Shaq Shares Some ‘King Talk’ With Blackway To Commemorate LeBron James’ Historical 20th NBA Season

Rappin’ Shaq is back!

The NBA’s first successful rap star got back on the mic to celebrate one of the league’s most successful players’ historical season with “King Talk.” Alongside Blackway, who you might remember from his Spider-Man: Enter The Spider-Verse theme song “What’s Up Danger,” and producer Koko, Shaq commemorates LeBron James reaching his 20th season, breaking the all-time scoring record, and leading the Los Angeles Lakers once again to the playoffs.

Shaq explained how the track came to life in a statement. “KoKo and I have been sending beats back and forth for a minute now and after he played me this one, I knew I had to jump on it,” he said. “I’ve been waiting for the perfect moment for a collab with Blackway and this was it. This is the type of record that gets me hyped like I’m walking out for game seven of the finals. The lyrics and vibe of this track was so perfect for the moment when LeBron James set the NBA scoring record and I knew I had to share it with the world—a king recognizes a king. It was crazy to see so many people connect with the song when they heard the teaser, just like I did when we created it.”

“King Talk” arrives just days after Shaq teamed up with a few more rising rappers, Lex Bratcher, Scarlip, and Ihearcanvas for the “Bodies” freestyle. Check out “King Talk” above and “Bodies” below.

Draymond Green Hilariously Had LeBron Request Denied By Steve Kerr

Draymond Green and the Golden State Warriors are going to be in a fight for the ages this week. Overall, that is because the Warriors are set to take on the Los Angeles Lakers in the second round of the playoffs. Although the Lakers have LeBron James and Anthony Davis, the Warriors have a dynasty at stake. This is going to be a very interesting series, and no one really knows how it will go. However, there is going to be a lot of GOAT talk once this series is all said and done.

Moreover, it should be noted that Draymond Green and LeBron James are very good friends. Over the years, they have gone to each other’s parties and have always remained friendly. This is especially true now that Green is a member of Klutch Sports. Additionally, there are rumors that Green could join the Lakers next season. That said, according to reports, Green wanted time off earlier in the season so that he could watch LeBron break the scoring record. However, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr made sure that never happened.

Draymond Green And LeBron Are A Fun Duo

According to Marc J. Spears, “Steve Kerr decided it was best for Green to be with the team the night before a game in Portland, Oregon, instead of going to Los Angeles to see James.” Quite frankly, you cannot blame Kerr for feeling this way. After all, you need your best players to be around the team when the going gets tough. That said, this whole situation is quite funny when you consider the narrative around Draymond Green and his love of LeBron. We’re sure Green ended up watching the record-breaking game on television, instead.

As for this upcoming playoff series, it seems as though it is going to be an amazing one. Fans of both teams are going to be seriously on edge, and it will be marvelous. Hopefully, the best team moves on, where they will likely play the Denver Nuggets. Let us know who you think will win the series, in the comments below. Ma$e Dubs Steph Curry Better Than LeBron

Ma$e knows what it is like to be on top of the world. Currently, on Spotify, the rap legend has 2 million people per month listening to his music. With his top song ‘Feel so Good’ earning over 127 million plays. Now the rap icon is moving on to discussing highly debatable sports takes. In a recent Instagram Live with Cam’ron, the pair discussed the talents of LeBron James and Steph Curry. While both respect the game of both players, Ma$e believes that Curry is the better player.

The Warriors sharpshooter has continued to climb up the greatest players of all time list. Recently, after the Warriors opening round victory over the Kings, many were making the case for Curry to be a top 10 player of all time. However, being compared to being on the same level as James hasn’t been much of a conversation. However, it makes sense that this discussion would finally come up. Check out the comments in question in the video below.

Ma$e Creating Heated NBA Debate

One of the biggest reasons that Curry and James haven’t been a comparable duo is their style of play. James is 6’9 and can play every position on the floor. James has been known more as a facilitator who can take over a game at any time. However, Curry is more known as a lethal shooter. Curry changed the entire landscape of the NBA with his style of play. A generational talent that is somehow spoken of in an underrated light because of his talents changing the game.

The debate will now be etched in the front of everyone’s brain. Especially now that the two are playing each other in the second round of the NBA Playoffs. The meeting between James and the Warriors will be another reminder of one of the greatest rivalries in league history. However, when describing the rivalry as one play vs. one team, it’s hard to say someone is better than that one player. Who do you believe is the better player? LeBron James Gives Steph Curry His Roses In Media Interview

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers pulled off a massive first-round upset. The Lakers entered the playoffs as the seventh seed in the Western Conference. However, the team showed the Memphis Grizzlies that seeding means nothing. As the team took down the number two team in the West. Now the Lakers have their sights set on another series victory. However, this time, James and company will have to take down the reigning champions.

