JAY-Z says that he once refused to lend a cousin $4,800 and vented about how the interaction made him uncomfortable. The legendary rapper, who is worth approximately $2.5 billion, explained his side of the situation while speaking with Kevin Hart on his talk show, Hart to Heart, in a clip that has resurfaced on social media.

JAY-Z went on to say that he was frustrated when his cousin remarked that he didn’t “believe in their dream.” The cousin also suggested it would return Jay a profit of $2 million. The comments have been dividing fans on social media, with many suggesting it was a selfish move by Hov.

One user on Twitter wrote: “Jay Z has 2.5 billion dollars, his cousin asked for 4800 and he said no. To put that into perspective, that’d be the equivalent of someone who made 50,000 a year being asked to give a dime.” Another defended him: “The problem is once you say yes that first time, they always think they can come back to you for more. Tom Brady And Travis Scott Surprise Fans At Trading Card Event

Tom Brady, Travis Scott, and Kevin Hart served as surprise guests at the Topps and Fanatics Rip Night in Linwood, New Jersey this weekend. Meanwhile, the trading card event was shocked to have such big-name guests. Furthermore, this caused the parking lot to become flooded with fans as the store only had a capacity of 100. Brady embraced the nature of the event, trading cards with fans and kids in attendance.

“This was incredible. Unreal. I did not expect the turnout. We were notified on short notice. We talked to the kids and got them involved. The smiles on these kids’ faces. The experience of trading their own cards with an athlete and celebrity is an experience they’ll probably never have again,” store owner Jon Riffle told TMZ. Furthermore, Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin also attended the event.

Brady, Scott, And Hart All In At Jay-Z Gala

Furthermore, the quartet of famous faces were in New Jersey for a gala thrown by Rubin, Jay-Z, and Meek Mill for the REFORM Alliance. Scott, Quavo, and Lil Baby were just some of the a-lister performers who gave an intimate concert to about 200 people. Additionally, the event was a James Bond-themed charity blackjack tournament hosted by Jay-Z, Meek Mill, and Rubin in Atlantic City. Meanwhile, other performers included Fat Joe, Fabolous, Lil Durk, and French Montana. The event included an auction that reportedly raised over $24 million for charity.

While Jay-Z didn’t perform atop the marble bars and custom-made gaming tables, he was said to be “holding court” alongside a group including Kyle Kuzma, according to Page Six. Famous faces at the event included Kim Kardashian, Jack Harlow, and Matthew McConaughey. Meanwhile, the auction was emceed by Kevin Hart. The event was in honor of Reform Alliance, a non-profit dedicated to parole, probation, and sentencing reform. Jay-Z, Meek Mill, and Rubin are all board members.

Kevin Hart recently revealed that he is temporarily confined to a wheelchair after tearing several core muscles in recent weeks. “44 and sitting my ass down!!!!! I got to be the dumbest man alive!!!!! What the fuck am I doing???? I blew my shit….I’m done. FML,” Hart wrote on Instagram. However, Hart appeared humbled at the very least, stating that it was the stupidest thing he had done in his life. Furthermore, he went on to question why he had even tried, saying that he had been blinded by the desire to be the “fastest man at the BBQ.” He went on to say that the injury was a sign that he needed to “slow down” and “act his age.”

He later shared a more NSFW update about his condition. “It’s fucking bad. My dick looks like a thumb. Everything’s swollen,” Hart lamented in a follow-up video. Additionally, the comedian said that his “balls got big as hell” and that he is still currently unable to move his legs. Furthermore, he spoke on the state the injury has left him in. “Look at this shit,” he continued. “You know how long it takes me to get the fuck out of the car? I’m a mess.” While calling out his famous friends who have been clowning on him, Hart said he is looking at a six to week recovery time. However, footage of the incident that stuck him in the chair has been posted online.

It’s your classic sports injury. The video shows Hart running down a darkened residential street against Stevan Ridley, who played eight seasons in the NFL. Furthermore, at the 2011 combine, Ridley clocked a 4.65 40-yard dash. He was taken in the third round by the Patriots. As the two men race toward the camera, Hart pulls up early and hobbles through the final few yards of the race, clearly injured. Will Smith Shares His Mixed Feelings On His Family Finding Fame

Will Smith has always had a tumultuous journey with fame. While he himself skyrocketed to success as both an actor and a rapper in the 90s, he didn’t have a fully famous family until later on. According to Page Six, he sat down on a recent episode of Kevin Hart’s interview show Hart To Heart and discussed family matters. Smith referred to 2010 as his greatest year as both an artist and a parent. He cited Jaden’s film Karate Kid and Willow’s song “Whip My Hair” as major accomplishments that released in 2010. “I’m building this dream of a family I’ve had in my mind. I’m going to do it better than my father did it.” Smith says on the show.

Pretty much 2010 to 2012 I had achieved everything I had ever dreamed,” Will Smith elaborated. Despite how successful he felt for himself and his family he also admits it didn’t make them happier. “Nobody in my family was happy,” he explains later in the show. He compared the family’s fame to a “platoon” and decried that eventually, nobody wanted to be a part of it. “Willow was the first one to begin the mutiny and it was my first realization that success and money don’t mean happiness.” He concludes the interview reflecting on the lesson that taught him. “Up until that point, I really believed that you could succeed your way to a house and a family and you could win your way to happiness.”

Earlier this year Will Smith and Martin Lawrence took to social media to announce that Bad Boys 4 was officially coming. J. Cole Revealed Some Left-Field — But Not Really Surprising — Rap Heroes In A Chat With Kevin Hart

J. Cole has long held a reputation as one of his generation’s foremost rap lyricists. In a recent interview with Kevin Hart, he revealed some of the influences that he used to develop the style that earned him that reputation. The list includes some unsurprising, obvious picks like Tupac, Jay-Z, Nas, Eminem, André 3000, and Lil Wayne, who he calls “the big bullets,” but then he also name-checks some left-field acts such as Royce Da 5’9 and Canibus.

J. Cole has gotten a lot of love from some of those names; early in his career, he signed with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation and got Nas’ attention with one of the songs on his second album. In 2018, he even got to collaborate with Royce Da 5’9 on the song “Boblo Boat.” He’s also gotten a lot of love from his peers and predecessors lately, as well. Rap legend Big Daddy Kane called J. Cole his hero in a recent interview, while Drake brought out J. Cole for a surprise performance during a stop on his It’s All A Blur Tour.

Cole has since paid that love forward. Elsewhere in his Kevin Hart interview, he declared, “I hate to say it almost ’cause it sounds like pandering, but I really do think, like, man, there’s a lot of fire female rappers. I feel like they’re doing some of the most exciting — commercially, they’re doing some of the most exciting [things]. They’re giving us a lot of fire moments. I feel like that’s something that wasn’t around when we was growing up. […] You always had one. Lil’ Kim, Foxy, Eve. There was always one, but there could never be more than one, almost, it felt like. Now, it’s like, bro, we getting moments and moments and moments. I think that’s hard.”
