-Verse was the first time I got to do something with him. My mom loved him and used to play his songs all the time. So, I used to go out and buy his albums when I was young. But as far as other dream collabs, man, Jadakiss, 50, Snoop. Honestly, I don’t want to keep going because I don’t want to leave anyone out.” For more news and the latest updates on Jadakiss and Dave East, come back to HNHH.

Pusha T Fan Lost His Prosthetic Leg At His Show, Push Responds: “We Gotta Find That”

Pusha T has been pretty busy lately. He was featured on Freddie Gibbs’ new project $oul $old $eperately with the song “Gold Rings.” He’s also working on a solo project, and recently announced which top-tier producers he’s collaborating with.

But all of this business hasn’t stopped Push from listening to his fans. On September 29, the Bronx rapper performed at The Pageant in St. Louis as part of his It’s Almost Dry tour, and one fan shared a surprising anecdote from the show.

On Twitter, user @endeylive wrote that he enjoyed the performance, but seemed to have misplaced something pretty valuable. “I lost my prosthetic leg at your stl show,” @endeylive wrote. “Still had fun tho.”

While it didn’t seem that the fan was too broken up about the lost leg, Push noticed the tweet and showed concern in his response. “We gotta find that man,” he wrote. “If you were at the STL show and know where my guy’s prosthetic leg is… pls hand it over.”

The fan maintained a good attitude about the predicament as other fans started to comment on the situation. “How son get home with no leg,” asked one user. “I hopped,” @endeylive wrote.

Meanwhile, Pusha is continuing on with his tour, which is onto its second half. He’s said that it’s been a great experience so far. “Watching the world react to ‘Brambleton’ has been surreal,” He told Complex. “It’s a very personal song, but people really honed in and really tuned in to that record. I know there’s not a Brambleton Avenue in every city all over the world, but they act like there is.”