The Warriors were also in an opening series as an underdog. The team faced off with the hottest team in the league, the Sacramento Kings. The Kings attempted to look the part of an experienced team. However, it was the Warriors that used their playoff experience to overcome the team that lights the beam. The stage is set for one of the biggest series matchups that isn’t happening in the Conference Finals. On Monday, James took time with the media during the Lakers shootaround to discuss the series.

LeBron James Respects Steph Curry’s Game

James discussed how the two top stars have a lot of similarities. “We’re two of the most competitive players that have ever played this game, and we want to etch our names in the history books as much as we can. … I got nothing but the greatest respect for Steph.” It seems as if there will be no trash talk from either team leading up to the start of the series. Which is something both teams dealt with in their first-round matchups. Unfortunately for the Grizzlies, they didn’t understand the term bulletin board material while playing the Lakers.

James and Curry are on the Mount Rushmore of the greatest players of the last decade. Now it seems that one may end the other’s chance at a final championship. This series could even be the last time we see the Warriors big three on the court together. However, the time to get emotional isn’t right now. Now is the time to lock in and take care of business. So, who will take the series between the Lakers and the Warriors? Give us your series predictions in the comment section. For the latest news in sports, keep it right here with HNHH.

Shannon Sharpe Reveals Feelings On Brooks-James Rivalry

Shannon Sharpe has long been known as a public LeBron James defender. However, many were ready to see James put the Memphis Grizzlies and Dillon Brooks in their place. Luckily, everyone got exactly what they wanted when the Lakers eliminated the Grizzlies in the opening round. The game was an exclamation point from James and the Lakers, letting everyone know not to write them off. But Sharpe believes the issue between James and Dillon was lopsided.

The talents between the two are vastly different. James has every accolade an NBA player could ever achieve. As Brooks is still looking for a way to create a name for himself. However, poking the bear may not have been the best idea. According to Sharpe, especially when your talent doesn’t match your words. “Dillion Brooks is competing with himself. He’s trying to make a name for himself by talking, but at some point your game has to do the walking.”

Shannon Sharpe Believes Brooks Wasn’t Only Issue For Grizzlies

The Grizzlies had a very interesting season. The franchise had one of the better regular seasons in the organization’s history. However, off-the-court issues hindered the team from the beginning. Ja Morant continues to deal with legal issues stemming from incidents away from the game. While Brooks may have opened up a can of worms, he may not have wanted. He may argue it, but Brooks has built a reputation as a trash-talker on the court. However, being known as that player isn’t always easy.

The lights were bright, and the Grizzlies were ready to be in the dark. It felt similar to the way the Sacramento Kings were eliminated. A young team that wasn’t ready for the moment. However, the entire series could be a great learning tool for a team that should be looking to prove a point. Whatever the case may be, the Grizzlies learned to respect their elders this post-season. Do you agree with Shannon Sharpe’s statements on Brooks and how he handled the series? Let us know what you think in the comment section. For the latest NBA news, keep it right here with HNHH.

Dillon Brooks Says He Doesn't Regret Comments to LeBron Because He's a 'Competitor'

Dillon Brooks has finally spoken. After being tossed by LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers from the playoffs, Brooks had been silent, opting to skip post-game media availability and receiving a $25,000 fine in the process.

Brooks was on hand at the Grizzlies’ season wrap-up session and gave his thoughts to the media. “That’s who I am,” Brooks said. “I’m a competitor. I compete. I don’t think it got LeBron ‘geeked’ up. He’s back in the playoffs, it’d been a little while. He was ready to play.”

After the Los Angeles Lakers ousted the Memphis Grizzlies from the NBA Playoffs, King James didn’t stick around to shake hands with his opponent, especially Dillon Brooks. But over the weekend, the Lakers star did have some messages to get off, one of which was written by JAY-Z.

Hitting Twitter, James sent a message to the young boys, evoking the energy of HOV’s “Trouble” when, at a point, he was doing the same.

“Trouble” was part of JAY-Z’s “Kingdom Come” album and bars set for R. Kelly and others. But the jabs at “young” rappers have long been thought to be bars at Lil Wayne, who was running with the Best Rapper Alive title and had subliminals for JAY-Z as well. Clearly, they are cool today.

But Bron wasn’t done, flipping Mystikal’s “if you see me fighting a bear, help the bear.” Another shot at the Grizzlies.

Don’t you ever forget LeBron James is a Roc Boy.

Dillon Brooks Breaks Silence On LeBron James After Subtweet

Dillon Brooks has broken his silence on his beef with LeBron James following the Memphis Grizzlies’ loss to the Los Angeles Lakers in the first round of the NBA playoffs. James appeared to subtweet Brooks by quoting JAY-Z lyrics on Saturday night as the Lakers advanced to the second round. Despite the defeat, Brooks says he has no regrets about angering LeBron James.

“That’s who I am,” he told reporters on Sunday. “I’m a competitor. I compete. I don’t think it got LeBron ‘geeked’ up. He’s back in the playoffs, it’d been a little while. He was ready to play.” Prior to the comments, the NBA announced that it had fined Brooks $25,000 for “failure to participate in team postgame media availability during the first round of the 2023 NBA playoffs.”

“Unlike you little ****, I’m a grown ass man,” James’ tweet reads. “Big shoes to fill, grown ass pants. Prolly hustled with your pops, go ask your parents. It’s apparent you’re staring at a legend. Who put a few little **** in they place before. Trying to eat without saying they grace before!” The quote comes from JAY-Z’s song, “Trouble,” off of 2006’s Kingdom Come. James also posted on Instagram, “If you ever see me fighting in the forest with a Grizzly bear, HELP THE BEAR.”

Things between Brooks and James really heated up as the games went on between the Lakers and Grizzlies. After taking Game 2, Brooks told reporters, “I don’t care, he’s old. You know what I mean? I was expecting him to do that game four, game five. He wanted to say something when I got my fourth foul, he should’ve been saying that earlier on. I poke bears, I don’t respect no one until they come and give me 40. I pride myself on what I do.”

According To Netflix, Drake Is The ‘King Of Collectibles,’ Or So Their New Series Highlights

Drake works hard but plays even harder. Over the years, the “Search & Rescue” rapper has documented his outrageously massive sports bets, his latest being on the UConn Huskies. Now the musician’s love for a good adrenaline rush is on full display in Netflix’s new series King Of Collectibles: The Goldin Touch.

The series follows Ken Goldin, the owner of Golden Auctions, a company focused on tracking down the rarest collectibles item, most of which are related to sports. That’s where Drake comes in. In one of the series’ episodes, Goldin hops onto to plane to Toronto to help the rap star get his hands on a rare item from his longtime friend LeBron James.

Goldin is looking for the LeBron James “Triple Logoman” card. The item contains the individual NBA logos for each team James won titles with. The catch is only one of those cards exists. So if the pair does get their hands on it, the card could be worth millions. While we won’t spoil the results of the episode, that scene is certainly worth a watch.

In an interview with the Philly Voice, Goldin ensures that their show isn’t glamorous, saying, “Everything in the show is an actual transaction. I think people will enjoy seeing how business gets done. Not everything is a success.”

King Of Collectibles: The Goldin Touch is available for streaming exclusively via Netflix. Find more information here.

LeBron Appears To Subtweet Dillon Brooks

The beef between Dillon Brooks and LeBron has dominated the NBA Playoffs thus far. Things began before the playoffs when Brooks said he relished the idea of sending the Lakers home early. LeBron appeared to dismiss the comments before the teams took to the court.

However, Brooks was eager to continue the beef on the court. After the Grizzlies won Game 2 and the pair exchanged words, Brooks called LeBron “old” and that he didn’t respect the veteran because he “hadn’t dropped 40” on Memphis. Later in the series, Brooks was ejected for a flagrant 2 on LeBron. Last night, the Lakers brutally eliminated the Grizzlies in a 125-85 rout.

LeBron Breaks Twitter Silence To Slam Brooks

LeBron hadn’t tweeted since April 14 but the day after he dismantled the Grizzlies. He had posted some strong words seemingly aimed at Brooks.

Unlike you little 🤬I’m a grown ass man
Big shoes to fill 🤬, grown ass pants
Prolly hustled with your pops, go ask your parents
Its apparent you’re staring at a legend
Who, put a few little 🤬in the they place before
Trying to eat without saying they grace before! 🤫👑

LeBron James tweet, April 29 2023

It’s a very strong statement from the usually-reserved LeBron. While he does not call out Brooks by name, it’s clear that he’s calling out the Grizzlies defender. “It’s apparent you’re staring at a legend” is more than likely referring to Brooks’ comments about now respecting LeBron. He also cemented his status by following up with “Who, put a few little [swearing emoki] in they place before trying to eat without saying they grace before!”

Brooks was largely been unable to back up his trash talk after his shutdown defense in Game 2. Meanwhile, LeBron absolutely balled out. He scored 133 points on 48% shooting during the six-game series against the Grizzlies. He also added 67 rebounds and 31 blocks. This led to a double-double average on the series at 22.2 points and 11.2 rebounds. Furthermore, LeBron has ceded dominant performances to his teams, allowing for them to have bigger performances while he played a supporting role. They will have the winner of the Kings-Warriors series, which concludes Sunday.
